Kaelum said:This thread has gotten way beyond ridiculous. Those who are for this, please tell me how this is any different than a pig moonwalk chasing a survivor with a trap on their head? This gameplay has been in the game for a year, and I don’t see anyone complaining about it.
Its no different, except a trap going off takes several minutes during which the survivor has many opportunities to make the Pig mess up and initiate chase again, all while giving survivors time to do easily 3, maybe 4 generators.
Only takes a few seconds with Legion. Theres no counterplay to either, but you essentially throw the game doing it as Pig. That being said, the survivor in both scenarios are having an equally stupid time not really even getting a chance to play.
It's also easier to loop and lose Amanda when she's crouching.

I've never played Huntress, but I agree with you.
-
An idiot DC'ec on me while carrying him on my shoulders and the entire match I was carrying him when not carrying other survivors.
Never seen that before. -

Well yeah, I doubt anyone will argue with you there.
But when you have killers like thisYou cannot.

If there's something wrong with Amanda's Traps being heard all over map....you have an audio problem.

You all should just be happy that they are releasing new content at all and actually listening to the ideas from the fan base to create it. They don’t have to give us dedicated servers, fix anything, or give new content and about all of you would still play the damn game anyway regardless of what you might try to say on here behind your screen@not_Queen I apologize for their ungrateful comments, me and plenty of others love the new map and the fact that you guys are working hard to improve everything, release content , and make dedicated servers. Not many companies care about their base the way you do and I appreciate it!
Ha ha haaaaaa!
No new content=the game dies lol
Easy logic. -
Smack each. Let them heal. Keep smacking, let them heal.
If one guy is advertising 1 Shot Per Hook then I'll start hooking and heading opposite of the map.
I wouldn't kill anyone though. -
The lighting on some maps and the sound is irritating.........and that stupid map, the New Map, I ######### hate the new map.
Thank God I'm keeping my rank at 15 instead of 1 this month. -
Y'all are depressing lol

Ugh. Great...I wonder when they're going to fix the scratch marks on that stupid map.

Bubba. Has such a bad reputation of just camping and reving his chainsaw.

They give the perk 10 seconds in the trailerThey probably intended that perk exactly the way they stated it there; without a timer, but realised it was so un fun that they really did not want the perk to exist in the first place, bringing it where it is now.
If the perk reveals aura's of people nearby, you'll basically always know where the survivors are when it comes to doing the objective against a lower-survivor count team.
That is why this perk should not work globally:
(final offer)
Surveillance:A survivor gains the exposed effect for 20 seconds after touching a regressing generator. When you are within 12/18/24 meters from that generator, gain a sound notification.
This is a good idear, but the balance part is hard.
Oof...Exposed effect is a tough one.
I haven't seen Make your Choice being mentioned as one of the major problems in this game, so that one isn't that scary.
Make Your Choice is Meta for Spirit.

I Love it. -
What. On PS4 I fill a lobby in seconds.

I'm staying at 9 and 10 until after the event.
Then I'll head back to 1. It's so boring at higher ranks. -
I'm surprised custom matches isn't a thing here.

sometimes i wish there were no chat options in this game ... killer side or survivor side. One of the things I loved about the "souls" games ... people had to go out of their way to trash talk, otherwise most people didnt feel it was worth it..
You should play on console then, no chat there.
Oh, that's not really the case.
Swfs are usually in party chat, and can invite you on the fly to join if you aren't in the SWF.
And unless you have access blocked, they can still message you.I always thought it was weird when Survivors would message me before the match started, when I'm the Killer. How do you find out who the Killer is before the match even starts?
On console?
Press and Hold Home.
Go to Dead by Daylight.
Who I'm Playing With.
If the names don't match the survivors you're with, it's the killer. -

