It's an extra generator of time in order to disable a perk so powerful it can turn the tide of the game completely.
Killer mains think its balanced yet cry about much weaker survivor perks 😂
An extra generator only if there's a single survivor breaking every totem while nobody else does anything. Otherwise, it's an extra generator at the same time as all the other generators, which is irrelevant.
Break the totems.
-
Break the totems. It's the best way.
-
They know. That's why they do it. They're being #########.
-
Is the trial over? Then GG. One exception was when I realized afterward that I was up against newbies (rank 15s).
-
BHVR has been "killing their own game" for the past three years, according to people such as yourself. It's amazing that the game has thrived despite BHVR's relentless attempts to kill it.
-
It was obviously a bug.
-
I don't think the devs would touch this idea with a lightyear pole.
-
The extensive lore and how it's woven so deeply into game mechanics that you could literally just read the lore and figure out a bunch of crap about the mechanics.
-
I think she's fun to play, but ultimately fairly weak.

People usually use their favorite killer/survivor as their profile picture, which is the reason I have Spirit as mine.
If I was any good at Nurse I would use her but ya know, console Nurse = the worst time of your life.
You'd be surprised. I'm not saying you guys are a minority, but it's definitely not as clear-cut as you make it out to be.
-
It's exactly to avoid stacking Sprint Burst or whatever on top of a 3-second stun, thereby giving you such a massive head start that the killer might as well let you go.

I've noticed that very recently with pallets even moreso when they nerfed them last year. During (2) matches yesterday, I was being chased by The Pig so I wanted to pallet stun her because I didn't have enough space to loop her. I was already injured but as I stood there to drop the pallet, it seemed like my character dropped the pallet slowly and of course I was hit through the pallet.
During another match, I was running through the pallet while spamming the interact button and it took my character forever just to drop the damn thing and I literally had enough room to drop the pallet without getting hit. Again, I was hit through the pallet anyway.
Pallets are trash and you can only get lucky to stun the killer with them most times.
Don't get greedy for the stuns, drop them earlier. If they are bugged, you'll at least avoid the bug.

They need to remove enduring hard countering it and DS, it makes both the perks useless and more dangerous to use.
High-risk, high-reward. Why should Enduring, the anti-stun perk, be gutted?
-
Survivors have used pallets just fine against me when I play killer. Maybe it's latency?
-
We already had this thanks to a bug. Fun times.
-
That seems fine. I think such a thing should be added for all perks that have an associated range, TBH.
-
Nearly two thousand hours of playtime for €20, and you expect a refund? This is like going to an all-you-can-eat buffet, living there for a month, and then saying that the food wasn't as good as you wanted it to be, so you're not paying.

I DC when a killer is tunneling or body camping. He shouldn’t get points for being a [bad word]
"I DC when the killer uses tactics that work against me. Killers shouldn't be able to use tactics that are actually significant."

True but how much of a snowflake do you have to be to actually be insulted by that?
To be insulted by an insult? I'm guessing zero, since any insult is, by definition, insulting. The similar names are not coincidental.

@ShrekIsHotwatch out I got a warning for calling killers babies as a joke!
Just because you put "JK, LOL" at the end of an insult doesn't make it less insulting.
-
Repeatedly breaking the rules. That's the only real requirement, and everything else is just people who can't own up to the fact that they (or the people they like) did it.

It might be sumerian or akkadian, the both languages spoken in Babylon. I also found a good dictionary extracted from a book. The Plague also speaks that when you have the corrupt purge on. It's one of those quiet things she says. I also read there are some parts of the babylonian Epic of Creation which are similar to what she speaks. If the "asar ku me" I heard is correct, we could say the Plague believes in Osiris, the God of the agriculture in Egypt cuz "Asar" is how the Babylonians called Osiris. Therefore, asar could be "where" too. So, looking for the best meaning is required. This is the link of the dictionary I used. If you type "Sumerian Dictionary" on Google, you can also find more ones.

It's definitely Sumerian, at least going by the gold tablet in the temple. I'll help you translate during this weekend.

The Entity is lying through Her noise hole. Rin's father is probably long dead and buried.
-
It was in the mid 20s, but I'm not sure how much. They were from my country.
-
Between those two? Pools no longer heal.
-
Vomit on survivors until Broken, down, hook, find someone else. Take Corrupted Purge from fountains near repaired generators if not currently chasing anyone, or from whatever's nearest if I am chasing someone. I also vomit on generators if I pass by them, as it requires about 5 seconds and usually buys me 30. If they start repairing, at least I know where they are.

Probably not many players in Russia.

