@Chi
The thing is. Some think that you camping when your patroling.
I.E.
Hooked next to one of the last three gens.
"Camper for coming back" -
Some people are easily agitated.Attackfrog said:@SenzuDuck said:

Playing in a way that is frustrating to the opposition is as old as the concept of opposition iteslf, yet how some survivors get so triggered by me standing by their hook for 2 mins that they call me racial slurs and tell me to kill my self is beyond me.I by no means condone that though so, ok? Racial slurs are a bannable offence, tbagging is not, so comparing them is silly.
But here we are, once again - having a pissing contest about who is worse when both sides are just as bad as each other.
and camping is super boring anyway so I very rarely ever get attacked for such gameplay.
It's not much of a contest...
But to the point: tbagging is not bannable. Neither is camping, yet both result in someone getting triggered and spouting off post game chat. So they are comparable.
Both are forms of in game taunting and frustrating your opposition. Both are just pixels, but generate very real frustration (probably too much frustration for some folks).
Before the argument that camping has in-game consequences, I will point out that so does teabagging. Some people teabag to taunt the killer to chase while teammates pop objectives. Some people camp to hit survivors when they rush the hook.I
Neither side really HAS to take the bait OR get triggered...And yet...some do.
Some one calls me that or anything im just normally heeey i see i got under your skin too. Gg for me.
But sometimes when someone says it for the Nth time tobsone people its... Like a pile of stress. -

I get "gg EZ" whether 1,2 or 3 escape.
If it's a 4k it's "baby killer go [BAD WORD] camper you f****ing n*****"
it honestly blows my mind how that's allowed.
Well... Salt is real. And if your offended by said people saying said things, realize this. If you 4k you made them alll suffer. Therefore, you won both ingame and outside of game.
But seriously ez after a 3k is... A bit stupid.
If it was EZ why arwnt Sacrifices 1 2 and 3 with ya? -
Because survivor mains would have a harder time being tracked with NC and make NC a must have for said chars meta. Its also why they are planning on making doctors madness one out of the sense status for NC. I mean it would be amazing but i understand from a balence view point
-
Well... It's not worth slugging tbh. Not with the rampant D/C craze for the hatch escape.
-
@thesuicidefox
Great idea actually. It wouldn't be far fetched imo -
I honestly think why they did the three Original DLC in a row is because they said they had done a string of Licenced. Im sure that they'll try to do more. And if they do im all for it. Doesn't matter if its Jason or even the Rings supernatural Well dweller. But this game has done amazing things with other killers IMO.

@Nickenzie, your action with these gifts, makes me proud to even hop on this community forum. Thank you for being here, and. for being a kind person this very day

That would make it so a killer wont use it.
Unless unrepaired means no progress only. Because lets say a crouched pig gets closer tp the gen that has progress(which let's say in this example counts as unrepaired) any survivor can just slip around. Making it less possible for killers to get any hooks. Plus the third hook is a guarenteed sacrifice. So killers whom run this rework, will decide to just.. Ignore the obsession. Another reason to slug, and another reason to piss off survivors because "nooo you should have carried me and hooked me regardless of perks!" -
Just giving him some sneak peaks at his new collectors piece eh?HellDescent said:Make sure to do that to a Clown with a mori.

@DwightsLifeMatters to clarify, im not attacking. But i think they meant "just keep x perkslots per prestige unlocked" not a new four.DwightsLifeMatters said:
Calling urself pure balance but suggesting such an imbalance change so new players get even more bullied. Good job.purebalance said:Doubtful the UI would look weird.
I would like it when you prestige that each time you keep 1 extra perk slot. 1=2 slots 2=3 and 3=all 4
But if that ruins the balence/bully the newbies im not sure how unless, your matched for character level? When i read it at first tho i thought "adding another slot" so if you saw that i totally understand -
If anyone plays just to D/C... That's juat humorously stupid. Deranking is easy. Just be a cocky potato, so why not i dunno... mess up gens(when by your self) fail at breaking a totem. Run through the middle of the map?Iceman said:@Dokta_Carter
1.” Haha I was going to dc in the beginning, I just wanted to waste your time”
2. “You don’t deserve the kill, you tunneled/camp me”
3. “I don’t like going against this killer”
4. “ I just want to derank”
5. “ These survivors are too toxic”
6. “ I don’t like this map”
I am pretty sure there are more reasons Lol
But im wondering. Dont i get more points from a dc, after i hooked them just once? Or does quiter bonus vary?(pardon my english, although its my first language i just gave up on spelling) -
I just dont understand people(even in SWF) dcing due to slug. Maybe if be cool with it if lets say. Said person has P3 everything. But in most cases, why say nah to bp? If i was in a SWF and my bud d/c for a hatch? I'd chew them out. A single escape is not a win if it costs your or your buddys to lose BP. I also heard its bannable so... Why risk it?Master said:@Vietfox said:
Or just slugDC?

