Imo, All-Seeing Blood, maybe Silent Bell, and you can just change Windstorm. He doesn't need them anymore.

No i have a good PC, it just doesn't register when you hit a lot of different walls and doors have a wide hit box for whatever reason for him and hell bash into air. Good luck at any indoor map
Oh, well, then... Yeah, I don't know. Blight isn't for everybody, that's all I can really say.

idk for me it just sounds like skill issue
Judging by the way the OP talks about Optimization and having trouble with Blight, I'd say they're probably from console or a lower-end PC.
So it sounds like a "BHVR not giving a ######### about a good chunk of their playerbase" issue instead of a skill one.
-
The one thing I would like is to see the Illusions on a very strict path. Maybe approach the Survivor and then disappear with Doc's little laugh. I just think it'd be really neat.

Wait, why are they reworking Mori's again? I thought they were in a good spot
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If I remember right, they said something about making both features basekit if something along the lines of that, I can't remember. As a reward for doing well in the match.
-
According to the 5th year stream, yes, sometime this year. Along with Mori's, again.
-
The only hex spawns I have a major problem with are the ones that spawn near gens.
I dislike the ones that spawn in the open, but I fully believe totems shouldn't spawn near gens. Especially Hex totems.

Then why would you add FPS-content? Because Shooting is FPS content and Huntress and Slinger shoot. So you should be able to fix your game so the FPS-Content will work (which doesen´t)
No, they aren't. I already said I agree that Huntresses hitbox is #########, but Slinger is barely an FPS mechanic. Slingers gun is basically a lasso. It doesn't harm when it hits, all it does is pull in.
If this game was an FPS it would matter where Slinger hits. But it doesn't. It would matter where Trickster or Huntress hits, but it doesn't.

Or the Hit registration?
Or the sudden appearance of double pallets?
Or the current gen speeds?
Or...
There are just to many issues right now. So it would be nice if OP was more specific.
It very well could be any of those. I'm putting my money on optimization since that's what I've seen "unplayable" with the most lately.
-
@Tsulan said:
Could you be more specific, please?
I think they're talking about optimization? Or the general solo queue/camping stuff.

Definitely makes sense. The game needs some green! Make the bars and the auras green whenever a character is doing something at double speed or whatever, lol.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2466260#Comment_2466260
Oh that makes so much more sense, it was the red gen repair that was partly responsible for screwing me up. I run Prove Thyself a lot so I see the bar go red quite frequently. I used to figure that red meant "bad" until I got used to the gen scenario. Your explanation makes sense. It's weird that the game sort of misleads you by saying "yeah, you're completing the gen faster, but your own individual gen repair speed is slowing down to match the new average".
Yeah, I was in the same boat for a long time when it came to the whole prove thyself thing lol. There is part of that wishes the red bar went away when stacking on a gen, but it's likely hard-coded of something.
-
@miketheratguy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2466241#Comment_2466241
Oh that's what's making it red? I see, thanks for that info. Here I was thinking that red was actually improving my progress, lol.
No problem! Here's another bit if info, actually.
If the progress bar is red, it is slowed down by something. Perks mostly. This also happens when two Survivors are working on the same gen, since your bar only tracks your own personal progress. The gen is being repaired faster, but your own progress is technically being slowed. By 15%, I think.
A yellow bar means your progress is being sped up, and the normal blue-grey means nothing is affecting it.
-
@miketheratguy said:
Forgive me for asking but sometimes my wiggle bar is red instead of the standard blue. I don't use any perks related to the mechanic, what's causing that?
The killer is using the perk Iron Grasp, which slows down wiggle progress and limits how much the wiggle affects the killers movements.

Plague is in desperate need of a rework as well. I agree
I don't think Plague needs a rework, her mechanics are fine. She's unique and she can he incredibly strong when played right. I just think she needs some minor buffs and QoL improvements- Mainly her puke being so infuriating imo.
-
If BHVR views this as a problem, all they'll do is change how the Box interacts with said perks.
I doubt they see it as a problem, but I could be wrong.

Underpowered and one of the least used Killer in game. If not the most. I mean do you play as the Twins? You're right about them being Unique. But honestly not that strong.
Plague is the least played killer in the game.
Twins are very strong if you play them right. There is no other killer in the game that slugs as well as they do.
-
Well, I mean, DbD isn't a FPS. Even the guy with an actual gun doesn't really operate like an FPS. There's no comparison to be made here.
And in general, most of the hitboxes are fine. Huntress hotboxes aside, of course. It's all just latency + BHVR's rash servers.

I could’ve sworn I read you had to gain maximum mutation 3 times. Now I’m wondering if I read it wrong 😂
Trust me, I read stuff wrong all the time. My eyes don't work. And I can see why you thought that, the way BHVR writes things sometimes.

At the end of the day, that's really up to you. If you wanna use NOED, use it.

Huh, that still seems pretty off. There was a pretty solid trend of having the majority of dailies achievable in a single game. I suppose you'll have to convince people to play Nemesis somehow (or cycle a new daily :P).
Yeah, just checked. In the PTB patch notes it says:
"Ritual of The Nemesis reduced to reaching maximum Mutation Rate one time (was 4)."
So, if they keep the changes, you'll be able to complete it one game.

Can't wait to have a teammate get downed for the first time in a match and then "forfeit" with no penalty
Or, gen pops a little faster than a killer would like. Immediate forfeit.

How come? If the open gates are open shouldn't it be like a gen?
Because it wouldn't make her stronger, it'd just make sure more annoying during EGC.
She'd still suffer at pressure and getting downs, all that changes is now she can secure kills super hard in EGC. It'd be a buff focused in the wrong area.
-
@Marik13 said:
I think it used to work that way, that survivors couldn't leave with a trap on their head at all and if they tried then they'd head pop. I'm guessing survivors complained and it got nerfed to how it works now.
It was changed when the EGC was introduced.
-
I would love for Pig to get some buffs.
This ain't it chief.

Imagine if OP played when LTs had a pallet as well. That would've been a juicy forum thread.
Unrelated, how the hell would that look? The tiles aren't connected in the least to hold a pallet.
-
LT walls are literally some of the easiest tiles to deal with in the game.

Agree to an extent that the Hex perks require up to a ten objective game for the Survivors. While Killers only have one unaffected objective.
I thought we were supposed to see some Survivor totems at some point? Would be nice to lets say, block all reveal mechanics until its destroyed or, block all exposed mechanics until destroyed.
I think overall the game is dying for more objectives and the Meta has gotten quite stale. I've been burnt out for a good month now and rarely play more than a couple matches a week.
The Survivor totems, called boon totems by the developers, were mentioned in the Anniversary/Resident Evil stream. The next survivor hasn't even come out since they were mentioned.
If I had to guess, considering there is the possibility of a Original survivor paragraph this mid-chapter, I wouldn't be surprised if they come with these new types of perks.

the reason they all look the exact same is because most of their recent perks have all been complaining about the exact same thing
I'm talking about most of the posts on these forums. Some of them are completely valid, like the ones about performance and bugs, but I can't bring myself to care about any posts complaining about balance anymore.
-
Here's a genuine question Sluzzy.
Why do you care so much? Do you really think it matters? Do you think anything you complain about is going to get changes because you did something?
Do you think these posts are going to do anything? Because they don't. Barely anybody takes you seriously enough to have actual conversations, and at the end of the day, this is just another, generic post on a website that more or less does barely anything to change the actual game.
Maybe it's just because of my rapidly worsening mental health, or my general apathy towards the game, but all your posts are just starting to look the exact same as most of the other posts on this website. I don't know. It's just tiring seeing you and everybody else post the exact same things.
-
IMO, just as unfun to go against as the old 'small pp' (god I hate that term) build survivors had.
Ruin and Undying are mostly fine imo, Tinkerer is a badly designed and problematic perk and nobody can change my mind.
-
Not directly correlated to DbD I guess, but kinda? Idk, shortly after I started playing DbD, I had a nightmare where I walked out of my backdoor and after a few seconds Michael Myers charged at me out of nowhere.
-
I believe the blood+scream is unintended, so it'll hopefully be fixed in the new chapter update.
-
Something tells me Boon totems won't be nearly this powerful. Keep in mind, there are four survivors.
-

Uncleansable (is that even a word?) Ruin wouldn´t be insanely oppressive. If it was the old Ruin, then sure, but the new one, has no effect while survivors hug gens. So... nope.
Why does it matter if it's a word? In the context of this game, yes, it is.
Yeah, sure, but after one or two survivors are dead against a mobile killer that can get across the map in a few seconds? Yes, it would be insanely opressive. Ruin is only as good as the killer that can apply it.
-

You´re kidding... right? Hex perks being powerful? All except Devour are mediocre at best.
Some are definitely mediocre.
If Ruin couldn't be cleansed, it would be insanely oppressive. The trap totems don't apply to this, because they're traps.
-
Steve.
Best boi must be prestiged.
-
Because they're incredibly powerful perks. If Devour Hope was just a regular perk, it'd be overpowered as hell. Same with Ruin. Some of them don't need to be hexes, like Blood Favour, but most earn their Hex imo.
They exist so killers can have powerful perks without them being overpowered.

This wasn't a question, I know the Gens are the objective. I can't make the question any more clear or simple. Do you play it to Gen Rush... is their nothing else in the game that's happening that makes it interesting to play, or are you solely focused on speed runs to see if you can break a new record. ?
What does 'gen rush' mean in this situation, because again, yes, if I'm not being chased or going for a save I am probably doing gen. Unless there is a perk like Devour Hope, looking for Totems just takes too much time.
-
Yes, I do gens as Survivor. Because that is my objective.
-
A lot of people have trouble against him. That's simply why. People don't really like what they have trouble against.

Wait, when did they say that?
I may be misremembering, but I'm 95% sure they advertised The Eternal Blight as the "last chapter in the Hallowed Blight saga", or something along the lines of that.
It makes sense, considering they were about.. Well, Blight. And he's out now.
-
Well, they said the last Blight event was the last one, so at the very least maybe we'll see some new lore or something. I've learned not to expect a new event, though.
-
Sometimes, I guess? Most of the time I don't really care. Hell, I might thank a Survivor for dropping a pallet way earlier than another survivor would of.
-
What stretched res saga? Are we talking about the subreddit now considering it cheating?
As far as I'm aware, there is nothing official going on in regards to stretched resolution. Unless the Devs have stayed something recently, and I didn't see it.
-
I'd make it so autodidact gives a higher chance of healing skillchecks.
-
I can handle playing against every single killer in this game, except one.
Hag.
I can have at least somewhat fun against every single killer aside from that terrible lore-having corpse. Any game against hags makes me want to jump into a bathtub full of tacks and legos, I can not stand playing against Hag god ######### that killer
