Not really sure if a "Survivor Main" but Pain Reliever has flown under most radars and makes solid content.

So folks, does anyone have any new strategies or plays for the new Legion, because I have a few.
I'll start with my: Autohaven Wreckers Gas Haven Hell.
Perks needed: Insidious
You start the trial as normal while keeping an eye on the Gas Heaven garage generator. If you notice a lot of focus on the generator then run in and use Feral Frenzy to chase everyone out. Then simply hide behind the truck with Insidious. Wait until you hear repair sounds and then quickly run around the right side and stab the survivor while quickly moon walking to the door then end Feral Frenzy. Ideally, this will end with you having cornered a survivor in the garage and in a prime position to be downed.
My only other idea is the L-Wall T-Wall Lockdown.
Perks needed: Bamboozle
Chase a survivor to an L-Wall T-Wall. Use Feral Frenzy to apply Deep Wounds and weaken them while also vaulting a window. Then mind game the survivor so that they have to run back to the center of the structure. Now that one window should still be blocked and you should be close they are forced to go to the window you didn't vault. This should put you in the position for an easy M1 Stab and down.
Does anyone else have any strategies?

@Dr_Trauts Don't achievements have dates on them once you've gotten them? You can still use the date to show just how hard you had to work for that one.
-
If you want to slow down generator repairs the only killers that come to mind are Doctor, Legion, and Freddy, also Pig but she's not getting a whole lot of love from BHVR right now so maybe don't play her.
The Doctor can force survivors to "Snap Out of It", Legion can make multiple survivors need to "Mend" which keeps them off of generators, (with Thanataphobia it's decent.) Freddy slows down all actions while they are in the dream world and forces regression to wake up. Lastly, the Pig forces survivors to stop repairs and search for boxes which may or may not give them the trap key on the first box.
The best build I had to stop gen-rushing was Surveillance, Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher, and something else on Legion as Killer Instinct and Feral Frenzy help keep Thanatophobia active.

Yeah it's pretty much up to the devs to change that. Having the ability to run a speed perk would help. Or two offerings like starting survivors separated and a Mori would be nice...
@DBD_Pinhead You actually don't want survivors to split. Up as that let's them do 3 gens while you chase 1 person.

The Hex scares me, is that why you started doing
*Peasant will remember that
@Hoodedfengm1n They have nothing to do with each other. I'm just a spiteful person who will drag everyone down with me if I go down.

Here's what I'd have, probably.
Bells and Whistles
"I'm not stupid, you know."
Using great ingenuity you have trapped your hooks. All unhook actions are 50% slower and you receive a noise notification once a survivor gets within an 8 radius of a hooked survivor.
Procrastinated Punishment
"Wait it's that time already?!"
As soon as the collapse timer starts you gain a permanent 10% boost to your movement speed.
Hex: Damnation
"IF I AM GOING DOWN I'M TAKING YOU ALL WITH ME!"
As soon the collapse timer starts both exit gates and the hatch are blocked with either walls of fire or Entity spikes. The timer will always be in the slower countdown phase while this perk is active. The perk remains active until the hex totem is cleansed. (The perk works like NOED. If you cleanse all of the totems then there's no problem. Also you have 5 minutes to find and cleanse the hex totem so it's not that bad.) (Also you cannot see the hex totem's aura.)
-
My perks:
Procrastinator
"I need more time!"
You complete all actions 50% slower. Once the channel is 50% full you gain a 70% action speed bonus (basically just 20%) and skill check trigger odds are increased by 50%.
Slow and Steady
"Nice and Easy"
You move 50% slower across all movement actions but are silent during these actions.
Nexus Ward
"I've got your back!"
At the start of the trial this perk is deactivated. After you are adjacent to another survivor you can press the action key to ward them at which point the perk activates.
While the perk is active any time your ally would've taken damage you take damage instead. This effect persists until you enter the dying state. Once you enter the dying state the perk deactivates and your formerly warded ally will take damage again. After you re-enter the injured or healthy state again you can reactivate the perk (while adjacent to another survivor and after you press the action key).
Gain 100% more Bloodpoints in the Altruism Category.
The ward effect from your perk does not stack and can only be applied to one survivor at any given time.
-
I actually want to make killers scary again so since nothing else seems to work I will go for cheeky jump scares with Insidious.

