What, did you ask them all individually or something? Don't pull statistics out of your ass.
I checked the previous post by @Orion and there were clearly more "Vote Up" against than pro

Why?
Let me preface by saying I'm not LGBT-phobic or spreading hate speech or anything, I'm just stating my opinion.
If a character is made ONLY to be LGBT and that's their WHOLE personality, then it wouldn't be a good addition, neither would cheesily integrating it into a character's current lore.
WHY does it matter if there's an LGBT character? Why do we need one? What's the point? "oH hEY gUys, wE aDdeD An LGBT cHaRIcTer." I don't care whether my character is a regular ass person or a goddamn gay tomato, I just want the gameplay to be good.
There just isn't a reason.
Thank you for coming to my very short TED talk.
I would say more than 50% of the players are against LGTB stuff in the game

Ok, Devs, it's time to do something about slugging. Why do you let killers down ALL of the survivors, and then LET the last one get lost?! Seriously! It happens every time! You could stay in the EXACT same spot and the killer A) either ignores you in lue of closing the hatch or B) forgets when they downed you and can't find you! It's time for a failsafe so you're not stuck in a game for two minutes where all you can do is crawl around or get slammed with a dc penalty because you've lost anyways. Maybe give the last survivor an aura ( if they're not within x amount of meters away from the hatch) or put some sort of environmental aid in to help ( maybe the campfires or already completed gens?). I'm looking to make it reasonable for both sides and I know this will get back lash, but game after game of this happening is right annoying.
It would be fine some mechanism to accelerate the bleeding up and die faster when being slugged

I'm speaking in general. I mean that what you yourself use personally every match will not line up with what other people are more prone to use. That's why saying stuff like "I wouldn't use it for powerful stuff. I'd just use low-powered for fun perks" doesn't really matter. Because other people absolutely would use it for powerful stuff as opposed to just for fun.
saying that and nothing is the same lmao of course there will be all types of different usages of the perks
-
@TAG said:

And some people use NOED every single match.
so what? the 5th perk suggestion is only for char's perks, not global perks
-
@White_Owl said:
That doesn't account for the fact that some killers have stronger teachables than others. You could have a Hag with the busted build of Ruin+Undying and other 3 perks, or a Wraith with... I don't actually know which of his teachable is worse.
You gotta be kidding... I use LB in every single match

too bad killers are limited in what they can do by power which this just makes it 100% better for survivors which are just skins right now
5 meta perks with no need to build around character makes this 100% better from them and makes me 100% not on board with this idea you can take your 20 meta perk swf back where it came from
the 5-minutes countdown adds additional balance (original post has been edited)

A count down sounds interesting.
Of course I don't think this would work well in normal games, but this could be a fun little gamemode in KYF.
The count down is probably the best suggestion or limitation to the usage of the 5th perk.
Thanks buddy, I am updating the original post then with it

@Yords said:
Well with this try to remember that certain survivor perks are better than others. So if someone runs DS with laurie, then they practically have DS as base kit if they choose it, or unbreakable on bill. Good survivors are strong without good perks, with perks they are really tough to catch. With this they would become almost impossible to catch. lol can you imagine a survivor with DS, Unbreakable, adrenawin, BT, AND iron will? It would be overwhelming for killers. Even a 5th perk slot for a killer would only do so much, remember that the reason survivor perks are stronger than killers is because there is no direct counter to them. With killer, there is plenty of counter play with things like BBQ or hex totems in general. For survivors, they not only have strong perks, but they have perks that stack 4 times since there are four survivors. Same thing goes for if they had 5 perks.
The bloodpoint reduction seems kind of redundant to this, it isn't going to stop people from using the offering.
well that's the beauty of diversity and making choices :D
BPs reduction I agree is not the best constraint to balance but some additional ideas can be added up such as:
- countdown timer of 5 minutes for usage of the 5th perk slot
- it can be used only when there are X gens done
- it can be used only when doors are powered
- etc etc etc creative restrictions to balance

That's not the problem I'm referring to. The issue is that opening up a fifth perk slot fundamentally results in there being less variety among meta perk builds since you can now just include more meta perks in a build.
You "can" or not

@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1801074#Comment_1801074
You have to generalize when discussing how something could potentially be abused balance-wise. You can't just say "Oh, we could implement this thing because it could be fuuuuuun, let's not worry about how it affects the game balance-wise because fun!"
Since everyone has a chance to have the same "power" then it is balanced
-
@TAG said:

