"The tracking system for Daily Rituals has been reworked, which requires all rituals to be reset with this patch." - 5.6.0 PTB Patch Notes

Again you guys are just talking to a brick wall. According to BHVR Dead hard is fine even tho it's in 90% of games. Just BaIT THe deAd hard XD.
The developers in the last Q&A said that Dead Hard is going to be changed, but they aren't saying what aspect. They talked both about how survivors use it for distance which, btw, wasn't intended by the devs and just based on what they said, they don't like it either. Which technically would make it an exploit anyone who uses it solely for distance. (not that it matters that it's an exploit, people have exploited for years with little to no punishment so).

I see NOED the most out of all those and I still rarely ever see NOED. I feel like if Exposed was such a reliance or "crutch" people would only ever play the instadown killers, but besides Bubba, you rarely ever see them.
-
It would have to be a sabo build because the minimum amount of hooks on the Autohaven maps (according to the wiki) is 6-8 hooks depending on which Autohaven map. Any less, they probably brought silent sabo builds. With the yellow add-on for no notifications and toolboxes. That is the only way with 4 offerings for it to even reach 2.
-
I did it in 1 game because the survivors felt bad because I was accidentally afk until a quarter the way through egc. (Haven't tried it on switch yet, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm)
-
I think it's safe to say that as much as we would love to see some sort of rework or removal of the map, BHVR's hands are tied and they're tied by a rope called CAPCOM. Seriously, it's probably licensing why it's a replica. My only suggestion is to play Resident Evil 2 to learn the map. The developers did mention that if you played RE2, you will have a much easier time navigating the map. I started playing RE2 in December and I have to say, it made the map SO much more enjoyable and easier to navigate. Not saying it's balanced, just easier.

mostly the god awful part
I'd say it's a lot closer to 50/50 instead of mostly god awful
-
It honestly depends. My killer main is Pig and matches against her can either be amazing or god awful
-
They told us that it had to deal with dlcs transferring. Not all dlcs are transferring when you crossprogress with switch and for some reason that's outside their control.
-
"This is about to be the most boring match on the planet"
99 out of 100 times I'm right
-
For the Huntress fact, it only stops for whoever plays Huntress and whoever is being chased. If you are not getting chased, but someone else is, and you stand near Huntress, the lullaby will still be there.

I've been on the other side of this too much; I'm literally across the map, guy gets hooked, im like "The others will save him while i keep gen progress going."
1:30 later I'm making a mad dash to the survivor wondering why they arent saved yet only to find tweedle dee and tweedle dum playing BM simulator with the killer 2m from the hook.
I felt this statement on so many levels
-
How I got it on Playstation was an accident, I had to do something that I thought was gonna be quick and thought I was going to be back by the time I got in a lobby and match. Well... I got back a quarter of the way through egc. Then the survivors felt bad so they gave me hooks right next to the gate and I took that moment to get the challenge and only used my chainsaw. What luck
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
This is exactly the same Challenge like in the Hillbilly-Tome before. This was also at Level 3 of the Tome and players managed to do it.
Not every challenge has to be super-easy...
You mean back before mmr was a thing and you had a chance of getting potato survivors without having to play at night or trying to lower your mmr. Right. Not a fight, just a fact.
-
I remember the last time we had to do this challenge, I got it by pure luck. I honestly can't remember if it was luck due to farming or luck due to survivors being dumb and basically just running into my chainsaw.

"It doesn't do much, nor hard to counter". Ok.
The first part of that statement "It doesn't do much", I agree with the "Ok" response. However they do have a point that it's not that difficult to counter.

Well done!
I had all survivors p350 up to the twins release on ps4 but then I switched to xbox full time so currently only Meg is p350 (with all tier 3 perks) all other survivors are level 50 except Kate who is either p150 or p250 I forget.
Virtually all my killers are at level 50 or close to it i'll get there one day still a couple of years off though probably I don't have the time to play nearly as much as I use to.
Thank you!! Yeah in December I got a PS5 and got dbd on that and after all the work I've put in on this account I'm like, "I'm literally only going to P3 Lv 50 one character on Playstation, just for the achievements, everyone else I'm good with just plain old Level 50"

Meg: I'm sorry ###### of Pig, I tried to help
Me: Did the game seriously just censor my name?
Me: ###### of Pig
Meg: Wow that's lame
Not kidding, this happened. You can't say my username in endgame chat. It'll censor it.

