3 man games, huh?
Yeah, that is something from the past which I do not miss, and you know how rare that is.
I remember the occasional two-man games.
Fun times.

Did the game immediately end once she disconnected? Sometimes I have games where it's like they disconnect while loading but the server took a while to register they weren't even in the game.
Nope.
The full game played. It only ended once all the Survivor's were dead.

The Meg is a lie.
Really felt like old DbD where you could spawn in with three survivors.
Gotta be honest, I didn't like the reminder.
-
At this point, please BHVR, just add him. I'm so tired of people talking about it.
And, like I've said before, watching this forum become a shitstorm after the fact would be ######### hilarious.

I mean it’s my opinion. And I know a few other who think so as well. That’s also your opinion.
I mean it's my opinion that the game isn't dying? Because it isn't. Any look at Steam Charts can easily say that. It's had the most players I think it's ever had. That isn't dying, by definition. We don't know in the case of consoles because they're very protective of their data.
Unless you're talking about Old DbD being better in which case- Yes. That is your opinion and I respect it.

Poeple have been saying that the game is dying since 2016....
lol
And people will always say it. It happens with any remotely popular online multiplayer games, countless claims of "Oh, the game is dying!"
Most of the time, it is untrue.
-
Dying? Not at all. People can say this all they want-- As long as this game is the only successful one in the genre, it won't be dying anytime soon.
As for missing old DbD. Eh? I miss some aspects, like the old maps, but I also like a lot of the new things they've added as well. I don't think every new thing they add is terrible.
-
I still find Old Legion far more infuriating, to be honest. At least Trickster can't instantly vault pallets and has to reload.
-
They're just trying to get you your daily recommendation of sodium intake.
-
I think Nemesis is fine. Trickster definitely needed some changes, and he still does. (The buffs were focusing on the wrong thing, IMO)

Question to the oni mains who will naturally be drawn to this thread, how do you play Oni's power before you are a good at charging through loops and slamming 90 degree flicks ? I find it easier to run someone down with billies chainsaw than I find chasing with Oni's charge not to mention how long it takes to wind up a non charging smash, I can barely see what's infront of me when I'm holding the club in the air.
Pls help me onichans
It actually doesn't take that long at all to charge Oni's kanobo. The second his hands flash red, you can instadown. So just get on their butt, hold down M1, wait until his hands flash down, instadown. I typically use the charge to scare survivors into dropping pallets, or if I know I can hit an extended lunge. If the survivor is wiggly or looping around small objects, I typically just use the short insta-down. It's a lot easier and doesn't take up nearly as much screen.
Some loops you can even use your demon-dash to get the down, and I typically find getting demon dash downs easier than just a normal, charged M1 strike.

Oni is by far the coolest killer in the entire game, both on aesthetics and power. Demon Dash is by far the most fun mechanic in the game. He doesn't have to deal with hitbox BS that Billy and Blight have.
That's definitely one of the reasons I love him. I've also trying to learn Blight, but it seems every time I do I get Ormond and glide off everything like I'm made of lube. Oni just feels so much more satisfying to play, imo.

I felt the same way about Spirit when I came back to her after I left her.
I tend to feel that way about any Killer I move away from a long time. Hell, I had a lot of fun with Billy a few days ago.
Then I remembered old Billy, and I was sad.

Love playing Oni with the Minotaur skin. The snorting, roaring and stomping all fit so well.
I actually prefer Oni's base aesthetic to the Minotaur, just because I think Oni looks ######### fanstastic. If the Minotaur skin was on any other killer, I probably would've gotten it already. Second only to the new Blight skin, in terms of Ultra-Rares, or whatever the hell they're calling them now.
-
Demo REEEEEEEEEE
But seriously I just enjoy Demo's lunge. Hitting his shred around a corner you didn't expect to is immensely satisfying.
-
I think we all know who the best survivor is.
-
They won't do this. BHVR has already said this. They don't want to exclude or split the player-base. One of the biggest reasons they added cross-play was to fix the queue times on all platforms.
If you don't wish to play with PC, turn cross-play off. If more people start having problems with it, they'll turn it off and you'll find matches faster- And if more people turn it off, BHVR might look at it. If not, then most people don't care-- And if most people don't care, BHVR has no reason to spend resources on it.

