Why do you do it? Why do you add skins for licensed characters that aren't even in the movie? Look at what you did to ghostface, he has literal ice outfit and am I expected to get excited when I see him? It's dumb. Nemesis with his blighted outfit, why? You ruined his look from RE3. He should've gotten a skin from the older games but not a blighted one. I just really hope Michael Myers doesn't get a blighted skin because I thought dbd was a game where we have these horror icons but you're changing their appearance? Oh I'm going against sadako? Hell yeah, oh wait, what is that new skin she has? THAT'S NOT EVEN SADAKO. All I hope is for people to not buy these outfits because they completely change the characters look and makes a licensed character less worthy. I mean, would you have bought nemesis if his blighted skin was his default?

What an odd complaint lol anyways

ghostface in dbd isn't the same from the movies, infact the one from the movies isn't even the original ghostface. Ghostface is owned by funworld and they are the ones that approve or give ideas for the cosmetics. It is why some of the dbd ghostface masks are even real life masks now. Nemesis' look wasn't ruined, you don't have to use the cosmetic, and even then capcom themselves approved the skin so now you are arguing that the creators of nemesis themselves are wrong? You are also wrong, it is sadako lol, it is a legendary skin that changes her appearance. It is based off the novel and japanese renditions. Most likely yes people would've bought nemesis if his blighted skin was default lol people have their own personal opinions about things and what they like, hence why skins are made in the first place (which again have to be approved by the license holders lol)

Boons directly conflict with survivors cleansing totems and I think its an issue that should be adressed.

Inner healing is a perk that hurts your team more than do good especially with more boons being added to the game.

Then boons hurt you when you deal with perks like noed.

Pentimento is a perk that almost never works because no one cleanses.

And this leads to another issue.

At first I thought boons should be another objective for survivors but boy how wrong I was.

It actually made survivors waste less time with totems and focus more on rushing gens,at least in the past before boons, some survivors cleansed totems, now not anymore.

Another issue is that they gave the killer another objective after already having so much to deal with.

I think boons are really overpowered in a coordinated swf team.

A change that I think could work is just make it so survivors can only bless cleansed dull and hex totems.

If you want your boons then you gotta cleanse first.

Boons aren't a problem, it is just CoH. I don't know how many of these posts that say the same thing need to exist before it gets across. Nerfing boons doesn't fix the problem, and only makes the other 3 boons worse and CoH still is a problem. They are also not a secondary objective for killers, they are most quite literally a secondary objective for survivors. As killer you could just...ignore them all game and do fine. It will definitely be harder but it is YOUR choice to make.

I do agree with other survivor perks like inner healing being affected but that is more of a problem of the perk itself than boons.

Nerf CoH, and boons are fine. That is the problem.

It's because the game is balanced by devs and by a community who don't see their own bias. It's fine for survivors to have a free escape if they're the last one, but killer shouldn't have bloodlust. Breakable walls are killer sided, not survivor sided. Up is down.

dawg it takes one look at the forums, subreddit, really anywhere to see a majority of people complaining is killer players, besides maybe twitter.

Also ironically with your comment about bias you aren't ignoring your own killer bias by acting like the whole world is against you and game is unfair.

    I don´t agree.

While sure, he´ll get better in time. A new killer is bound to face far more experienced survivors that will roflstomp him. Which obviously led to this thread. If a killer wants to play fair, then he´ll barely get kills. At least with the current meta. Only playing "scummy" leads to kills. But then he´ll feel the wrath of salty survivors which will haunt his profile and leave toxic messages.

After reading this thread, i´m probably the only one who felt some kind of empathy for the OP.

Instead of getting some building up words he just got rage comics as response, which is kinda sad and a reflection of our community.

@9InchDeck what killer where you playing? Maybe i can give you tips on what to improve.

Is it really a reflection on a toxic community, or a community tired of the same filler posts? It is fairly common knowledge now to anyone that is good at the game or actually care about trying to be better that the game isn't that unbalanced, and it is usually just newer players or players that are stubborn that deny that idea. I'm not doubting that a new player will struggle, but let's be real, ANY new player to a game that is almost 6 years old is gonna struggle, most people have a pretty good grasp on what it takes to win and what the best strategies are.

