Yeah it would be interesting what other people actually think.
-
Removing the red stain isn't a good idea. You can already hide it pretty well as killer so removing it would just take make mindgames easier for killer.
-
Could Baby Got Back play whenever we select Jane? Kappa
-
-
I think they're fine as they are.
-
@SmokePotion @TheShape78 You can also just look at it yourself. I just checked my folder and sure enough it's there.
-
What killers are used in red ranks and how much?
-
@ReikoMori Even if the goal is to keep the game fun there still needs to be some sort of balance. I don't see any justification for why the nurse should have access to more than 2 blinks, 3 at most. There are many other things that just shouldn't exist due to the immense difference they can bring into the game. Moris, keys, insta-heals, -hatchets, -chainsaws, insta kill addons on myers, I am probably missing something but thats just off the top of my head. All of these addons/items/offerings can be the sole reason a team wins the game. These things might not have been so powerful when the game first came out when no one knew what the hell they were doing but now that dbd is actually gaining some traction, these things should be looked at and changed if dbd wants to keep growing. There is no incentive for new players to start grinding when they can get stomped by a 5 blink nurse with an ebony mori. Speaking of grinding... Thats also a huge problem. Players have to grind for several hundred hours to get necessary perks to have a chance at winning. Getting rid of the 3 tier perk system would be a huge improvement. The devs themselves have said that the only reason the 3 tier perk system is in place is because they didn't have many perks to fill the bloodweb with originally when they launched back in 2016.
I might have gone a bit off topic but my point is that the devs shouldn't just turn a blind eye to these problems that have been there for several months, perhaps years and carry on making new killers, new survivors. It would be fine for me if the devs were to instead of make a new chapter, instead focus on old issues and get them sorted.

Footsteps are really quiet so not worth playing her atm.
-
@ReikoMori You don't need to learn to make reads or even survivor routing if you can blink 5 times in a row.
By your logic if anyone wanted to play in any way they should have that option without considering the enjoyment of other. So why can't I just get an infinite medkit if I like playing that way? It's not like the killer is also a human being or anything. Why can't I just get an infinite use ds?
-
@ReikoMori Currently her vision doesn't darken while in fatigue, although this is a bug it gives the nurse a huge advantage combined with shadowborn since she can track the survivors even while in fatigue. Also since The Nurse only gets a darkened vision while in fatigue it isn't a massive drawback since she has already had a chance to hit the survivor (and in most cases where there are more than 2 blinks she has).
@PeepingPeacock The longer than DS stun doesn't really matter that much since you have already hit the survivor (considering you have 5 blinks you most likely have) and you can still hear the survivor scream and know what direction they ran.
I do play nurse, I just don't use additional blinks often and if I do it's never more than 3. Playing nurse with additional blinks takes most of the skill out of her. That is at least my personal experience with her.
-
Yup. Even against mid tier killers the survivors dc like there's no tomorrow.
-
I would just DC in those situations. If you don't DC a lot you probably won't get any repercussion. And of course report them in the tally screen.
-
Don't report people on the forums. Especially when you are directly showing the players name. Report people in game and if you want to give further evidence you can also open a support ticket. @MandyTalk Close this?
-
MYC doesn't need a buff. You can already in most cases find out where the rescuer went if you are at the edge of the 32m. Adding an aura read to it will just make it an easy down, especially if there are no pallets/windows around.
-
iirc they said on stream they will be reverting the change to RBT counter stopping in TR.
I don't agree completely with disabling the traps in the endgame since it reduces playstyles for her but then again I understand why they had to do it. It puts too much pressure on the trapped survivor since if you get downed after gates are open you have a very slim chance of escaping. You need to get unhooked, take the trap off and exit all while the timer is ticking down.
-
I've been plundering a lot the last few weeks (Ace in the hole and Plunderers instinct) and I've been getting really good loot like keys (the good ones not green) rainbow maps, flashlight etc. Of course you also get the bad stuff sometimes but it all comes down to rng so it'll even out. Probably half of my games I got good items (green and up).
Only thing I'd like to be changed is that luck would affect chests so Ante up could be used to get better items more consistently.
-
Yup. The auras ######### suck on Ormond. Don't know how they didn't realize that before releasing the map.
-
They answered some of your concerns on the last dev stream like seeing scratch marks.
The reddish/orange color is also kinda like the entity's color so I don't expect them to change that.
-
Saboteur is useless now that they removed the efficiency debuff from toolboxes while saboing hooks. If you wanna sabo just take a toolbox instead.
-
@Cymer Ideally the survivors will have to mend and heal which should take up a lot of their time while you chase the last survivor you tagged. Only really works if the survivors are grouped up. Just like against the Plague survivors don't tend to heal and just work on gens.
-
Over half of these perks shouldn't be made baseline.
-
@HavelmomDaS1 That is not aim assist. The aim assist doesn't target survivors when they use dead hard. The Hillbilly just got lucky that the Claudette pushed him to the location to hit Dwight.