I would like to suggest, if the hatch is closed, the survivor should be able to skill check it open. Might not be 100% smart but it can make it fair when a killer shuts the hatch, the survivor(with out key) should be able to "pry it open" if it was opened due to being last surivor standing. That way the survivor can "mind game" the killer failing a gen then sneak over and skill check it open.Yoinked said:
I agree there needs to be some sort of rework. Also appreciate laying that whole perspective out. However I feel like I need to just make one more statement on closing the hatch. I’ve played a round against legion where I needed to escape via hatch or gen and I had 1 gen left. To be honest I couldn’t even find the hatch I searched and I realized I think he was walking around it I think because he found me chased me but I lost him. I ran to the other side of the map, finished one whole gen and escaped by myself out of the exit gates. I think allowing the killer to at least close it once and if there’s 2 needed or 3 each gen will open up the hatch again forcing you to close it but maybe the closing animation is longer or maybe you can only close it just once. And if there was only 1 gen left regardless then if the survivor can successfully get a gen then they once again have 3 means of escape. It would make it a huge challenge for the survivor but also do it just right it’s definitly achievable. There’s even a perk that allows gens to progress faster if they’re a lone survivor so there are tools to allow a 1 v 1. Maybe it really would be too hard but on a large map the hens are far and you bait them and work around all the gens idk. It could make 1 v 1 situation very exciting and not a dull stand off. But like you said maybe it’s too hard but idk I don’t like the sound of that even as a 1v1 with a supernatural murderer shouldn’t be so easy anyways.Peanits said:I don't think you'll find many people who will tell you that the hatch is great, but let's just explore the alternative for a second.
So you close the hatch. Now what?
The survivor needs to power up to three generators as the killer patrols them. You can very easily patrol an entire map in 80 seconds (the time it takes for that one survivor to fix a generator), and if you hear that a generator has progressed, you'll know the survivor is around. For the survivor, touching a generator is suicide. It's a "come kill me" alarm. In a normal game, this is no big deal, you get chased, other people keep fixing generators and then maybe you get saved. When you're the last survivor, that's it, that's game over.
So naturally they would wait for the perfect opportunity, where they can magically completely fix a generator before the killer can return, except that opportunity never comes. If they attempt to fix a generator, they're dead. Queue the hide and seek world championship. They have no reason to try to escape because trying to escape is actually trying to die faster. They wouldn't be griefing either because by definition they are just trying to win.
I'm totally down for an end-game rework, but closing the hatch alone would not quite work. Even if it powers the gates and allows the survivors to work on either one, it would be pretty much the same situation. Some gates spawn just a couple tiles away from each other, making them incredibly easy to patrol. On some occasions, they even spawn in eye shot of each other, so you could literally stand in front of one and stare at the other. If the survivor dares to touch them, they get a red "come kill me" light on them too.
TL;DR: It's great on paper, but it wouldn't quite work in practice. That is why the hatch change didn't go through.
And to those whom say instant kill on survivor on sealing. I wpuld think that ruins the qhole... Cat and mouse feel the game has. At leaat give em a chance to open the gates.

are you saying, nikodelpino said:Honestly I think the concept would have been different. I think he should have been a killer with 115 movement speed that instead of vaulting windows and pallets with his power, he could break pallets quicker (similar to having brutal strenght) and vault windows quicker that the base speed (as Myers in Evil Within III). I wish Legion didn't apply the Deep Wound status effect with his power, just normal hits.
So then instead of vaulting windows and pallets and getting free hits but with largely extended chases, he could just be a normal 115 movement speed killer that uses his power to cut down chases and down you with two hits as any other killer instead of getting the Deep Wound status effect, it would be much more fun to play as and against.
1)make him a complete M1 killer, whos ability can be easily replaced with perks that other killers are already using
Or
2)a killer who has base abillities of said perks, and still has a speed rush m2 and can two hit down you in like the first 30 seconds to min?
Because any surivior ive played against would say SCREW THAT on the second one, and the first one would make him even more irrelevant imo.

If they just remove him from the game it
1)Wasted the times of the people whom developed Legion
And
2) Wasted all the blood points people put in to him.
Even for a killer i hate, I'd rather a rework, then a full on remove.
I've seen many a Legion mess up and not hook a single survivor, and other times ive seen a 4k. He needs a rework not a removal from the game.
Appologies if i sound like im attacking you or being entitledNot to mention that they'd need to refund all people who bought Legion and their cosmetics..
Loss of revenue is a big no-go.
This is it. I whole heartedly agree on a rework. Both from a killer and survivor perspectivePoweas said:

But as a few others said
Skill can make or break Legion. Be it him or you against him.
In the end you need to think of how to counter now rather then just hope he gets changed tomorrow.
As someone whom used him, pallets are both a problem and not a problem.
Yea you can vault over it, but if i wiff as someone 360s then vaults over it as i cool down, i lose time.
He is enjoyable in the sense of... I dont have hillbilly/LF's click and down when i got them where i want em.
I can get juked easier in frenzy, he has a stack of cons if you play as him. If you have a problem with him at any rank, then a decent rank 1 Legion is gonna have a field day till we all find out how to counter him. -

I'm just pointing out,
He has a lot of cons compared to pro.
He isn't garbage IMO, he's just a veeery 4 perk and add on heavy, but if i'm going to be honest. He is a killer to be learned. And I'm glad he isn't another Billy that litterally one hit downs survivors to easily. Not that i hate Billy.
