  • I want Old Freddy back with some tweaks

  • Tracking Trickster. Basically using tracking perks on him is quite fun. Need that aura add-on, diamond cufflinks with any other add-on, with the perks BBQ, Floods of Rage, Darkness Revealed, and Iron Maiden for the quicker reload and a different kind of tracking.

  • 1 - All-Kill: Trickster and Yun Jin are my main characters I play. I love the dynamic between them in their stories. I also occasionally listen to Trickster's main menu music in the background. They are my favorite characters to mix cosmetics with and Trickster's power is overall my favorite. Something about the way Trickster acts makes me really enjoy playing him and I actually feel like a killer in the chase. Without this chapter, there would have been no collaboration with KARD too, which is how I found out about that music group and is my favorite to this day.

2 - Chains of Hate: Deathslinger is very fun to play for me. He was the first ranged killer I got into and proved to me that I can play ranged killers on console as well, despite me moving to PC later on regardless. I feel immense satisfaction landing shots as this dude like no other. I also just find Zarina really cool. I need her to have more cosmetics though fr.

3 - Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy was my original killer main and, likewise, Quentin was my original survivor main. This chapter, along with the Legion trailer before they came out, were the main reasons I got into this game. Old Freddy and Quentin will always hold a special place in my heart. I miss his old power so much and I feel the rework was unnecessary save for a few tweaks.

  • Hag. I didn't enjoy playing against her, but once I picked her up to unlock her perks I actually very much enjoyed playing as her. It is a fun territorial playstyle.

  • Maybe they will look into the Nurse with the amount of people and threads complaining about her. That's up to the devs to decide whether it is necessary or not

  • I think his knife change was great since it rewards good aim with faster downs but also punishes bad aim by having to reload more often. He is very loop dependent. I do not think he is too strong since sure he is strong in the 1v1, but not so much in the 1v4 so he has to generate pressure by getting consistent downs. This can be difficult on some maps though. I think he is stronger than people give him credit for, but certainly not near S tier. He is also more loopable than people think which is why I enjoy his chases when it comes to mind games and clever throwing spots. Although the chase is significantly harder if the survivor finds a rock to loop around but can still be mind gamed too.

  • Disco Lines & demotape - Can We Get Away Tonight

    Fox Stevenson - Dreamland

    KARD - Rumor

Majid Jodan - Life Worth Living

Gatlin - What If I Love You

    Walls - En Dos

Seeb & Highasakite - Free to Go

Alan Walker & Georgia Ku - Don't You Hold Me Down

    Charli XCX - Good Ones

    Alexander Stewart - Backwards

  • Whenever a game wants me to use LCTRL, I normally switch it to LALT such as for crouching. Having to reach for LCTRL doesn't feel natural to me like LALT does.

  • The power isn't the best but I love playing Onryo for the sounds. Very satisfying to me

  • A long time ago, some survivors would do their event objectives and leave the match to finish them faster. This obviously made the remaining matches kind of boring. Therefore, BHVR added this requirement for survivors in order to prevent them from completing the objectives quickly and leaving the matches. However, I do not think this makes much sense nowadays since dc penalties are a thing. Technically now it is much faster to complete event objectives by playing through the entire match because dc penalties would delay another match more than playing out the current one. Plus more bp for everybody yay

  • I'd be interested in seeing the ability of Dead Hard be a part of No Mither instead to give that perk some value and change Dead Hard to do something else.

  • Since there is no cross progression, I would have stayed on Xbox if there was at least MnK support. Starting over years of progress isn't the greatest feeling for anybody.

    Edit: nice

  • He looks so awesome here! I personally use the black, white, and gold outfit with the mask

  • I mained Trickster when he first came out due to liking his style and cosmetics. I still very much enjoy that, but I overall keep playing him because I like his power and the way his add-ons slightly change the way he plays. To this day though, I love mixing new cosmetics with him and creating different outfits. I'm liking this new one I came up with:

    DBD1.png

  • That add-on isn't even that powerful unless the survivor is caught in a dead zone, in which they would have been downed from knives anyway. Considering that add-on promotes an m1 style type of gameplay, and Trickster is very easy to loop if he isn't using knives, the value of this add-on drops quite a bit. In some situations, yes it can provide some utility but that can be said for all his add-ons which changes the way he plays a bit. This add-on is not so strong that it needs a nerf when you compare it to other exposed add-ons as it has counterplay.

  • If the scourge hooks are going to have this level of randomness, then at least the basement hooks should always be scourge hooks to have some consistency. Or if they want to make monstrous shrine a slightly better perk, it should maybe become a scourge hook perk to give some value to itself and allow for consistency in using the basement hooks. I prefer the monstrous shrine method of making basement scourge hooks, though, since some coding could probably make the normal scourge hooks spawn some distance away from each other with some randomness involved.

  • It is apparently a bug, but I prefer this version since it not only fits Ghostface more personally but the PTB and second live versions hurt my ears while this first live version sounds nicer, quieter, and not repetitive.

  • When I had my fps set to anything above 105, I weirdly experienced lots of rubberbanding and when I set it to 105, I experienced none. Not sure if there is a correlation with that but it fixed my problem ever since.

Maybe people don't like him anymore because he eated Maurice :(

I want a Dredge Maurice outfit personally

pretty sure it was made to fix the issue that caused dredge to be impossible to blind during vault animation

To be fair, not all killer animations are equal in this regard. Similarly, some killers like Hag cannot be blinded when pallet stunned, but they have not changed her animation.

  • I enjoy it personally. The violins fit a slasher killer's theme more imo. The updated one sounded like a construction site jackhammer.

  • Personally, unless the player is doing a bannable offense action, I don't see how any in-game action is toxic. It can be annoying depending on how you interpret it, but the toxic word loses its meaning by saying the simplest things are toxic.

