  • Thank you devs for giving us an annoying ass mosquito as a killer.

  • Susie looks like a twitch thot tbh. I doubt Frank would want anything to do with her.

  • Quick Question: Exactly how is this going to help considering the last time this was done not a thing was done to fix it?

So you weren't affected at all and went into his chat to talk ######### anyways?

Now you came here to talk #########?

Why do you care so much?

The whole streamer thing was a side bar, and i didn't really talk ######### nor am i talking ######### of any kind here as well. Just calling out how BS it is for killers to do this sort of thing, and screw themselves out of points.

  • No, money was well spent, got a game that gave me a story and something that i love. Gave me a character that i aspire to be in the future (Detective Tapp/Homicide Detective) and made wake up in the morning to continue playing it.

  • Could we use oc characters? With our own perks and such?

  • We don't need more than 4 perk slots. End of this discussion.

  • Dwight: Black and Blue with the College Daze and Grape Crushers. (Going for that horror movie look)

Detective Tapp: Investigation suit with Tactical Trousers and Investigation Tapp head

  • Detective Tapp is my all around favorite.

  • How about you just go back to playing the game. Because we all know good and well as much as you ######### talk this game you most likely will still be waking up in the morning to play it.

    1. Lithe
    2. Windows of Opportunity
    3. Stake Out
    4. Detectives Hunch
  • Monstrous Shrine should be reworked so that it applies to every hook on the map.

When the Devs themselves bring the weapons to their community to act even more toxic.

Dishonest stats used by dishonests peoples, and always the same type, since this game's release.

I laught at peoples who don't want to admit that these Devs made, and still make money on this toxic atmosphere.

I have no polite names for this kind of "peoples" practicing this kind of business strategy.

Dishonest stats by dishonest people? Then why are you even here? Just to cry? You people are just blind to facts that don’t agree with your point of view, you see the truth but can’t handle that they didn’t say what you wanted , I personally feel as if the game is already balanced I see no issue on either side at rank one

If you think the game is perfectly balanced with nothing wrong, then that just shows your a dunce survivor main that's been playing since 2016. The game has everything wrong with it, certain bugs and glitches, as well as broken hitboxes and poor map design, the only reason every single speck of salt in this community is still playing the game, is simply because of the content and DLC. To go and say that the game is perfectly fine is like saying there is nothing wrong with random crits in tf2.

  • Forget the whole 21 years old thing. That's ridiculous, only a few of them are 21 and some of them are older.

  • The next Red Dead game needs to be about a marshal defending his town. We have already had two stories about outlaws. We need one about one of the good guys for a change, a Marshal Or Sheriff protecting his town from gangs that want to lay waste to what he has built and kept in line. As well as hunting down a serial killer or notorious gang that is wanted for robbery and murder.

  • Actually Dwight is the one who became his apprentice. It says so on his outfit, Claudette is the one who became his pupil. Which is like a student below apprentice or something.

  • As long as no one gets in the way of Detective Thomas, then i am fine. Don't care for the rest.

Have you tried re-installing? Also this appears to be the “Lore” section.

Yea and i noticed it yesterday but i can't delete it unfortunately.

@JoannaVO Shipping a teacher and a student is more than a little scandalous you know.

She's an adult. Not to mention he is a Professor in Japan, and she went to college in Canada.

  • Nope. Haven't gotten any.

I only do it because it gives me more reasons to play the game. People who don't wanna prestige are just lazy and don't like the extra grind.

Or maybe they got other games they like to play and don't want to play dbd without the perks they want all over again during that 1 hour they play once every other day.

It is literally not even that hard to grind back to get your perks back. When Tapp came out i grinded heavily to get him to p3 and then got all perks on him. As stated before, people don't want to p3 because they are too lazy and don't like the extra grind.

  • I only do it because it gives me more reasons to play the game. People who don't wanna prestige are just lazy and don't like the extra grind.

  • I used to use it on my Billy and would quite frequently would catch someone in the basement which would lead to some pretty good plays. It would apply pressure very hard on the survivors early in the game. In the words of the toxic survivor Jendenise "We just wanna spice the game up a bit" ;)

  • Ever been in a bad dream and you wanted to say something but you couldn't? What about sleep paralysis? From personal experience i was not able to talk due to my whole body being paralyzed. Think of it this way, When you're in a world where the sole ruler is that of some kind of malevolent being hell bent on ruling your world. It has rules, and of those rules is that you are not supposed to talk during the trial. EVER. So to sum all of it up. The Entity probably restricted speech from the survivors, so when they try to talk it's nothing but muffled dialogue. There's your answer.

