  • I wouldn't say pop needs a buff tbh. It already shaves 20 seconds off a gen. A token system would make the perk as good if not better than ruin (more consistent, some games ruin gets cleansed in 30 seconds). When it's on a timer, the killer has to choose whether the killer should stay near the hook, chase a survivor or kick a gen and remove 20 seconds of progress.

And just like @Peanits already mentioned, it would be extremely frustrating if the killer had saved up tokens and kicked the same gen multiple times.

  • @Peanits So sometime this week... I bet it's not on Monday!

  • It's just like BT, you can't go down if you are in the injured state and get hit by anything.

  • You should never be withing 16 meters of the hook unless there is another survivor within those 16 meters. Unnecessary change that will only help campers stay on the edge like @MegsAreEvil already said.

  • Flashlights don't make you deaf, you can still follow survivors when you are blind. Survivors leave scratch marks as well which you can follow to find the survivor and if there are no scratch marks they are obviously really close and you can probably find them in 10 seconds. For flashlight saves you can just face a wall and if there is no wall then try to bait out the flashlight person or slug the survivor if you are paranoid.

  • @PinkEricka If you go into the Balance Feedback forum right now there are literally more threads about nerfing things on the killers side than survivors so stop complaining.

  • @PinkEricka "all you gotta do is just cleanse the totems"

I don't have a problem with NOED but I know other survivors do and saying "just cleanse the totems" isn't really a viable counter in every map. Some maps like swamp and Lery's have a lot of totem spots and it will be near impossible to check every one of them, especially if the killer is good and you can barely get the gens done in the first place.

  • Probably leatherface with the speed limiter since you know, they are the same addon.

  • @MegsAreEvil This would increase queue times for unfortunate people who are in the same lobby as the dodger. There are going to be people who will never want to go against moris/black wards and will dc every time they see that offering

  • I don't want to participate in matches where there are less than 4 survivors. Makes the game much more killer favored. Especially when playing solo q.

  • I wouldn't call Plague a top tier killer. She still gets looped hard if the survivors don't cleanse. Clown isn't low tier either, you can't loop him efficiently since you get slowed in the gas.

  • What the heck is going on??!! Give meh back the old one!!

    jk

idk lets see what people think in a week

  • Simply ban evading. Nothing more.

  • @Peanits How about we delete the ability of opening the hatch with the key and also remove ebony and ivory moris from the game (or at least rework them). Both give a huge unfair advantage that shouldn't exist on either side.

  • I'll never stop bullying legion mains until legion gets a rework that will give him counterplay.

  • Imo Clementine wouldn't be a good fit, I'd say maybe Lee or even Kenny would fit into the game better.

  • You need to chase them more pepega

  • Someone snatched your key.

  • @jackmadrox What do you suppose would happen after you as a killer close the hatch? Would the survivor start working on gens? No. Would the survivor let you kill them? No. Would the survivor hide for as long as possible making the game last for excruciatingly long until you finally find them and realize what a stupid move it was to close the hatch? Yes.

  • Facecamp the first person you hook so they can't get hit more than twice. No other counter to it.

  • @Delfador said:

@PolarBear It is not ez pz lemon squeezy.

I don't know why but the guy who is not getting slugged gets 'salty' and becomes full ninja mode, if the killer does something like that, the other survivor doesn't do a generator.

I personally had that issue as a slugged person and I was getting grabbed over and over and over again, the other survivor wouldn't do anything. Working with the killer is a banable offense and since I don't dc frequently I thought DCing was the better option than selling my teammate.

That situation went like 10 minutes and because of the drop and pick up, my slug bar wasn't moving at all as well.

Well that's the 4th survivors fault for not taking advantage of the situation, not yours. The sad truth is that most survivors don't know what to do in those kinds of situations and allow the killer to 4k.

  • @thesuicidefox said:

@SpaceCoconut I think you do need a break from this game dude. Not to be a dbag, but you have been getting really salty lately.