But what you can't count is how many times the Nem player noticed the zombie move for a moment as it briefly responded to you moving or doing something passing it and the Nem player clocking where you were and most logically going and constantly using this information throughout the game to decide his next patrol.
That's fair, but I have also seen zombies literally standing as close as they could to an obstacle, such as a tree, and just... Not moving. At all. Even when I was doing the generator ten feet away from it.

Hopefully not for a very long time. I would much prefer the devs take a break from releasing content and start working on a recode for the game to fix the issues that is brought apone by spaghetti code.
Well, have I got news for you! Unless BHVR decided to change their schedule, the next chapter is probably coming out in less than a month!
What's a 'health chapter?' Never heard of it.
-
I can count the times zombies have done something to me on one hand. And most of the time, when they have, it was my own fault. And I've definitely played my fair share of games against Nemesis at this point.
Zombies aren't useless but don't act like they're amazing either.

Is it oppresive if you are also revealed? Remember these Killers are crazy fast while invisible. Don't forget that Freddy can be invisible too.
Spirit can't see aura's in phase, and Freddy only goes invisible for brief moments of time, so the perk would be absolutely useless against him.
This is what old OoO did before the Undetacable status changes, and it was changed for a reason.
-
I would definitely consider replacing Franklin's, unless they all have medkits. In which case, I'd replace Nurse's. It's not that hard as Wraith to find Survivors healing, even without it.

Mario almost getting stabbed by sephiroth is the greatest thing i've seen in a trailer ever so i agree with this
Let's have Sephiroth stab Meg in the next trailer.

So legitimately just better Deliverance.
Right, good idea.
I'm all for more anti-camping perks, but this one is overpowered and terrible.
-
Demo actually breaks pallets a little bit faster (I believe), even more so with Barb's Glasses. Stacking them could be... Pretty crazy.
In general though, yes, I agree. A lot of the older perks need updating.
-
You can't. That's one of the counters to BBQ.
At these moments, just use your game sense to go to a gen.

Don't have too many, I don't spend a lot on cosmetics, but here we go.

I just.. don't understand why they wouldn't wait a little bit when a match starts BEFORE they put a hex down. I don't know if that would solve anything, but I think it would be nice so it just doesn't spawn on top of survivors or be automatically discovered because someone had nothing better to do
I genuinely don't really care if my Totem get's found early. I just don't want them to spawn in front of Gens/In the open. They don't have to be super hidden, but... I just don't want them to be near gens. Survivor's are naturally going to go there-- So yeah, I get a bit tilted when they find my Ruin immediately because it spawned ten feet away from a generator. If it was just in a ######### place and they happened to find it, whatever. But on gens is what makes me angry.
-
I just dislike totems in general. They either get found five seconds into the game and the spots are extremely obvious, or they're hidden in a room out of the way of any pallet on RPD or behind some locker in the corner in the second floor of Midwich.
-
I got one a few days ago for Pyramid Head.

