2. Telling me to kill myself or uninstall the game in post-game chat
By doing this its called holding the game hostage. If he is not hitting you, and you are not hooked. It is a bannable offense from what i know, though only if no one else is in the match. As @twistedmonkey statedKiller Activity-1. Blocking the exit to the basement (Not even trying to hit me, just to trap me in there for like 10 minutes)

Same with gens and RTB's. I leave a gen at 99% to give the person time and work on another gen instead, but the others just pop it... Very few actually don't finish a gen when RTB is in play, it's like most survivors never got the connection or just don't care.
RBT are so weak that you really dont need to 99% a gen.
Generally I agree if you have competent survs, but not if you've got potatoes on your team. It's situational. Sometimes you really need some extra time.
If I dont have competent mates, then I dont give a damn anyway and make sure that I get out at leasat
-
Its not as simple as fixing the "wrong gens" if your with a team of randos, they could screw up right after your done fixing the "correct" ones, and fix any other gen, the more isolated ones, the ones litterally right next to the one just done. Stopping a gen at 99% can actually fool some killers into aticking around said gen. Fixing to 99% will also help at the right moment with a SWF group.Shadoureon said:If you are worried about map split dont fix the wrong generator to 99% in the first place.
Same like people fixing the carnaval generator first on the Clown map. Common sense to leave that one with the last 3 because its so isolated 90% of the time.

Troll perks? Why even?BACKSTABBER said:@The_Crusader said:

Then you've got the killer mori animation spamming, and finally you got the killer repeatedly slashing away at someone on the hook.
This is hands down the worst community I've ever seen. By a wide margin in fact.
I really think the developers need to see first hand how bad things can be. These aren't isolated incidents either. We all get these far more than we should.
When are they going to do something? What can they even do? One thing is for certain, it needs cleaning up.
The toxicity just keeps building and building and then you hear reports about people being ddos'd on the extreme end.
I fully understand the survs trolling, they are bored of game with many hours of playing so they need:
- perks working with the killer, troll perks, fight other surv perks, fight back perks....
otherwise DBD becomes boring
Survivor vs Survivor, i can semi understand...
Until more trolls troll other survivors with more ammo
Fight back perks will just lead to more trolling because survivors will actively CHASE and mess with the killer. The game is better off with less ammo for trolls IMO -

I want to try her out
But i barely know anything about her. Any Hag mains wanna give me tips?Right in the beginning, run to the "infinite loops" of the map and trap them, they are like magnets for survivors.
Also, dont place your traps always at the same spot, vary a bit or survivors will ahve an easy time clearing traps -
Yeah ive seen some hags drop 4 or five near the hook(one in front two to the sides and one at the nearest pallet and or window)Maximus7 said:You want to have a lot of traps down at places where survivors like to run off to as soon as they're caught, and you want to spread out the traps. People usually struggle as Hag because either they have no/few traps placed down and/or they're way too close together. If you have someone on the hook, ONLY PLACE ONE TRAP AT IT IF ANY AT ALL (unless it's the basement, then two traps (one at the bottom of the steps and another on the stairs) is more than enough). This is a common mistake I see Hags I play against do, all this does is limit her possible map pressure (which is amazing once she has the time to set it up).
MYC isn't exactly a must-have, but Hag is by far the best user of said perk. M&A is the more must-have perk compared to any other, and I value Nurse's as well over MYC.
I personally run Nurse's, Ruin, MYC, and M&A on Hag. Ruin gives me time to set up my traps at the beginning of the game, which I value over having 4 consistent perks. Some Hag mains (which I'm not) like using Sloppy Butcher instead of Ruin (or instead of MYC). Replacing either is fine, it's personal preference. Also, for anyone who has any questions on any killer (not just Hag), this discord is a great place to start: https://discord.gg/yUYRj96
It has mains of literally every killer who are more than willing to help out newer players. And the Hag section of it is always active. -
I have heard from some people she can do a 3 gen lockdown pretty well, with the catalyst traps. And postpone a game pretty well with ruin. Ill try to keep in mind to be defensivePeanits said:Play defensive. You can do way more by trapping up a couple generators and the nearby pallets/windows than you could by chasing. She's a 4.4 killer, so you don't want to chase unless you absolutely have to.
Also keep in mind that her traps will grab the survivor's camera. You can use this to your advantage by placing traps a little off to the side of a loop. This will allow you to gain a little bit of distance as they go running off towards it for a second and could make the difference between whether or not you get to the pallet or not. -
Ah thanks.Vietfox said:MYC is a must for the hag.
I usually place the traps on one side of the pallets, windows, random places and 2 at the shack (if it's within the area i want to trap), 1 at the window (outside) and 1 at the door with the pallet (also outside).
When in a chase, if survivors trigger the traps by the pallets don't instantly teleport, because smart survivors will expect you to teleport and they'll turn back, dropping the pallet behind them and leaving you on the other side.
Since you cant trap the whole area effectively i advise you to trap one side, the one with most generators close to each other
The hag is a really good killer who doesnt really need addons or perks to do well, so the other 3 perks are up to you. I use MYC because it's an antitunneling perk.
I also like the idea. Behind MYC, but some do say that promotes a Proximity esque camp.(usually survivors whom I've played against) its a fun perk design.
I will keep the shack bit in mind. And the more Catalysts on the closely knit gens -
Best example... Last two gens needed.. XDDwightsLifeMatters said:It seems like since the introduction of gen regression everyone dropped his IQ into "me see gen! Me finish now!" level.
Honestly, if you see a gen at 99% there is most likely a reason why someone left it and the most obvious reason is map split. It happens so often that I'm the only survivor in the team who has map awareness and keeps the last gen on the other side of the map at 99% or don't even touch it till 1 gen is left.
Why are my random team mates always so stupid? Just another proof how busted this ranking system is even on rank 1. -
I think i know some good places(often used loops, certain pallets) would those be a good place to start?DwightsLifeMatters said:U don't chase as hag. U place traps.

