    Meh...

When you mock deranking killers, but play SWF with noob ranked survivors to get matched against low rank killers.

I play both sides solo and with friends and my swf (when i play with them are all also rank 1). Quitting for easy games is worth mocking. Why play anything on easy mode?

Another thing I think is hilarious is they are bitching about getting penalized for the chaser emblem but they think survivors just swarm the hook without punishment when in all actuality your benevolent emblem suffers if you hook farm and more than likely it’s more than one of you getting injured/downed and no one gets gens done if they are swarming so in a sense its emblem for emblem, an eye for an eye on this situation, both are punished equally. Let’s not pretend like hook swarming happens on every single hook.

Only suffers if you don´t equip BT.

I always equip BT but sometimes even with BT if it’s a Leatherface they can down you again without covering much ground , though I will admit I’ve not been in that situation since the I-frame was introduced so I’m not sure how effective it is with the chainsaw, but against the strongest camper  in the game someone will always replace them in the hook and start the cycle over if they are swarming is my point from all that and you will suffer one way or another as a survivor from progress not happening in game .

But killers get punished twice for it? We already lose map pressure if we camp, now we lose points and map pressure if a survivor decides to hang around and we need to defend the hook. And what if we hook someone next to a gen, god forbid several survivors are working on it..

Also, ######### where is the Freddy Rework! That is the biggest slight to killer players aside from dangling that DS nerf, that lets be honest, will not ever happen.
  • This happens to me quite alot and often cost you greatly because not onlt don't you get the grab, you don't even get the hit. Even worse when you have an opportunity to grab someone off gen who's trying to pop it in your face and make you mis-time a swing, you'll start the grab animation and then BOOP gen pops and your grab doesn't count, plus the survivor gets a free escape.

I feel like this is one of those issues they say they can't really do anything about though, I don't know how you'd be able to make it not happen, its like a weird lag issue that is only really a problem on console with its frame skip
  •  The sound will still be there,  but when survivors are in her husks TR they won't hear it anymore. It's certainly useful, as standing still is now actually a mindgame for her, but idk, it won't help too much in a chase. It just no longer gives directional info. I guess we'll have to see it, I haven't mnown that to effect wraiths play much tho, so who knows.

Because solo survivors exist, and would like to know what they played against.

If they really want to know that bad, I don't see the issue in them watching the game until it's end in order to find out. Why does the killer have to sacrifice his end game just because 1/6 times a solo survivor might legitimately care to see what the killer was running..
  • I play her at high ranks. Sometimes I 4k, sometimes I 0k... I don't know what I'm doing wro g when I hear someone say she does well at high rank, the biff was nice but she still feels hindered.. Maybe it's something im doung wrong, Idk.

How about, instead of adding "Terror Shock" specifically we just enable grabs regardless of whether or not survivors are injured?

You see, with "Terror Shock" killers could just lunge to get one hit downs which when coupled with peer to peer lag is just awful. Meanwhile letting killers punish people who get too close is fine with me as a grab requires timing and finesse.

I hope you can see my perspective. By the way, Freddy, if you're so hungry for instant-downs might I suggest No One Escapes Death, Make Your Choice, or Devour Hope?

You can already grab off of hooks, gens, windows and pallets though, are you saying just straight up snatch them up ? If so then that’s a terrible idea, not trying to knock on you or anything,  but what would be the point of even having a hit button if when you got close enough you could grab everytime? That’s my only argument to that

You can't grab an uninjured survivor from windows and pallets though. I agree with him, it should universally be implemented that way. This could be the buff Leatherface needs, since he can drop his chainsaw instantly

Yes, lets make windows and pallets useless because you can just be instantly grabbed off them, sounds amazing, LOL.

  • Awesome! I guess I'll get to finally have some fun with her!

I knew the devs were aware how stupid long her cooldown is. Only the best abilities in overwatch deserve such a grand enterance.
  • A step in the right direction! But still not enough. You could get 15 seconds cooldown with addons before and it wasn't that noticible to be honest.

