  • After reading a few comments I have to ask this!

Why is it ok for killer's to guess and not being able to do anything in certain situation, but if survivor's have to guess or can't do anything in a situation it's bad?

  • @TheButcher said:

All the people here going "It's a bug, but I'm for it" . These are the people that need to learn that you're not supposed to be on equal playing field to the Killer. THE KILLER IS SUPPOSED TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY STRONGER THAN YOU. The game is supposed to be built around the fact that no matter how good you are at survivor - A killer of equal skill. WILL. GET. YOU.

While your right, the problem with this logic is that the game has evolved to be more focused on the 1v1 and not the 4v1! Spirit is a killer that makes survivor's have to use their brain to 1v1 her which is why she is hated because survivor's can't mindlessly 1v1 her or accept the fact that if they play well she will eventually adapt and get the survivor she's chasing!

  • As a Spirit main, it doesn't surprise us because it happens every patch! It's going to take shadow nerfing her to our attention!

  • @KingOfBadRNG said:

I'm kinda hoping they do asylum first

The only thing that needs to be addressed about that map imo is the RNG of the infinite that can spawn there and the Asylum in general! That map is literally Shelter Woods with a building slapped in the middle of the map

  • I'd rather them address Mount Ormond first since that map is unbalanced af for killers that aren't Nurse or Spirit!

  • @Yords said:

I mean a simple addition to generators other than skill checks since generators are pretty boring to fix.

Imo would put a limit progression on gens!

    For example

Every 25% progression a gen reaches the gen overheats, and survivors need to find oil and pour it into the gen to cool the generator off and progress to the next 25 percentage!

  • @TheMonadoBoi said:

I really have nothing to add to the title. I'm kinda tired of how many people complain about how Deathslinger, Pyramid Head or Spirit "have no counterplay" when most of survivors' perks and core mechanics have little to no downsides or options for killers to play around/capitalise on.

lol when I played her for the first time, i thought people were lying about her being "braindead" but damn, i have good headsets and, my god SHE'S braindead.

What makes her "brain dead"? Is it the fact that she flips the script on survivor's and exploits the problem with looping? Is it the fact that you know how to actually listen and predict survivor's?

I'm just curious as to why a unique killer that has to depend on a mechanic that breaks every patch and is technically getting shadow nerf with every sound tuning is considered "Brain Dead"?

I do run with Spine Chill and when I know I'm running against a Spirit I move the second it flashes, just abandon the area. I'm almost always long gone before she phases in. Against her I NEVER commit to a Gen. Spine Chill is the light and the way. It says go, I go.

As a Spirit main, the problem with Spine Chill is that once she identifies that you have Spine Chill she can take advantage of that perk and use it to mindgame survivor's!

  • @Talanar said:

Going above rank 15 is impossible for me, so got no idea how you got up there to rank 5. You probably play survivor like some killers play killer - enters the game, downs all 4 survs in 2 min, and is later surprised he's bored. Or goes 'ez ez ez' forever.

I'm not like that and I'm past all that! As a killer I will only slug all 4 survivor's if the opportunity presents itself!

I'm finding survivor boring because I don't find anything challenging and I'm having to deal with 90% of the killer roaster the same way and holding M1 on a gen is just brain dead boring!

Found a survivor less than 20 seconds into the game, and finished the chase in less than a minute. Yet, three gens popped by the time I got the survivor hooked and I would be able to use PGTW. In the end, I only managed to net one kill using NOED, and that was only because the person let go on first hook. Furthermore, in the endgame chat, I was flamed on all sides by this obvious swf for using NOED, despite them all using tier 3 meta perk builds. I was also accused of tunneling, even though all four of them were running near identical Claudette cosmetics. Three of them had brought maxed out toolboxes, one of which with a BNP.

At this point, why even try to play? The game is in a horrible state right now.

Gen speeds aren't the problem! Lack of survivor objectives id the problem

So I'm going for the "No Mither" challenge in the archives, but get frustrated after getting spirit twice in a row. The first match wasn't too bad, but I got caught in chase very quickly. The next match I got matched against the same Stridor Spirit who knew I wasn't running Decisive Strike and relentlessly tunneled me into the ground.