Yep. Suvivors gen rushing is always a chance for any killer imoDwight_Fairfield said:I love Michael. Both playing as him and against him. I'm a Michael main as killer.
I think most killers need to slow the game down. Its hardly exclusive to Myers. Its very easy to get gen rushed with an organized team. Its why most killers use hex ruin, in spite of it often being taken out early in the game. They need it to slow the game down, if even just for a little bit.

I hear a complaint thats the opposite of this haha, they prefer getting down quicker, rather then chased across the map(not trying to say your argument is invalid it can be boring and unfun both ways) but id honestly prefer going down in a few less hits if you understand i dont want to be on a chase through the map.
But id prefer if he wasnt a m2 and down like a certain other killer thats top tier. Tho he can be fun... Racing across the map haha

nikodelpino said:Honestly I think the concept would have been different. I think he should have been a killer with 115 movement speed that instead of vaulting windows and pallets with his power, he could break pallets quicker (similar to having brutal strenght) and vault windows quicker that the base speed (as Myers in Evil Within III). I wish Legion didn't apply the Deep Wound status effect with his power, just normal hits.
So then instead of vaulting windows and pallets and getting free hits but with largely extended chases, he could just be a normal 115 movement speed killer that uses his power to cut down chases and down you with two hits as any other killer instead of getting the Deep Wound status effect, it would be much more fun to play as and against.
are you saying,
1)make him a complete M1 killer, whos ability can be easily replaced with perks that other killers are already using
Or
2)a killer who has base abillities of said perks, and still has a speed rush m2 and can two hit down you in like the first 30 seconds to min?
Because any surivior ive played against would say SCREW THAT on the second one, and the first one would make him even more irrelevant imo.I mean number two, a killer that has a speed rush m2 and can hit you down in two hits but can't vault pallets or windows with an insane speed. I also think that while he's using the power he can break pallets slightly faster or vault windows slightly faster, but only when using his power.
I don't know who are those survivors, but when I play survivor I honestly prefer that option rather than being chased by a killer who doesn't care about pallets or windows and downs me after being hit 3-4 times in a chase without being able to counter it in any possible way.
-
No. Its not the conplaint against Safe spaces i sew the most, its the chase. Lets say a good survivor can keep him busy while all gena get done, but then what? Killer wasted time, and surivor did nothing but be chased. Which is.. Upsetting for both sidesCetren said:I don't understand the complaints against him. Like, you're going to go down eventually yeah, and yes he can ignore pallets and windows, here's the problem, when the two mix, he needs to hit you 5 times in order to make that happen, all while waiting for fatigue plus power recharge. This means he's one of the slowest killers to down despite having the highest mobility.
Option number two is that he hits you 1-2 times with his M1 attack, which is exactly the same as hag, huntress, or spirit's basic attack, and weaker than most of the others. In which case it's not a legion specific problem and I'm not sure why you're complaining.
Either way, just sounds like and bunch of people that want more safe spaces. (In the game. Like windows and pallets.) -

"Camper for coming back"Or "camping" after all the exit gates are open and you have 1 person on the hook. Like what is the killer supposed to do, go pick some apples on the other side of the map? There's literally no reason to leave at that point and I don't blame any killer for camping once gates are open.