It should be 10 seconds or lower by default if you ask me (reworking addons ofc).

I think that would be fine with add ons now though, a whole 5 seconds off with cooldown add ons? Ok, now I'm mote excited.

Just hoees to show all those people talking about how hod tier she was, apparently devs didn't agree with that either lmao
  • So the cd of ther power got changed from 20 to 15 second.
What about all the other problems? Sound etc.... do we have to wait until midchapter for that?

I'm confused, is this some small patch that just released you're talking about or is that just the only confirmed planned tweak whwnever we get tge mid chapter patch?

We need them to shut up folks talking about how top tier she is, she's ok atm, nothing more
  • Still trying to place her, but I don't think she's above Mid-Tier at this time.

To get stronger soon as the mid-chapter patch hits I'm sure.

Agreed, i don't actually think shes trash, her ability gas to much potential to be. I'd even be willing to take just a cooldown reduction. She doesn't really need more than that. This aint overwatch, the killer shouldn't take a quarter of a gen to use her power when her map pressence is already very limited.
  • Shes high mid tier if you track exceptionally well and get 70% of mind games right. Pallet loops jungle gyms etc

But if you struggle tracking and cant nake reads at all then I understand why everyone says shes bad. Depends on the player

Depends on the survivor too. Where tf is the Depip squad when you need them?
  • I like them. But instead, lets just make it so people in dream state can't heal, suffering the broken effect. That way they have to go to gens.

Remove the smog effect from freddy(not survivors of course, but also remove his ability to see every survivor everywhere outside his terror radius. Would that be broken?

I would like you to tell me everything that she does that makes her not trash. All I keep hearing from people is she isn't trash, but all they can say to that is "She 4k's in rank 1" like Freddy doesn't also do that. They say she has mind games... But as far as they go, how is that possible when the majority of the time in the majority of maps, she loses herself trying to even find someone with her power?

Seriously, give me something other than 4k's happen, because we both know rank is almost meaningless and a LOT of rank 1 survivors are carried there or just end up there through grind.

I could tell you all the ways she's great but judging by your post you'll ignore them anyways since it's always the same. Get to rank 1, well rank means nothing. This streamer says killer is trash, that streamer says she's great, but streamers opinions don't matter.

Then it's anyone could get to rank 1, true, so what if the killer got 4k, the survivors must all be bad or the killer was lucky. It's funny you lists the complaints but if she was so bad so many people wouldn't be playing her pretty much non stop.

Also if she loses herself in the majority of the maps then how is she getting 3-4k pretty consistently? Since she can't be losing herself the majority of ehr games and still getting 3-4k. If she was such trash no would would be playing her so much let alone Prestiging her to 3.

I'd say go watch Monto decimate with her or any of the other countless streamers pro and non pro but it'd be pointless, the excuses would be the same. Your mind is already made up and nothing I or anyone else here will say will change that. That was proven by the majority of her getting lost statement you made.

Watched both mondo and true play her today, trying to figure out what extra spice I was missing... aside from discovering the fact that frame drops really hurt her (thanks ps4) I saw that they made hella misreads as well.

The game I watched with true snowballed because the obsession DC'd although he had another hook state, and the mondo game was in the hospital. I'll admit, I was surprised about how well he did, even though they got more than two gens done by the time he killed them all. BUT he was in the hospital. I think it's a bit harder to juke her in corridors with very little los blockers, given she tracks scratch marks.

Aside from all that tjoigh, I know it means nothing if she can 4k a few times. True only has TWO videos of his spirit play, go figure. I'm rank 1, and yea, I 4k'd with her a few times, got more 3k's, and had a couple 2-0k's. I'm not to proud to admit it, I just want to see what some of you fools see in her. I don't think she's reliable at all, I think 110% movement speed for a killer with the first cooldown power in game was a sloppy idea that they just threw in because, I don't think unreliable mind games make for an engaging killer, especially when that's all she has, etceter.

