The only thing I think nurse needs is an addon rework. The additional blinks and range adds way too much for what they are. You can get an extra blink through a Brown addon.
-
It feels good when I unhook myself and my character doesn't stutter :)
-
It also seems a lot faster since when a billy starts revving he doesn't instantly have his hands in the air which takes at least half a second so it seems faster since it barely takes any time at all to charge after the billy has his hands in the air.
-
Pig's dash is fine as is. Only thing she needs is less rng on the RBTs and incentive to dash survivors working on gens rather than just try to go for a grab.
-
If survivors keep flocking to the hook take advantage and proxy camp the hook.
-
Good survivors already 99% gates to play around bloodwarden before EGC was introduced. If you want to start the EGC just open the gate yourself.
-
@Peanits If you're hooked and a killer is camping you, you should receive chaser points as you're essentially wasting the killers time just like you would be in a chase.
-
@Meme You could already see a few glimpses of freddy in the stream announcement video. It looks like his power will now have a power gauge and survivors will now be able to see freddy even when not in dream world so freddy can now possibly hit survivors without having to put the survivor asleep first.
-
@not_Queen I liked Soon™ more :(
-
@NoShinyPony DS should deactivate in 2 scenarios, if another player is hooked or if there are no other survivors left in the trial. In both scenarios it works like old ds and just punished killer for doing their job.
-
Your team failed to do gens and you failed to find the hatch. Of course the killer is gonna have an edge in that situation it's a game designed to be a 4v1 and 3 players are dead on the other team.
The new hatch mechanics in fact hurt good killers who can kill survivors before they even get to do 2 gens since hatch now always spawns and they can't do anything about that.
-
How about we don't change the game so drastically that it becomes a different game entirely. Like the person above me said, it seems like dbd isn't a game for you.
-
This isn't a bad idea, tweak the numbers a bit and you've got yourself a perk.
-
Can't use something you don't have a license for :P
-
@T0xicTyler I wouldn't want a battle pass mainly because we already pay for dlc (or buy it with shards now) so adding more things to pay for isn't really something I'm interested in. If I am interested in a cosmetic I would rather buy it straight out of the store rather than buy a battle pass and grind for it.
-
It might have, I don't remember though since overcharge is used pretty rarely, if you could get some screenshots for this it would help.

No that's called exploiting the same as survivors getting on top of rocks etc to avoid getting downed. If it was something they intentionally put in the game to be used they'd have said hey this is ok now like looping.
You know kinda like how they've said survivors climbing onto rocks is an exploit and thus bannable if caught.

Kinda like how this is an exploit of terrain, which I'd been screwing around during this match to see how someone got up here in a different game. I already forwarded this to the devs attention months ago and I'm pretty sure it's been patched.
You could get to the very front of this and if you had Insidious camp it like a champ because no one would look up to see if killer is camping there.
@powerbats tbh if the survivor can't see the killer standing ON TOP OF THE HOOK then they deserve to get downed. This is definitely not intended since it isn't really useful but being on top of pallets on an invisible ledge is definitely an exploit.

Iron Will is already a really powerful perk and it not working against Plague really isn't a reason to not use it. Buffing Iron Will to work against vomiting further gives reason for people to not cleanse at fountains which people already don't.
-
This could be done before as well if the survivors hadn't done done 2 gens so why is it a problem now?
-
In this scenario, you can bodyblock the hatch opening prompt by standing in front of the hatch (not on top of it).
-
We don't know what they will use the data for yet so don't waste energy complaining about something that might not even happen.
-
It was before but now that mend doesn't go down in TR it isn't a big deal. @se05239
-
@NeaJovovich In which world does the killer control the trial? If it's a skilled set of survivors and you aren't playing Nurse you have no chance.
-
What if the survivor has unbreakable?
-
Hit them when they run past you and hit them again when they try to exit. Not that difficult.
-
Getting more bp isn't an ideal solution, rather reduce the grind in other ways like more perks in a single bloodweb etc.
-
(I'm not advocating for nerfing ruin btw)
@Shad03 How would one not be able to nerf ruin? You can modify values, skillcheck size, how often skillchecks appear, etc. Ruin would be pretty easy to nerf if BHVR decided to do so.
-
It's better this way for the long run. 1 perk to counter any and all stun perks now and in the future really limits game design.
-
I posted this same argument a while ago when DS got changed and I also proposed a fix. DS deactivates if you do altruistic actions.
-
I'd probably be fine with MoM if there was an actual downside to it. Survivors already use OoO and reveal their aura to the killer and most of the time the downside doesn't even matter since it goes away once you go to the dying state. Furthermore the perk only punishes already weak killers. It has little to no effect on some stronger killers like Nurse, Hillbilly and Huntress.

