I initially called her Amanda, but most of my friends hadn't seen the first 2-3 SAW movies, and didn't know who that was. Plus, every time one of us gets a pallet stun, we say we "squeaked the Pig".
-
I'm disappointed the Pig's stupid Ambush roar isn't going away. She'll never be a stealth killer because of it. It's so dumb that they even added the mechanic when it's better to just manually exit stealth 9/10 times to hit someone... y'know... exactly like Myers, but with a fat delay attached to your interactions?
-
You could always bring Franklin's Demise, hit them, and then face camp.
I like bringing Franklin's Demise, and then carrying people to the furthest hook I can, away from their item. Just played a Pig game a bit ago where four people brought items, and one person had a White Ward. Sacrificed all four with no items in hand.

I didn't camp, though. Pretty much a last resort/desperation tactic.
-
Don't play matches with unstable ping, no matter how good it seems. If it's jumping/spiking, bail and find a new lobby.
-
Dying for Pig cosmetics.

-
Make Ruin a baseline mechanic in some way, so killers can have four perks.
-
In all the games I've run NOED and gotten it to activate (almost exclusively all of those matches were before the pallet vacuum removal), only once was it ever disabled before it could activate. Maybe 3-4 times it was cleansed, but every single game I used it I got at least a 3K, including turning many 1-2Ks into 3-4Ks, and a 0K into a 3K.
You have to remember, though, that preventing NOED from activating requires a significant investment of time from survivors, even most that are coordinated.
The only realistic nerf I could see is it losing its movement speed bonus, but then it needs something for rank 1 and 2.
-
The only change the Huntress needs is her hatchet hitbox to be consistent. Throwing hatchets the same way at different objects and getting different results is the most ridiculous thing about her. Sometimes, you can throw over objects, or in between gaps, and other times they'll just hit nothing and poof.

I say this because the Clown is a very good killer in the right hands with his ability to counter looping and end chases quickly. On top of that the majority of his add-ons are really good and have good synergy with each other. So, basically every killer?
Leatherface, Huntress, Wraith, Myers, Freddy and even to an extent Billy do not counter looping
Leatherface, Freddy, Pig, and Wraith do not have good synergy with their add-onsSo no, not like every killer
Hillbilly doesn't need to counter looping, since he doesn't have to walk across the map, ever. Huntress wants you to loop, since it's easy hatchet hits. lol

My list of fuckstick survivors that stealth around and won't repair gens all game can fill a textbook.
I can carry 1-2 weak friends, but I can't carry them and a third survivor that can be effectively replaced by a busted coconut.

Ruin - repairing a gen - almost no skill checks - gen at 97% - 5 skill checks in a row within 3 seconds. >:(I can 1-up this two ways:
-4 o'clock skill check, but it doesn't render on screen until it's almost automatically failed.
-Getting off of a generator and failing a skill check that doesn't even give you a warning until the generator explodes. -
They were never balancing for 2 kills, despite them saying they were. It's pretty evident in the old kill stats that excluded NOED, Moris, D/Cs, and quitting. It was for ranks 5-1.
Hillbilly was at a 60% kill rate before any survivor nerfs, for example.

As Pig, If you camp basement stairs when Survivor have trap on their head, can you get ban for this? Well it's not rly holding game because that Survivor with Trap will die anyway from trap.
No, you can't get banned for using dick tactics. There is a daily that is for Survivors being Killed by a RBT. Securing that daily is a rough one. You call it a dick tactic, I just call it smart play. But we all know you hate Killer players so we'll let it go at that.
Mmm yes i hate killers, that's why i suggested solutions to counter the SWF issue. It's a dick move no matter how you see it, and i really hope you never complained about pallet looping being an unskilled tactic (idk if you did cause i'm too lazy to check ur comments), because if you did... Well, blocking the stairs isn't difficult either, no skill required.
killer has to outskill the survivors several times before getting someone in the basement in the first place
Not really.
Down survivor, place RBT, iron grasp (only if u think you arent capable enough to lead survivors close to the basement), hook survivor, crouch close by and wait for the rescue, profit.downing a survivor is outskilling them by a significant margin, it's very easy to never go down in this game
unless you're bad, of courseYou must be an awful killer, or face awful killers, if you believe that.
-
Against a good Nurse, you can't do anything. You're really only trying to throw off her blinks as much as possible once she sees you. They've never normalized the required distance for blinking through certain objects, so abuse that as much as possible.
-
It can appear earlier, as early as level 1 on a new survivor is possible.
-
Usually, the terror radius or [you] suddenly running away is a good indicator (if there's no terror radius).
-
Generally, a good killer won't lose a survivor, so tunneling someone can lead to them dying very quickly. Being hooked is bad, but you also come off of the hook injured. You're leaving a blood trail, groaning and moaning loudly, and the killer likely on their way back to find you before the blood dries.
So, being tunneled and killed quickly is easy, and it sucks.
-
Shock Therapy is fine on its own; it's Madness, and some of his addons that are ludicrous.
-
Get pulled out of a locker/grabbed vaulting/grabbed off of a generator to avoid Franklin's Demise.
-
Aw, but I love getting free downs at the killer shack window on cocky survivors.