I just want to enjoy her. I want to play as all the killers, and when a new one comes out, I never want to say "oh that killers not for me, they're to difficult to use". So yes, she needs quality of life buffs, as you yourself said. Aside from Freddy, who else needs that?

🤔 point to me where i strawmanned

I'm referencing in general, not you specifically and I was doing a spam of games so forgot to edit that back in. But there's a lot of killer mains use that excuse quite often if a killer isn't Nurse/Billy tier right out of the gates. I'm seeing a lot of Rin's at rank 1 doing quite well with her and most seem to have her down pat so they can do well.

That doesn't mean she doesn't need some qol buffs she does, but to say she's trash is just plain wrong.

She seems overpowered to me. I'm level 15 and have faced her 11 times. 6 of the games she killed all 4 survivors in the first two minutes. 4 of the games one or two survivors disconnected as soon as they learned they were facing the Spirit. In one game we got 3 generators done before she killed me the last survivor.

She can find you if you are motionless and she is phase walking which I don't understand, I thought she could only see footprints. I was motionless and hidden on a second floor and she came straight to me.

I know the devs try to balance the killers abilities so the outcome is up for grabs, it just doesn't seem that balanced right now.

I imagine in a couple months her weaknesses will become apparent and facing here will be a bit more balanced.

She is great to play as because you are almost guaranteed to kill all 4 survivors, so from a killer's perspective she is aces.

Your comment is so wrong. You obviously don't know much about the game yet at rank 15 so don't jump into false conclusions. She CAN'T see you if you are motionless and she is facewalking. But she can obviously see you and phase walk towards you. Then you have to know if she saw you and you can counterplay it.

Just play the game and you will get better and counter her hard.

Nope. I was on a second/third floor catwalk out of sight, there were at least two solid building walls between us. She was chasing and hooking someone on the otherside of the board, unless she has x-ray vision there was no way she could detect a motionless survivor. Line of sight would have meant I could also see her. So it must be a perk I am unfamiliar with.

Just played two more games against a Spirit. 4 level 15 survivors against a level 20 and a level 19 Spirit. Had two survivors disconnect as soon as they saw the Killer rather than play against her. I did manage to loop her for a few minutes, stun her with several pallets and lose her. Then in both games she killed all remaining Survivors in under a minute. I think with time the flaws the devs built into her to make it a fair match will become apparent, but for a few weeks it is going to continue to be a blood bath. I have yet to play a match where anyone survived. One person got close at getting out a hatch but they lagged, froze and were snatched.

She definitely does not need a buff, not sure if she needs a nerf. The double bloodpoint weekend is for the Devs to get a lot of raw data to look at so they can determine how the new build of the game is going. If they see an unusual amount of games where less than two survivors make it out (a sign of an even match up) they will make changes accordingly. For now if you want a lot of easy bloodpoints just play as the Spirit and go to town, your guaranteed at least a 20K match every time. I imagine the Devs are crunching the numbers to see what adjustments need made. I will say the new map, Family Residence, is gorgeous! It is fun to play and just look at the new scenery.

And I know, the people who only play as the Killer love the Spirit and like the fact they can win easily as players try to find her weaknesses. So please spare me the "get good" and stop whining comments. I just want the game to be fun and balanced without either Survivors or Killers having a cakewalk.

Kid you're a nut. You might not want to hear that "git gud" bonsense, but that's exactly what you need to do. The spirit is rat's ass, and I don't know how a bunch of y'all can lie or be so trash not to see it. She gets her cheeks busted at red ranks.. and I mean from what I've witnessed as survivor.

I played over 100 matches with spirit at rank 1 and got her P3 really fast and tested every single addon combo etc with her. So I have some insight into her.

Getting her to P3 doesn't matter at all not even sure why you mentioned it. Also nurse did get buffed when they reworked her. She needs a heavy nerf, not a small nerf, but a HEAVY nerf.

Yes, shes very cool and well designed BUT yet again we get a mediocre weak killer to the other weak killer pool. Not fit for rank 1 play but as any other killer stong at rank 20, duh.