Now I'm not happy that I screwed my teammates over, so I'm asking if anyone has any advice on if not counter Spirit completely, at least buy myself a few extra seconds in chase. I've tried breaking LOS and walking, doesn't work. I've tried Window vaulting quietly and back, didn't work. I've tried throwing pallet early, and breaking LOS, nothing. Iron WIll barely does anything since every Spirit runs Stridor as well.

Call me a nub for having played this game for nearly 1800 hours and still being shite against Spirit. I usually play killer mostly but have been playing survivor near exclusively recently and so I have to deal with spirits I never learned to face. I admit I have to get good so ANY advice on how to go about that against her will be appreciated.

Your best bet at countering Spirit is playing her and understanding how she thinks and what she would do in a situation!

Spirit is hated amongst the survivor community because she gives no feedback to survivor's! That is the purpose of Spirit, and sadly I'm a firm believer that Spirit is a product of what's wrong with looping because she flips the script on survivor's! Survivor's don't like guessing, but almost everything about killer is guessing!

Just played a trial where I got a 3k Hatch escape.

Apparently the Berus Add On on Huntress made the game boring for the Survivors(According to them). I know that most survivors have fun when they're being chased and Exhaustion Perks extends those chases therefore extending there fun but as a Killer, I don't want them extending their chase time using Dead Hards or Sprint Bursts or any exhaustion perk.

So other survivors here, What are your thoughts on Add Ons or Perks that gives you exhaustions and takes away one of your perk for a period of time?

edit: removed their names... forgot about that sorry...

After playing survivor for a month and only dealing with 2 Solvent Jug Clowns! Exhaustion addons are not a problem imo! Though they did make me realize that if you have to depend on second chance/exhaustion perks you probably not good at the game! When I took off exhaustion and second chance perks, I realized that all they did was cover up my lack of skill and chances to get better at survivor and learn from my mistakes!

  • Me and Dwight! I can't picture Dwight with anyone else and is the only character I find attractive!

  • I was thinking about this the other day! Since his nerf I have only seen maybe 7 or 8 Billy's and as a killer main it depresses me because this could mean a lot of bad news for killers in the future!

When I start as the killer and walked (doctor) to the farthest generator with no stops and the players are able to finish that generator before I get there, that is a problem in this game. I had zero chance to stop that gen from being done as at least 3 players started by it.

I get that players will finish some gens and a good match should be close, but having 0% chance to stop the first gen is just Not well balaneced.

Gen speeds aren't the problem! The problem lies within

    1. Killer's lacking map mobility
    2. Survivor's not having enough objectives!

If the devs nerf gen speeds again survivor might as well be a gen simulator

After playing this game for a long time. I think it's time to take my second break. I'm burnt out again. The game is just so stale for survivors currently. I play the game look at the main menu and get off. I get into a game and im instantly bored.

I get bad map rng or it's some killer that I dont enjoy facing. I never see billy anymore. I have seen alot of Pyramid Heads recently and it just is not fun. Still getting hit through windows. I'm glad the devs are working on it but it's taking so long to finally fix bad hits. The meta is stale because there isnt many good survivor perks.

The game is also just so buggy. The devs are so amatuer they can't even consistently have bug fixes nor did they fix the spaghetti code before it got bad.

I ended up deleting dbd ill be back at some point. I might look at the forums from time to time but maybe not.

Just be warned! The more breaks you take from the game, the more your going not gonna wanna return to the game! I'm currently on my 6th break and I don't even want to open the game to check my rank reset! BHVR could give us a 1 Million bloodpoint promo code and I still wouldn't open the game

As the title says, this is concerning the exhaustion add ons for certain killers that have it. Now this is not a rant, but I was in a game recently when playing clown. For my add ons I ran cooldown time after throwing the bottles to recover faster along with the jug that gives the exhaustion effect for 30 seconds.

After the game I gave a good old "gg", only to get a insult afterwards. Some of the words they used were very inappropriate so I am not planning to post a screenshot nor go into detail about it. I simply told them that its inside the game and I am free to use what I want and of course the same applies goes for them.

Is there something I am not understanding?

Is running exhaustion add ons really that concerning or something to debate over?

