do we have the same brain?

Game is survivor sided, and yet they still cry to make it easier. I guess devs should implement press to win button.
Tell me you didn't read the post without telling me you didn't read the post.

Stop it
>:(
I can't be bitter and angry whenever I see your posts.
To answer your question
I don't intend on killing any survivors right now, I always relax when playing Trapper, and my day is going okay :)
-
How would you nerf it? Undying has already been nerfed, and Ruin is fine.
Tinkerer is the only problematic perk in that usual combo in my opinion.

I don't think that's it, even if I just walk same happens. Plus I have been playing for years and it was never like this
As far as I've noticed, blind time is the same. Maybe the audio was turned up, because I have noticed of late that it seems easier to track people through footsteps.
-
It's completely possible they just... Heard you.
You do still make noise.
-
I'll trade you Lery's and Hawkins for the constant amount of Badham I've been getting

What do you mean by "balancing" gens?
The OP might mean a recent interview (the one pinned, you've probably seen it) where one of the Dev's said they didn't want people pressured to run perks. Specifically in regards to regression perks.
So as always, some people have taken this as a sure sign they're going to nerf gens or something. Personally, I don't think it means anything. The dude just answered a question.
-
-
Is it because they have stacked perks and items and you don't? In which case, as far as I know, that has nothing to do with matchmaking.
-
They moved the killers to the right on the lobby screen for some reason. (as far as I can tell. It's especially apparent with Trickster, so maybe it's a bug on him or something.) You can still see him turn, he just winks off the screen.
I never got to see it :(
-
I haven't noticed any of the same survivors yet. Maybe because I don't play a Single killer for too long.
Still have the issue where my Survivors are either stacked SWF or literal babies to the game with no inbetween.
Like literally, since SBMM was introduced I've noticed the amount of people with less than 100 hours in my lobbies has skyrocketed. And it's not like I'm doing phenomenally bad or something, I'm getting consistent kills.
-
I can see Pop. I can see thinking Ruin is weak due to it's ability to he taken away.
I will never understand the sentiment that Tinkerer is weak.
I'll add one though.
I think PWYF should only lose tokens on hit.

The biggest jumpscare I've ever had in this game is walking around and getting a pallet slammed in my face when I didn't know a survivor was there.
As a former Wraith main, I relate to this so much.
The only time I'm afraid of Survivors is when they jumpscare me
-
If they get Sephiroth, he has to stab Meg through the chest in the trailer.
No faking this time.
-
Old Ruin did nothing but affect low ranks. Or grades, I guess.
High grades, where the regression is needed the most, survivors can hit the skill checks just fine. Or they'll tap like they used to. New Ruin is a lot stronger imo.
-
Nemesis, who I've started playing a lot and do pretty decent with - I get not great Survivors, usually pretty clearly Solo teams.
Pig, who I barely play and don't do fantastic with - 4500 hour SWF groups.
-
Kindred, good choice.
Camaraderie, in my experience, just leads to getting face-camped for 34 more seconds

No I'm not I'm simply saying in response to you saying many people have been worried about the longevity of the game well same happened in call of duty and SBMM was the cause right now is a huge reason to be concerned we've got a competitive system in an unbalanced game that's designed for casual but now the developers want to 180 into competitive now.
You can be concerned all you want, it doesn't matter. BHVR makes the decisions and they barely listen to anything aside from their stats. Unless the stats say SBMM is an issue, it will unfortunately stay.

Go tell the Call of Duty community that SBMM brought out the worst in the game and It's legit dead Fortnite removed SBMM due to getting flamed on twitter by their content creators and community the difference with Fortnite and Call of Duty is at least Fortnite learned their mistake before it was too late. Hiding MMR changes nothing MMR is designed to bring out the competitiveness in a person and always has been Behavior's system is designed the same as Call of Duty's and Fortnites.
I don't know why you're acting like I said SBMM was good. It isn't, I don't like it. All I said is that I've seen people say "This will kill the game" over every little change.
BHVR don't listen but right now they're the only popular game in the genre.

Only because it doesn't have any competition.
It's had competition and it's always, and unfortunately, failed.
This game is the king of the genre, and unless that VHS game is very good that won't change. Even then, I doubt it would change.

You can be worried about the longevity of something If the game is miserable for a decent amount of people with a mechanic we have literally no idea about coming into the game I think it's safe for people to be concerned boon totems will most certainly be a buff for Survivors meanwhile how long will gen speed adjustments take days? months? years? we don't know hence why I said people are worried.

To be fair, a ######### up matchmaker and poor balance are definitely game killers.
I've seen people say every other change would kill the game. It's incredibly hard to take this phrase seriously when I've seen it every other day for the best four years.
The game has problems, but I doubt it will die anytime soon. If it does, hey, I was wrong. It's had ######### up matchmaking and poor balance for years.
-
"-a lot of us are truly worried for the longevity of Dead By Daylight."
The number of times I've seen this sentence.
Yet this game is still kicking.
-
You're right, I had absolutely no idea this was a thing, so thank you!
I'm glad that cat put gloves on while prepping dinner, very safety conscious.