Is it dumb? Yes. Is it an exploit? Not really. Some killers will slug a survivor for the full 4 minutes to get the 4k which is super lame to deal with. I personally will slug but not camp the slug at all, make an effort to find the last guy for about a minute, and if the slug is still there I just take the hook and risk the hatch. Sometimes they get hatch, most of the time I actually catch them first. Short of it is, that you don't need to be greedy for a 4k every game. If you really want that other survivor, or you need the 4k to pip that's one thing, but if you had a solid game and will definitely pip then there really is no need to drag out the game like that.

Like I keep telling you play survivor.

You complain a lot about killer issues but don't seem to understand survivor issues at all. Trust me you will see why survivors DC when you get a game where the killer slugs you for 3 minutes, then drop resets you and follows you around until they find the other guy too. The game will go on for 30 minutes when you just want to be killed to move on. You really need to play survivor to gain this sort of perspective.

If the killer resets and drops you just go on a gen. They can't keep you off the gen and try to find the 4th guy at the same time. If they keep grabbing you/ smacking you down the 4th survivor can go work on another gen. ez pz lemon squeezy

you guys still dont get it...

when you perform a "SAFE unhook", means the surv unhooked must NOT receive a hit after 5 secs, them Deliverance should be enabled

if you troll-unhook right after being hooked, the killer hits the surv and u get no Deliv

Deliverance is still bugged even after I did a safe unhook and the perk was lit up meaning it was active so no that is not the problem.

Actually body blocking is underneath "griefing", survivors can not make killers move, however, killers can make survivors move thus making killer basement blocking bannable.

But the killer isn't holding the match hostage. The survivors can still repair generators. It's basically just the same as camping.

Yes, it's a dick move but not bannable.

  • Why is everyone trying to get attention with these ######### "Ugh, I'm quitting the game" threads? Just leave the game nobody gives a damn if you play it or not.

  • The devs ask for feedback and the community is giving it to them. Sure some people could be a bit more respectful towards them but at least they are sharing their thoughts.

Ideally your rank is not your reward, but rather to gauge your level of skill and match you with other people of your skill level. You should eventually hit the rank that you're comfortable in and then have a hard time ranking up past that. With that said, the emblem system is still being tweaked and adjusted and any odd edge cases should hopefully be ironed out.

But currently the killer can decide if you rank up or not. If you get chased the whole match, even if you escape you don't rank up. If the killer camps hooks then survivors won't get altruism or chaser thus they won't rank up. The best way currently to rank up is do gens and avoid chases, this way you can get 2 guaranteed iridescent emblems (Lightbringer, Unbroken) and try and get a few unhooks just enough to rank up.

Why should the deciding factor of ranking up rely on the most unskillful action of holding a button for 80 seconds?

  • How about instead of nerfing the good, viable killer we instead buff the weaker killers to bring them in line with the good killers. This way you would see more variation of killer in high ranks as well.

Only nerf nurse really needs is her addons. She does not need another chain blink nor does she need more distance with her blinks. Removing/reworking those addons would be a better idea than nerfing her base power.

  • It is as powerful if you are facing an m1 killer. Otherwise it's a dead perk, unless you want to go out of your way to bodyblock the killer 3 times.

Yeah, people never spent BPs. I have this Perk teachable, and many others will also have saved 1 Million BPs.

And if you would actually read - the number of Ashs was quite low. I think I played like 15 games yesterday evening and only two had a Ash in it.

(I mean, you can continue crying, if you like. If it lets you feel better...why not?)

The release of Ash was on quite a short notice so many people (including me) probably hadn't had time to save up since they might still be leveling Plague and Jane.

I can see survivor mains who would rather play with a character that has all perks unlocked and grind bp with that survivor rather than use Ash and the few perks those people have unlocked on him.

  • It compares to old ds when facing off against m1 killers. Otherwise it's pretty meh imo.

  • This thread should be in Off Topic...

But I've heard Civilization is good.

Some attacks are not counting towards Mettle of Man, like a nurse's blink attack, for example.

