This is an open forum - everyone is allowed to comment on the threads on the forum @InnCognito please do not try to exclude people from commenting, that's not something that's appreciated here. Feeback posts are like any other discussion, people are free to give feedback on your idea - that's how forums work.
-
OK locking this now because it seems a lot of you are unable to have a discussion without being aggressive and throwing out insults...and we will not tolerate that on the forum. This is warning to all of you on this thread to cool it and discuss things civilly!
-
Mori spam like this, is bannable - it's griefing.
I've removed the link due to naming & shaming rules on the forum.
-
Happy Holidays everyone <3
-
Just want to say thank you to everyone on this thread, for keeping all this within our rules and being positive - it's really great to see <3
-
You can see survivor aura's when using BBQ - you see their aura's when you hook another player, providing that the survivor is not hiding in a locker.

Fog Whispers are not given "tons" of Auric Cells, they are given some to promote the new content - new skins, new chapters etc but they certainly don't get "hundreds of thousands" of them. They are also given codes for the DLC's to give away on their Streams/YouTube channels again to promote the new content.
It's all about promotion, these people have been chosen as Fog Whisperers and yes there are some benefits to that (as mentioned above) but not as many as you seem to think.
Giving Auric Cells to the entire community would be financially impossible!
However if you wish to enter the raffle to win some Auric Cells, please feel free to enter here: https://twitter.com/DeadByBHVR/status/1209211998250119169

It's a raffle, you put your information on the form.

You are not currently able to add Windows Store users as "friends" in order to play with them from your Steam account. This is something that will be implemented in the future I believe but I do not have a set date for this as yet.
-
Intentional or not, is not really the point.
The point is whether it's going to stay or not, and afaik there are no plans to change it currently.
As I said, the same thing happened with the Harvester Tech, it was in the game for a long while before it was recognised as an actual "tech", then officially recognised after it got added back into the game. This "tech" may or may not go the same way.
-
No it's not bannable in the slightest - as a killer you can hit them immediately afterwards.
As to whether it was fully intended shrug but it's here now.
Harvester Tech was officially recognised in the Oni patch and I don't believe that was fully intended either.

The game is rated 18+ - it's a parents responsibility to protect their children online! This is something that I feel very strongly about, people blame the internet, games etc whilst the parents allow their children to be online unrestricted and without proper supervision...Parents are the first and main line of defence and should imo be more vigilant with their children online!
-
Legacy will not be coming back - we have the Hallowed Blight skins which are the closest thing to Legacy.
This question gets asked and answered pretty much weekly on the forum, hence I am going to close this thread now.
-
As the OP is not intent on having any discussion, I am closing this thread as it serves no purpose on the forum.
The DC Ban system is only in a testing phase, I would like to emphasis that.
-
My understanding is that when they are totally ready they will be moved to live on all platforms.
Right now there's still adjustments to be made to the dedicated servers to get them exactly where they need to be, and testing things like the DC bans for example and then when everything is ready, they will go live to all platforms - I do not have a time frame on that at all though.
It's absolutely nothing to do with "console having no priority"!
-
Whilst the resources might have been there, it's not as easy to implement as you seem to think - don't forget that we've had a few engine upgrades since last Winter and a lot of things have changed, it's not something that can be added in an hour! The decision has been made to focus on other things, and I fully support the decision.
-
Sorry this game is no longer for you, have fun with whatever game you play in the future.
-
I was stuck between Die Hard and Home Alone, but Bruce Willis took it by a hair!
-
๐๐๐๐๐๐
Thank you for this, it's really lovely to see something positive first thing in the morning (for me at least).
Believe it or not, we all love what we do - regardless of negative posts etc, we all love the Community and love being part of it.
-
There's no such option, if you are playing on PC (or Switch), you're playing on Dedicated Servers.
-
I like this, I'd also like a way to find perks easier, I know they're alphabetical but I often forget what colour they are for example (especially on newer perks that I've not used much of) - plus I'm colour blind so struggle anyway!