Pyramid Head. I feel like no matter who you put him against, it'll always be Pyramid Head. My man's the only Killer who actually tears open the entity's realm with his ability, ignores her hooks and straight up kills Survivors without an offering.
You're definitely right, Pyramid Head would definitely win, but Michael can kill Survivors too (albiet with an add-on)
-
I don't-
Like-
What?
-
From what little I know about RE lore... I think Nemesis would tear Oni in half. I love Oni, but the guy was human. He died. Nemesis seems nigh indestructible.
Unless this is based completely on DbD lore and only DbD lore, in which case, I don't know. Oni's certainly the better killer.
-
Get BHVR'ed
-
Just be a Chad and run mad grit every game.
-
If Pinheads wanna give half their build to this, I don't see why not. Pinhead can still only go after one single survivor.
-
Survivor offerings are not 'prioritized', it's just chance. It sucks, but you just got unlucky.
Unless they brought more than one map offering.
-
Damn, you got here before me.
-
I'm sure BHVR will take notice after your 6th or 7th post about this.

Didn't the blight series event end with the eternal blight? Im pretty sure were getting a new kind of halloween event this year.
We are, but if they ended without giving Oni a blighted skin, I will be sorely upset.
-
You no longer lose ranks when you de-pip. You can get to having no pips, and that's it. Once you reach a rank, called grades now, you stay there until the 13th or until you grade up
-
At this point, I have no idea really. Every single one I've gone against has been completely slaughtered, but I've also seen people play him very well.
Might be another Nurse case but to a much lesser extent. I never agreed with him being the worst killer in the game, just not very strong.
-
It looks interesting, but I doubt it will go anywhere.
No matter what they do, competitors will never be able to change the fact that DbD has an established following and licensed characters. That hurdle has already proven to be too hard to climb over for basically every competitor that has come out.
-
Licensed characters are up to interpretation, but lore wise it seems like the Entity can only take Survivors from the modern era, for some reason. It's their lore, they decide it I guess.
We don't know the exact time frame, but we do know that chapters take awhile to plan. At least from what some of the Devs have said, so we should be hopefully getting that LGBT survivor somewhat soon. Maybe, it could easily just be another false promise from BHVR.
As for everything else you said, there is a simple explanation. Female survivors are played more, and their cosmetics make more money. Cosmetics are BHVR's main source of income from the game, considering you can get a chapter for like four bucks on G2A or even less on sale. They pander to what makes money.
-
I thought you meant Pyramid Head tbh.
-
Depends if we do Michael as canon to the films, who seems nigh unstoppable.
Like that time he just straight up walks through a door, the whole getting shot and getting up.
As far as we know, when not in the Entity's realm, Trapper is just a normal guy. He's gigantic and ripped as hell, but so is Michael.

^ This, this is a low key problem nobody ever mentions. His teleport is ass. There have been times I've teleported to a person and been downstairs outside of the building, even though I KNOW I saw the notification pop up on the second floor....
Not to mention this games maps are ass. You can actually put his hooks under the map and grab people from underground in certain areas.......
Yeah, honestly I thought they would do something to his teleport. He isn't a 1v1 killer, and I totally understand that, but I feel like his teleport is a hinderance unless you aren't in chase or the surv is close enough you can get there and grab the box.
-
No, he's definitely weak.
Escaping from his chains is laughably easy, and I think a Pinhead has only ever gotten a hit from his chains twice with them in the now upwards of 10 games I've played against him.
I also find his Box incredibly easy to handle. Go to a safe loop, or even better an incline of some kind. Chances are if Pinhead teleports, he'll be on the outside of the loop or down a flight of stairs.

first off it is without a doubt an issue and they should do something about the imbalance of it. However I'm not even suggesting they "nerf" it. I just want to see whos in it. Optimistic me wants to think that the devs are afraid to do anything to it or its difficult to do anything to it. Thats why its taken so long. The skill gap difference between solo q and a swf is massive and time has made that worse.
How about you dont shame others for their interests and maybe I wouldnt be so abrasive in a conversation about that interest from the start.
I never shamed you for your interests, I have literally no idea what you're talking about. Unless your talking about my confusion for why you care so much, in which case it was never meant to come across as shaming. We literally play the same game, my dude.
It doesn't matter what you think, it doesn't matter what I think- It doesn't matter what anyone but BHVR thinks. Since they haven't changed SWF, even a little in the five years since they were added, I doubt they ever will. Especially at the glacial pace they balance at. And yes, it's incredibly difficult to do anything to SWF because for every sweaty, no fun SWF there are probably four or five SWF teams that don't play the game enough to be sweaty. And before you ask why I make that kind of assumption-
Only 16% of people who have ever owned the game on Steam reached rank 10. Most people play this game casually. This doesn't even involve console. It isn't fair to simply treat those people as if they belong with the sweaty, unfun SWF group. Does getting a sweaty SWF suck? Yes, 100%. Will it ever get changed? Probably not. It's clear we aren't going to agree on this, so I'll probably just stop now. If I came across as rude, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to- When I get into arguments it turns off the part of my brain that's meant to be polite.

We dont know what the devs think. why would you assume you do? I am purposing a simple change. We don't know that this change will increase swf que times into oblivion theres no proof for it. So test it
Because it's been five years, and SWF hasn't gotten any 'nerfs'? In fact, they literally made it easier to invite people to your own lobby? And they have literal SWF voice channels in their official Discord server? Why would they embrace it so much if they viewed it as a problem?

Coms on swf is not built in the game. stretch res is not built into this game. It is not a punishment to wait longer and theres no reason that behavior can't test this. They tested sbmm for the past year
I never said anything about comms or stretched res.
And yes, SWF's not getting to play the game because they dared to play with their friends is a punishment.
BHVR has no reason to test it if they don't view it as a problem. Which, judging by the fact that it's never been changed, they don't.
-
My solo games are leagues better. Sorry, Sluzzo.
-
I've had an exponential increase of being left on the first hook. Which is... Fun.
And end game camping, but that's more understandable.