Can we get some clarification on what is a basic attack? Are Michael's attacks while he is in tier 3 basic attacks? Is the Pig's ambush a basic attack?

  • The devs ask for feedback and that's what the community is giving them. MoM is a very strong perk against m1 killer who already have a hard time keeping up map pressure. All the top tier killers completely ignore MoM so it is just literally a nerf to already bad killers.

  • This would actually make a lot of sense. In a chase you waste the killers time to let others complete generators. Same applies here, you are wasting the killers time by struggling and should be compensated by getting points to the evader emblem.

  • @NuclearBurrito @Karl_Childers

Decisive strike is an anti tunnel perk, using it like I described is not what it was intended for. You can unhook another survivor for free without having to go on the hook/needing another player to come save you thus making the killer lose all map pressure they had up until that point.

  • If you are playing a killer without and ability that does damage to survivor you're gonna get your ass blasted by MoM. Doesn't make any sense to me to introduce a perk that only works against already weak killers that already barely have any map pressure.

  • @Blueberry said:

    I like it.

Either shorten the timer to 40 seconds or make it deactivate if any other survivor is downed aside from the one that was saved. Either of these would ensure it is ONLY for tunnelers of which it currently is not.

I'm fine with the 60 seconds time since I don't usually go after the same person. I've only had decisive activate once after the patch and that was after the gates were already open.

I don't think it's a good idea for it to deactivate when the killer does an action (down a survivor) since there will always be those hardcore tunnelers who will slug another person just to tunnel a specific survivor.

  • Just a nerf to m1 killers that are already bad at keeping pressure. Don't know what the game counts as a "basic attack" since it doesn't work with nurse blinks (someone told me it doesn't work with spirit coming out of phase either but unsure). It is possible to force MoM to activate on any killer by bodyblocking the killer while they are carrying a survivor but I wouldn't count on it.

  • Nice April fools prank.

  • If there aren't enough pallets on the map yet the game ignores pallet spawning restrictions and may spawn pallets very close to each other.

  • Why not have every perk change color whenever you tier it up? Why do some perks like Sprint burst only have green and purple color? Who decides which color they should be?

Additionally, BHVR has 5 different colors for rarities for items, offerings and addons but perks only have 3. If you're already going to have 2 different colors for tier 3 perks, why not bump it up to 3 and add ultra rare to it?

  • It's nearly impossible (for me at least) to find a game in red ranks as killer currently. Hopefully they are working on fixing matchmaking.

  • Both funny and relatable. Nice.

  • Why would there be perks specifically created to counter bodyblocking survivors? If you never want to be bodyblocked just use mad grit.

  • 20190324164220_1.jpg

    This is matchmaking btw

  • Why exactly? If you don't like it don't use it.

  • This is more just categorizing perks, not a tier list at least imo.

So someone going out of their way, to get hit, instead of doing work, 3 times, just to have one free shot later (one time use), to then be revealed when healed until they're downed, isnt balanced at all?

    FOH.

So Is dead hard op? Since you can activate it after one hit, multiple times a match, whenever you choose?

No one will go out of their way to get 3 hits. Everyone will most likely take 3 hits, especially loopers that want to be chased. They don't care about their aura being read since they want the killer to chase them.

We don't know how the perk works yet but assuming when the killer hits a survivor they get the weapon wipe animation and the survivor gets the speed burst then yeah, this perk will be op.

If you've every played at red ranks you know how long a good looper can hold a chase. This is just gonna be new ds since it extends the chase even further, this will be even better than ds because it literally has no counter unless you are playing billy.

I don't think people will stop dc'ing whatever punishment you give them. They dc because many reasons but the core reason is they're not having fun.

What makes you think the fear of being banned will make them play a game in which they're not having fun?

They'll just wait to get banned or stop playing.

They need to fix whatever issues the game has that is making them DC. That's the only solution.

Since you can always just suicide on the hook disconnecting really shouldn't ever happen unless it's a technical problem/harassment/griefing (or any other reason except "the game isn't fun")

There will always be someone immature disconnecting because they don't like to play against X killer for X reason.