As of December 17th, 11 AM ET, we have enabled the new disconnect penalty test. This new system punishes players for disconnecting excessively with an escalating timeout before they can queue again.
If you have any feedback for this test, please be sure leave it below.
Additionally, if you experience any issues with this test (e.g. Skipping straight to a longer penalty after one disconnect), please let us know roughly when it happened. Someone from BHVR will contact you through a private message in order to investigate further.
Thanks!
Just going to link this thread here, please leave your feedback there so we can have it in one place if possible <3
-
We currently do not want to communicate that information for two reasons.
Numbers will most likely change in the future
Abusing the system is a lot easier when you have all the information (this is also the reason we were not publishing threshold for DC bans before)
-
We can make one change of name (it's not a regular thing) so please make sure what you want to change it to. You can let me know on my profile wall what you wish to change it to and I will get that arranged for you.
-
Personally, I'd hate to see all the little pieces of "tech" removed from the game, I think little things like this make the game more fun and enjoyable...same as the harvester tech which just got restored.
-
Make sure you first reported the player/s in game (this is MANDATORY). Then send any additional evidence such as video to Support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
-
Whilst I understand your frustration, this thread is going to achieve nothing on the forum. Plus you already opened another discussion about the same thing only 2 days ago!
-
As you've been advised we don't deal with the mobile version of the game here because it's a different team.
Also, the Samsung A series phones are not equivalent to the S series - they are weaker sadly.
-
I miss that tractor - I used to enjoy running on it :(
-
It's within 6 ranks at the start of the match - the score board that is at the end, can look different due to someone ranking up within the match. For example that Rank 1 could have been Rank 2 at the start of the match, then it would have been within the 6 ranks (2-8). And the killer could also depip as well as a survivor pipping which makes it look like there's a bigger gap than there was at the start of the match.
-
Going to lock this now. Thanks to those of you who heeded the warning that I put on this thread in particular and discussed the topic sensibly and civilly, sadly there were a fair few that were unable to do this - and as I've had to delete a lot of those posts, I have no choice but to lock this topic.
-
Putting a warning right now on this - discuss the points of the videos freely, DO NOT INSULT EITHER PERSON!
-
They are not out on XBox yet, nor or PC...I am sure we will all be notified when they go live.
-
It's P3 Quentin's for me - one I rarely see them in a match, and secondly if I do spot them I lose them again really quickly because they blend so well. (it's much harder to see a p3 Quentin than it is a p3 Claudette for example).
I know if I see one in the lobby, then I'm going to struggle that match - although it is rare to see P3 Quentins in the game, it's probably the character that I see the least.
-
I would not like to see Sabo removed from the game, I do think that it needs some sort of change right now because it appears to be very rare to see people sabo'ing. I must admit, I enjoy sabo'ing hooks and do it regularly, but right now it is a matter of running Empathy and sabo'ing all of the hooks on a map and hoping that nobody runs near the basement.
It doesn't always pay off, and quite often I find myself slugged (added unbreakable to my sabo build now) but I'm still enjoying the game - I've not had any complaints from killers after the match either, even if I've pulled off a clutch save. Possibly because when I'm doing sabo games, I'm not working on gens so much only hooks and totems. So the games are naturally a bit slower.
I think it shows that different objectives are a great thing for survivors to have.
-
Safe pallets I will pretty much always break (on PC, don't play often on console), unsafe ones, it depends on whether or not I need to break them at that point. A safe pallet, the survivor will more often then not force me to break that pallet anyway, because they're usually not leaving that area until that pallet is broken which is why on strong loops like the shack, the quicker you can get that pallet out of the way the better.
-
I don't miss them, in fact I don't think I've ever used a map offering since I started playing (2016), I've got hundreds of them. I tend to use the offerings for extra BP's more than anything else, and often forget to bring in those even.
-
When I initially started playing, flapping arms wildly on the hook was the way to signal that the killer was camping, and slower movements (where you nearly complete the whole bar) was meaningless...I do this to avoid being bored for example, over time though those actions have pretty much been interpreted differently and now they mean less than before.
For me now in game, I tend to rely on what I can see and what I hear to make my decision of whether or not the killer is camping.
-
hahahahaha Not_Queen, we posted at the same time as well. :)
-
The forums are a place for a lot of different types of discussions, some are rants when things don't go the way people want them to, some are genuine constructive feedback, some are ideas, some are for help on things and some people genuinely want to discuss things.
That's why I think the forums are a great idea.
And for what it's worth, whilst we listen to feedback and ideas etc - we don't automatically jump to nerf or buff things by reading posts that are purely ranting. Please give the developers and ourselves some credit in our ability to see what is genuine feedback and someone just having a bad few games.
-
Sorry that DBD is no longer for you, hope you find another game you enjoy playing.
-
I love the fact that the licensed characters got them as well, I think Ash's one is great and I especially love Susies one.
-
Thank you @HellDescent I will get this information to the right people.
I apologise for locking your thread, but there are a few people who are intent on arguing with each other here, and that's not exactly helping the situation.
-
What platform are you on please?

no, i want publish for proof .
This would be against our forum rules - and not something we appreciate on the forums.
-
Sorry, but there is no cross platform between console users and PC users in the game.
Right now, Windows Store players can play with Steam players - all of them are on PC however.
-
I'm going to lock this, as it's clear the OP is not interested in having an actual discussion about this topic.