Whos idea was it to give her super slow movement speed? Her power is quite useless for anything else other than mindgames, which 9/10 people can outsmart at rank 1 since survivors have a huge but basic advantage, third person view. She is in severe need of buff if shes gonna be an okay killer atleast, by severe I mean:

-Increase movement speed for crying out loud

-Less cooldown on her ability, like wth no other killer has this enourmous crippling CD

-Seeing blood should be by default, like cmon? She doesnt need to be more gimped than she is

Even for survivor mains, wouldnt it be more fun to have a better variety other than nurse/billies at rank 1?

    Ops...

Been doing this in almost every match btw, probably the killer that i have most 4 Iridescents matches so far.

Such a weak killer isnt it?

Gotten 4 mans with the wraith a perfect 32k game. Before the buffs. Just because you got a few 4k's doesn't mean a killer doesn't need a buff. Not saying spirit is bad because she isn't. She isn't good either and the downsides to her cripple her if you get smart survivors. Next time you get a 4K with her think to yourself. Could they have done better? The answer is probably yes. Any 4k with any killer but the nurse is purely because the survivors screwed up

4 Kills doesnt mean 4 Iridescents, i also got all of that with Wraith and Freddy, i know they are weak and i know that 4 kills with them doesnt make them good, but the Spirit IS good and very powerful, she just needs the right perks and enough skill to reach her max potential.

You know what I meant by 4k... also you didn't comment on the 'could the have done better' question. Think back to those games and remember how much They screwed up and how much of it was actually you doing good. I don't doubt you made some nice plays but I'm sure they screwed up a lot and you capitalized on it

Ppl also screw up against Nurse, does that make her garbage then? Even when they dont fall for the mind games and just keep running, they end up getting downed because u are faster while phasing, what "being good" with a killer means for u afterall? Every single one of them is different, some rely on survivors flaws more than others, u cant say that a killer with a chasing power is garbage, the counterplays against her are just as risky as the ones against Nurse and will give u just some extra seconds.

Problem here is, nurse is a completely different type of mosnter from spirit. Nurse doesn't need a single add on to be good. You just have to know how to play her. Now the apirit, the same vannot be said yet, unfortunately.

Im not saying she should be AS powerful as nurse, but when you are weighing the powers of one killer against another, maybe it should have clicked that a higher risk killer needs higher rewards. She currently doesn't offer the high rewards, but I will say playing her is fun and rewarding in and of itself
  • Survivors are notified about the perk before they're even effected by it, I think that's another major flaw with the perk. A survivor shouldn't be notified until:
    1) Someone has been hooked.. and you know, the perk is ACTUALLY doing something.
    2) Someone has missed a skillcheck, and have been effected by the regression(tbh I feel they shouldn't be notified at all until the Killer has had any tokens, but I could get by being notified on a missed skillcheck).

I agree, I feel like that also annuls the effectiveness of it being a threat long term, when it's structured like a build up perk that gets more dangerous as time goes on. I mean, even with the notification, until at least two or three hooks, most won't have a strong desire to take time off of gens or hook saving to search for it either way. But if the initial thought was to make this perk a threat down the line, why make it obvious as soon as a gen is touched instead of when the threat becomes apparent?

This is one of those perks from a different vision of the game that was made long before where we are now with perks and balance. It doesn't follow with the current trend of perks and benefits barely any killers besides doctor.
  • yeet said:

lol spirit is just bad, period

She's not a bad killer, just difficult. She's the hardest killer in the game. So don't call something you barely played bad... Learn her and I bet she would be a really good killer. I've already seen some killer player dominate with her getting back to back 4k. Choose the right perks and add-ons and she's God like.

I'm going to need an example that doesn't include her ultra rare add ons. So far i only got 1 4k, 2 3ks, 3 3 2ks, and a Ok. Maybe I'm missing something, but the trade offs her power afford just seem too weak.

True, it can be excellent for doctor. But tbh do we need another doc only perk? I love doc as much as the next guy, but I'd like something practical, not spmething tyat simply tortures survivors

You understand that this Hex perk affects all skill checks right? That includes Overcharge and Abusive Strike. That alone is why I consider the perk fine.