Offer RPD next, it's hilarious watching the gens go from flying to a stand still while you're racking up the hooks and jump scaring like no tomorrow. With Plaything of course
-
My top 3 are definitely the red, yellow, and white glyphs. However, the white glyph takes the cake because I like the idea of getting an item version of the glyph and having to take it somewhere.
-
None of them are overpowered, but Pinhead is definitely the strongest of the 3
-
I'd say half the time they're never broken and half the time they're broken within the first minutes. Maybe a little longer with Undying but not by much.
-
I know Decisive is avoidable but I constantly think of those rounds where you're just doing really poorly and then you need to tunnel and are hit with DS.
-
Now that Demo is unpurchasable, it makes me want to see Alien even more. You don't really get less humanoid then a straight up space creature like that. We have been getting a lot of very human looking killers recently and I want to see more monstrous/deformed killers.

The fact that for a killer is more straightforward and that you don't need to coordinate and compete with other people makes it easier by default tho, doesn't it?
Even if you are in a SWF, you're still competing for the gens, the unhooks and the chases with each other, and it ######### sucks even because usually you are not the one to say "Ok mr killer, I should be maxed out in Chaser, could you please ignore me for the rest of the game so I can work on my Lightbringer emblem please?"
That's very true. I guess I should say it's not as difficult for survivors in a swf than in solo queue, not so much that it's easier than killer.
-
To me, this is going to be no different than when the obsession is being chased. Sure, you'll be more alert when no one is in chase, but I feel like when you know it's a stealth killer you're on high alert at all times anyways. I don't think it'll do as much as you think but change how often you're on high alert.

Let's see
From a killer perspective, ALL you emblems generally come from one aspect of the game: finding and hooking survivors
Gatekeeper: If you find and hook survivors quick enough, they don't have time to complete the gens because they are busy being on the hook, being chased, or rescuing the other hooked survivors.
Devout: You literally need to kill survivors for this emblem, as long as you keep hooking them, they'll die.
Malicious: You need to hit survivors and hook them to gain points in this emblem, which is VERY similar to the Devout emblem (yes, some killers have a slightly harder time with this emblem due to the nature of their power, but can usually get silver or gold without thinking about it).
Chaser: You need to chase survivors to get points, core part of the gameplay, end your chases fast and you're good (here you gain points for hitting a survivor in chase as well, like in the Malicious emblem).
Now from a Survivor point of view, you have 4 different emblems that come from 4 different playstyles, and in some cases you are competing with your team to gain points
Lightbringer: Complete generators and cleanse totems, you are competing with your team since there are limited resources, and you cannot do anything else while you gain points in this emblem (yes, being chased while the others repair gens progresses this, but the gain is miniscule in that case).
Unbroken: Highest points awarded if you escape whithout being downed, if you die you gain points by staying alive as long as possible: this is probably the easiest one to understand, but it punishes you greatly if have a bad team (you cannot go higher than Silver if you die).
Benevolent: Help your teammates by doing altruistic actions, you are competing with your team for this emblem, and you cannot do anything else while you gain points in this emblem (again).
Chaser: Either stay in chase for a long time, or hide VERY well close to the killer. It doesn't sound bad, until you realize that hiding is basically useless nowadays unless you have a specific build for it, and being chased means you cannot progress in Benevolent or Lightbringer, and you'll get most likely downed at some point, denying the Iridescent in Unbroken, and potentially getting you killed.
Yeah, I'd say that if you need to pip, killer has less things to think about in order to do so
The one thing I can give credit to for killer is that all the emblems relate to each other and all you need to focus on is your job. With Survivor, it's like "How often was I chased?" "Did I do enough gens?" "How many unhooks and heals did I get" "How many times was I downed?"
Killer is definitely a lot more straightforward. However, I think for survivor it can be easier if you're in an at least semicompetent swf.