    Plus comics funny

  • @Zozzy said:

Oh yes! everything is totally fine and dandy. The game is so fine that the drop in players is just a phase and they are talking about introducing incentives to play the side with a low player count just for fun and not because there is an issue.

I hope they don't snap out of it and change because what they are doing is clearly working out splendidly.

Again, I didn't say the game was perfect. I said there was still things that definitely need addressed and fixed, but even if they get those changes done (and they actually have been doing those type of changes recently) it probably won't matter because the majority of people complaining don't seem to quite understand why they are truly understanding.

Also, again - the game being fun or boring to someone is a subjective statement and not quite a true complaint on the game itself, seeing as how a lot of people find nemesis or bubba boring, but just the same amount see the opposite. It is hard for a dev or game to fix the "i don't like game" complaint when there isn't a true reason.

Also I'm pretty sure the incentive is for queue times. Overwatch has the same thing, and when they added it they certainly weren't dying. Hell just a week or two ago, there was a change in queue where survivors had shorter times then killer, it took me around 4 minutes to find a match as killer. Queue times depend on a lot of factors.

  • @Barbarossa2020 said:

    Agree with your sentiments.

But the devs have done nothing to help themselves with some of the attitudes displayed.

I.E colourblind mode video and the go play Civilization video as well.

The attitude just shocks me, as a consumer and as i've gotten older (im 38) i find myself less tolerant of crap behaviour from businesses, to the extent that i won't give them my money anymore. I've walked past stores that have something i want cheaper than another store but i'll refuse to give them any of my money and pay more elsewhere.

It does have to go both ways, yes it is a business and businesses are there to make a profit, so i get the need for content to generate cash, but you'd think for every bit of new content they would look at updating older content to make it relevant.

How many perks are completely rubbish now days compared to the modern ones. Even if it's one a patch just do something with them.

Oh yeah that is definitely a point as well. Again, I do not believe the game is perfect and criticism of the game is something that is always welcome for the improvement of the game, and when the game does questionable things, it makes sense to call them out. I can't wait for the day they actually do that legion buff/rework they talking about.

TBF though again, they HAVE been doing some big things that have been asked about for a while, just not everything people wanted.

Might as well just make it so he cannot activate chainsaw within x meters if they want survivors to get free unhooks against a killer with the niche of denying free unhooks. Why even overcomplicate matters?

Is it really that complicated for you lol "while within x duration, gain tantrum" that is about it. You can still use your chainsaw to deny hooks, but now you can't blatantly camp on top of them. It also isn't a niche thing, it is an incredibly powerful tool to be able to punish mistakes and hooks like that, it is almost his strongest pro.

  • @Laurie268 said:

I played 5 games today after not playing for 3 weeks and 2 of them were bubba’s that facecamp. Bubba is a fun killer to play against but all games end up the same with a bubba camping a survivor at 4 gens because they looked at him funny.

His basekit is fine but something has to be done about his ability to facecamp, especially when a survivor is hooked in the basement. Not even BT can save someone if the bubba doesn’t screw up.

What bhvr could do is that if a bubba uses his chainsaw within 5 meters of a hooked survivor, they only lose 1 healthstate so hooked survivors actually have a chance to play the game. Survivors would also not be able to abuse it because of the short 5 meter range. Thoughts?

Its funny because it has the easiest solution that has been done to killers that have WAY less threat around hooks. The Artist can't even put birds around a hook.

Just make bubba's tantrum slowly gain while around like 12 meters of a hook

  • @Mileena_Kahn said:

Mostly all of my survivor matches today have been bubbas, or if it’s not a bubba the killer has NOED. Is this trending at the moment or am I unlucky?

    I got like 3 answers

    1) just super unlucky

    2) possible MMR problems

    3) A lot of killer players right now think the only way to win is NOED and that the game is survivor sided, despite noed only really working against survivors you could've beaten perkless.

anyways if noed is a problem, despite people that will say "do bones" just play normally and if noed becomes active just find the totem or leave

I have all killers, i always supported BHVR and their game. Because DbD was my fav horror game.

    But...

First i will need to open perks but i don't like DbD's grind. It needs so much BPs. And for this BPs, i need to spend so much time.

