Mate I don't see the point in this thread.
I've been trying to nerf Hag for years and if they won't listen to me then I don't think this thread will change that.
-
I'm honoured to be on this list 🥰🥰
I can't remember what my old icon was though which is annoying me

Wasn't it obvious I wasn't a Survivor main tho? I've made plenty of comments that are illegal in the name of the Survivor Rulebook
It isn't obvious lol if you don't pay attention to every comment on these forums then you'll probably miss a few things.
-
I actually forgot to put on some of mine lol
Though I bet 1 person will use this post to find out who are survivor mains 😂 they'll use it in an argument vs someone at a different date.
I think @ThatOneDemoPlayer you've done the smart thing and said you weren't a survivor main first lol
-
Hackers are just extremely annoying. I hate how they can get away with so much with very little worries.
Personally would like to see some sort of check system added to the game.
- The maximum height a player can reach on a certain map. Maybe separate area like main building to anywhere else. Do similar things to basement and underneath school.
- Maximum speed possible at any given time.
- Maximum possible speed a generator can be completed at any given time. Track survivor positions and use this to determine if the gen is being done solo or not.
I assume you can't track which person is hacking in a match if they are also messing with other players. If any of the conditions above are broken then that person gets a background warning. After collecting a few of these, you'll get banned. If a hacker has broken one of the checks above then dc penalty is turned off for that game.
Probably everything I mentioned has been said before and proven to be impossible/not work but I thought I'd say it anyway. If big companies like Activation can't fix a hacker problem, then surely a company like behaviour will struggle.
-
I'd say the worst 3 are by far the
- Cheating/hacking
- Letting someone bleed out instead of hooking them. Usually though they hook them at the very end of the bleed out timer.
- Body blocking. I only put this lower because I think you die quicker from this than the bleed out timer.
Farming to kill your whole team would also be here but I think the ones above are a lot worse.
T-bagging and flashlight clicking is horrible but sometimes their cockiness can actually lead to them getting killed. There's also the fact that it can be a strategy to get the killer to tunnel you if you know your team is bad in chase or to get the killers attention away from another survivor their tunnelling/camping.
-
This map is broken. It's almost like the community doesn't want big maps in the game.
-
No map sizes need nerfed, which in turn reduces the amount of pallets on the map.
-
No. The only thing boons did was prove that survivors won't just sit on gens if you give them something else to do that benefits them. Adding a secondary objective, that isn't mandatory, can slow the game down if the survivors get something good in return.
Just saying if the game allowed you to craft items in each trial then a lot of survivors would waste time doing it. Even if they couldn't keep the item after the game ends.
-
I like how survivors and killers meme with them.
Had 2 games yesterday where the killer just had fun with us and the snowmen. One game the Ghostface saw me mess around and decided to join in. He even dropped down inside of my snowman which gave it the floating bits of his outfit.
The next time the killer had a few drinks with us before we played some blackjack with him. If anyone beat his hand we lived, which we did.
So I hope they fix snowmen to not tank damage hits, but also let them stay in the game.
-
Enter it in dbd store. If your entering it in the ps or xbox store then that's wrong.
-
HAG!@#$%^&*()-'":;,?
I think a lot of the recent killers have been annoying to face because they usually have some sort of strong anti-loop. They aren't strong though because they don't have mobility.
The next most annoying right now is Pinhead. Just purely because of the horrible key bindings when it comes to removing the chains.
-
There is a few reasons why survivors wait at the gate that aren't to do with clicking and t-bagging.
- Getting We're Gonna Live Forever stacks
- Getting extra points in general
- Challenge. I had to get chased by the killer as one yesterday. So I stayed at the exit and kept running while they attacked survivors. Got about 15 seconds extra progress towards it.
They are the main ones. Even if survivors are being toxic it only takes around 15 seconds to push all 4 out which is a lot better than waiting for them to leave.

I noticed I forgot to put a line between the line and the end of the archive but I don't think I need to lol

If someone says something like "Myers is OP" it's usually a newer player who haven't played the game enough. So asking their hours is a good way of seeing if they're new or not.
Usually people will ask if you say something they deem completely wrong.

Had to use 4G hotspot to access the game though lol

Haven't in a while but using green keys and hatch offerings so the killer will camp me. Also using perks so he has to camp me for longer (Deliverance + DS).
Would've went down deliberately right in front of the hatch (pretended I made a mistake) and they 9/10 times face camped me lol

Being stealthy is good but with powers and information perks, this isn't something that will work all game. You will eventually get chase and need to loop.
Being able to waste the killers time is a sign of skill since it gives your teammates time to heal, unhook or do gens.
From the killers pov if you can't loop, your a good survivor to tunnel and proxy camp. Since your no able to loop the killer gets a free kill with only 1/2 gens completed, making the game a lot easier for the killer.

Lotta killers don't care about noed. I don't care about noed and I don't care about hexes. They're too unreliable. I'd break totems all day if I could, they do nothing for me.
I don't care about it either but a lot of killers do. If totems were broke when a boon totem was kicked, some people would complain it's a noed nerf.