One of the reason's why I love Clown's Solvent Jug is because a lot of survivor's are nothing without their exhaustion perks! Imo I don't think exhaustion add-ons are a problem due to the fact that survivor's don't recover from exhaustion while running. But than again I don't run exhaustions perks when I play survivor due to how dependable and crutch they feel!

Every few games this happens and it's a total waste of my time. Down someone early? DC. Down a survivor while another is on a hook? DC.

Can we have some meaningful DC penalties please? I've played 5 games tonight and 3 of them had ragequitters in the first minute.

It's not surprising anymore really! There will always be a way for survivor's to forfeit themselves! Even if they revamp the DC peanlty their will always be away for them to forfeit, but killer's have to endure it though!

  • @turtlewhiskey said:

Dbd could be better with how they balance items/perks/maps ect. All they need to do is a similar way to how Valorant uses CSGO pro players to judge whats good or bad for the game, having a gamer inside the game working on bettering any balance issues. It might be a hard thing to do, or may even be worse by letting bias dictate it, but its an attempt the devs are making at helping the players have more fun. We should be working with the devs not against eachother, just look at the warframe community when an update completely ruined the experience and they waited it out and respected the devs for trying.

What you give is what you get! Marth once tried work with the dev team to help them balance the game, but once he realized that they weren't listening, he stopped putting in the effort and energy to even talk about balance!

It seems like most Killers don’t like good old fashioned looping anymore. They’ll leave you at the drop of a hat if you’re playing good and camp you like crazy if they can tell you’re playing bad.

Killers with anti-loop spam that stuff so hard it’s like they’re allergic to looping normally. Huntress, Doctor, Pyramid, Freddy and Billy players will go around and around for ages trying to use their power, when they could’ve just looped the standard way, ate the pallet and moved on. It’s actually crazy.

Are most Killers unconfident and rusty with their traditional looping now or what?

    1. When 90% of the killer roaster has to deal with looping the same way especially against 4 different survivor's! It get's annoying, old, and boring!
    2. Unmindgameable loops and loops that killer's really can't do nothing about, need to be addressed!
  • After playing survivor for 2 weeks, my opinion still stands about DS, it needs to have deactivation conditions!

I would make it so that if survivors do a gen, hook rescue, heal teammates, etc., The perk deactivates, due to the fact that you have chosen to put yourself back in the game by progressing the match!

  • The perk is #########! Been saying that since the PTB! Why slap a cool down on a hex perk? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a hex perk?

  • @Boss said:

I always play Survivor, just more like a side-dish, i prefer my Wraith over anything and prefer Killer gameplay in general.

Still, i never really dislike playing Survivor, and i prefer it over some Killer Powers.

Recently i put up questions here, like if Repressed Alliance is any good, and Perk build suggestions for being purely altruistic.

So, taking a lot of advice in mind, i tried some stuff and also did my own thing inbetween.

And after a week of doing so now, i can very confidently say for myself...

Survivor gameplay is incredibly boring, or at least in longer play sessions

I don't think i'll ever be doing another week of just Survivor again.

Idk how Survivor-only players hold out.

I out-loop a Killer, making them give up at some point? Nah, don't feel any satisfaction during the chase nor when i lose them.

I manage to stealth all the way through? Kinda cool to pull off, but not engaging.

I repair all trial? I don't mind...for a few matches, but not for a week long.

I'm overly altruistic? I don't feel special at all, i'm just like everyone else. (Also, Altruism is just a different form of repairing: Healing progress bars instead of repairing progress bars.)

I escape? CAN be engaging, i felt excitement when this Huntress WITH HATCHETS was chasing me out of the Exit Gates, dodging 2 of 'em. Most of the time though, if i make it to the Exit Gate, i escape without the Killer in sight.

I die? shrugs 'Kay, never was one to care if i die as Survivor, whether it's a camper or the nicest Killer around.

Items? Barely change how you play, only sabotage-Toolboxes & Keys really do that, but sabotage just ain't my thing, and Keys just make the game shorter.

Add-ons? Don't really wanna get into this, it'd be a long list, but here's the short version: Don't really do anything engaging.

Offerings? Well okay, they weren't really designed to make you be more engaged during the trial, so they get a pass.

Perks? Same as Add-ons honestly, it'd be a long list, but there's barely anything here that's really neat.