Second, most DbD maps are not balanced. Sadako is fun and good killer but what she can do on this god loops if survivors know what they do?

And third, CoH and Dead Hard are broken against m1 killers. Sadako is m1 killer, end of story.

    👍️

    and?

Ever since these killers got released, they always been at the top, will this ever change?

I would like to see periodical meta changes and other killers take the spot of S tier ones with buffs and nerfs. It would keep the game somewhat fresh.

if I had to pick 3 killers to take their place, that would be Clown,Hillbilly and Deathslinger.

What killers you would like to see at the top instead of these 3?

Yes they will always be top, and it will stay that way until some drastic game changing thing is done which won't.

Personally, I don't see that as a problem. In almost every PvP game, there will always be a "best" thing to do or use, and it very rarely changes unless new things that are even stronger are added, or again, they change the entire game. People also seem to forget the game is almost 6 years old. Sorry you got to the party late lol

The game would not be fresh and better if Clown or Deathslinger were top tier. There are certain killers that are prepped for top tier gameplay for a reason, and some are not built for it. Unless clown and deathslinger were completely reworked to not be even slightly the same, then maybe. But that won't happen either lol.

That doesn't mean I don't want to see some weaker killers buffed, but the truth is that some killers won't ever be S tier, let alone A tier, without being incredibly horrible designs. Some killers are already hated and badly designed while still being B or lower tier.

Please, balance, interactive gameplay, good design, etc are all things that go into the game. Nurse, Spirit, and Blight are top tier because they have an incredibly fast and powerful map presence, with strong map pressure and chase potential from that (which is not only strong but ALSO interactive and skillful for both sides). That is why they are top. Killers that walk and press m2 to get injure don't exactly promote interactive and fun chases, which is why they usually always have big downsides and are always hard stuck mid or lower tier

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

Spirit is still one of the best killers in the game at 4.4m/s. I and many others can still do very well with her without Add-ons (with @TheGannMan rip) being one of the best I know.

She takes more practice now than before and some knowledge of survivor pathing and overall playstyles, and yes with 4x Iron Will gamers she can feel kinda... Lackluster at times (meaning "on maps with little to no foliage") however she is still incredibly strong.

If anything, comparing Blight and Spirit is a more compelling argument for Blight being 4.4 over Spirit being 4.6.

This has always been my mindset too. The way they choose a killer to be 4.6 or not feels really inconsistent but I think Spirit is fine at 4.4, but it is weird that blight isn't seeing as he has nearly on demand movement with really good chase. I guess he does take much more practice but same could be said about nurse then, and she is 3.8 I think?

I have noticed that this game is like "all is fair in love and war", so if I want to play ruthlessly as killer, I can't get mad if survivors want to bodyblock, sabotage, or blind me. We're both trying to win. I think "killer sided" or "survivor sided" only has to do with certain maps in this game. Midwich seems really killer sided. The game and eyrie of crows seem really surv sided

Exactly and this is honestly such a good view of it. The game itself isn't really survivor or killer sided, but there are things that can be used that skew it in either direction.

  • Nothing wrong with playing optimally. Atleast you aren't someone crying the game is survivor sided. I can't be mad at someone actually playing to win lol keep it up, you are already a much better killer main than most, and I've seen quite a few silly gooses in my almost 5 years of maining killer

  • NOED is way too black and white. While I'd say the potential for NOED is higher, NWO is just so much more consistent and rewarding. You have to earn the strength of it, and then make good use of it. With NOED, it really doesn't matter on skill of the killer or survivors, it is super weird in terms of strength.

  • this just in, local killer main that has never touched survivor claims game is survivor sided, everyone has already been over this and knows the truth.

Tune in next time when someone asks for noed basekit again

  • @Tsulan said:

What are those small tricks that only work with pinhead, but no one knows about them?

For example, i´ve seen Otz teleport while a survivor was laying to his feet. The survivor also teleported. I haven´t been able to reproduce this and wondered if it was a bug or whats the trick behind it?

Btw, he can prevent survivors from exiting the gates if he downs them while chained.

You summoned me, and I came.

