Survivor: Decisive Strike basekit, Dead Hard removed.

Killer: Corrupt Intervention basekit, NOED removed.

BONUS: BNP and basement, both removed.

I like most of your suggestions but why remove the basement?

I like all the new addon ideas. Although for the executioner's blade, Id have the effect end once you enter a chase. A 15% speed boost is pretty big, especially for 20 whole seconds.

That's a good adjustment. I should have added that condition, honestly.

  • I am a prestige 25 pyramid head and I do basically the same thing in my games. I would argue that this is not a problem. Other killers can tunnel just as quickly because they are gifted with stupidly fast mobility, so why punish pyramid head when he has to walk like everyone else? Additionally, alert survivors can easily counter cage tunneling by pre running to the expected cage location and saving instantly.

Huh???? Hahaha what? Just don't do gens if killer chases obsession? That's the funniest comment I read so far hahaha

I'm not saying that's a GOOD way to counter it. I am saying that is literally the only way a solo player can see "maybe eruption is about to go off"

  • in total solo queue? the only thing you can do is let go of the gen if you see the "obsession being chased" effect and they are injured. aside from that, nothing

  • It is definitely top 3

  • pig is like garen in league of legends. she gets drastically worse the higher your mmr gets.

  • This was probably made by a minimum wage employee that was forced to play dbd on the company computer for 30 minutes and then make this

Youre telling me tombstone myers is D tier?

Against survivors that can tell he has it and just jump in lockers and deny stalking so hard that he doesn't get it until 1 gen is left, yeah

I think Oni is B agains't good survivors unless you are very good at him. As agains't optimally playing swf using map offering you will take lot of time to get first hit and once you get your power all gens are pretty much done. But however good Oni can slug all of them with one use of his power in the end.

His explosive snowballing is the only reason he is in A. I have found recently he can easily use perks like superior anatomy and bamboozle to shorten his first chase and get his power up against teams that actively try to deny any hits

    Sadako way too high lol

With iri tape I could have even put her higher. Not any higher than C tier though. Sadako with iri tape in a 3 gen with gen kicking perks is her best possible build. Even the best survivors would run out of resources eventually

Yay I found someone that gives Spirit the respect she deserves.

Even Spirit's yellow add ons put her in the A+ tier. Mother daughter ring + purple amulet make her unstoppable even against god swfs, which is why they are banned from comp :)

    CoH have essentially destroyed the hit and run strategy, however as I've started playing more hag at higher mmrs. It feels basically impossible to down anyone as they will all take a hit then run to the other side of the map where the boon is, leaving me with 2 options;

    • Go for the boon, lose my 3 gen/setup, resulting in most likely a 3-4 man escape
    • Ignore the boon, never get 1 down, have a 30 minute game, a gen will inevitably get down, resulting in most likely a 3-4 man escape

Whenever I see a video of her being top tier, it's always against a group who isn't allowed boons as they just break her.

shattered hope is pretty good on hag. devour hope undying, shattered hope, pentimento

Lets say you actually are not playing Camp or Tunnel Bubba..

You just wanna play him normal, for fun, like any other killer. He has a pretty decent insta-down mechanic, I am not really even that great with him but seem to down Survivors faster than on many other Killers thanks to it..

Is there any specific reason why he's usually considered pretty "mid-tier" on almost any tier lists that I've seen?

Just curious your thoughts, maybe he has a few huge weaknesses that make him unreliable at higher MMR?

I know about the Lockers, Lockers really do hurt on him, I kind of wish the chainsaw would down people inside of Lockers IF you are willing to Tantrum the Locker the Survivor is in.. I feel like that would make sense considering it is a CHAINSAW lol

But other than that, with the right perks I think he has potential, am I missing or overlooking something?

On that note, could anyone who actually enjoys playing Bubba in higher MMR share some of your builds with me? I am curious, I just started playing him again for the first time in a while and I am having fun with him.

I don't camp or tunnel, always just try to go for ending quick chases on whoever is full health that I can see.

No mobility and countered by windows

so this deadhard fine perk high risk high reward whatever. the reason im here is cause of scripters, played another fun game of what i assume was SWF and all of them were scripting DH very fun it was one of the funniest things ive ever seen so incase you don't know these players can perfectly time DH when the killer swings with some cheating tool very subtle but if you catch on like i did there is a counter... intentionally missing i was playing some freddy already a tough one and they all scripted DH id wait for literally 10 seconds before hitting with almost all of them and they wouldn't fall for it till i swung now either all 4 were the most godly Dh users in existence or they were all cheating... of course they were cheating they all played like garbage couldn't loop fell for stupid ######### 3 man bodyblocking and fails but the DHs *chefs kiss* perfection which was annoying cause you know im playing freddy anyway i got wise and started missing wouldn't even look at them during chase idlook away and swing and they would DH so it made for an easy game just baited their one cheat so if anyone out there finds something like this with perfect DH maybe try missing during chase just to check.

