Yeah, I know but I don't think it'll be too much of a problem since it's just a small structure... However it can be problematic on some maps with FPS issues but it's unlikely. It takes 15 seconds to wake up a sleeping survivor (My version) or the sleeping survivor can fail any skill check, with the increased instant regression penalty. It only takes 90 seconds to wake up a survivor when the survivor is being chased, in the killer's grasp, on a hook, and in the Hell Realm... This prevents the BS on the killer's side and can waste the survivors time that they could be using on generators.thesuicidefox said:Hell Realm isn't technically possible though. Unreal requires you to "cook" things in the engine, meaning that any time someone plays Freddy the game has to load preschool along with whatever else map it supposed to be.
Survivor wake up doesn't need to be crazy long. It should be made longer than it is now, but anything more than 7 seconds is too strong.
They also need to invert skill checks so that the success and fail zones are swapped in terms of size. Then you are basically trying to hit a normal skill check but the zone is a fail zone, and you can't just spam the button.
-
Thanks for the civil feedback, with justification!thesuicidefox said:1) Hell Realm is just strange. It overcomplicates his power WAY too much.
2) I like everything else, BUT I don't think it's possible from a technical standpoint to have 2 versions of a survivor. Also, regarding hooks specifically, it would be a very strange mechanic and not flow with the rest of the game. Also also, I can just see the amount of BS that happens when you are chasing someone and they wake up then teleport completely away.Freddy doesn't need all this. He just needs for transition to block all survivor actions (except pallet drops and vaults) and a rework of all his add-ons (to remove the negatives and buff his white/yellows). Outside that he just need the general killer QoL buffs.
1.) I like the idea of the Hell Realm because it encourages Freddy to find multi survivors to charge his secondary power and it adds more diversity to Freddy. This discourages tunneling since you won't fill your secondary power as fast than would you rather put multiple survivors in the Dream Realm to fill it faster. However I respect your PoV and opinion!
2.) Yes, there can be a lot of BS that can happen but it's unlikely since if the sleeping survivor is in a chase, on a hook, in the killer's grasp, and in the Hell Realm. The survivor performing the wake up action will take 90 seconds to wake up a survivor instead of 15.
Your right in the final paragraph, he doesn't but I was thinking that if he had more diversity and more reasons to not tunnel or camp a survivor, the better!

There is only one infinite in the game, that's Solo Survivor and Object of Obsession. These perks, if used correctly, can prevent the killer from ever finding the survivor and thus, prevent the killer from catching you.CornChip said:What infinite loops? where can you run a killer for infinity?
-
Lol, nice one, I'll write that one down on my salty survivor quotes! However seriously, a survivor shouldn't be able to 1 versus 1 a killer, like NEVER! Now 4 survivors should be able to 1 versus 1 a killer if they have great teamwork but currently that's not the case and that won't be for awhile sadly.Dudddd said:We need more better players instead of cry babies also -
Basically when a survivor dies, you create a invisible circle around you that follows you wherever you go! You'll always be the center of the circle regardless of its size! For every survivor that is eliminated from the trial, the circle gets bigger depending on your Solo Survivor tier! If the killer is in your circle, (s)he won't see your aura at all! So if the killer was in your circle and a buddy survivor completed the final generator, since the killer is in your circle, your aura won't be shown to the killer if (s)he had Bitter Murmur!Iceman said:That is so interesting. I use the perk sometimes too but I could never tell how accurate it works. I thought one survivor was not good enough. -
@chemical_reject Can't wait! I'm a nice guy, I would feel bad if I used it on someone but still would like to see it used on a salty survivor or killer to tell them.chemical_reject said:@Iceman I totally stole that GIF to send to the next person that sends me a text bitching about something lmao I can't WAIT to use it. -
You shouldn't have to play nurse just to have a chance against survivors. In my opinion, most killers should be Billy's level.laKUKA said:i just only play nurse...if i choose other killer...they bullying me... this is so sad.