Music to my ears. Legion being nerfed to the bottom of the sewer is the best thing. You done good devs.
Once again, more emotion and no logic. Give a reason for hating Legion. We have a bin out back full of them!

@Shad03 So BHVR actually lied to our faces. Missing a Frenzy stab does stun Legion AND completely drain the whole power bar. I'm working on getting a video but alas, a connection error:

Waaaait what? Are you beeing serious with the coldwind farms? Are they all solid now? Not transparent at all anymore? No advantage for survivors?
@HavelmomDaS1 "Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination. . ."

@The_Bogeyman Hey, can you offer any constructive criticism about the old Legion or at least make it look like you didn't just sneak aboard the band wagon?
I've seen all of your posts and it's just the same "LeGiOn NeRfEd GoOd JoB dEvS1"
There's a mountain of things to pick on, just take one and run with it. Put in some effort.

@Peasant I have a question, what happens when they left you a killer to listen to his music and then you go to the menu of the survivors or to the main menu?
(I ask this because im in ps4 and i cant play the ptb )
@Walker_of_the_fog_96 If you were to choose the Clown and the back out to the main menu you actually go back to the default (or current?) menu theme.
-
-
So something subtle I noticed was that when you select: The Clown, The Spirit, The Legion, and/or The Plague, that character's theme music plays instead of the default "Killer Theme" music.

I'm just imagining how fast the exit gates will open if someone with Leader is standing nearby.
Nah man, I care about the Spine Chill, Wake Up, Leader guy.

I mean on the bright side we're not alone on the trash tier as they turned Amanda into bacon.
-
@Andreyu44 I keep trying to wrap my head around the Remember Me nerf and I just can't figure it out.
The perk only applies it's effect before the timer even starts, doesn't it? Even if it didn't the timer slows down while survivors are downed or hooked which would make the longer exit gate opening time negligible. Besides, the whole perk is luck based on you seeing your Obsession, which might never even happen!
-
If anyone listens to music while they play DBD I have the Legion's newest mixtape:

So have you guys seen the changes. All I'm gonna say is hoo, boy.

@Delfador said:
Decreased movement speed + vault nerfs literally destroyed the legion. Good job
I'm sorry, who's movement speed was reduced? I thought we were told Legion was joining the 115% 4.6 m/s club.
-
@Kagrenac I'll release the changes in a few hours if nobody else does.
-
I would say that objectively Spirit is the stronger killer. Granted, there is a learning curve. However, as a Spirit you can quickly chase survivors while unseen to get hits more reliably as you're harder to predict.
-
@PunL The trends come in phases. For the longest time survivors had an unfair advantage in game balance. To be honest the game still is leaning towards them in the balance department. However, over the years killers have been gaining power due to balance and it's going to some people's heads.
I've seen people complain about flashlights post-Howling grounds as just a simple example.
-
@artist @KillermainBTWm8 The killer movement speed being increased is to help balance out the potential situation of everyone always knowing where the killer is.

"As a balance change for the killers, all killers will get a flat speed bonus of 5% to base movement speed. So most killers will have a base speed of 120% or 4.8 m/s. The 110% killers will now move at 115% or 4.8 m/s."
@KillermainBTWm8 You've quoted me, now what?
-
@Bbbrian2013 Here's the thing:
Right now, if killers were buffed to be able to counter SWF they would CRUSH solo survivor players. So in order to actually be able to buff killers we need to buff solo survivors first.
First, we level the survivor playing field so that survivors have a consistent power level. Then we can buff killers to match or surpass that level.

I spent over an hour adding all the perks one by one, so it's definitely possible. Add-ons might be a bit ambitious, though. That's ~20 per killer alone.
@Peanits Wait, you did the perks all by yourself?! Somebody give this person a raise!
-
How DARE you? Insidious is a perk I use for jump scares across all killers.