  • Jonathan looked around the misty covered intersection before answering his question. "No, sadly i don't. I was just heading home to see if my daughter was ok before i ran into you. " He threw his hands in the air at the young man and sighed.

He looked down at the bike and seeing the damage he caused to it. "Sorry....about the bike" he said.

  • I think you don't understand. Even if both sides were to coexist, there still would be that small majority of survivor mains that think the game is perfectly fine. And some killer mains that think the game is not. There is no in between, there will still be survivor mains like Angrypug and Jendenise who have a skewed point of view of the game because they only play one side and say everything is perfect. There will still be salty people in the end game chat who want to bring you down because you killed them in a video game. There is nothing that can be done about it. As much as we want to change it, there is nothing that can be done about it.

  • Jonathan put his hands on his hips. "So you to huh?, You haven't seen anyone since you then?" He asked. He knew there had to be some kind of connection as to why they woke up in this strange place. Jonathan knew the place he left off was his office in the Department. But he had know idea how he would've ended up from a city to a small town. He decided to question further. "What do you remember before you got here?"

  • Jonathan furrowed his eyes. "The only person who would've been hurt is you buddy. What the hell are doing in the middle of the intersection on your bike?" He asked. Jonathan had to gather some information as much as he could. He needed to know exactly what the hell was going on here.

  • Jonathan swerved the car out of the direction of the young man on his bike. Just barely grazing him, he tries to get control of the wheel, gripping it to the point to where it looks as if his veins are going to pop. He spins in circles until stopping a few short meters down the road. He breathes heavily as he looks out to the young man who he almost took the life of.

"Son of a #########" Said Jonathan as he unclipped his seatbelt and got out of the car. He was about to give this guy a piece of his mind.

  • Would you want to see what was left of her mother? I know I'm a homicide detective but I'm not too keen on seeing exactly what all of her mother was left.
  • Something tells me if we didn't get Tapp. This would be our Detective survivor. Not only that but if anyone knows the hit show True Detective, they just dropped their trailer for season 3, and the dude strongly resembles Adam.

In terms of his lore, I love it. Part of my heritage is Jamaican, so I'll main him with pride. He won't overtake Tapp but he'll be a close second. Also, I feel like The Entity deliberately caused The derailment of the Train, it wanted to bring him in with a bang and so it did. It wanted someone smart. Intelligent and it found one. And decided to bring him in in the most disastrous way possible. If this true, this would prove that The Entity could have a grasp in our world and is starting to work in the way that Death itself normally would. Except in it's case. Death is not an escape.
  • Ngl finding a dead daughter hell-bent on getting revenge on her father sexy is a little weird. Won't take long before the basement dwellers rule 34 her. But hey, whatever you find exciting is perfectly up to you.
  • I think the only way you could make bloodwarden better is if have the spikes stay there until the survivor is rescued. Or if we were going by timer. You could have the time prolonged if you have another survivor hooked. If one of them is rescued then the timer is shortened. Simple as that.

I never noticed the basement is growling. It has life of its own

Because it's the Entitys home. Where it truly dwells the perk monstrous shrine confirms this "Then you will know that there is no escape, when you hang in the depths, you face the dark one". My question is, what's beyond the walls of the basement where only a certain amount of light is seen breaking through.
  • This would make her the only killer that would have any interaction with the survivor before killing them. I like this.

I mean, it could still be slit mouth because even if he said daughter. She could have done something to warrant him to slit her mouth probably having sex with someone the father did kot like before killing her. So slit mouth is still a possibility.

He's a samurai. "Honor" killings aren't usually rooted in anything bad by today's standards; they're rooted in archaic principles of what constitutes "honor".