Harassing someone in the end game chat is toxic. Playing the game how you want and using the mechanics of the game is not toxic.

  • Lots of painful houses to loop, I agree. Although I was playing Hag earlier and trapping those windows was satisfying. I wouldn't really say the map is completely hard for killer, though, since there are a ton of open spaces on most of the map that you can catch survivors in. Especially if you play a ranged killer.

  • I really prefer the previous updated version of the music. I honestly hope they keep it because the violin sounds so much better and befitting of a slasher killer like Ghostface. Sounds better to my ears too in general. I know the original ptb version hurt people's ears but the previous live version fixed that for most I'd say.

Funnily enough I think the Black and White scratch marks are intentional. The Known Issues section only mentions Killer Instinct and Loud Noise Notifications.

I do not think that scratch marks part is intentional either though because they do have their color when you are near and stare at them directly, but blend into the black and white filter like the killer instinct otherwise. I hope they fix both problems soon because they are causing me to lose survivors in some chases

  • Where do I sign cuz these skin sets need to go away. Takes away from the fun customization and simply limits variety.

  • I've only played Dredge on PC and not on Xbox yet, but I've seen the controls and they do look funky to use. Some people are used to holding the triggers with their middle fingers and leaving their index fingers on the bumpers, but not everyone does that. I feel like this problem of holding down the ability button for Dredge could be solved on all platforms if they made it toggle based instead, or at least an option in general.

  • I think hatch is fine the way it is right now. They should change the function of the key, however, imo

  • I used to think on-release Legion was fine for the first month they were out. I had to be, and was, very inexperienced to be able to believe something like that back then.

  • @Chadku said:

Wasn't this how old Freddy was nerfed during release?

Yup, that's actually what happened too. I want my on-release old Freddy back

  • I personally think the new main menu looks more organized and cleaner. I agree it could look a bit less bland though, but that has more to do with how the buttons look rather than the way the ui is structured.

  • I actually really like that aspect of its weapon. I love how gross and monstrous it and its animations look. Btw, the doll skin weapon changes the weapon animation so no dangly flesh.

  • I just now submitted the same bug with pictures. I completed the tome and received the lvl 4 Deliverance charm instead of the lvl 4 Crescendo charm. I do not know if I will be able to receive the Crescendo charm now even if this gets fixed :( Hopefully it is fixed soon and hopefully the charm I received converts into the correct one.

  • I have been having loads of fun playing as Dredge. Dunno why but it is just very satisfying teleporting to a locker in general but especially during a chase and getting a hit.

  • I like the new main menu way more than the old one. So much more organized imo and I like being able to see the characters and the campfire setting in the main menu more clearly. The new UI is more well-structured while still keeping the aesthetic of the background.

  • Trickster, but I main ranged in general. I just like the different playstyle you have with them since you have to loop differently and have good aim to be rewarded. It is a nice feeling landing your shots with any ranged killer. I main Trickster specifically because his power is fun for me to use, but I also like his story, cosmetics, lobby & chase theme, and his laugh. He has a very different personality from the rest of the cast that I enjoy playing with.

  • I'll be buying the chapter since I purchase all of them. I'm probably one of few that thinks the new survivor looks cool. I am mainly, however, excited to try out Dredge and the new locker aura perk on Trickster and Huntress. I also want to see how that the new boon breaker perk works with a Pentimento and Plaything build.

  • I used to have some prestiged survivors and killers on Xbox, but recently I switched over to PC so the grind is still on for me.

  • For me, they have been sending me to Ormond quite frequently. At least I enjoy the aesthetics of Ormond.

  • I just ignore it and try to learn more of what I can do with who I am playing as.

  • Probably way too much considering I switched to pc and wanted my cosmetics again...

  • I like the nerfs and buffs Choy made in his video personally.

  • Nemesis is already a very strong chase killer so imo the way the crouch mechanic works with line of sight is a good counter to his ability. His tentacle attack is already forgiving due to the fact that the attack lingers for a bit and allows you to drag the tentacle and still hit the survivor.

  • Some survivors know how to make their scratch marks misleading so if it isn't a perk that is hiding the scratch marks in some way, it could be that. The game is also naturally dark unless you know how to brighten it a bit so some areas of maps make the scratch marks look nonexistent.

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

Nemesis is just a worse Demogorgon

You know, I've always thought of Demo shred as a type of Huntress hatchet but instead of launching a projectile, you launch yourself.

  • I do not like playing against Artist. She shuts down loops too efficiently and I am someone that generally likes to loop. For me, it creates boring gameplay. I also do not like Dead Hard as I feel like I can make a great mind game or read on another player and have it be ignored and then that play extends the chase once more.

  • I have fun playing against Nemesis. I feel like he is easier to loop and mind game than other m2 ranged attack killers. Like other ranged killers, you have to keep in mind that he can punish certain vault plays so timing is important. I think in general I like playing against ranged killers because of the different ways you have to loop them. It gives some variety to games.

  • Ormond is my favorite looking map aesthetically. However, not every killer has the potential to deal with how large the map is. Even when playing survivor, it feels like you have to run for a while to find a generator or other survivors. I don't mind playing on it once in a while when it appears.

  • I do not think it is overrated nor underrated. It works in a great way if you know how to play around it. Definitely not all killers benefit equally, but most benefit regardless. Killers that can avoid losing stacks from Obsessions by using an m2 attack benefit greatly too such as Demo and Nemesis. I've tried it on Trickster and it works well enough too, and catches survivors off guard, if you know when to switch between both his m1 and m2 attacks as some loops deter the use of his m2. On lots of killers it can help end chases quicker and catch up to survivors more often. It is a solid perk imo.