I actually liked using Any Means Necessary, For The People, Head On, Red Herring & Repressed Alliance, with Deliverance as a honorable mention.

I know someone would mention Diversion: No! It's a lot of work, and all you can do is make a distant, loud noise.

I especially liked Red Herring, that one's way more fun than i thought it would be.

But other than these, there's nothing really new, y'know?

Aura Perks, healing Perks, sprint Perks, Generator Perks, it's like all Perks will be categorized, and every blue moon there's a cool new ability in a Perk.

And yes, this wasn't the long version of me talking about Perks.

I'm not saying this is problem #1, i would love to see performance be amazing on all platforms at all times. (As long as you hit the system requirements on PC.)

    It's also not problem #2, #3, #4...

But once the problems with higher priorities are gone, what i would love next...

    👏More👏things👏to👏do👏as👏survivor!!!👏

    • More primary objectives, preferably ones that don't make you sit still
    • More secondary objectives that don't reward you with just more BP (Dull Totems (Hex Totems are a good-enough interaction for Survivors currently) or with an Item (Chests).
    • WAY more Perks in the future that alter gameplay, like idk, have one that teleports you to a different Hook (that's further than 32 meters away from this Hook) once you get hooked, and the Killer can't see the Aura of the new hook you're placed on.
    • More Items, like one that, if you hold the button to use the Item, makes Scratchmarks not spawn while you run, but using it takes up charges of course. (A.k.a. a gameplay-changing Item.)

As things are now, i don't think i'll do a Survivor-only week again.

I still do like me some Survivor, but with a lot of moderation!

    Whew, that's a story!

Congrats for making it this far.

Although, if you skipped to here for a TL;DR, you'll be disappointed.

    Your opinion on Survivor gameplay?

I'm MORE than certain someone will feel the exact opposite of me.

As a killer main that main's Spirit, but play's all other killer's I strongly agree, and I think the reasoning behind it is because of the lack of interaction and the lack of skill in survivor gameplay in general!

Not saying that rank matter's but ever since I hit purple ranks I've been playing against red rank killer's and weather I escape or die, I really don't feel any kinda of satisfaction or threat from killer's unless it's Nurse or Spirit because they are the only killer's that shut looping down and force you to use your brain and try to think from their perspective to outplay them!

Idk how survivor mains/survivor only player's do it but I can't get behind survivor gameplay due to the lack of skill, and the fact that I'm outplaying some killer's due to the fact that I understand how they think and play is starting to feel unrewarding to me!

The taking away a few loops from a chase is only at those junk tiles which take like 5-10 seconds to drop.

There already are very little loops left where you are forced to leave. Sorry but in my experience pulling of a mindgame results almost always in a hit. The only time it doesn't is when perks get involved.

And even if it just results in a early pallet drop, that isn't a bad thing. Take away their recource and go back to pressure gens.

Do you want every single loop in the game to be unsafe?

The fact that we have killers such as Wraith, no being able to do ######### at majority loops. Yes! All loops should be unsafe and mindgameable!

This will make it so that all killers have a chance in looping and so that survivors are more careful and weigh they're options instead of just brain dead looping like they've been doing for 1k+ hrs

  • @unsafepallet said:

Looping in this game is so annoying because of the things survivors can do to tilt chases in their favor. Survivor mindgames are incredibly strong because of how much of the killer's time it can end up wasting, meanwhile killer mindgames usually end up removing a second or two from a chase, unless the survivor messes up really bad. Why do killers have to make such meaningful decisions to end chases without getting stunned by every pallet in the game (all while survivors gen rush you in the background), while survivors just have to fake a window vault, stand at a corner, or intimidate a killer into respecting a pallet? It's insane how effective scaring the killer is, shouldn't it be the other way around? Playing killer would be so much more bearable if mindgames were more rewarding. Chases would be more fun if they weren't just looping until you get to the next pallet or vaulting until the window gets blocked. I'm just saying survivors should actually be in danger during a chase.

Also, just in case someone says I just want free hits or something, I'm not asking for every chase to be five seconds, I just want survivors' mistakes to be more punishable than a slightly earlier dropped pallet or one less loop.

This is one of the reason's why I'm a Spirit main!