Also the funny thing i saw was i was tunnelling this one guy who was following me around with a flashlight all game as cheaters do and on his last hook the other 3 tried body blocking while injured and honestly pretty ballsy and stupid thing to do right while injured not if you have the secret 3rd health state the scripted DH but the thing that was hilarious and confimed they were all cheating is they all got in front of me while i was chasing the other guy and i swung away from all 3 of the body blockers and they all in perfect sync DHed and the same time XD then i slugged then out cause Dh was on cooldown and they all sucked in chase ggs :)

if you know someone is scripting dead hard just make a stupid lunge away from any pallets or windows and they'll do it involuntarily

  • I enjoy using it in this medkit meta

  • I mean this is obvious bait, but facecamping does not take skill. Knowing when going back to the hook is the most efficient play, and avoiding body blockers to tunnel someone out, those are skills.

like hook someone, patrol 2 or 3 gens, and if they haven't been unhooked yet and no one was on the gens you patrolled? go camp, you deserve it

Nah the two open windows chain together for several vaults vs most killers in this game.

I guess I wouldn't know because I play pyramid head who can use his power even at the dining room window

  • no nurse or blight? oni with double power duration and infectious fright on rotten fields

  • @CornMoss said:

I am not talking about the artists, I wish for the day that almost all maps get reworked. Not aesthetically, I mean balance wise. For example Garden of Joy has around 3 god windows and a god pallet, and multiple pallets clumped together. Another example is Haddonfield (which I know the old one was worse), which also has multiple god windows and almost all pallets are extremely safe. And don't even get me started on Eyrie of Crows

You also have unbalanced maps for survivor such as shelter woods, midwitch and... Well I think that is really it for survivor, though RNG can really f over a team.

I have noticed that the amount of enjoyment I get out of a match depends on what map I get and that is a terrible thing.

ok but not all of the windows on garden of joy are actually god windows unless you have balanced landing. only the bottom floor dining room one is

Just like when I see a killer bring The Game offering doesn't make any sense to me

Main building is great for head on trolling. Killers bring the game to play scratched mirror myers, nurse, or maybe ghostface for optimal sneaking

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

By far the most played killer since his realese.I can see him still very offten which is very rare for any new killer that has been in the game for almost a month at this point. Why?

Strong, unique, fun to play, fun to play against, great character, great skill expression, versatile for almost all perks, and lastly insane chase music

Like I stated in my reply to someone else, if you want to level/grade up, you need iridescent points to get to iridescent grade. Camping ruins the Altruism part, so why should it be there anyway?

Can we talk about Altruism instead of skipping it?

But those grades and emblems do not matter. Like, they don't affect anything other than the amount of BP you get at the reset. You escape, your mmr goes up. That's the only metric of use being measured. You can raise your "rank" by getting iridescent in the other categories even if the killer camps. But still, it really doesn't matter

  • I think survivors should be able to see the killer they are facing in the lobby too

  • @squirtinq said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3211453#Comment_3211453

If camping is naturally a byproduct, like you mentioned, why are survivors punished for it? Aka, Altruism... like it was said in the OP.

It is deeper than that. Survivors are punished for going towards the killer, regardless of their other bloodpoint objectives (repairing, boldness, altruism). because of the flaws in the hook system, the killer can just stop people from performing altruism. I don't understand your fixation on "survivors being punished" for it. if your teammate is being camped, coordinate a save or if you are solo, just do gens. doing gens punishes the killer for camping. Like yes, camping punishes uncoordinated survivors and stops them from unhooking. What besides that is your point?

  • @squirtinq said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3211446#Comment_3211446

Doesn't mean Altruism is ignored because of it. I'd like a good explanation. Survivors should be rewarded for the laziness killers possess.

I am not sure what you are trying to say. What exactly do you want an explanation of?

  • it is a byproduct of the hook system. so long as hooks exist, people will camp them

  • good point, it might be pretty good now

  • Bondrewd from made in abyss with his clones and body augmentations...

Riko skin for kate and Reg skin for Ash lol

Add lore that he went insane and tried to ascend from the 6th layer, and the entity grabbed him before he died

  • I mean that is a valid strategy especially against teams. If you fake it against a 4 man, that pulls 2 or even 3 of them off gens. People accidentally put themselves in bad spots when they think they have to save their friend from tunneling

  • what the heck is this lmao?

bubba above pyramid head?? SADAKO IN A TIER???????/ spirit that low? trickster the worst killer in the game? did you make this randomly? I think the only correct placements are nurse and blight lol

  • @OrangeBear said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3209127#Comment_3209127

Delayed again? I think they are not coming at all. NightLight suggests she has a decent kill rate so devs probably think she's fine.

this is probably due to bias of the people submitting to nightlight and also she is widely used at low mmr

  • nah dude this is bait. no way you really posted this saying "red and purple rank survivors" as if that somehow matters

  • @Mooks said:

    What are you talking about?