If it ends up reaching a point where it would have to be "ridiculously rare" to not be a detriment to the game's health, that's a sign that it's probably a bad idea.
nope, it is rather an experiment to be moved to ultra-rare oddity or to be removed
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1801020#Comment_1801020
No, it wouldn't be an Ultra Rare item if it did not have the same odds as other Ultra Rare items. It'd be an entire class of Rarity all to itself.
Then it would be cool a special category like with a golden color in the background, call it "ridiculously rare" or smth
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1801016#Comment_1801016
Then it's not an Ultra Rare offering anymore, is it?
Still ultra rare but internally it has a very low % of chances to appear in the bloodweb if devs believe so
-
@TruffleTurtle said:

Idk it just seems hard to balance. Even if it is a tier 1 perk, why have it if its restrictive on what perks can be used. Also I dont think BP gain is a good downside because there r ppl that dont care for bloodpoints
And some care a lot about BPs and equip "We're Gonna Live Forever", but yes, more additional creative restrictions can be added
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1801009#Comment_1801009
Pretty often, considering how often Ebony Mori shows up in the bloodweb. As someone who stocks up on my preferred add-ons for my main, it is VERY easy to save up enough such that you'll basically never run out. And that's just for me. Now imagine an entire player base having the option to do that.
Devs can easily reduce % of chances below the Ebony Mori if they believe it is too powerful offering
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1801002#Comment_1801002
Disagree. It would result in meta perk builds becoming more homogenized.
How many trials do you expect to have a 5th perk considering it is an ultra-rare offering? ba-lan-ce vs more fun
-
@Moundshroud said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1800974#Comment_1800974
No, I think it should be automatic, not an Offering. The game knows when 3+ people joined a Lobby together. The code has a way to identify a SWF. That is the only time it should happen so there is no guesswork. I don't think it should EVER be an offering. It should be tied to the number of people joining a lobby together.
That's sounds ok but it is such a buff people will disagree with you more.
Having it as ultra-rare offering limits way more its usage
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1800971#Comment_1800971
I agree. It would be problematic either way.
Just 1 extra perk will increase our fun yet being balanced (due to the restrictions). We have way too many perks to select already
-
@BasementDweller said:
Instead of the blood point reduction, it makes the 5th perk only tier 1 or tier 2.
Sounds like a good restriction as well to have the 5th perk tier 1 only, although for some perks it is not really relevant
-
@Moundshroud said:
The only reason I would endorse a 5th Perk would be for the Killer when facing an SWF of 3+ people. This would be done to offset the 5th Perk (Comms) that a SWF employs.
If you see in the lobby 4 blendettes with flashlights you could predict they are pesky SWF and equip this offering
-
@TAG said:
Nope. I'd just stock up on them and then blow though them all at once to have many games in a row with 5 perks.
It doesn't matter if you use them in a row or every month once lol
-
@TruffleTurtle said:
I'd rather not, it would just cause more problems
I disagree. 5th perk will make gameplay more fun and it will still balanced, it is just ONE perk and you refuse your oferings & -25% BPs

one question... can a Head On hit block Viktor in the air while he is attacking?? what is the result?
A) Viktor gets crushed (and you do not get hit)
B) You get hit (and Viktor not crushed)
C) No effects
D) Both get crushed + hit
E) Game CRASH

I never understood why this game brings out the worst in some people. I get the game is stressful, but saying all of this over a video game is just so mean and honestly kinda sad. Its probably just a bad day mixed with a bad situation, but there's no excuse for death threats and homophobic slurs. They said worse stuff but I'm not too sure what is or isn't allowed to be posted here so I just posted the tame stuff.
To sum the game up: I hooked someone in the first 15 seconds, I turn around and see someone trying to blend in with the corn thats 8 feet in front of me with the new froggie suit and downed them instantly, I look over at the hook while my chainsaw is finishing revving and the third survivor literally runs besides me to run to the hook, I down her and the last guy just sits on bones and lets her team die. Sure it sucks when games end fast over teammates not playing smart, but that's hardly the killers fault.
Is there anyway to report these guys directly to someone? Or is the in-game report the only way?
nothing too special, that is even soft for what I have been called in the after chats
you simply took a portrait of today's sick society

We all know that one perk, that one perk we would love to run but don't because other perks are just better.
These perks suffer from 5th perk syndrome. If I had 5 perks slots, I would run those perks, but I don't because I only have 4. The perk does not just have to be good at what it is doing, but also be better than any perk I am currently running.
Off the top of my head, both deathslinger's and PH's perks suffer from this syndrome greatly.
I would go for a 5th perk experiment during the weekend