    1. Spirit can actually do something no matter the situation she's in
    2. Spirit deals with looping differently
    3. Spirit flips the script on survivor's which is why "She is a product of what's wrong with looping"
    4. Spirit doesn't have to rely on survivor's making a mistake or out positioning them

When I play killer's that aren't Nurse or Spirit, mindgaming and dealing with looping in the same manner gets old and boring! When I'm playing survivor and I'm looping, I'm feeding off of direct counterplay information and using common sense and to me that's just not rewarding because I feel like I'm not using any skill to outplay my opponent!

    1. Get rid of Tinkerer! Why? As a fellow Spirit main, Tinkerer is useless on her because she's giving a constant noise notification and won't get much value!
    2. Thanta! Do I really need to explain, especially with the nerf it's getting

I put the Legion. I've been a Legion main since they released but over the years especially after the jump to pc I've realized they're not very fun to play as or against. If you don't play them a certain way they don't work very well in red ranks and if you do play them said certain way its hell on the survivors and while my end goal as a killer is to win and kill as many as I can it starts to feel more like a chore to torture the people I'm playing against. Which becomes much more apparent that they aren't enjoying it when they dc consistently.

I put none because I think the game needs a game health update before reworking/buffing killer's!

To stay on topic with your post I would vote Legion, and you nailed the reasoning's why I believe Legion needs another rework

Wonderful Otz video.I personally think that are potentially all wonderful changes.

I haven't watched the whole video but of the 7 minutes and 48 seconds that I watched. Here's what I disagree with!

Iri heads - While I understand why people hate iri heads, putting a range on to trigger dying is only going to make the add-on useless! Nobody is going to wait or measure out 16m! Someone asks me how far something is I just look and guess, it's not like I'm going to literally waste time measuring it out!

    My Iri head change

    Iridescent Heads

Trigger's dying on a full wind up

    Tremendously incresous wind up time

    Does not stack

I disagree with what he said about Mother-Daughter Ring! As a Spirit main who loves the challenge of Mother-Daughter Ring your going to have to add another positive with that addon if your going to give her negative that defeats the purpose of her power!

OoO - I personally think that OoO should only reveal aura's if the survivor and killer are look in each other's direction

More people need to start doing this, the amount of arguments I've seen about a killer due to the lack of experience they have against them/playing as them is insane.

It's obvious I'm mainly referring to deathslinger here, but this also applies to hag, PH, etc, you know them killers.

Just before I get called out, this does NOT mean I'm trying to say "Oh you're just bad against X killer, git gud". Some killers have some mechanics that are annoying, in fact every killer has something that can be deemed annoying, I hate michael and pig, the killers that are seen as the most "fun" in the game.

But do not complain about something that is caused by your lack of experience playing as or against the killer.

And even, if a killer is annoying you, play that killer and see if you find anything such as strategies, that could help against said annoying mechanic. Don't assume that you're some survivor god who knows everything and all possible outcomes against that killer, as it's likely that there's a main of that killer that knows 100x more than you.

Funny thing is I tell people this all the time! But if we are being honest, there are very few player's like this! Survivor's want to constantly have the 51% advantage in chase and mindlessly loop killers until they are in a dead zone, and killer's just wanna hold W and press M1 when they are close enough!

  • I think a temporary fix for DS would be to just make Enduring effect DS until the devs finally revisit the perk

  • Spirit's Mother-Daughter Ring is practically a debuff because it hides fresh scratch marks forcing her to depend and on sound. (Ring without father's glasses)

  • Survivor: I really feel like I'm not using any skill especially when it comes to looping unless the killer is Nurse or Spirit, and the simple fact that when I play survivor I'm literally bored until I get chased in Endgame Collapse

Killer: The fact that 90% of the killer roaster pretty much has the same playstyle and use the same tactics to deal with survivor's!

Honestly the game has been feeling like stake that runs out of flavor with each bite you take! I'm currently on brake from the game, but I fear that what I said about taking another break from the game is coming true! The more breaks I take from the game to prevent burnout, the harder it get's to come back to the game because ik nothing is going to change about the game! From bugs to game health issues and all the way to stale content

  • They're not asking for 'ez mode' they're simply saying buff all killer's to Fredrick's level so that killer's don't have to literally sweat 24/7, and so their is variety in killer's at high ranks!