Anyways the box even without info perks is extremely predictable and with a little practice finding it is super easy. It means you don't have to bring hoarders. Also unpopular opinion, franklins is actually less helpful for him than people say. It is way more helpful to grab the box on a down, not on just an injure.

In almost any match where I preform badly as killer the survivors mercilessly T-bag me, and its getting kinda annoying, so I think there should be some limit on how many times a survivor can crouch within a 6 second interval, or just have them get sacrificed when they T-bag.

I found a super niche techinque to actually help against this

I stopped getting upset at it lol

This sounds more like a poll, but I massively screwed up my last poll, so let's have a discussion.

I'm making this because there's only ONE killer that I absolutely hate going against.

You could also mention one that is maybe a little too easy for you.

    For me, it's Oni.

Every single time I see that it's an Oni, I feel like giving up immediately. I feel like for me personally he's just incredibly strong and very hard to go against. It usually is within the first 5 minutes that at-least two people being downed, or worse. Always ends up with me dying, usually first... Mostly because he's incredibly fast and on a general note I usually don't run exhaustion perks, mostly team helping ones. He's my least favorite killer BY FAR, and have actually disconnected as soon as I've found out it's an Oni before (hate to admit it, but I have done it a couple times)

I can't stand Oni. I don't hate any other killer as much as I hate him.

I hate to say this, but bubba. Not because he is hard to face, or because they sometimes facecamp, it is just the fact that randoms seem to ALWAYS kill themselves on first hook against him. It really sucks. If my teammates didn't do that, he'd probably be one of my favorites to face.

  • @hailxsatanxeveryxday said:

    This is your daily reminder.

I still do not understand the flashlight hate, where is it coming from lol it is the weakest item and literally rewards the survivor for not doing their objective and trying to have fun lol I'd take 4 flashlight teams any day of the week, atleast it isn't 4 medkits or toolboxes

  • @INoLuv said:

In this game, the survivors can do their best to escape (as they should) and are not called "toxic" for it, but if the killer tunnels, camps and slugs for a 4k or 3k, or if the killer ever plays to get kills, he is considered a "sweaty" axhole who "just plays for wins" and toxic for being "unfun" and "boring" for the survivors; if the killer just get 2k or 1k or no kills, he will get mocked in the endgame chat with people bragging about how superior they are while calling the killer a "loser" and saying a bunch of things to make him feel bad. In the endgame chat, why be the most angry and extremely offensive person to the person playing killer? As if you NEVER had an escape before.

The killer should not camp in any way possible, should not bring "unfun" perks for the survivors, the killer should simply play killer "just to enjoy the chase" and "not caring for kills", sort of shaming the killer for playing optimally or the way he want; again, camping at 5 gens is not "toxic", tunneling to guarantee the kill is not "toxic", slugging for the 4k is not "toxic" and the killer is not the worst human being on the world in real life just because he played in a way in a online videogame. And no, camping does NOT need nerf, all of the other killer strategies are already dead with the new meta and camping only works depending on the situation and determined by how experienced the survivors are. Even then, the killer should play how he wants without being shamed for it, be him a basement bubba or a killer that simply uses noed to feel more safe.

The survivors can play the way they want to escape or whatever, the same can be applied to the killer, is simple as that. People already shame killers on youtube a lot, like making compilations thrasing on the performance of killers while bragging indirectly. But it seems that the behavior is encouraged.

I personally defend the killer on the endgame chat when i play survivor (i mostly play survivor), i don´t see how the mob mentality against a side of the game with the least mains is considered appropriate.

Honestly both sides get called toxic twats if they play to win. The forums are a perfect example of it, I feel bad for survivor mains on here lol. If you want to win, just play to win and ignore what people say lol the objective of the game is to win, it is up to the player to decide if they want to play more casually or not.

  • MoM is extremely underrated. In a meta of healing being very easy, you should already be taking hits for your team anyway. Using MoM means getting your 3rd hit isn't as hard as people say.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

    Question on title.

Why i am asking this question? Because I've seen opinions that survivor gameplay is braindead and simple. Is it really?

I mean repairing generators are easy and does not need skill for sure. But what about looping? Also good teams know which generators should fix first and give big area to killer for last 3 gens. This strategies really does not need skill? What do you think?