Blight’s just doesn’t interest me at all, I don’t like how it was written. I also think his tome was pointless.
I can agree Blight's tome wasn't amazing, but it wasn't Nurse level terrible.
I find what Blight did after he was taken far more interesting. I mean, the guy managed to experiment on a good portion of the cast. As a human. That's badass. I personally just find him very interesting.
-
Honestly, surprised to see Blight so low. I think he has some fantastic lore.
That's how opinions work though, so hey. I definitely agree on Hag's and Nurse's lore just being terrible.
-
I mean, this is assuming the Devs aren't already working on a Candyman chapter, seeing as how... Well, the new movie is coming out in like a month. Candyman is on everyone's minds right now. Chapters take a while to make, planned in advance. Jason wouldn't change anything if a Candyman chapter is already being worked on/planned.
Is the lawsuit actually over? I'm not calling you a liar, I've just seen people say that at least like... Twenty times on this forum, and it hasn't been true once. It's always a hoax.
-
I think that's inherently how a asymmetric games work. Or at the very least this one. While not always, one side having fun typically means the other isn't.
Survivors looping a killer all game and saving, ######### like that is fun for the Survivor... But frustrating for the killer.
A killer getting easy downs all game or playing a powerful killer might be fun for the killer, but frustrating for the Survivors. Again this isn't always, but I see it happen this way a lot.
-
No.
Blight doesn't ignore game mechanics like Nurse does. Nurse (unless they change her) is always going to be the best killer in the game.
-
Because... Opinions exist?
And people have different ones?
Crazy thought, I know.
-
Because it was not in the patch notes, I am assuming it was a bug.
-
Gonna be honest, Ruindying, Tinkerer in killers like Blight are pretty annoying. Yes, they have every right to use them, but going against an incredibly mobile killer like Blight with Tinkerer is incredibly unfun. It's the same thing I feel with survivors only running their meta. It's boring to go against the same builds every single match.
-
I mean, with so many killers at this point that are the "if you drop the pallet, you get hit, if you don't, you get hit" type, can you really blame them?
-
This is unrelated, but I thought all survivors entered the lobby at the same time now, when they made some sort of matchmaking change. I thought that had been a thing for a long while.
-
I swear, every other post you've made is complaining that Trickster isn't powerful. Trickster is definitively not the worst Killer in the. Pig and Trapper have no way with dealing with loops. Trickster, if the loop is isn't to tall, can easily deal with those kinds of loops.
No one is saying he's OP or even amazing. But he's not the worst Killer at all. Anyone that says that is either bad at him or just biased again him. And before you go "wHaT rAnK" because that's all anyone in this forum knows how to counteract arguments. I'm a rank 2 killer right now. Any
-
I've been playing a lot of Demo recently, he's a lot of fun. Blight is a high skilkcap killer who can function pretty decently without the meta. Doesn't stop people from running it on him, though

The entity is a she?
In the original French, I believe they used feminine pronouns when referring to the Entity. In English, I think it is only referred to as It.
The Entity is what you want her to be.

@MadLordJack said:
They could do it, but so many of the properties people want have killers that are too powerful and would feel super lame. The Xenomorph is a huge one, one of those things could tear through all of the survivors in seconds without any way for the survivors to stop it since they don't have giant guns. That's literally it's character design and why it's so scary.
That seems to be a big issue with a large amount the licenses. According to what people said about Nemesis, he shouldn't be stunned by pallets-- And neither should a monster like Demogorgon or Oni.
-
@FancyMrB said:
I really hope so!!! A space/ sci fi chapter is what I dream of. Either original characters or licensed.
I am no expert on the lore but the Entity sounds exactly like Pennywise. Eater of worlds, pure evil, yadda yadda yadda. It has made its way through the cosmos and has set its eyes on earth.
I don't see why having space creatures in the game would be lore breaking.
I think it'd certainly be interesting, but I'm curious as to how they would spin it. So far, all the Survivors have been from somewhat modern eras. If we're including licensed, the earliest would be the 1980's, I believe. Killers have been from all sorts of times, but so far, nothing from the future.

@DelsKibara said:
I mean we did technically get Greek Monsters like The Minotaur as a Legendary Skin.
So I guess it's not out of the question?
But I don't know, I've never been a fan of the ideas for stuff like Xenomorph being added into the game. Demogorgon I can at least slide since Stranger Things kept up that slasher aesthetic. But full on sci-fi like Xenomorph? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
To be completely honest, considering the Alien franchise is now owned by Disney, I think the possibilities of it being a chapter have plummeted.
-
Cthulhu wouldn't fit at all considering his pure size, and I feel as if they're going to stay far away from any sort of Biblical characters such as Satan.
But, that being said, I wouldn't mind somebody like Pennywise who could be just as powerful. At least the book form could be.
-
no nerf legion
-
I think if the Entity were to have a physical form, considering what it's based on, I don't think the Entity would have such a humanoid form.
Probably more... A mess of its spidery tentacles.