But I can’t afford to get the new ds:(
Which isn't a reason for giving you a free escape in the event that the other survivors play stupidly and unhook you in front of the killer.

@Orion @The_Crusader @HeroLives @NoShinyPony Guys just stop arguing. Perk isn't out yet. You are all theory crafting. No one can say how this perk will affect the game.
@Peanits Would you mind just closing this thread for me? I'm sick of seeing +10 notifications in my inbox every hour. TY
Not theory crafting, we all know how the Obsession mechanic works.

Never mind.

Wow. Nurse? I just assumed you played Nurse quite a bit due to your profile picture.
Why? I don't get that logic. I have a wallpaper on my computer that's a character from Overwatch, even though I've never touched the game. Pictures are just pictures.
-
Just make sure not to charge too little. I think anything under 1/8 will just make her swallow it.
-
I thought everyone knew that. People were simply charging to 100% in the PTB because there was no speed reduction.

@orion so if someone is running mom and is the chosen obsession and someone is running stbfl it changes nothing? Also the obsessions change now upon use so you can ultimately go for the guy using it if someone else has it and it is triggered right? Meaning you could still get your tokens right?
Indeed, it changes nothing.

@HeroLives said:

It’s a just a question, does it change how stbfl already works now?
Some survivor obsession perks increase the probability that you become the obsession. That's all.
-
Nope.
-
@HeroLives said:
@orion what’s the difference between stbfl hand picking an obsession for you, and someone bringing mom, and getting picked by preselects one?
I don't get it, what's the point of this question?
-
@The_Crusader said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/379540#Comment_379540
Well still it's 75%
STBFL even at 8 tokens you'd still lose 2 on the first hit and 2 on the second meaning your best counter to MoM would only be 20%.
75% reduction gives 0,75 seconds of stun. 75% recovery speed increase, which is what it is, gives 1,7 seconds of stun (i.e.: not even 50% reduction). There's an enormous difference, and everyone who plays this game would do well to learn the difference between speed and time.

You get the attack cooldown, they get the speed boost. It will probably buy you as much distance as a DS and allow the survivor to reach a new loop. That will be nice when they reach something like the abbatoir window.
Enduring helped with DS from the get go - didn't stop people complaining. Now the counter is a perk which needs 8 tokens to reduce the oenalty of this perk, bearing in mind when you hit the obsession you're going to lose tokens anyway. 2 hits on the first, 2 hits on the second. Thats at max. So best case scenario you have 4 tokens and only get a 20% cooldown. Bearing in mind Enduring gave you a 75% reduction against DS.
But tell me, if I bring STBFL wouldn't I be better off just ignoring the obsession altogether?
Guess what, thats how DS was. It made more sense to just ignore the obsession all game.
75% recovery speed increase, not 75% reduction.
-
It's not reportable nor punishable. Well, unless you're playing the killer, and then it's punishable.

And why do you think so? You mentioned billy at the end but billy can be looped for sure. His chainsaw is dodgeable unlike nurse. Maybe survivors can learn to actually play the game?
But how will they learn if they constantly DC and suicide on the hook?

She comes from babylon which is ancient so she is 99.99% speaking MOSTLY in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aramaic_language
I cannot translate it though as I do not know how to spell in this language to backwards translate it to english.
I also watched yt videos to confirm this and it sounds like her tongue. They say it is also the language of Jesus. Which makes sense cause babylon is mentioned in the christian/jewish bibles and possibly others.
She's speaking Sumerian, the first written language of the first civilization.

@HazeHound said:
Stop translating stuff. It is not meant to mean anything. There are reasons none of dbd characters speak in game and first one to do so doing it in long dead language.
Dingir is Sumerian for "God". Look it up. The Plague's speech is an easter egg.
-
According to forum threads, survivors are suiciding on hooks en masse. But sure, the killers are doing it.

Lockers are amazing, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. They're the ultimate hiding spot because nobody searches them.

She seems really hard. I get bullied everytime I play killer regardless, but when i played nurse it was ridiculous! Glad to see that there’s less to her than people say. She seems somewhat, approachable, now that you’ve said that.
The basic concept is straightforward, yes, but you can say that about any character in any game. It's all about the execution, and that takes practice. The Nurse has the highest skill ceiling out of any killer in the entire roster.

That’s right. Nurse is mainly muscle memory. If you run her with addons it makes it difficult to play her since you need to invest each time, correct?
I wouldn't know. The only add-on I use is Plaid Flannel, since I'm always out of practice with her. However, that does sound about right.
-
That's fine, but Nurse is still the strongest naked killer.
-
Nurse, duh.
