New Sacrifice Mechanics and Themes
I think it would be amazing if you could get to sacrifice/be sacrificed in different ways. I don't know if they could be random, or maybe as time goes on each map gets it's own special sacrifice mechanic or style. These were a couple that I thought would be interesting. The entity might find different forms of sacrifice a thing that would scare the survivor more, storewise.
SACRIFICIAL ALTAR with a Spike
Maybe they could set up several stone beds in different spots, with a bunch of candles and bones making an altar similar to the Hex Totems, but larger and more distinct. This is the spot you can "sabotage/sabotour" the altar. The mound will be broken down into a mess, and will reemerge after three minutes. 30 seconds if you have Hangman's Trick. The bodies of survivors would be laid on their backs, and their arms stay down by their sides. That spider-entity claws form in tangles around your limbs as you struggle to push yourself up off a spike in the upper left shoulder the survivor
ELECTRIC CHAIR with Helmet
After downing a survivor, you can sit them in a chair and buckle their ankles, and place down the helmet. The longer they are on the chair, the stronger and louder the shocks get. They can attempt to push the helmet off, but it reduces the struggle bar by 17 percent. When you remove a survivor from an electric chair, you suffer a status effect that stuns you for one second.
Maybe even we can add more ways to sacrifice a survivor, and that way can be sabotaged, it would really up the fear factor and interest in the game. I love this game already, but it would be pretty sick
Could you think of any other ways a survivor could be sacrificed? Be it themed/fixed on the killer, or level? They could add the spider effect summoning in each spot. It would be cool to save people from hooks one game, and then save them from being burnt alive in another.
Comments
So the altar is basically the hook. And Electric Chair is annoying hook?
Maybe another one could be being burned at the stake too. I think any of these can be formulaicly tweaked to be just like the hook, but a different animation for sacrifice that fits a horror flick