Could be a really old school samurai.
  • I mean, it could still be slit mouth because even if he said daughter. She could have done something to warrant him to slit her mouth probably having sex with someone the father did not like before killing her. So slit mouth is still a possibility.
  • They did say that they would talk to the license holders. But it would take some time.
  • Jonathan was on his phone. Trying to phone his daughter, something he doesn't normally do at the wheel. Seeing as he was getting no reception he then threw the phone down and looked to see someone on his bike

"Son of a-" he started to honk the horn but it was too late.
  • Eh as long as he isn't on PC anymore it's fine by me
  • Most of these people defending SWF probably haven't been playing the game for awhile and think the game is perfectly balanced. Not only that. They can't seem to survive on their own and they just downright suck at the game, which is why they need someone to carry them.
  • I like how everyone is already dead set on it being grudge because of the map.
  • Jonathan awoke at his desk with a start. He looked up and rubbed his eyes, he didn't know if he was dreaming or what, he looked down at his holster. His gun and it was shown to still be there and intact.

"There's...no way..." He said to himself as he tried to comprehend what was happening, the department was empty and he was the only one present. He decided to see if his daughter was still home. Putting on his coat and grabbing his car keys. He headed out the door and started the car and began to drove down the street. Hoping his daughter would be there waiting for him.
  • Hmm. Not really, I wouldn't want to feel a hook Pierce through my shoulder and struggle with a living lovecraftian entity only to get stabbed multiple times and have my sould devoured by it.
  • Actually I wouldn't mind this. It would let the killer and the other members on the team know that he/she is in a vulnerable position.
  • Name: Jonathan Elijah Matthews/ Detective Jonathan

    Age: 57

    Sex: Male

    Gender: Male

    Ethnicity: African American

    Family: Stephanie Matthews (Step Daughter)

Appearance: A well dressed man in a dress shirt with a tie and pressed slacks. His shown to have shoulder holsters with his badge clipped on.

    Abilities: Perception, Leadership, Marksman

Personality: Jonathan isn't your standard run of the mill Detective. He is a Detective that actually cares and is determined to catch the men responsible for what they have done. He is someone who is shown to really try to have people trust cops more than fear them. Although, he is someone who is blunt, and has no time for #########. He likes to take action and he likes to conduct a plan before going in. He is someone who will lay down his life for others. If it means getting out alive.

Flaws: Although he is good in Marksmanship. He does fall behind with his Age, Jonathan isn't someone who you would call a "Distraction" although he doesn't mind putting himself in that position. Just don't expect much from him. Not only that, but he isn't really good in hand to hand combat. He prefers to fight his enemies at a distance.

Items usually always on hand: Badge Id, Model 29 Revolver and a locket his step daughter gave him.

Background: Detective Jonathan is a good and honest cop. A man who went by the book, he always tried to follow orders and cosequently found himself at the top of the ladder in his precint being one of those wanting to be determined to catch those responsible for what they have done. When hearing that people were going missing and leaving no trace across the entire city, He tried his hardest to figure out what was going on. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and Jonathan was not able to find them, but, he refused to give up, Little did he know, this would be his last case, Jonathan stayed behind for another round of overtime. Little did he know, he was being watched. The room began to feel cold and Jonathan began to feel tired. A almost whale like croak was heard as a Mysterious fog began to roll in Jonathan couldn't keep his eyes open. As he suddenly lost consciousness. Most people thought he went home after that. But little did they know, is that Jonathan became apart of something bigger than he could have ever imagined.

Benedict Baker Writing: "I have seen someone new in this nightmare, a man of African American descent looking as if with an earnest demeanor of one who has spent his life protecting others. Dressed finely in a brownish shirt with pressed slacks along with a pair of holsters on his shoulder, Although he is armed, he only has one bullet. And i don't know if he means to use it on himself, one of us, or the monsters that hunt us, as if it would do any good against the horrors of the realm. He seems to be alert at all times, and despite looking elderly at times, this man possesses an indeterminable amount of strength, fighting the entity to the very core, even when all seems lost. What kind of determination does this man have that will not allow him to give up?

    (Jonathans Famous Model 29)
(Jonathan arrives in The Entitys Realm, determined to put a stop to the torment)
(Jonathan receives news about numerous missing persons cases popping up all over.)

(Yes I am aware that we already have a detective in the game. But my character was created way before Tapp was brought in, and for the sake of this roleplay I would like to play him)

I don't know, that seems like a pretty good amount of variety to me.

I always picture every David King player as a 140lbs basement dweller or a 300lbs slob

Why do you think they like him so much? He's something that they wish to be. But they are not.