I wasn't educated by the media. I've had a strong distain for it ever since I was aware of the concept. You really shouldn't assume that everyone who finds the very obvious insanity of your claims palpable to just be brainwashed. In fact, I'll give you a chance to actually explain yourself now.
How exactly is the imagery in DeadbyDaylight intentionally satanic and what do the powers that be stand to gain from putting them in the game to begin with?
thanks buddy, you seem awaken enough, I will try to summarize the key points
- The Illuminati agendas are globalist trends that aim at controlling even more the humanity creating misery, social differences, sensation of separation, and more, including the Climate Change (to invest billions for an invisible enemy), LGTB (to confront gender identities instead and destroying families/natality), Transhumanism (to erase our traces of humanity, thats why the delay of Cyberpunk 2077 game cuz they wanted the perfect game), and of course, satanism, since they worship entities from different dimensions, and receive in return benefits in real life; you can check their symbolism in the majority of music videos, predictive-programing movies... but I would need a wall of text to explain you those
- DBD has been progressively increasing their satanic illuminati agenda through symbolism and the gameplay itself. The most basic example is the sacrifice you do virtually, but in a multidimensional world it works in different ways we cannot demonstrate but we can have a clue; every time you express emotions of anger or frustration, entities from other dimensions are eating that energy. How? it is believed that "psychomagic" of symbolism opens portals to such entities such as: inverter pentagrams (in rank level), the all seeing eye the buy has in his hand floating in the rift, triangles/pyramids everywhere, killers linked to illuminati movies such as pyramid head, the cosmetics of horns everywhere, even in the exit gates above in the columns that escaping means going to hell...
- In other words, playing DBD gathers energy to interdimensional entities and parasite you to behave agresively and without energy, leading to depression, anxiety, etc... the real intentions and outcomes of this game are hidden and only known by the argument creator (that arab-like girl I dont remember), while Cotè and the Lead designer might know something, and their bosses know it all. Consider absolute secretism is vital to the illuminati lodges they belong, and it is even more important than their career or families
I would be happy to explain you more, but there is so much info to disclose :=) I hope this is enough?

Honestly, the only change they had to do is : set a maximum of 1 flashlight per lobby
They have broken every survivors' mechanics now. It's boring...
It's xmas and devs have a lot of vacations, they said in the stream, you gotta wait a while to see the fixes done
-
@maderr said:
My experience :
- The angle is now smaller, around 60° it doesn't work anymore
- The effective distance is smaller too, 6/8 meters away, it doesn't work anymore
Thanks developpers, it was already hard enough to flashlight save, now you make it random. At this point, you can remove the flashlight if it bothers you so much.
Good news I don't need LightBorn and have room for extra perk :D

I'm just curious how much people are enjoying killer at the moment. I have been enjoying killer for some time but in the last 5 montths or so I have been losing more and more motivattion. But it might just be me getting burned out and doing worse for that reason, so I wanted to hear what others have to say.
Obviously this patch has added many bugs as well that's making the game even more frustrating, but I'm rather talking generally.
I think what's really ruining it for me, besides frustrating bugs with the individual killers, is the sound bug. It's been a whole year since they broke the sound and nothing has been fixed.
And of course there's gen rush. Now it's debateable whether the gens go too fast or not. I actually think gens are balanced on certain maps at least, differing between killers of course. But that doesn't change the fact that the way gens work now just makes killer gameplay very stressful at times, whether the gens are balanced or not. And that coupled with all the bugs in the game and losing survivors because the sound doesn't work, is just frustrating to me personally.
I only enjoy the more toxic I play, otherwise you are just like a labourer for the entity

Survivor Stand Point:
- Victor just evolves around slugging, can be quiet aggravating at times and i think alot of people will dc to this killer for that reason
- Very hard to pip against the twins due to the fact you rarely get into chases and you get chases lost points due to victor so getting evader emblems is near impossible. Due to the fact alot of victors like to camp, getting an unsafe unhook isn't uncommon either.
- Gets rewarded for camping, self explanatory.
- You get minimal bloodpoints going against the twins due to the fact you dont get chase points with victor. youd be lucky to get 15k
- Relies on other survivors to play against this killer, playing against twins in solo could be a nightmare
Killer Stand Point:
- Very buggy, dont even start with that bug where you unrelease him and he falls into the ground and gets stuck
- Windows Counter him almost too much
- Landing hits can be very difficult (impossible at some objects) if survivors loop around average objects like rocks due to the movement speed while charging and charge time not being balanced together.
- Holding power hostage for 45 seconds is too much. Charlotte should be able to call victor back at will.
- Even if you down a survivor, getting to that survivor is a pain due to the fact you need so switch and walk the whole way there.
Other then that i find them very fun to play and decently fun to verse but the constant slugging and camping does my head in a bit.
thats all i have to say.
sorry dude, these opinions are duplicated in this important thread:
