Could it possibly be Robbie the Rabbit skin for Legion? Just... Darkened artificially for some reason? I don't really know why they would do that, but I don't think this is Springtrap either, and I can't think of any other rabbit killers. Unless the original killer is like, the Easter bunny or some #########.
Or, maybe... It's just a cryptic photo and has nothing to do with the next killer. I don't know. The caption was about having a chat with any DbD character, right? It could just be them asking a quirky question to be quirky.
-
No, it is not. Unless they disabled it again in the 5 hours since I've played.

Here, this is the place. As you can see, all 4 survivors can fit there.
Yeah, that's... 100% the Survivors' fault. Why would all four survivors go into that hole? Especially with a killer standing at the entrance?
The game will end, and they put themselves in that situation. Even in a situation against Wraith, if all four Survivors go to that specific hole, it is their fault.
-
The game ends, and to get all four survivor's bodyblocked, it's kind of their vault. I can't say without seeing this video, but yes. It's fair, imo. There are only a few spots where all four survivors can get body blocked, and they would have to go there on their own.
-
Can't wait to see this topic discussed civilly.
-
The progress bar only shows your own buffs and debuffs. You, personally, get a debuff even if the gen is being repaired faster.
-
This is a well thought out idea, but it would be more suited for a new game. DbD is way too far into the games cycle to completely rework such a base system.

A First Person Survivor Offering. make it legendary ultra rare and it just fixes the camera inside the survivors head.
Would it be as easy at that? Survivors movement was made with third person in mind, or at least I assume so.
-
Don't you get tired of complaining about this? Most of the licensed killers have barely anything to do with their origins. Pyramid Head doesn't draw in the ground and shoot waves, Freddy has WAY more power in his Dreamworld. Demo doesn't place portals the same way he does in the show, so on and so forth.
There is always going to be limitations with licenses. Yet, people still want them-- Shown by now much people want Candyman and Xenomorph. Two characters who would be very hard to implement faithfully. Clearly, causal audiences- This games biggest demographic, doesn't care a huge amount about complete and utter faithfulness.
-
If by 'bad' you mean objective strength, Nurse definitely doesn't belong on the list, but it's your list so whatever. I don't think Freddy belongs there either, but Pig I can agree with.
-
When most people think of Until Dawn, they think of the Wendigo as a possible killer.
Personally, I don't care either way for Until Dawn so I can't really say anything about wanting it. What I can say is I have heavy doubts the license will ever seriously be considered, because it's Sony and Sony are notoriously protective of their licenses. They've been getting better, so maybe, but I doubt it.

I.. guess. I mean I think I can understand that reasoning, but.... none of the clothing are that tight nor is there... well you know what I'm trying to say.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Whenever this kind of question comes up in other games, the answer is always associated with clothing and making it more realistic. I have no idea, tbh. Maybe it's so they can have one model of Yui and just swap out the clothes, instead of making a bunch of different models with different outfits?
Yui is the only character I know of that has a model like that, so maybe they just decided to try it for a character, see how it worked? Then decided 'nah'? Or it's possible they continued this and got better at hiding the models, I don't know.

I was sitting on a gen at some distance where I could see (we played on blood lodge where you usally have a good view distance) one zombie walking in the area around the hook. So I waited a little bit for him to leave the area and did gens. After one zombie wasn't that close to hook anymore I went for the unhook, but there were still another zombie behind the rock literally 5 feet close to the hook who downed the rescued survivor.
There were no other survivors around for sure. I run bond and would have seen it.
What you, or your teammates, should have done in this situation is made a loud noise notification. It appears to me as either zombies just don't know what to do when they don't have somebody to walk towards, so they just patrol their same area with wonky pathfinding. A loud noise (should) make the zombies walk towards it.
I don't really know, though. I know they aren't supposed to face camp.

I'm still curious as to why they made that model.
Is sex coming to dbd?
I'm joking. But, seriously. Why?
From what I understand, it helps make designing clothes in a realistic way easier? I don't really know.
-
what is it with the forums lately with such horny questions?
No, I don't think so. Hag is already showing some nip, but I heavily doubt we would get any actual lower bits. And tbh, I don't really want it either. The closest I think we'll ever get is Spirit with her convenient bandages. Though, if I do remember right, Yui does have a nude model for exactly the reasons mentioned. It was a big thing when the chapter was first released.
-
I don't think Zombies are supposed to function like that. Did you make any loud noise? Sure, it attracts the killer. but it also attracts the zombies. They're supposed to go towards any loud noise.
So it sounds like he just got unlucky with their A.I. breaking.
-
I mean, in the right situations, Trickster can still down people insanely fast.
He sucks in every other single way, but my money is still on Trapper for the moment. Trapper has possibly the weakest early game in the entirety of DbD. If a Person walks into hag's web while she's setting up, she can still likely down that person (A good hag can, anyways).
Trapper on the other hand has to walk across the entire map to get his power, and hope that survivor's don't see him setting down his traps or just straight up see them while in chase, and avoid them. Basically nullifying Trapper's power.
Imo, a 110% killer with a power that is insane sometimes is better than a 115% with no power. Which is what Trapper is if good Survivors can predict his traps.

