  • If the game didn't go your way, then you could find a match that does. If 1 DC's another probably will because the game would become unfair. 3 survivors DC'd, you still got points and won the game, so why complain? And if you really care about addons that bad then just get more.

Decisive Strike is the most brokenly overpowered perk in the game by a wide margin. Losing even one hook at the end of a long chase can cost the killer the whole game and the survivors can do it four times in a single match at no cost.
Also, there's nothing situational about Adrenaline. Unlike NOED, where you would prefer to kill the survivors before they even finish the generators, for a survivor repairing the generators is the primary objective so Adrenaline should always be kicking in.
But the real issue with Decisive Strike isn't even that it's overpowered, though it is. The real issue is that it's a slap in the face to the killer. They won the chase fair and square but the survivor gets away for free. It's bad game design. It punishes the killer for doing their job. Where is the killer perk that lets them kick a fully repaired generator to shut it off completely?

It's not so fair and square when you get pranked by ping : (

tf the pig just got buffed, and don't you even dare say that an extra 4 metres terror radius is a nerf it isn't gonna effect anything.

So a small buff means no more buffs ever for that killer? Great logic, guess Pig is perfect now. Perhaps you meant, she just got a buff and doesn't need another one yet? Even then it's irrelevant, we all want and have been asking for more buffs to Pig because she has crap add-ons.

I meant as another yet. They just buffed Pig, they should (and probably are) focusing on other killers and balancing.
If you feel The Pig's addons aren't great, than thats co o l. I don't care if they change the addons again than anything else like power or TR

Hi, what, other than sound, does sound affect, does it make you more visible or something or is it only the sound that makes it bad to sprint?

    Regards

Sprinting leaves 'scratch marks', which are basically foot prints in a way. I'm assuming you're new, so the advice I would give is don't sprint all the time. Don't sprint if the killer is close, unless he notices you, and don't sprint over windows or in a locker because it'll give a notification to the killer telling him where you are. : )

  • I don't really have a problem with it, it isn't as bad as some people say it is. I can say it did get a little worse with the recent legion patch.

Entitled selfish people disconnect. You can counter Legion by stunning wit pallets, looping for as along as you can, I once had a Survivor find an awesome tractor loop on Autahaven that I could not catch him on, it was embarassing. But mostly your goal is to loop and run from that killer for as long as possible so that your teammates can do Gens. Legion is normally slow and I run him around for ages forcing him to use his FF on me, and none of them want to but realize they must.

Also if you're on console you can juke him really hard.

this applies to every killer, we're looking for a counter against legion.

On console Legion specifically gets juked very hard.

lmao yeah that's true, but I was applying that with the other stuffs you s p o k e

Very unlikely someone will have the answer to this question but will the hallowed blight outfits be available for shards? I ask because I have a bunch and rlly don’t have a use for them, since I have all the outfits I want other than the Hallowed blight trapped and wraith. Any idea of they will ever be on sale for iridescent shards? Thanks in advance for any answers

Probably not, but on rare occasions they'll make purple outfits available for shards.(21k)

  • It shouldn't be your fault if you're good at the game and can run the killer around for a long chase because the killer isn't good or smart enough to realize he should go after a different target. Whenever you eventually get caught, you get camped or whatever. I see where you're coming from, but it doesn't apply to being good or bad at the game, because it's not like I would purposely let the killer hook me so I don't end up getting camped.

If you already didn't know, on a dev stream they mentioned this was one of the ways they would nerf DS. They realized it only made SWF groups stronger as they could have time to flashlight save, bodyblock, etc.

...What is the logic behind that?

So, DS currently = one perk, one survivor, one escape from grasp, three other survivors doing objectives.

DS in hypothetical nerf = one perk, one survivor does nothing other then stun for 5 seconds or w\e, survivor still hooked because there is enough hooks to go around. Let's be real, chances of being helped during this phase in a solo game is slim.