Borrowed Time: Now only works 6 times.
-
@HavelmomDaS1 Range addons do change juking potential, imagine a blink that would take 1 second to charge suddenly takes only .5 seconds to charge. Makes it considerably more difficult to predict where the nurse is going to land. Furthermore, nurse is one of the best in having map pressure only overshadowed by Hillbilly and in some cases Spirit so she does not require more map pressure.
-
The perk is not consistent enough for use. The hitbox is too small so you won't have enough time to react due to latency, the stun happens after the animation and because the stun happens so late it leaves you vulnerable for grabs and hits.

MoM is no more "broken" or "unfair" than BBQC is. It can be countered in a very similar way.
People who say "MoM has no counter" are blatantly ignoring the undeniable fact that it can very simply be countered by downing them without letting them escape to heal. AND THAT'S IT!
The only real problem with MoM is Killers who cant do that ^ I mean come on people, hit them and don't let them escape to heal. It's how MoM works, they get hit, they escape (and in doing so EARN one MoM pip) they heal and repeat the process twice more to activate it so that the next time they're hit they have 1 more hit to down (which is also countered by just continuing the chase and hitting them again)
Anything after that is just general Killer house keeping.
First stage in the denial (or counter) of MoM:
- Down them by hitting them twice (or once if your a M2 Killer) without letting them escape to heal
Second stage in the denial (or counter) of MoM: General Killer House Keeping:
- Hook them and don't let them get rescued
- Don't let body blockers deny your hook
- If you cant make it to the hook, drop them and make it un-safe for any rescue attempts by patrolling the area
- Once sacrificed you've fully denied the 3 escapes to mend survivors are required to earn before getting their reward of 1 EXTRA HIT
Once they activate MoM and get their extra hit which again they EARNED by escaping your grasp to heal three times that's it! they can't mend again or their totally screwed by the 100% permanent aura reading debuff that makes them visible to the Killer till the Killer decides to go put them on a hook.
At that point the process resets and again all you have to do if they're rescued from the hook is don't let them escape and mend so they don't earn the first of 3 pips.
If the Survivor is god level proactive stealth skills they can use MoM a lot more than the 2 possible times it can be activated in a match. I've never been able to get it to work more than once in a match without dying so really in that respect DH is SO much more OP than MoM ever was.
Idk if you're uninformed or just blatantly lying but even if you go down and get hooked, you keep the hits you've got for MoM so if you are playing against an m1 killer, as long as you don't get camped you will get MoM to activate so it literally has no counter. It is just an insta heal in the form of a perk.
-
At least you get to kill your survivors...
-
If you also want to contribute to the team without getting a high lightbringer emblem, you can hunt for totems and deny noed. Sabotaging hooks also doesn't reward any points in any emblem as far as I'm aware so do that as well.
-
It should refund the offering, if it doesn't it's a bug.
-
Yeah, I've given up on playing most m1 killers just because of mettle. I suggest you do the same unless you want to facecamp every game there is an obsession.
-
Maskless hag is just bald.
Also, what's the killer on the middle spot on tht bottom row?
-
@ReikoMori The stun area is the size of the locker so I wouldn't say a wide area stun. Killers can also still hit the survivor or even grab them before the stun while the survivor is exiting the locker. Like @Kagrenac already said you will probably only get 1 stun each match.
-
These are some really interesting ideas. Keep 'em coming dude!
-
@Guiltron Shame, well at least the killer can close it right after if someone else tries to jump in.
-
Or the dc problem gets fixed and then it won't be a problem.
-
You can get it to activate on most killers, even plague or legion if you have decisive strike.
-
@Dwight_Confusion The downside only happens if you let them go after you hit them and activate MoM. Why would you want to let them go in that situation? There is no downside to the perk. I've only twice seen survivors with the MoM aura and I was so confused since it happens so rarely, I wasn't accustomed to the aura..
It's annoying, uncounterable and unfair. It is not fine.
-
@Dwight_Confusion How is it fine that a killer can 1 hook every survivor and kill them after they've been unhooked?
-
@Visionmaker I can already see the same comments that were on the Ash announcement video... "Quick! Act surprised!"
-
I can't tell if this is genuine or the op tried to make a joke
