This is part of the escalation process, and it limits posting for 1 week.
And the reason you might not have seen the post that got the user "jailed", because we remove these posts as they break our forum rules.

I love unique chase music normally, but this one I wasn't personally very keen on at all - the volume also seemed a bit all over the place to me.
-
Closing this for some pretty obvious reasons
-
Due to the total disrailment of this thread by certain individuals I'm closing it right here.
-
You can't use Pop on an already regressing generator as you won't be able to kick the gen to activate Pop. You can still use it if/when the totem is cleansed however.
-
Posts like this are really not helping the situation - and are there effectively to just bait people, please don't do this again!
-
I'm going for other, because I'd really like to see more map reworks as I think this could solve many issues.
-
Surveillance only needs a gen to be regressing to activate - so yes, this does work very well with the proposed changed to Hex Ruin.
-
Yes, that's going to be a pretty powerful combo I believe.
-
The Developer Notes were just that, not the full patch notes - you will need to wait until the PTB to see what other changes there are.
-
I think it's going to be interesting to see the synergy with Surveillance...
-
Yeah PGTW does not work on gens that are already regressing, so whilst the totem is still up you will be unable to use pop.
-
yes you don't kick the gen with the new version of Ruin, because it's already regressing. Don't kick and can't kick.
-
No you don't need to kick the generator - it regresses automatically as soon as the survivor leaves go of the gen....you cannot regress an already regressing generator even further, so you don't kick the gen further.
The new version of the Gatekeeper emblem is less punishing for killers who currently lose 1 or 2 gens in the early stages of the match, and also there is now the addition of being able to get extra Gatekeeper points for the exit gates remaining closed. It will help to get a stronger result in the Gatekeeper emblem
And thank you for remaining so calm and discussing the proposed changes, I look forward to reading your feedback after you've tried things out on the ptb.
-
Can I remind you that it's still got to be tested on the PTB - numbers can still be adjusted, please just try it out, then give feedback on it.
-
Going to close this right now, as it has nothing constructive in it to discuss
-
These are not the full patch notes - just a starter of what is in the PTB, you'll find out the full information tomorrow.
-
Thank you for your very constructive feedback!
-
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/117488 all information about the proposed changes (there will be a PTB first) can be found on this thread.

Everything is explained here - https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/117488

Devs dont listen to killers, only survivors, facts.
Of course this is true - after all there has been no recent changes that have affected killers positively have there? Oh wait, Freddy got a really large rework and is now pretty strong, Balanced Landing got altered and that was a huge Killer complaint and many many more things. Fact is the Developers are not killer or survivor sided, they make changes for the better health of the game!
-
I'd suggest trying it out on the PTB before writing off the changes, you might be pleasantly surprised by the changes.

PC's have Shadowplay (with Nvidia GPU's) which you can set to record your gameplay as well as other programmes such as OBS for example.
Consoles have their own built in functions, more information on that can be found on this thread:

You shouldn't be hit if you are fully inside the locker @GrootDude
-
Did you get any video of it by any chance?
It's not an issue that I've come across on PC, I don't have any problems getting Head On stuns. I'm wondering if it was a connection issue between or possibly a KYF issue.
-
I'm going to close this and suggest the OP ask the streamer herself why she has done this - it's her choice, and up to her if she wants to answer the question.
-
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest This is a list of reportable things in DBD - you'll find what you're looking for near the bottom of the initial post under Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Lag Switching is reportable and is bannable (temp ban).
-
I can do this, it's actually only myself or Luzi that can do it.
@Richtofen if you want to let me know what name you decide on, write on my wall and I'll get it done for you.

its funny how every time I make a pole anyone without a job or who does not play any other games replies I'd like some people who do not have endless amount of time to play this game to also vote thanks
I play many other games, run 2 businesses as well as work for BHVR and am a single parent. It doesn't change my answer!
-
The poll is pretty biased - my answer is No, but that's not because I spend all my time playing the game but because a game like this needs the grind. That's what keeps a lot of people playing, they want that grind to get the perks etc on all their characters and it's already become way less of a grind than it used to be.
-
@scorpio yes please submit the ticket and thanks for taking the time to do this.
-
IF you've reported in game, the chat logs will be kept and reviewed - I'd also advise sending a Support Ticket with the relevant information https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=191426
But the in game report must have been made otherwise there's nothing we can do.
-
I actually don't know the reason why, I'm presuming it's an oversight more than anything intentional...but I could be wrong. I will do my best to find out.
-
Just to correct some information here. I can't say whether or not you will receive a ban firstly, that's up to the ACM's if there has been a report made. But we do not hand out warnings - we do temporary bans and permanent bans (temp bans can lead to permanent bans by escalation) but there's certainly no warnings in place.

They were obtained normally through the bloodweb prior to adding him to the platform

I'm closing this, I would like to remind you all that remaining civil & respectful towards people is part of our forum guidelines and as such, when someone asks a question we do not tolerate someone saying "this is a stupid question".
@SambaSaw I hope it's clear now that this is a perk called Mad Grit and it works as it's designed to, it can be combined comfortably with Agitation and there's no issues in using it. I apologise on behalf of the other users on this forum who were unable to answer your question in a more respectful manner!
-
I'm actually not certain if they will appear in the new bloodwebs for the perks that you have at low tiers - I've not actually come across that before. I suspect you'd have to unlock the teachables before the game recognised that you can get them at higher tiers.
All this is due to Bill not being released on console initially (due to licensing restrictions), but the addition of him to the Console release has been overwhelmingly positive so far.
-
Yes, you would need to level up Bill to get these perks - they were not initially teachable perks prior to the release of Bill, they were in the base game.
-
This is due to the instance when Bill was added to console. Previously his perks were unlockable in the regular way but when he got added to the game on Console, his perks became teachable perks and need to be unlocked the same way as they are for other characters.
-
You are free to report AFK killers/survivors - it's not something that I would immediately think is bannable but it certainly isn't playing the game as intended, and yes it would fall under Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
I'm going to say though, you certainly won't be banned for 1 match when you are AFK (it's actually happened to me, got distracted whilst waiting for a lobby and missed the match!) but if it's something that someone is doing consistently, then yes that can be looked at.
-
ohhhh another one that I really love, the rage of the Huntress when she get stunned, she sounds so angry!
-
Do you know what I really like about the challenges?
They're totally optional! You don't have to do them.
Sorry that something didn't work with your game and that you didn't get the challenge that you were attempting, but believe me, the Developers work incredibly hard on the game and try to make it as fun as they can for everyone - and try to fix things as quickly as possible, sometimes things aren't so easy and it takes time, but for anyone to imply that they don't care about the game and only care about money is disingenuous at the very least.
-
The sound of Ghostface's leathers :)
-
@Go_Go_Roboto I've edited your post - please don't advertise on our forum in this manner!
-
I'm locking this here, way too much insulting going on in this thread.
-
There is no confirmed word IF crossplay will happen - it's something that we'd like to see in the game but it's not known when or even if it will happen.
-
Report in game, send additional video evidence to Support - it's the same way for all reports for anything that happens in game.
Please tell us why you are reporting this playerPlease note, in game reports are mandatory.
-
There is no bug here @Accullla is quite correct in their summation.
White Wards are designed to protect the item that is in your hand when you die, not items that you've left in the trial for whatever reason. If it worked differently, then there would be the possibility to duplicate items regularly.