I can see where you’re coming from, but with the frequency at which I see it requested to have a “powerless” killer added, I’d guess something like this would appeal to them as it meets these players half way.
In a way, I suppose the Witch would be a really good killer to practice looping with. Good for new killer players to learn the basics before moving on to killers with more complicated powers.
-
As an avid STBFL user, give me Hex: Conniption and give it to me now.
Hex: Calamity is an interesting idea.
Hex: Conundrum would 100% be the most complained about killer perk if it were ever implemented. I could see Survivor Insta DCing if they entered the match exhausted and broken. Which I guess would make the perk useless unless the Obsession changed?
As for the actual killer, the power is well thought out imo, but I just don't know if many people would... Play her. I like the idea of a killer that has a map wide presence like the Witch would have, and her natural game delay (if she were using powerful Hex perks) is nice, but people like using their power. Having a killer with no power would possibly make her very boring to actually play.

His iridescent add-on allows traps to reset on their own, it doesn’t need to be base-kit. I agree he should have 3 traps as base-kit, but he also needs faster base setting speed.
He should also be immune from getting trapped in his own traps. Picking up traps should be faster, if not an automatic function where all he has to do is walk over an unset trap and it’ll automatically be added to his inventory.
I can see most of these, but I think walking through Traps should be an add-on, rather than just a base feature. That idea is a potentially very strong addition to his kit.
-
Because ######### Trapper.
-BHVR
-
Why do killers complain about Survivor?
The players are allowed to complain about whatever they want.
-
Hot Take: nobody should be able to use map offerings and they should be deleted.
Get rid of some of the clog in the bloodweb.
-
I mean, okay, yeah. In somee situations, SC is decent. But bringing a medkit is stronger and doesn't waste a perk slot.
The reason so many insist it's bad is because so many Survivors insist on healing themselves with perks like Sloppy, most often while the team is dying. I feel like everyone forgets about sloppy when talking about SC.

Well given how the Entity like . . . distorts reality within itself and stuff I don't see there NOT being a possibility of them.
I mean after all the entity thrives off of hope and fear. Who would be more fearful than his former bandmates? Plus they could always rewind back and say they've been taken before death. It doesn't say anywhere they weren't so. Loophole.
The entity would TOTALLY bring them back to suffer.
Oh, I totally agree. Or. more accurately, the Entity would probably distort Trickster's vision to be that of his former bandmates. Trickster seems a little bit like the jealous and narcissistic type, so seeing his old bandmates might motivate him to kill EXTRA hard.
Just like how it's theorized that Spirt sees her father with every Survivor, and Slinger sees the Warden.

Oh, I don't think you know how the realm of the Entity works. They're almost all already dead.
I do, actually. I've read a lot of the lore. One of the driving forces behind some of the bigger names of the game, Benedict Baker, Vigo, a lot of them are looking for a way out of the Entity. Hell, Vigo might have made the Hatch as a way to skew the trials. They aren't dead until they go into the Void and become husks.
NO-SPIN is dead. They died in the 'real world', or whatever. For original characters, we don't know if any of them died. Most of them disappeared. The Entity took Rin before she died. The only one we really know is Victor, who was dead.
-
I don't know if it would work, as NO-SPIN is all... Dead. Ji-Woon was the only survivor.
Other than that, I think it could definitely be neat. I'd love to have legendary skins of more lore characters in general.

Oh, Depp was fine, in my opinion. He just did not have the proper voice for the role. He should have been the Judge.
Hell, him and Rickman's duet of 'Pretty Women' was amazing together; their voices complimented each other well. The roles just should have been reversed, and would have been, if they were not banking on Depp's popularity from Pirates.
That's fair. If what the interviews said are true, Depp had never even sung before the movie, so either way-- Definite props to him.
More on topic, I definitely wouldn't mind some kind of Killer from either a musical or a play. Sweeney Todd would definitely be cool, just to get some Sondheim music in the game, but I'm not sure what kind of power they would make for him.
-
@Power_Guy said:

Oh god, not Depp Sweeny Todd. That musical was screwed up because the producers just HAD to bank on Depp's popularity.
If you listened to the proper stage play, Depp would have been a shoe-in for the Judge, due to his range, and Alan Rickman should have been Sweeny Todd.
Sorry, it just angers the musical lover in me that the whole thing was butchered because 'star power' put Depp in the wrong role. It's not even his fault.
Honestly, despite Depp's voice for Sweeney, I actually really enjoyed the film. I thought everybody else nailed it, the costumes were ######### awesome, the movie looked sufficiently grimy. I'm glad they went with practical effects for the kills and even the chair. Depp doesn't do a nearly bad enough job to make me dislike the movie.
It's leagues better than most musical adaptations, imo.