Most complaints here on the forums come from mostly high rank players! Spirit, Freddy, Slinger, PH! These are the most commonly complained about killer's and it's simply due to a lack of killer variety which is the product of a lack viability in killer's

I'm 100% against the plaid flannel addon for new nurses now. It's a terrible addon in my opinion.

Welcome brother/sister to The Nurse Club! A lot of us have gone silent due to her nerf making her unfun and her still existent game breaking bugs!

Keep practicing, your pretty far but right around the corner from experiencing why Sally is the best killer in the game! I'm an old school nurse player/main and I learned her back when Plaid Flannel was a purple add-on. By the time I had first gotten that add-on I was already comfortable with my blink ranges!

But I do agree I hate the Plaid Flannel add-on and it pain's me to see other people recommend using that add-on simply because the add-on doesn't teach how to play nurse, instead it teaches player's range's and than they get confused on how to use Nurse because they are more focused on where their going to land instead where they need to blink!

One thing that it feels like every killer on the forums is complaining about at some point is to do with generator speed and how quickly they are completed. Now granted, 2 survs on a generator with a Prove Thyself and a BNP Toolkit can be pretty quick, but that's not what I want to focus on with this thread.

What I instead want to focus on is an observation that I've had with a LOT of DbD content creators and their killer games. I've noticed a disturbing lack in kicked generators in their games, especially when compared to my own play. I see then walk right by generators that are mostly complete and I internally scream "KICK the DAMN GENERATOR." But this got me thinking, is it the fact that killers aren't kicking generators outside of Pop Goes the Weasel in general? Or the fact that regression takes so long to have a noticeable effect on a generator?

Even the reworked Hex: Ruin, reworked not nerfed, gives a fantastic regression to survivors for ditching a generator, but even then it's only at half the rate that they fix the thing with. Now granted that you can keep survivors, especially twitchy solo players, off a generator for a good, long while. The issue is though that damaging a generator currently gives you a quarter of the survivor's progress per second and can be completely cancelled by a small tap. The character model doesn't even have to TOUCH the generator to cancel this!

Now it may just be because I'm a very special type of killer who also runs Surveillance and hasn't pushed into red ranks for several reasons, but I personally find kicking generators to be fairly effective at stalling out survivors. Not so much against better teams, but against the average assortment of solo players, I find it brutal.

Question is then is this: is it time that the regression speed of a generator be increased slightly and make it more enticing for a killer to damage a generator? Killers need to apply pressure, so what better way than depriving a Survivor team of their objective!

Now, I'm not at all saying something like a 50% increase, as Ruin would now be faster at regressing than a Survivor just working on a generator, and let's be honest, for a lot of people generators feel too slow on the Survivor's side but quick on the killer's and that maybe just changing something that people already don't like isn't the way to go. Buffs, not nerfs. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 10% increase, 20% at most as anything further may be a bit too far and how some killers can traverse the map in mere seconds.

So, who's up for more interactivity between sides? Killers kick generators more and the game gets back some of the tactical element! This should also slow down games so that more people can play the killers they WANT to play, rather than just sheer bandwagoning onto whatever's the strongest killer that takes the least amount of effort to learn.

I'll see you in the fog.

I don't think gens or maps are the problem! I can agree with you about gen regression speed, because it'll probably wane PGTW out of the meta.

But I don't think gen speeds or regression is the problem. I think the problem lies within the viability of some killers and there lack of map pressure!

Seriously, yesterday had two people D/C on first down though I ran the killer for 3 gens, and today had 2 people D/C when they saw Huntress had Iri Head

The reason why I disagree with bringing back the DC penalty is simply because of how imperfect their system!

I would change to something for example pay x amount bloodpoints to play again, or reduced bloodpoints gain for x amount of hours!

But than again, their penalty system is imperfect

If I didn't DC at first look at the Huntress, be sure that I will when I notice your Iridescent Head. Sorry not sorry. Even with penalties.

Make sure you complain about Oni, Billy, Leatherface, and Clown as well since you hate the threat of dealing with something strong even though it has the exact same counterplay!

  • Ummm,. isn't Technician suppose to reduce how far away THE KILLER can hear the generator and not muffle the generator sound 100%? And isn't it suppose to affect killer's and not survivor's besides the 50% of the gen not blowing up?