It does take skill and anyone who thinks otherwise is most certainly a killer-only player. Killer does take more skill, but that doesn't mean survivor takes no skill. Survivor has to have knowledge of all the killer's and how to approach their chase, how to run certain loops and how to read mindgames as well, and how to efficiently do the objective in the correct way to avoid certain win situations for killer.

Sure, holding m1 on a gen is super easy, but that isn't all you do as a survivor. As a killer main (70/30 with survivor) and survivor is definitely more skillful than people give credit. Maybe it is because most people on here, twitter, or subreddit are bad at killer too, so survivor must be SUPER easy, right? /s

  • @Sluzzy said:

I commend the devs for fixing this and it is something that will really making the game more fair. Survivor that abused changing their resolutions to stretch everything so they can basically wallhack the killer at all tiles was never intended and this gave an unfair advantage. You always knew the survivors that abused this because you never could catch them at tiles no matter what. There was a clear difference between a native survivor and a stretched survivor.

Now the stretched will be brought down to everyone else, and they’ll be fewer teams and survivors that peep over walls and extend chases way longer than should have.

Killrates are going to dramatically increase.

They’ll be fewer tournament-like stretched teams in the fog that seem unstoppable. Killers will be winning even more than they were and I think this will give the devs the data they need to see that it is too hard to use what is on the maps (for the majority of survivors). Killers can down too quickly most of the time. Will we return to earlier map designs where we have 2 pallets at every jungle gym tile? The killer meta was already too strong even with this advantage. I think something will definitely need to be done with nerfing the killer meta and buffing maps again now that the stretched users won’t have an advantage to overcome it.

    I love you sluzzy

Just wanted to reming everyone of what the devs said regarding the Undying nerf back in the Jan '21 Developer Update:

"We’ve been watching this one closely, and there’s a few things we’d like to address:

    1. Transferring the same Hex multiple times can get out of hand: Hexes are meant to be strong perks that can be destroyed, and having to destroy the same Hex four times can be a bit much."

Yet they are okay with 4 different people being able to keep blessing multiple totems infinitely so that everyone gets free medkits. Not to mention the time wasted trying to pointlessly snuff out a totem knowing it be back up in 20 seconds, on multiple levels.

After the last Q&A I don't expect the devs to tone down CoH any more than what they already announced, so I just hope they realize CoH is killing the game before it's too late.

I am once again reminding everyone that boons are a fine enough mechanic, and it is CoH that is op. Please, stop crying about boons lol the devs have made it clear they are fine with how BOONS work, and so do most good players. CoH is a different story and it definitely needs nerfed. Besides that, doing possibly 5 totems each taking 14 seconds was still bananas and people need to remember not every team they face is a 4man, hell even doing like 3 boons could be throwing the game for your team. Please stop blaming every little loss on things lol sometimes it can just be skill issue 🤷‍♀️

  • @kate_best_girl said:

I keep seeing people say "Killers being C tier is perfectly fine!" And I can't help but wonder why you'd think that? Killers being at C tier literally cannot win and seeing as you're forced into constantly being matched against people who are great at escaping specifically you (MMR) I don't see why its okay for a killer to be in a bad position. Wasn't the standard previously "Every killer should be A tier."?

Because you most certainly can still win with low tier killers lol that is why there is still clown mains, pig mains, myer mains, etc that still do good and win. People need to stop acting like winning in this game is absolutely impossible and you lose every round unless you are a nurse with 10k hours and 4 gen perks lol every killer should still be good but we dont need every killer to be a nurse, and we don't need every killer to be a boring anti loop zoning killer. I'm personally excited for the fact we have a new stealth killer. Being a killer main is immensely boring right now with most killers being the same now.

You aren't meant to stop all gens all the time, it is quite literally impossible without the survivors just not doing them. Even with corrupt, ruin, and pop, the start of the game is always when survivors are at their strongest and a gen or two is almost guranteed.

Well I hope you're happy playing against Spirit and Nurse every match if every other killer that tries to be even remotely competent at killing is gonna be "badly designed".