Take camping, for example. Borrowed Time is the only practical counter (to actually save that person). Or if you're a stealth player who doesn't want their aura to be read by all the new aura reading perks and abilities, you gotta run distortion or sole survivor. Killer's got ruin and you can't hit those skill checks? Can't find the totem? Stake Out, Small Game, Detective's Hunch.
At the same time, you have things like bloodlust and generator regression added for killers. And let's not discount the window blocking mechanic which prevents countless infinites, that one is absolutely huge. It's not a one way street, it's the same for both sides. "Can't find the totem?" They spawn on top of it, or it is out in the open. They ALWAYS find the totem (or at least 99% of the time), and usually within the first minute of the game.
First minute is being generous. Narrow it down to first 40 seconds.
Truth.
I have literal video proof.
The one good thing about Ruin is it shows you where the survivors spawn, as it will almost always be near the gen they start closest to.
Not even making fun, it's the one good thing that Ruin does. At least it's something I guess.
After it's destroyed it lets me start playing like a complete #########. =]

Money.
Experience.
They can hire better coders.
You know....
Money can do anything.
And well....unfortunately Epic Games is THE It company right now.
They are using the same engine and cooperate together if I'm not miss informed.
Also this doesn't excuse such a big gap between a SMARTPHONE 60fps and a Ps4 hardly hitting 30fps. That's just to much difference.
Also didn't behaviour spend millions of dollars to buy the rights of Starbrezze? I don't think that money is the issue here.I'm also saying you can't compare them to a big dog company.

Gen Rush.Gen rush hasn't been a thing since BNP's were removed, and even then they were rare.
I don't see why a negative connotation has to be put on survivors for doing their objective.
I think gen times are just fine right now.Even with BNP removed, I find the 5% winrate of killers on a higher level quite terrifying. (Marth88's experiment)
Marths experiment that means nothing because it's looking at it from one teams perspective.
There's been a lot of changes since the experiment so the stats definitely mean even less than they did now.
The killers he faced probably had a dozen of decent matches before that one bad match, it doesn't mean anything.Devs have showed recent stats and less than 50% of survivors survive at rank one, those are pretty good numbers.
The Dev's cannot show stats of "Rank 1" because DBD doesn't have a real ranking system.
People who are rank 1 can be terrible.
Rank one doesn't mean top 1%, it can be literally the worst player who understands the basics of the pip system.Marth88's experiment was closer to what a real rank 1 would represent.
A lot has changed? Then why not take a look at the recent 22+ survival streak of Noob3?
Wow, he won 22 games in a row near rank reset? He must be just amazing that really shows the imbalances that newer killers can be beaten by 4000 hour survivors this proves so much now thank you.
Also counting DCs as surviving as well kind of changes it a little, and hatch escapes, if three people die and one gets the hatch while that survivor did escape and survive three or less survivors died for it to happen lmao, doesn't really matter
"Oh, 3 people died and one survived? Doesn't really matter, that one person escaped so it's 100% imbalanced"
He went to 23 I think and he admitted he had a lot if help from Vooshy.
He's REALLY good non the less. -
We need, absolutely need, a new ranking system.

I was playing spirit and put someone down under a pallet. I knew there was someone there to stun me when I picked up the downed survivor.I had Enduring and Spirit Fury (prepped and ready)
I pick up my victim and the other victim comes around the corner and hits me with the pallet.
But I don't drop the victim on my shoulder.
My guess is that they hit me during the pickup animation, and it completed. The spirit fury broke the pallet like it should, showing the game recognized the pallet stun.
Post video if you can! Try it on different killers too!

And even if they do all win that means they were way better than me, thus they deserve to escape. Nothing wrong with that.
I've honestly never seen a community so afraid to lose like the DbD community.
on certain variations of some maps you cannot win if certain loop tiles spawn, unless the survivors don't know what they're doing
As far as i know all maps are currently viable for both killers and survivors. Sure, maybe some maps are killer/survivor "sided", but far from being impossible for the other side.
Luck, like it or not, affects the results, just like in real life, just deal with it.
For instance: when doors spawn on the same side of the wall or right on each side of the map.3 Tier 3 Claudettes spawn.
2 Murky Reagents.
Backwater Swamp. -
In all honesty. Bad totem placement.

It just dumbfounds me that people think it’s okay to just waste away their whole life at their computers. It’s only going to get worse. It’s a problem.
Some people were raised as gamers.
Some people work everyday in a judgemental society and look into gaming to just chill out.
I pop open a Monster, chips and pico de gallo and just play either CoD or DbD.Some people deserve this time off from the working world.
My guy and myself a gaymers and we enjoy the time we get together gaming. If that's such a problem for you then having gamer friends or a gaming lifestyle just isn't for you.