Wesker is one of the main villain of one of the biggest horror franchises in videogaming and kinda overall. How did he not fit before?

also big spider, alien and springtrap all work regardless (except for maybe a big spider as animations need to fit) - problem with Alien/Xenomorph and Springtrap have always been the license holder and/or BHVR not wanting them in? But they are coming from horror franchises..

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3207653#Comment_3207653

Trickster is a sociopathic serialkiller who kills for fun and records his victims screams to incorporate in his art.

Nurse on the other hand.. was just a nurse who lost her husband. Wraith is a dude that got tricked into ‚killing‘ people.

    Legion are just some teens.

(also Trickster as the others I mentioned is an original creation and doesn’t really say anything about licenses eligible)

i really wonder what people have against Trickster other than flashy/bright outfits?

reducing it to lore is the wrong approach. nurse is an incorporeal being that can appear and disappear at will, only speaks in gasps and dying breaths, and chokes out anyone she kills, stealing their breath.

wraith is a completely invisible monster wielding a human skull as a club, yes he is humanoid, but his proportions are off.

try to think of what would happen if you encountered these killers irl with no knowledge of dbd or lore.

  • @Huge_Bush said:

Giant Spider won’t work unless they could figure out how to animate it to travel through narrow pathways.

SpringTrap won’t work because it’ll divide the community since the fans of the series were super annoying about it and have left a sour taste in many mouths. Also there’s some controversy with the creator supporting certain political groups. I hope it never comes because I’m a spiteful bit*h and haven’t forgotten the ruckus fans of the series caused when we were speculating on who the next killer before Cake Daddy Pyramid Head dropped.

I don’t see why we can’t have an alien. It would probably be as large as Demopuppy. They’d just have to come up with interesting ideas for its powers and abilities. Something like The Forgotten Twins powers would work, just less clunky and dependent on slugging.

We can’t have a killer that disguised as a Survivor. Everyone thought that would be Legions power but SWF is a thing and it wouldn’t work in this game.

They have lots of possibilities, it’s just not easy to make them all real. While I like original characters, Licensed ones are the money makers. I just hope for Chucky one day. Oh, and Oppai Vampire Lady from Resident Evil.

They could make it crawl on walls and ceilings. That would be pretty awesome

Honestly, I don't think Nemesis is on the same level as Pyramid Head. There's far more Nemesis addons I would use even if his overall addon set is on the weaker side.

Freddy on the other hand is far more comparable

Freddy is the only killer I don't own, so I'll take your word for it

after pallet drops and at the exit gates? you sure? or is this just an excuse for trolls?

I play 80% killer, just so you know. at the exit gates can only be for trolling, yes. but if I have 0 hooks, there is 1 gen left, and it's going to be me or the dead on hook guy getting chased, I am going to scroll wheel my flashlight and tbag at pallets to try and get the killer off of my friend

  • artist has a lot of good add ons. if you want to put someone on pyramid head's level of bad add ons, the only possible other is nemesis

  • I really think it's map size, not gen speed. When was the last time you remember getting genrushed on midwich?

  • they do that to get your attention and bait you into a bad chase (for example chasing someone with 0 hooks late in the game)

  • I think you might want to play a different game if your first instinct is to give up when the killer doesn't play the way you want.

  • The reason you don't see them doing anticipatory balance changes is because they happen before PTB, and you don't hear about it. It gets weeded out way before we even know what the next update is (most of the time)

  • unfathomably based for all the michigan men out there

  • @AcelynnBen said:

you know im fine with survivors stopping the hook state to like finish the heal and unhook or find something then unhook or just counter camping in general

what im not fine with is the fact that survivors can stop the hook in end game collapse, im not ok with that, sometimes u just need to camp one last survivor if you lost the game and no don't hit me with that IM PERFECT BS. let's be honest all of us camped that one last survivor at end game collapse at least once or twice

but just play better, you suck as a killer

yea good luck winning on red forest with any killer than isn't nurse

anyways my point is reassurance shouldn't work in end game collapse cuz honestly it just feels so unfair, ds was removed for this and for some reason reassurance is fine?

and a wild take i think the 10 seconds BT should also be removed in end game collapse, that moment is all about pressuring the survivors to leave

and one more thing, please make it so the doors start decaying, all of these years and still so annoying seeing both doors at 99% and not being able to do anything

and don't tell me CURRENTLY KILLERS ARE OP NO, they are not the MMR is messing everyone up, killers are fine to say the least, yes camping and tunneling is more popular than ever but let me also remind you ITS NOT BREAKING ANY RULES its part of the game, just as you body block or dance in front of the killer with your off the record, yes its annoying and gets boring but tbh sometimes its a viable tactic (the tunneling part not camping, i still find camping boring)

if you hate seeing 99 gates, run terminus

  • wait, survivors are ratting you out to the killer and you're wondering why killers would do this? what?

  • @SuzuKR said:

    Crow/Rat/Vial are non-issues.

having 7 rushes is not balanced

  • I predict you will have at most one favorite "chase" perk for killers, and then like 6 gen slowdown perks lol