-
@Orion Bubba's and Hillbilly's Chainsaw work with exposed. You can see this when using speed limiter.
-
+1 this
-
After EGC goes live this won't be a problem. I agree with @Orion but it'll probably still get changed if killers will start trapping survivors in the basement and survivors start getting mad.
-
For Pig's crouch I would only change the camera angle higher to help her see a bit better and also to give the player a better feel for how tall they really are so they can use objects for cover more efficiently.
RBTs should be reusable. The Pig could pick them up from the jigsaw boxes where survivors took them off. This would help Pig slow down the game a bit better since getting the traps off doesn't usually take long either way.
-
I'm not a computer wiz and at school so can't watch the vid ReikoMori linked but I'm sure there is a reason why implementing them is taking a long time.
-
Sounds good. Doesn't work. 3 gen doc would rule.
-
Left Behind did get a buff but now that the hatch spawns regardless of how many generators have been completed the perk seems even more useless than before. Have you planned on reworking the perk completely like you did with Tinkerer?
-
Only thing I really dislike are the pig nerfs. Especially the timer not going down while in pig TR. Just curious on what the thought process was behind this.
Also the vaulting speed nerfs seem unnecessary for the Legion.
Otherwise I think the PTB is pretty alright.
-
Iron Will. Whenever I swap it out the next game it would've come in handy.
BBQ only because I'm hungry for bloodpoints :3
-
That reminds me... Still gotta check if I can bodyblock someone with an RBT in the basement Kappa
-
Hatch grab is removed so whichever party gets to the hatch first "wins".
-
EGCs point is mostly to stop survivors staying in the trial at the end, taunting the killer.
Hatch spawning any time there is 1 survivor left is better since the last survivor won't hide for 10+ minutes since they obviously don't have a chance at completing 2/1 generator(s).
Hatch grab removal I understand since killers can now close the hatch so whichever party gets to the hatch first wins.
Door open nerf probably because if the killer closes the hatch the solo survivor alive has a chance at opening the gate. I'm not 100% aboard this change but we'll see how it affects the game.
Remember Me and RBT nerf I do not agree with.
Legion is now bearable on the survivor side with actual counterplay.
If survivors didn't get heal from the fountains they would never cleanse since they wouldn't benefit from it in any way, shape or form.
No clue whats going on with DCs.
-
This clip only shows that the dwight somehow didn't notice the Legion standing on top of the hatch and ran to it like an idiot. What's your point?
-
@Orion Maybe not balance but at least exploits. Legion mend exploit still being in the game is ridiculous. If not patching it, they could've at least disabled the mend time addons.
-
Woah there David, make sure to button up your shirt before heading into the fog!
-
Literally just had a game where a survivor with OoO DC as soon as I downed her. I don't know the words to describe this madness...
-
@Dreamnomad Yeah well if you get banned in dbd it's not like you can just have 100 mil bloodpoints for the next account lol. Good thing OP learned his lesson though :)
-
The aura reading won't even matter if the killer keeps chasing you after MoM activates since after you get downed your aura won't be shown to the killer anymore which means there is no downside to MoM.
-
Unpopular opinion: Self-Care is overrated and not as useful as people think. I'd rather run adrenaline and I do. Even Bond would be better as you gain general knowledge where your teammates are located and you can approach them to heal you.
-
Just make sure you aren't streaming/making videos on exploits that could be recreated in public matches and you're fine :)
-
I would imagine Lee as a survivor myself tbh.
-
Tbh Keys shouldn't exist and we wouldn't have this problem. Same thing for Moris. Why should an offering/item affect the match that much?

Devs have stated multiple times they want to bring solo up to SWF, so I have no idea where you're getting your info from.
@Sythalin And nerfing the only means of communication while hooked helps in that? Bruh. It doesn't even work once they are on their second hook.
-
@Auron471 @Mat_Sella No I am not good(at least without addons), and the DCs that happen after one blink must be because survivors don't want to play against Nurse. Instead of learning how to counter the Nurse they just leave the match.
-
It can't be a double bloodpoint event since PTB is the next day and they wouldn't get any data since everyone would be farming bloodpoints.
-
The devs deactivated it because it was stupid to balance the game around the map being slightly darker or slightly lighter. I never played when the moon bouquets were a thing but playing on a dark map against blendettes doesn't sound fun to me.
-
The devs have said before that it kinda doesn't make sense to have tiers anymore and they are bridging the gap between the different tiers. We'll make it is a good example, so is Devour Hope. New perks are made in a way as to have them viable at every tier. Think Flip-Flop, Solidarity. Both only add 5% per tier from 40% to 50%.
I would still say that they should get rid of perk tiers since it will reduce the grind without altering the "bloodpoint economy" (by bloodpoint economy i mean how much bloodpoints people receive per match since if it is too high there will be an influx of powerful items and addons in rotation making the game unbalanced).