Definitely not, I've got 5100 hours in this game, it's definitely super easy as killer, and my survivor lobbies are about 30 seconds compared to my 15 minute killer lobbies.

God damn! Wanna switch regions? My survivor queues are 15 minutes but my killer queues are instant

    1. The best spirits do happen to play against solos and win just how mm works it happens and sucks. It's terrible currently.

    2. No every killer is viable and not just good due to potato survivors that's really huge claim to prove a point but go crazy.

    3. She can be beaten by genrush which is boring. Survivors wouldnt be forced to gen rush her if she had chase counterplay. Also if she did the spirit would have a higher skill ceiling and people would actually have to improve their game more to play her. She would still have insane chase power but now it's harder to sue and shes no longer jsut a nurse for players who dont want to put in effort.

The devs also said DS used outside of tunneling is smart. By that logic you shouldnt complain about DS that stuns you when you arent tunneling but you so right?

It's not about mindless looping it's a killer that takes very little skill for a big payout that you cant really do anything against.

Cant argue yourself though lol. Never replied to me

I'm at that point with DS were idgaf anymore, survivors acting bold because of DS or force DS on me, I will make it my mission to make them wish they used DS to not be tunneled!

Granted there are still some problems with DS, but I firmly believe that if Enduring still had an effect on DS, the perk wouldn't be too much of a problem!

Sorry for the late reply, didn't get the notification

  • That's the way Spirit is suppose to be! A guessing game! Spirit is also a product of what's wrong with looping! Survivors are use to peaking around the corner and/or looking for the red stain to counter a killer! Spirit flips the script on survivors and they don't like that! While at the same time killers mindgaming is guessing and hoping that survivors bake a mistake!

Just because you can't mindlessly loop a killer doesn't mean they're broken!

Generally if I've had fun the whole match, and they haven't been trolling me and actually trying to play the right way I will often give the last survivor the hatch or close hatch and let the last one escape.

I see it as a sign of respect, like okay. You've played a fair game, you've evaded me, managed to escape and you haven't been toxic about it. Go on Lil one get out of here.

Depends! If they outplayed tf out of me than I'll let them live! If it was a meh game or I'm feeling generous I'll let the last survivor pick their fate! They wiggle they die, they don't wiggle they live

I play both sides but seriously Survivor have to many of them lol

    Dead Hard

Unbreakable (Uncounterable with D-Strike if Killer is only down you again)

D-Strike(I know Tunneling but can also be used as crutch. Uncounterable)

    Borrowed Time

Adrenaline(Uncounterable with BT, especially in Endgame besides you maybe play Bubba)

Soul Guard(even if it is situational)

"OH I (Survivor) had made a mistake where the Killer should got me? Nope I had my 2 Chance's. I should put them all together lmao"

Not forget if all 4 have them equipped... 🙄🤔

Survivor's having second chances isn't the problem! The problem lies within the synergy in them, the amount they can use within a single chase, and survivor's denying killer's a chance to counter them (like using DH for distance and jumping in a locker with an active DS).

While I don't have a problem with second chances perks, I think survivor's should be limited to the amount they can use within a single chase! For example if your getting tunneled right off the hook and you go down and use DS, they shouldn't be able to use DH since they've already used 1 second chance!

  • Yeah once it hits 5 stacks I can hit great skill checks for days!

  • He needs a flick, but I would rather him have like a 50 degree flick though

This game revolves around gambles. You gamble when you take an unsafe hook, you gamble when you start working on a hex totem, you gamble when you run any loop with a LoS blocking wall.

Since you can't check every blade of grass for traps, you gamble when trapper chases you into grass. What you are talking about is just the illusion of counterplay. The fact that spirit turns every tile into a truly balanced 50/50 coin toss for either side and she's seen as unbalanced tells volumes as to how unbalanced this game is in the favor of survivors and the tiles that survivors can run.

I've been saying this for this longest! Spirit is a product of what's wrong with looping! Survivor's don't like guessing or the fact that she keeps all information for herself, while most Spirit user's don't like having to mindgame like 90% of the killer roaster which is hoping that survivor's make a mistake after feeding them false information