The issue is that it's a Hex - and like most decent hexes it's hampered by how easily they are found for most of the game. As I said, I'd rather they do a pass on all hex spawns first.

Except for Third Seal - that one is just bad. Not enough people run Aura perks to make that one worth it.

I think we have to very different idead of how and why hexes are what they are. Skill checks aren't a big deal for any killer that isn't the doctor. And as I said, to reap the full benefit of it you have to get practically enough hooks to where you were probably going to win the game anyway.

That, again, is barring doctor who benefits heavily from any type of skillcheck interference. That is inherint to his character and should go without saying.

As for your opinion on hex, the third seal, first of all that is an extremely powerful slugging perk if you are creative with your builds and can defend the totem long enough to play hit and run. It has immediate value, yet is often underestimated until it becomes dangerous. Second, the potential threat of this hex means someone will be dedicated to getting it as soon as possible once they know it's in effect.

Now, as far as full fledged chapters.... this game has been out for two years and some change,  i think it's fine if only two more are made... Just so a sequel can get made in the next 10 years, and actually have higher production value than this game does. • If i drop a pallet on a killer I should not be getting hit as well because why use pallets to stun if you are just going to get hit anyway. I can't drop it earlier because then it wont stun and its a waste of a pallet.

You ate so full of #########. I play this game on console an 90% of the time when I play killer, if I am not super accurate and already practically going to hit that person before they reach that pallet, I won't hit them once that pallets dropped.

That's mostly because i don't have horrible internet anymore, but thing is, the only scenario that creates an unfair looking hit at pallets is when a survivor THINKS they have enough distance to avoid the hit and should have gotten away. That isn't always the case, if the killer was in range and moving at an angle where theu csn directly lunge into you, then yea, you'll get hit when you throw it down. But if you drop that pallet a bit earlier or cone at ot from an angle in whoch the killer will have to navigate during their lunge to hit you, they won't get that hit 9/10 times.

Doctor isnt fun to play against apparently, survivors DC against him regularly, so we remove him from the game too?

Well, killers enjoy playing him so no, not really.
and comparing me saying iridescent heads aren't fun to use or play against and should be changed to removing an entire killer is the most childish response I've ever seen. Grow up.

I don't see why using iridescent shouldn't be fun for the killer

Oh so you wanna have the doctor changed only, not removed?

I dont see why you keep bringing the doctor up, this isnt what this post os about, stop being so childish.

So it's childish for him to bring up something that had nothing to do with the discussion, but when you bring up something the OP wasnteveb addressimg to crusade against an add on that most of us killer players enjoy, it's ok to derail the thread?

    Alright.

First of all I know there is probably 100 questions about the spirit. My answer might be in these forums. But I don't have hours to search for it. So, guys, I've seen that the blood tracks in ghost mode aren't supposed to be there. In the ptb every streamer I've seen was using the scratch marks in a chase. I've been thinking about it and I do not see how ill be able to perform well with her in a chase. Do you guys have some ideas, tactics that you thought of for the spirit?
P-S: They made the spirit this way, let's accept it. I just want to know the strats because I might but this killer but I need to know she will be fun enough...
We do not even know the final result for the spirit, some things could probably change.

Last stream they said she will be released as is unfortunately. We'll see how good she is soon
  • That second one would be a good way to nerf SWF, at least
  • Freddy is like any low tier in a fighting game. Sure, he can do well, even against high ranked opponents (which is mostly meaningless because the majority of people grind there eventually in this game) but he takes more thought to use than the average killer.

He has to overcome his own limitations, much in the way a low tier character who lacks certain important tools to be considered competitively viable. If the player is skilled, theu can find ways to circumvent this to a degree, but against a competitively viable character played by a player of equal skill, he will have a much harder time than if he chose a better character.
  • My wife used to love the himming tbh. One of the reasons she was so into me playing this game at first was because the sounds were soothing, especially huntress. Still, an option or just base reduction qould be awesome. But letting us here the humming during the killer selwct screen might be cool, if we're just throwing out random ideas
  • My question is why? I think it ruins the immersion that you are the killer unless you can hear yourself hum. Try humming right now? Can you hear it? Yes, then it should be in the game for immersion sake.