-
There's no counter to Bloody Coil. He got his trap down in front of his totem before it could be cleansed.
It should honestly disable the audio notification if you're going to wind-up injured every time you disarm it.

The killer community at large wants free/easy/autopilot 4Ks for some reason. They won't even acknowledge that a 3K is a straight win.Not to mention, most SWFs of even 4 people aren't "depip squads". I run with friends as a survivor almost exclusively, but a couple of them are complete newbies that haven't even reached rank 12 as a survivor, or have unlocked a decent spread of tier 3 perks.
Maybe if they were not tying to Ebully me and were focused on being at least neutral MAYBE most of them would not be dodged.
I've and many more 4 maned but had 0 fun. I 4 maned many swf but its was a complete shitshow of a game too. So the whole easy 4 man argument is wrong.
You have no fun putting in the effort and winning, and you're stressing out because of that? If you get a 4K and it's a 'close' game, why are you stressing out? Because you have to actually try, or because you're worried you'll get #########-talked at the end if you 'lose'?

F*cking spam filter ate my post again, so here's a shittier version of said post:
The roar needs to be removed. It warns survivors of her attack before the attack even commences (about halfway through the wind-up). Making Ambush faster will make her too strong at pallets if she can just bolt around the sides every single time you run to one. (A faster miss recovery wouldn't be bad on top of the roar being removed.)
Currently, it's better to stealth, and then de-stealth, for hits, since your terror radius returns slowly. Ambush's roar just warns survivors before you even round a corner if you sneak up on them.
At pallets, the roar warning people of what you're doing is the same problem: they can react before you can even attack. You're punished because they hear the roar and run, you're punished if/because you missed, and you're punished twice more if the pallet didn't drop. It's ridiculous how bad Ambush is right now because of that.
Low-vantage generators should be dangerous against her, but they're not because her stealth mechanics are weak, at best.

Regarding her ambush:
The best buff would be to simply increase her acceleration to her max speed, this would make SB less consistant and mindgames better. This might sound good on paper, but this would instantly make Ambush overpowered. The reason is that you can mind-game at pallets with Ambush (not all of them). Making it faster than Sprint Burst, or faster in general, will cause her to be able to circle pallets from either side more effectively. This is a buff way too much into Pig's favor, as most people without Sprint Burst will be hit when caught off guard. However, now you're just punishing people trying to use their primary defensive mechanic.
The roar needs to go away, so that low-vantage generators are risky to do against her, so that she can quite literally ambush people. Without the roar, you could realistically still hit people with Sprint Burst that aren't paying attention. The roar also warns people of your attempts to hit them at pallets, too, since most people won't notice the animation from the other side, and the obnoxious chase music almost always drowns out any quiet/medium sound a killer would make from a several meter distance.
Right now, it's more effective to stealth, and then de-stealth, for hits, since your terror radius returns slowly, whereas the roar warns survivors of your attack before it even finishes the startup.
-
He shouldn't be better than the Huntress in nearly every single category. You shouldn't even scream when you go through the poison, since it makes juking through the poison impossible.
Clown is faster than Huntress, reloads faster, less wind-up for spamming his power, doesn't have to go to a locker to reload, has only the base terror radius; no lullaby warning, full lunge, and can remain mobile and in control of his perspective while reloading. The slow down on his poison is pretty absurd. Unless you're standing on a decent pallet, you're getting hit in the next 1-2 seconds.
-

Remove the Ambush roar. It's all she needs.
But I also wouldn't be against some RNG forcing people to have to search in 3 boxes, at least, to get their trap off more often. Also, her Ultra Rare addons are pretty worthless. Rules Set No. 2 has no effect on anyone but newbie survivors, and the Ambush one... you might as well play Freddy or Wraith.