Spirit and Nurse are both strong and well designed killers. A killer being weak, and a killer being badly designed is 2 different things. A killer could be strong and badly designed or weak and badly designed. They are separate things. I'm also mainly a killer main, but even as survivor I don't mind Spirit and Nurse because they have interactive gameplay and fun chases.

badly designed only gets complained about (and taken seriously) when its something survivors don't like though. see: the entirety of Legion's history.

True but ATM they have an easier path to getting to that point because for survivors it goes like this "max out David, lori,Lori, and maybe Michaela, find which survivor you like, grind till completion, maybe get items and addons as well" because survivors are just pallette swaps that are not effected by outside issues as much as killers. Take deathslinger for an example here's his set up "max out cannibal, shape, plague, hag (for one example), learn how to play slinger, obtain a good number of good addons..." Then a nerf happens "relearn slinger or scrap all the progress and use someone else if the nerf has made them bad and basically start from square one".

At the game's core right now thanks to how the game balances both sides, maps and rng (which yes can favor killer at times but survivor even more in most cases) it is much easier for survivors in the long run since unless the perk gets hit nothing changes.

And that's why for as much as people want to keep trying to use otz's videos to say it's not survivor sided or is balanced, with how the game is atm it changed nothing. Instead, it just showed that playing "fair" should be ignored and what most deem "toxic" is subjective at best. Because thanks to the mmr system and how it meshed both competitive and casual players horribly any form of "x proves y" cannot be taking into account as much as people try to.

But his point does stand and it applies to almost every pvp game ever. If you want to win, you can't take into account "fair" or "casual" players, because the player who tries to win will win, and his point was proven. Any killer that tries to win can and will win, and that applies to survivors as well. If you say the game is survivor sided then only play fair or not to win, then it isn't unbalanced because you lost. His point was that you should complain that you have to play in a very unfun manner for both sides at high level, not that the game is unfair, because it certainly isn't.

Also it sounds like you do not like the grind instead of the game being unfair. That is a separate discussion from the game being fair or not.

Yet saying that as well shows nothing cause instead of it being experience and skill driven like a fighting game, this game heavily relies on rng so you can get a balanced game, a squash game or a game where it feels like no matter what you do you will not improve.

And thanks to both mmr and the bloodweb it will will almost 8 times out of 10 feel like the last scenario rather than the first.

I'm not saying otz is all wrong but remember most do not have all perks on all killers which right now some heavily rely on and even when people looked up his videos it shows that in order to circumvent some of the negatives specific perks are needed which most of the time is on a character you are not using.

And that can be said about survivors as well. Not every survivor has all the best perks unlocked meaning tunneling and playing dirty to win easier can be done much more efficiently. It goes both ways. Same with RNG. The RNG can be against survivors as well.

Devil May Cry. I want a Vergil Killer so bad. Or any of them as killers or survivors. I would even just take some skins. I want it lol

Yeah, that sucks too, but at least Re4 got a cosmetic. I personally think the village from that game along with the one from 8 could have made for a way better map than the R.P.D.

The Re chapter should have been a celebration of Resident Evil as a whole, not just the first three games in my opinion. While Nemesis is probably the most iconic Re monster, he (along with the other Tyrants), was absolutely the worst pick for the Re killer. William Birkin, Dr. Saddler, Jack Baker, and Karl Heisenberg all would have made for much better options.

While I agree with the sentiment that is should be a celebration of RE as a whole, that just isn't really possible. The series is one of the longer series in terms of horror games and it was never going to fit all of it in. They never would've been able to celebrate it as a whole, and the same could be said about most licenses in the game right now. No matter what there would be a crowd with someone complaining that a character they like didn't make it in. RE as a whole has such a wide cast of characters and monsters that they never would've been able to celebrate it as a whole, and like they did with Silent Hil, celebrating the beginning of the series and what started it all gives the most respect to the community as a whole.

Games? Hmm. I'd have to say Fanf, Outlast, and most importantly, Resident Evil 7 + 8.

It was criminal how Behavior completely neglected both of those games when they made the Re chapter.

personally as an RE fan I think they did the chapter fine but the way they did nemesis was almost the exact opposite of what I wanted. In terms of the newer games, while they definitely could've been used, I think nemesis and the OG cast is more iconic, even though the new games were popular too.