As much as it might kill ya you might as well just unlock the old fashioned way unless you dont own him of course. Always save my iri shards for new unlicensed killers instead of SoS
I agree. We have no idea how long it will be before it's in the SoS again. Some perks appear what feels like every other week and others appear only when pigs fly they're so rare.

I dont think anything can be done.
It is true that it might result in the game taken hostage, either by the Survivors or the Killer. For the Survivors, if they just refuse to do Gens, for the Killer, if they refuse to progress the game (by chasing a Survivor). Both parties can hold the game hostage at this point.
But, 3 Gens happen and often enough it is because Survivors dont pay attention. And the Killer should not be at a disadvantage, just because of Hostage Situations.
IMO the only thing that can help is that BHVR eliminates Outliers and tries to do a distribution of Gens which is as equal as possible. "Funny" things like 4 or even 5 Gens on one side of Azarovs Resting Place and only 2/3 on the other side should not happen. But aside from those outliers, nothing really can or should be done IMO.
I've even had games where I could gold a 6 gen. Seriously I got a 4k once as Huntress on Thompson House because 6 of the 7 gens spawned on one side of the map.

It will most likely be on tuesday.

I take it you never went to The Game map before?
Who?
-
Personally I find Bubba to be extremely boring. All they do is get on top of you and then chainsaw you then camp, tunnel, and bm you. It's not fun.
-
@GeneralV said:
I think tunneling can be split in two.
Tunneling because you have to: not toxic.
Tunneling because you want to: toxic.
I honestly wish more people understood this. I've had survivors accuse me of being toxic and start being toxic in game when I got my first hook at 1 or 2 gens and I want to secure a kill by tunneling because I won't otherwise.
-
With the rift fragments you get from challenges? No. It's impossible. I don't remember how far off you'd be, I just remember you can't.
-
I prefer the skill checks, I just wish hitting the greats didn't speed up the process. It messes up the timing, even if it is just a second, and just feels like an unnecessary buff.
-
Personally, I don't think they'd ACTUALLY do another Resident Evil Chapter. However, the chapter we do have does represent old school Resident Evil well and I'd want a new school Resident Evil Chapter if they were to do another.
-
New realms are great and all, but with every new realm is a new offering that clogs up the bloodwebs where I could be getting bps or add-ons. I'd rather have new locations within the realms.
-
I didn't get mine
Honestly at this point I just want them to release the shards to everyone. It may give people who already got them more shards, but releasing them to everyone would be better than playing the guessing game.
I've now heard stories of people getting them twice, people never getting them, and people who don't own/play Bubba getting them. While at the same time, there are people who had all the masks that still don't have them.
-
I am now a shell. That thing is cursed. CURSED.
-
I'm pretty sure it's fake, but if it's true it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. What they're saying they're going to do to Trickster and Yin-Jin makes it sound like "Oh yeah we're buying these characters but in all actuality we're completely changing them so we don't actually want them."
I don't think BHVR would sell their own original characters to someone who basically wants to get rid of everything but their models and name

I thought wiggle regressing was only while you're carrying the survivor and you stop wiggling.
It used to also regress if you were dropped, but it would take a while for it to feel like it activated because when initially dropped you get more wiggle progress.
-
Personally, no one that's like long term. I've played against a few of the switch players on switch servers, the very rare and rarely post switch players.
-
Honestly please give us this.
-
Not excited for the bugs, but as far as the actual chapter content, I'm very excited.

No. Which is why I don't think BT should be basekit?
Why would you even assume this?
The devs hinted they might be considering it last Q&A stream. Someone asked if they'd make BT and/or DS basekit and they said something along the lines of "We're not looking into DS being basekit" then they asked again and repeated the answer.
-
I used to love facing Nemesis, but now he's like every other game for me. So no, I don't like facing Nemesis anymore. It's too repetitive.
-
I definitely think shards instead of auric cells
-
Nope, no shards.