In swf situation = one perk, one survivor stuns killer for 5 second, second survivor comes in for the FL save if he has a FL or simply tries to block. FL would more or less guarantees the save whilst blocking is not guaranteed and will most likely injure one or more survivors.

How would the last two situations make a swf stronger then a swf group today running DS?

Stronger as against Solo Survivors, not as the killer, and balancing SWF and Solos is one of the biggest issues in DBD they're trying to handle

  • Buff survivors by adding a shirtless option for all of them

  • STBFL is pretty much good one anyone for the same reason. I used to a lot for clown because of the really fast flip animation lmAo

  • i dont mean to brag but I did it on my second or third attempt. It's not too bad as long as you have moris to spare. The hatch even spawned right next to the last downed guy and we had a friendly conversation about it. He ended with "Well im glad I could help for your platinum lmao". What a good day that was... good times, good times

They nerfed exhaustion to not go down while sprinting for a reason. Not a good idea to add it back, even in the form of a perk.

Even if, I feel as the motionless idea is a good one
  • Isn't .10% a tenth of one percent? Do you mean 10%?
    oops lmao
  • I never intentionally de-ranked, but I was thinking about it because of the "Evil Incarnate" achievement. If ranking is supposed to be going up against skilled and experienced players because you are high rank too, then I would want to go against my level too and not just because I got lucky in a few games. I don't have much experience with tombstones and I would just get bullied with really good survivors, so I would want to go against survivors with my skill level.

  • The percent is way to high for a regular perk, but if it was a hex it would be way to low. It should be raised by 5 or 10% and go back 5 or 10% whenever you hook someone that's already been hooked.

  • It's also really satisfying when those sURviVors cleanse that fresh haunted grounds

  • I play a pretty m e a n nurse, you really just have to get the blinking down and use good addons. I would suggest the ones that decrease fatigue time like the pocket watch.

  • Practically every addon for legion should be in his base kit.

  • No, the developers already stated they already increased the generator time and wouldn't again.

  • ok make DS a part of the game.

  • Well like, there's going to be new ingame stuff to do during the event coming up?

  • DS is literally hit or miss, I guess they never miss huh?

Decisive strike is balanced by the fact that it can only be used once per game.

Only this fact, and the fact that there is a hook per square meter in that game, makes the DS balanced. I do not understand why the main killer cries so much for this perk. And you can still put the survivor on the floor, to '' bug '' DS.

If the DS changes, I want you to nerf Noed too, removing the killer's additional speed. This is tense, you try the whole match for the final killer who did nothing in the match get extremely fast and bring down on a hit.

So noed and DS is balanced and have counter. Don't need changes. They are two perks that benefit enough killer and survivor

How do you counter DS? Just curious...... asking for a bad killer friend

there are perks that can counter it like enduring, all obsession perks, or you could just dribble

Enduring doesnt counter it, the survivors still gets a free escape and can continue to loop you. How is an obession perk (I assume killer perk?) a counter to DS?
Also dribbling just prolongs the inevitable

obsession perks are either made to tunnel your obsession or let them live, by doing this you either get DS out of the way or you ignore it until it doesn't have an effect on gameplay.

  • @se05239 said:
Technically 30%, since its one for each other survivor.
The thing is though.. only ONE Prove Thyself can be active at once in a party of four survivors working on the same generator.. which is off-set by all people having Leader.. by.. like.. a lot..

EDIT: Leader doesn't buff repair speed up to 25% btw, only everything else.

They mentioned it was a typo, and they meant only one leader at a time, so everyone can run prove thyself lol

  • I'm not against this, but still those are 2 perk slots used up that could easily be replaced

  • yeah well of course they would buff prove thyself it was literal ass

  • gEniuS dUDe tHIS wiLl fIX tHE gAME

  • No one likes him lol everyone just buys him for his perks which are good and you should level him up for other killers.

  • Now this is what I call unepic.

  • the only good thing with this is it would take forever with sloppy butcher on other survivors.
it makes survivors heal faster, which means it would make more killers run NOED and I say eat me out to that

  • where'd you hear this what