Immersion sake? Kindly stfu, we have hatchets that go through player models and insta heal medkits. Lmao "immersion sake".
  • Doc kind of needs it too, because his shock range add ons are unusable except for the moldy electrode, the timing is too offset to make it useful. Tbh they could just nerf the base speed and up the base shock range bit the trade off should be better than it is now for sure. Either way i guess the doc is in a good spot so he probably doesn't NEED it, hut i think the add ons shoukd be .ore fun tbh

Why is it when you crouch and rescue somebody from the hook they start bolting away instead of crouching knowing that the traps are there?? I swear sometimes I just wanna go to the hatch and wait until they are all dead.

Thats the only thing why hags still do well. Give it a few month and survivors might have learned a few things

Lmao you seem to find every negative thing to say about every killer and always talking about survivors. I am not even sure if you play survivor but if you don’t give it a try. Playing both sides could be really fun. Instead of just being one sided.

The hag is always going to be unpredictable so there is not really anything you can learn to out beat her.

Exactly! The thing about not running intentionally into the have traps is that it saves her traps for when she approaches, and her approach is very hard to detect, especially if she has M and A. People will not understand because they haven't played her long enough. I was once someone who wrote her off, and to be fair her base kit was underwhelming once soon a time. That time has definitely passed, and she is a very skill and mind game based killer. She is so dynamic and her power can cause so much panic, there is no perfect way to play against hag. She forces mistakes by design and is an absolute terror when when played to her full potential.
  • Yea, no they shouldn't do that BS. Unbreakable will be meta and slugging will be more of a benefit to survivors at a certain point if that happens, not to mention this is also pretty much a nerf to NC as well, since that's less time to pick up on a survivor who heals almost to full by themselves(which you can't see while they are downed for some reason) then gets that extra 5 % healed in like 10 seconds with mangled by the time they pop up on your screen. Yea, bad idea.

I think sabo could use a buff for sure, like if you use the perk maybe make it take longer to recover hooks than of they sabo with a toolbox, but not permanent. And this change CANNOT go through if they nerf slugging, period

You can 4k against people who are trash. Believe me, I know, I play console as well and 3/4k with Freddy quite a bit. Problem is he is very dependent on having the right add one and perks. A base Freddy is trash and almost unusable at rank 15. Take a peerless, add on less Freddy to rank 1 my guy, tell me how good he is then.

    @NextKillerSpongebob said:
Freddy isn't good @douggie123 Everyone knows it. You're probably playing at rank 21 without add-ons so you think he's good. + console is a bit different than pc. Freddy is weak. The Spirit is already weak. But as I said in the beginning, she is still in the PTB so they can change a lot about her right now.

Yet people on here have routinely taken Freddy to rank 1 perkless or with the right addons. Now before you come back with the right addons nonsense that's true for every killer. The killers that know how to maximize a killer and play optimally do really well with Freddy and against good rank 1 players.

The fact that people sue the rank 21 insult to try and debase the other sides points is laughable. What's even worse is yet against the same doom and gloom players are on here The exact same ones that when the exhaustion nerf was being tested told survivors it wasn't even out 2 hours and they were whining.

The exact same killers who said wait and see, give it time and see what comes out. Yet here we are yet again omg she's weak buff immediately etc etc.

Answer me this Powerbats. What is the point of placing a character in PTB if you aren't supposed to discuss how powerful or weak that killer is...

And I said I don't think k the creator of this thread can go to rank 1 as Freddy. I doubt you could either, I didn't say it was impossible though. But again, the doomsayers survivor main who argues like he isn't we'll over the hill, come to save the day..