Killers are used to getting shafted. That's just the straight up truth. Survivors go on about "whiny killers" but what happened when Survivors got a minor nerf to their kit? Massive negative review bombs. And you know what? It worked. They get their way. If you play killer you just have to learn to live with the fact that this is a survivor's game and you're just here for their amusement. The pallet vacuum removal and Exhaustion nerfs were massive, along with the BNP gutting. I almost never see 5 generators repaired now (2 games since both nerfs have hit), and haven't gotten less than a 3K since.
-
The biggest problem is that the bonus is based on generators not completed. So, if you're last man standing with one generator left, it's not that useful. You'd need to stack it with Sole Survivor, and a couple other stealth perks to even have a chance.
-
It used to feel like a required crutch, but since the pallet vacuum removal/exhaustion nerfs hit I haven't even gotten to use it once.
-
Madness needs a rework. Being put into Madness 3, which is about 1 Shock Therapy in Madness 2--something impossible to dodge with +75% range and Iridescent King--and then hooked is basically a death sentence. I scream almost every single time I come off of the hook, and then I'm stuck with all sorts of other negatives, such as constantly, or endlessly, hearing the terror radius, seeing the red stain, or just screaming all of the ######### time.
The Doctor tunnels harder than any other killer because the game just hands his location to you all the time. Between skill checks not showing up until a quarter of the way through, and them appearing in your screen corners, running the standard Unnerving/Distressing makes it really ######### hard to get out of Madness 3 once you're hooked.
He's one of the stronger killers, and has such a ridiculously high skill floor, like Hillbilly. His whole "anti-stealth" gameplay means he just finds and hooks people faster. He is one of the killers driving the entire gen rush meta, and is completely cancer for new players to deal with. If you aren't four high-hour survivors, you're all going to die, unless the Doctor isn't even trying to go for kills.
-
Epic jukes, like the killer walks right by you, or even looks at you as they go by.
-
The current ranking system is basically an autopilot ranking up, especially for killers.
-
Killer mains just want the game to die, and to make the game as unwelcoming to new players as possible.
/shrug
-
Moris should be removed, tbh.
-
The event is nothing but camping because they did the exact, same thing for the Lunar event. Generators got camped, survivors got camped, hooks got sabotaged.
I just came out of a game with Scratched Mirror Myers on The Game. He camped every hook, and as many generators as he could. But I've played against that person numerous times and that's pretty much all they do.
The Lunar Event was stupid, and--what a surprise--copy and pasting the same event means that "new" event is also stupid!
-
I hope the developers play survivor and get downed 8 seconds into a match by Hillbilly and facecamped to death.
-
I never finished my build on her because I switched mains a long time ago, but I would run my Pig build:
Hex: Ruin
A Nurse's Calling
Make Your Choice
No One Escapes DeathAside from those, there's options:
-Monitor & Abuse (Pair's well with Nurse's Calling/getting the jump)
-Sloppy Butcher (Long heals; good for slugging)
-Hex: Thrill of the Hunt (Totem defense)
-Hex: Third Seal (arguably most effective killer to apply it)
-Knockout (I've never gotten this to work well, but it can)
-Whispers (Semi-useful tracking perk)You could also run Distressing/Coulrophobia together, instead of A Nurse's Calling if you don't want to use it, but also want to farm Deviousness. Also, here's a good Nurse guide by Pyrus. This was before her 'rework', but mechanically she's the same and really didn't get changed much:
-
I noticed this in a very recent match. It's unlikely to be worth using if it requires you to be injured, and then grabbed out of something. If you're getting tunneled/camped, it might be semi-useful.
-
4x SWF like that would be very altruistic, so you could camp a slugged person, and just hunt around trying to chain-slug.
Sometimes I bring a Broken Key to try and bait out Franklin's Demise.
-
Get pulled out of a locker or grabbed off of a generator/hook sabotage/chest/totem (or while vaulting) to circumvent Franklin's Demise entirely.
-
I once had it cleansed at 5 stacks right as I one-hit downed someone to kill, still wiping my weapon off.
-
They should've just done a double blood point event.
-
High ranks playing with low ranked friends will do this. I'm always rank 1 survivor, but my friends are mostly low ranks. Rank is typically an arbitrary, though, but it can have an impact regarding certain survivors. You should try to break off and kill the weaker people.
Despite what you think, a single survivor generally can't carry a game unless you tunnel them and get run around the entire match. You'll need want to get Hex: Ruin when you can, since it's a pretty integral killer perk nowadays.
-

Ha! 5 token Devour Hope is def hard mode. I pray for the killers RNG trying to complete this challengeI've only done this once on Pig, prior to completing my build for her, and making it an event would just cause survivors to cleanse the totem and deny you every game.

@thesuicidefox said:
DL is a different kind of perk though. TP rewards the killer for injuring survivors, DL rewards the killer for killing the obsession. I personally enjoy using TP because it has a psychological effect on survivors to make them more altruistic, but when it comes to it's impact on the speed of the game it's very negligible otherwise. If it were something all survivors have to take seriously, instead of something only less skilled survivors take seriously, it would be a lot more viable.
The new Sloppy Butcher is a better Thanatophobia in nearly every way. It won't affect gen repairs, but it makes splitting your hits far, far more effective than Thanatophobia, as survivors will universally heal before attempting repairs or saves.
-
Flashlights aren't really a problem anymore. If you got blinded at a pallet or a window it was always easy to follow the sound of footsteps. Without instant blinds, and with a faster pickup, very few survivors can get a flashlight save.
Last second switches to 3-4 DS would be awful, though.

So, the kick never caused a small amount of static damage? I could have sworn that it did...Overcharge kind of does this, and failing the skill check is a huge regression and alert to the killer. For non-Ruin time-wasting perks, Overcharge 3 is one of--if not--the best, imo.