More Yui skins, an amount akin to Feng and Meg's.

that wasn't exactly the question but I love the enthusiasm and I agree, Yui is so much better than Feng yet Feng gets skins back to back

Just asking I think it’s pretty interesting

I got to play against @Sluzzy and it was such an honor. I was ghostface and they were mikaela. It was around a month back but it was truly a fantastic experience to face the best survivor in the world.

  • If I'm not wrong, that just means the sale is ending and then the chapter will be full price. It doesn't really make sense if he is going lmfao it is an original design

I think it's probably the fact that this is one of the only notable games in the genre, although there is prop hunt and VHS is coming out soon. However, I myself have fun with the game, despite me playing killer and survivor 70-30. There'll be annoying moments that make me wanna explode but I just move on to the next game, and what do you know, the next game after that is completely more fun.

totally agree. I'm excited about the competition for this game purely so people know more about it. Seems like people come in not thinking of it as a PVP game and want killer to be some role you never lose in.

  • It was a free thing that was earned through time, and the compensation is also something earned through time. They totally could've went the route of just not giving anything. In terms of what should've been done, it is the easiest solution to just remove them all, it was a basic situation of a small minority ruining it for everyone.

If the compensation is keeping you from having fun in the game, then just dont play? lol did you even have the masks unlocked? Sure it sucks they are gone but we ARE still getting something and in terms of business it was the easiest way to solve the problem. The compensation taking forever is annoying but again, it shouldn't stop you from playing lmfao

I don't know if a popular streamer invented this but I've encountered it a couple times today. I'm not sure if it's something that needs to be fixed in some way or if there are some counters I haven't thought of. It's kind of funny when it happens but also might be a bit broken.

A killer runs Noed, Remember Me, No Way Out, Bloodwarden. The killer opens one gate the second the gens are done. This starts the 2 minute end game collapse timer. The killer then stands guard over that exit with Noed.

If it takes 10-20 seconds for a survivor to touch the other gate handle, No Way Out activates for another 60 seconds. By the time No Way Out ends, the end game timer is now down to ~40 seconds.

Remember Me makes the 2nd gate take 32 seconds to open, giving a window of less than 10 seconds for survivors to escape through the 2nd gate before everyone dies to end game collapse.

I think if a fix is needed here, it would be making No Way Out activate when the killer opens an exit gate.

Are there any suggestions for how to counter this strategy as survivors, particularly without comms (solo queue)? The only thing I could think of is deliberately having someone get downed/hooked to slow the timer. But realistically, I don't think we can expect that kind of coordination in solo queue. And even with that strat, the killer could keep someone slugged until No Way Out ends, and then trigger BW.

Are people really calling this a tech lmao stop putting that word on everything. A tech is a technique involving a power or just gameplay to pull off a certain move. This is just a niche build focusing on trying to kill all the survivors at the endgame because they use an entire endgame build. Without comms, it is definitely harder but just doing noed and leaving is the easiest way lol

  • I want a true brute character. Nemesis felt pretty disappointing coming from a RE fan. He is supposed to be this super fast tank of a beast, but instead we have flimsy tentacle whip (which he almost never used like a whip in RE 3 lol). I want a large monster character, like the opposite of demo. Something that can throw or hit survivors around.

i was forced to carry the whole game just because 2 players can't be bothered to stop genrushing for a moment and take a hit, they were avoiding me like the plague for the whole game, but thank god for that handsome david saving my ass twice from the hook, he was going to sacrifice for my escape but i can't stand seeing his gleaming beard abandoned at the hook so i came back.

Stop tying kills to mmr i can't keep carrying the whole team everytime just to see my mmr plummet back again after being tunneled by disgruntled killers who always try to camp the first person they see.

Right now I already got accustomed to chasing killers first so i won't sandbag my team mates when they inevitable suck at running while being tunneled. (I tend to run out of teammate to sacrifice by 4th or 5th gen whenever i genrush.)

Still stuck in this Hellish MMR.

TBF, BHVR isn't encouraging anything. The game has been out for almost 6 years. The community has. This happens with every single game almost ever. After time, people figure out the best and most efficient ways to do things. It is why holding W is so prominent now too, thank the community.