I, uh... Well, I'm a firm believer that if they really want to, BHVR can make anything work, but uh... DDLC might be where I think they couldn't.
These two are literal just game characters Like, in the canon of their own game, they are nothing but 1's and 0's.
-
He looks OP.
-
Honestly, the things that scare me the most in this game is when a Survivor pallet stuns me and I didn't even know they were there.
Especially if I'm playing Wraith.

Is...
Is this like a legitimate question?
I don't-
I can't tell.

Lesson learned.
Pig is clearly OP, in need of nerf Immediately.
Get to it, BHVR.
-
More to the topic, I believe they stated it's not on their list of priorities. I would definitely love to see some of the killers get better Mori's.
Gore-wise, I think Oni and Hag are the best we're gonna get due to censorship laws in countries the game is played in.

Doctor is problematic? He’s one of the most balanced killers in the game.
This. He's annoying as all hell, but he's definitely balanced. Arguably the weakest of all the anti-loop killers.
And that Nemesis nerf would make Zombies entirely useless on indoor maps. They really aren't that hard to deal with.

I remember when the teaser for A binding of Kin came out, someone on the forums made a post on how it was Springtrap in the teaser...
I remember it for Binding of Kin, I remember it for All-Kill, even after the teasers showing the fact that it very obviously wasn't FNaF. I think I legit remember a Springtrap discussion for most Chapter Releases, except for the Resident Evil one.
-
I'm honestly shocked these discussions are still made. Every single time a chapter release rolls around, people think it's Springtrap. (Aside from last cycle, because last cycle we knew it was Resident Evil.) There is endless fighting on said topics. The chapter releases, and it has nothing to do with Springtrap or FNaF. The cycle starts again two months later
It's endless.
I feel like I'm going insane.

Jason is supernatural though. You see your thinking of Jason from 2 to 4. Jason from part 6 through Freddy v Jason can do all sorts of things. For example teleport
I told you Ms/Mr. Lat3ncy, we aren't gonna agree on this. I don't even like Springtrap or FnAF even a small amount, but I have always and will always think the "blank doesn't fit in DbD" argument is stupid. Saying "He won't work because I said so!" is equally as valid as the people who are saying "He will work because I said so!".
The subject is pretty much 100% subjective, there's no objective right or wrong here.
That is fair, I just hate the "He's just a insert thing here!!" argument so, so much. A huge portion of this game is just people in masks or came from media where they have no powers, other than the generic horror villain thing of never dying.
-
@Itslat3ncy said:

Freddys snares, and pallets make sense. He can mess with the dream world in movies, by making the floor a mussy substance, so what's to say he cant make snares or pallets. Plus survivors can only see them in the dream world. What's next PH becuz I can do him to. I only picked too for example.
So Freddy can do that because 'generic dream world stuff', cool. And you can try, but in my eyes you'll just be grasping at straws because nothing PH can do matches any appearance he's made. In every appearance he's made, he's been an unstoppable obstacle. Strong, slow. He has never dug trenches or shot waves like he does. But seeing as what you said, it'll probably be 'Silent Hill gave him that power to punish!!!1!"
Jason is just a hard-to-kill guy in a mask. He would never work. See how I can generalize too?
I don't like Springtrap either, but saying "he is just a guy in a suit" just shows a clear, huge bias against anything you personally don't like. Which is fair, you're allowed to dislike what you dislike, but just saying "He won't work because I said so!" doesn't make you right. I've seen more than plenty of showcases of how he could work.
It's clear we're not going to agree on this, so we should probably just stop.

I've explained this before Michael and Ghostface have powers that fit them. Pigs is a human yes. Her power is putting traps and suprise dashing people which happened in the movies.
Spring trap literally is just a decayed suit, and nothing else. The only thing that could work is maybe putting cameras on gens
Cool how you completely ignored my points about Pyramid Head and Freddy. Probably because they don't fit your narrative.
Once again, that doesn't mean anything. Where the killer comes from clearly doesn't matter-- BHVR has shown they can and will just make up powers if they have too.
-
@Itslat3ncy said:
How would he work. Spring trap is just a man in a broken suit. He has no ability besides M1ing. He doesnt really have anything that I could think of besides using cameras that are set on gens
I don't really want a FNaF chapter, but this 'argument' means nothing.
Show me where in Silent Hill 2, or in any other Pyramid Head appearance, where Dorito Head drew in the ground and attacked with waves like that.
Show me where Freddy spawned Pools of Blood that slowed Nancy and Quentin down in the NOES remake?
They don't. The 'well he's just a guy in a suit!!11!!!!1" arguments don't mean anything, because BHVR has shown they're capable in just making up powers. Michael is just a guy in a mask. So is Ghostace. Pig is just a woman in a mask.
I hate this argument so ######### much.