If you weren't so concerned with your image in a video game that won't exist in a couple years, you would've probably just laughed it off and shared another salty survivor story. Maybe camping isn't a problem?

Did I say it was? I'm more or less trying to bring up the accusations, the presumptions made by the opposing side.

Personally. It's not proving good for my mental health. My anxiety's already kicked back in and I now join Dwight in the bite-your-nails-because club.

I felt like you presented it as a problem, otherwise, as I said, it be a laugh off and forget affair. I don't know how long YOU'VE been playing killer, but this happened so often when I played that I stopped coming up with jokes and even bothering to mock them.  I kind of stopped registering their anger, maybe in part because as you've said, it isn't good for your mental health. So I choose to ignore it regardless of even I feel like I played like a dick.

I used to never camp, and I still don't regularly do it, but it has nothing to do with feeling bad. I just don't have to do it all the time. But make no mistake, for any and all reasons I reserve the right to camp because I will camp you for no reason if it's just a camp day. Most powerful thing all killers except Freddy have, TBVH

I apologise if it came off as me referring to it as a problem. I've been playing Killer ever since I bought the game sometime following Christmas, prior to the introduction of the Pig. At low ranks, therefore in the beginning, I never heard one single complaint. Survivors focused on gens, I was able to leave the hook, all's well. But then as I started to get stuck above Rank 9 I started to get complaints, coincidentally alongside the increase of altruistic teams. It makes me laugh whenever someone messages me with a threat of being banned, to which I have to remind them that camping isn't a bannable offence.

I'm sorry. Sometimes I get ahead of myself and let my anger take the driver seat, even when it's no where near called for. It's been happening a lot recently, a little over a year actually. Coincedentally not long before I bought the game myself, although I'm sure this game doesn't help with it.

Anyway, I agree that over the course of this year, this game has seemed to change greatly. When I was playing on console last year, ranks didn't even save, and everyone was... Not taking things as far as they do now. Games were also a bit easier going, not many were taking the games seriously and I made most of my psn friends that I currently talk to on this game. But as that glitch was fixed, more people like me became aware of the forums and the overall meta of this game, and "sides" started to form, it seems to have led to a toxic air that was absent before. Well, qq right?

I have no idea what qq means. But regardless, the game has indeed changed. Though it's hard to give it up... It is a fun game when all goes well. But when it doesn't it can be incredibly messy especially when the devisive nature of the game separates the opinions and voices into two armies. Though I'd rather hear adults arguing over Dead By Daylight than the screeching of children on Fortnite... Even if some of the adults in the DBD community act more immature than children sometimes.

    I believe qq=crying?

And yea, I still play this game so it doesn't take anything away from me. I'm on hiatus now because I don't have ps+, but that's about it.

When it comes to the arguments and disscusions on here, I get just as caught up as anybody, and I suspect you may too.  It just feels like all discussions on here eventually break down into that, because if we discuss, for instance, something about the hatch stand off situation, saying it needs changes, inevitably someone who prefers survival role will say "you just want easy 4k" and the cycle of toxic mudslinging and unheeded points behind anew.

It may be sad that I take comfort in the fact that of all the toxicity I've contributed, I don't FEEL that bad because I know there are people here who are either way more toxic, or who are older and at least just as toxic. makes me feel like I haven't reached the end of that rope yet at least

  • I feel like this high your on will lead to the biggest hangover ever when she is released. Again, just speaking subjectively as someone who can't even access her. But I haven't seen a single "nerf the spirit" thread, so....

  • As someone who can't experience the ptb, all I can do is go off of the information gained from those who played the new characters and off of my idea of how things have worked historically in this games life span.

Without understanding how she works, I just have to say that having an inherent speed nerf is awful and means looping will happen a lot, and given the fact that this killer cannot "Teleport", isn't based on trap setting aka preventing loops, and doesn't use projectiles means that whatever super cool gimmick she has will be exposed as a gimmick in no time and the killer will end up mostly being awful at that point.
  • You wait till your ass is on a hook when she is fully released and I am playing as her. I especially like her perks.