I love the idea, if BHVR was gonna add a new game mode, this would probably be the one.BigBadPiggy said:Hunt:
6 survivors and 1 killer will spawn in an arena. The arena can be affected by Hunt gamemode specific offerings. Ex: Number of lockers, bushes, fogginess, and brightness.
The survivors will have 1 minute to find a hiding spot (the killer will be blind for this duration) After 1 minute has passed the killer will be released. The killer will have no perks, addons, red stain, or terror radius (Removing the killers terror radius and red stain will help promote fear in the survivors). The survivors will have no perks or items.
The survivors must survive for 15 minutes in order to win, the killer must find and kill all 6 survivors. When a survivor is hit they will get a small sprint burst (Lasting a little longer than the one in the base game to make it more fair) to help them escape and find another spot to hide in (survivors are not allowed to heal). Survivors will not leave scratch marks or blood pools. The killer must rely on sight and hearing in order to find his prey.
Once a survivor is hit three times they will be consumed by the entity and will be brought to the game over screen. From this screen the eliminated survivors will be given the choices of spectating the other survivors, or leaving.
Bloodpoints. Killer: Points will be awarded for finding, chasing, and hitting survivors. Points will not be lost if the survivor gets away. Survivors: Points will be awarded for staying hidden while close to the killer (You will not be told how many points you gain when you are further away from the killer), escaping the killer, and surviving the hunt.
The Shape will start in tier 2 and cannot progress to tier 3 (as to avoid insta downs). The Hillbilly and The Cannibal will have a permanent speed limiter affect (as to avoid insta downs) The speed limiter effect will have no effect on bloodpoints gained. The Nurse’s power will be limited to 1 blink as to avoid the killer being able to catch up to a survivor immediately after that survivor has been hit. The maps will be the same size as Lery’s Memorial institute to ensure that no survivors will be further than 40 to 50 meters from the killer for the entire match.
This gamemode will have it's own ranking system.
Option for SWF will be allowed.
Pallets will not spawn during the hunts.
Killer will still receive noise notifications.
Crows will still spawn on motionless survivors to promote moving from hiding spot to hiding spot. (It will take longer for the crows to appear in Hunt)
The Doctor’s shock therapy will be turned into an aoe around him, it will require 3 shocks for the survivor to enter madness 1. The Doctor’s static field will not be active during the hunt. The madness tier up notification will last 1 second, after which the survivor will lose their madness (therefore requiring 3 more shocks for the next scream).
The Pig will have no bear traps (She will still be able to crouch and ambush)
The Clown will stay the same.
The Huntress will have unlimited hatchets.(The cooldown before she can throw again will be longer)
The Trapper and The Hag will be limited to 3 traps as to avoid the entire map being locked up tighter than Fort Knox.
Hope you all like my idea. Feel free to give me your thoughts on it.
Ps: Sorry if you don’t like reading 😏

People often underestimate her mind game potential with her ambush.Chi said:Must have. I have been playing loads of killer (Pig).

I agree, I had a Reverse Bear Trap on my head and I 99% some generators before someone powered on a generator. I still died since the Pig had the deadly Reverse Bear Trap add-ons but it didn't matter, if she didn't have them add-ons, I would've escaped and rendered her Reverse Bear Traps useless. I really do think that if her "Annotated Plan" add-on was built-in to her kit with generator penalty I mentioned above, I'll post the quote below.ChesterTheMolester said:
Yes its in there cause survivors lose all incentives to not blast gens out while a trap is active. Once someone else already activated a gen, you can do so now too without consequences.Nickenzie said:
I like the idea of the Reverse Bear Trap timer being faster for every generator. Basically when a generator is completed, the timer is speed up by 20%. For example: Claudette was downed and slugged with a Reverse Bear Trap. 2 generators where completed when she was downed. She'd have a 1 minute and 36 second timer because survivors rushed the generators, not bad but that's getting close to the line of "What's the goal of a Reverse Bear Trap?"ChesterTheMolester said:Here is an idea that is a general buff to her Power while also punishing camping and tunneling.
- RBTs now now have an activation timer instead of relying on a generator. RBTs activate after 25-30 seconds (enough to either Self-Care or get an head start).
The activation timer will stop if downed, hooked or in a chase.
- Each generator completed will reduce the timer by 20%, making a mindless genrush now actually dangerous.
- Everytime the trapped survivor is downed, 20% will be added to the timer. This should further discourage tunneling.
- Either Tempered Timer or Rule Set No.2 is now basekit.
It's not supposed to be dangerous unless you absolutely don't care about dying. It's supposed to waste the survivors' time.
Maybe have the "Annotated Plan" Built-in to her kit to waste more time and for every generator completed, any survivor with a ACTIVE Reverse Bear Trap timer will instantly lose 20 seconds of their timer.
Then more survivors will respect other survivors when they have a active timer.Nickenzie said:

That's the type of feedback I'm wanting to hear, you're being civil and telling me exactly why you don't want this in DBD, parfait! You're so oblivious to how much this can help the survivor side as well. It won't just help the killer but the survivor as well, c'mon what's the absolute that can happen? Give it a chance, if it's too much then they can remove it from the PTB.
It's just my opinion, if the devs want to test it on the ptb I'm all for it, in the end I have no sway over what goes into the game, I just prefer if the gameplay doesn't become second nature when it comes to chases where you don't have to keep track of different players, their health states, ect.

Idk, I have mixed feelings on a FNaF chapter. However I don't see a big problem with adding this chapter tho but the developers want a human like killer not a complete machine tho. Maybe Spring Trap could but that's the developers choice, not mine!TheEliteTurtle said:Why is the idea of a FNaF chapter so hated upon? Basically, it's just gives the survivor and killer more information. For example let make up a random username, xvot 341. I just feel like her Reverse Bear Traps are just weak, meaning that they don't waste enough time. I have gotten two Reverse Bear Traps on me before and got them off rather quickly, doesn't waste a lot of time in my opinion. Her ambush could need something like increased movement speed or a faster dash speed... etc... etc...
the big problem with the ambush is that when you're crouching you move slower than normal walking speed which is absurd if anything you should move faster since un-crouching or ambushing is slow
-
Saving Grace: You have something that others don't... Perseverance! When you are within 24/28/32 meters from the killer for 60 seconds, this perk activates. Next time that you take a hit that would put you into dying state, instead break into a sprint at 150% than your normal movement speed for 10 seconds. Causes permanent exhaustion. If you are hooked at anytime during the trial, you'll instantly be fast forward to the third phase of sacrifice.

Actually you'll be surprised what you can do with her ambush. You can pretend to dash one direction then quickly go the other direction to get a quick hit on the survivor if they get mind gamed. However this doesn't work on more bigger pallet loops tho, overall I sometimes use my ambush, it depends if I can waste time to go for a sneaky hit.Master said:Yes, I hate RNG in games and thats why I never bought her.

Cool idea but... SWF would have huge queue times since most killers just want a chill game, ya know?trendyfartknocker said:Devs, this will be the easiest fix of your life. It's a simple UI change and a flag in the match making algorithm. It'll probably take 5 minutes to code and 30 minutes to add the UI elements. It solves the one issue of balance that is both A) completely outside of your control and
completely your fault for the bad implementation.
To be clear, the issue is not inherently groups with friends, but the almost certainty that said groups are communicating OUTSIDE the bounds of the game. There is no amount of balance that can be obtained through skill or perks that can counter this. Even the best rank 1 killers fail against some of these groups. Give killers the CHOICE to face them or not. It's pretty simple, really.

My intent with the perk is to encourage killers to chase and hook as much as possible and dissuade camping. Additionally, there is counter play, you just have to stop fixing every time you see the killer pick someone up, so the gen will only regress, and you can start fixing again.
But, there is also synergy with knock out, so survivors can't see when you pick people up, so that specific mind game is more in the killers favor.