What can killers do?
I can think of mirror Myers, but that's kinda meme...
I don't think it would be good, it would be kinda Head-on SWF level, or sabo SWF. It's just so annoying to deal with.
but this one would actually be valid, where you can easily win that game. Headon / sabo SWF: you are just testing if that killer will leave or not...
Mirror Myers is one. It's a meme but an extremely annoying one to face as survivor, especially in solo q.
A few more are:
- Oni - Bloody Glove indoor maps
- Wraith - Silent Bell + indoor maps
- Old Pig - Jigsaw Sketch + Tampered Timer + Big multi-storey map
- Doctor - Giant heartbeat + The Game + skill check build (only irritates lower level players)
There's plenty more I can't think of. I think bringing map offerings is the problem rather than the builds. I also think all those survivor meme builds you can win with if you don't commit to the build fully. Thing is in those games your not trying to win, your just trying to annoy the killer.

No...almost all exaustition perks timer its 60/50/40 seconds, with yoru idea the high levels would take 20 seconds to recover...seriously, NO. This idea was brought by someone else and its just ridiculously busted, you could easily get 2 or even 3 deadhards midchase with that totem. The other one i give you that might be meme, but still doesnt take away the fact its another crutch perk that survivors dont need.
It would actually afect them a lot, consider many people use boons mindlessly, any killer finding a survivor a few moments after they blessed the totem would put them on a lenghty cooldown wich would prevent them to just run away and put another one imediatly, on the other hand toug, i agree that toten/limited uses would be much better, if they survivor isnt smart it will blow away all its charges wich honestly would be a good thing, i might lean more towards limited uses than cooldown, but i tink whe can agree boons need a serious nerf
You didn't read the perk description properly lol if someone recovers exhaustion at half the normal recovery speed then it takes twice as long. This means it'll take 80 seconds at tier 3 instead of 40.
A cooldown I think just isn't good. A long cooldown is 2 minutes. So even though that's a long cooldown it still will allow you to bless totems probably 3/4 times a game. Even if you made it 5 minutes, that's still 2 boon totems a game, same as my tokens.

Combine it with SWF, midwitch offering (range everywhere) and Vigil (lower CD)
I would see build something like, Vigil, fixated, Sprint Burst, Exhaust All Options
Then someone just uses map item, so everyone can find own totem fast and enjoy endless hold W suffering.
I think you can say this about every build run by swfs. Plus those games are too and far between.
- Bring a map offering
- Bring a build that is extremely good on that map
- Play the build and annoy the killer
I think this more a problem with map offerings than the build. Killers can do a similar thing on certain maps.
Personally I think the perk is fine outside of those scenarios.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/298525/boon-totem-ideas
1.- Whe dont need to have boons blessed faster than they are, 14 sconds its already a laguable amount, absolutly NO
2.- Just as bad, totems already have a crazy range, specially on small maps with more than one floor, this would easy make boons cover ALL the small and medium maps and virtually all the big maps, absolutly NO
3.-i dont know what you meen to afect the said perks...you meen boons that have the same efect? if thats the idea hell no..
4.- survivors dont need more second chance perks than they already are, this would turn in to another crutch perk, as situational as it would be its just unecesary
5.- absolutly NO, seriously this would be broken beyond belief, specially if it allows survivors to recover from exaustition while moving, people would just need to loop the killer at most 30 seconds or less (depending on the perk) and that would make chassing absolutly nightmarish and miserable for almost all killers save the highest ranked ones, again NO, absurdly broken
6.-Quite honestly the only thing i can get behind your post, boons DO need a big nerf, being limited on uses per trial or have a cooldown after blessing a totem, still that would make most of your previously mentioned boons still overly strong and broken.
CoH needs to have the healing bonus caped at +50% and healing shouldnt not go beyond +100% in any shape or form, i would go as far as to say that CoH should not allow self healing but give a bonus to be healed by others, making it a team based perk instead of a wolverine level of self healing
It would decrease it blessing time by 2.66 seconds in exchange for one less perk slot. So you will only have 2 slots to use the normal meta perks, rather than 3.
Basically the thing as I said above. Open handed is normally 16m but I thought that was too much.
Yes this means blessing faster. Just doesn't make sense that they don't work together. Same way they fixed DS to now deactivate while blessing. There's a word I can't think of that explains this better.
Both ideas I think are fine. Last chance will be extremely rare when it will work. I think it would only be run in meme builds since it's not good enough to be meta. All Options would take 80 seconds at best to recover exhaustion which means you won't be getting Dead Hard twice in 1 chase and extremely unlikely you'd get Sprint Burst twice. It sounds as bad as Exponential but in theory it isn't.
Personally think a cooldown isn't a great idea since I think it really won't effect the perk. I think a limited use or not blessing the same totem twice is better.
-

I've seen some bad ideas on these forums, but these are something else. I'm sure a dev will read this and think it sounds fun though

@th3 said:
I like the idea of perks affecting blessing speed such as counterforce and the others.
Maybe reduce the range on boon totems to 16m to encourage open handed usage
That's a fair enough idea but I don't imagine lowering the range to be enough of a nerf to make killers happy.
@Barbarossa2020 said:
Easist way to "fix" boons, is when a boon is stomped it removes the totem.
This in turn gives it a limited use. it makes placement of boons meaniful, and makes it so a killer is actually achieving something.
I don't think killers would be happy because it then counters NOED. I don't mind the idea of only being able to bless a particular totem once.
-
It's meant to say Boon: Exhaust All Options. I personally don't see how it could be broken as a boon.
@YOURFRIEND said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2680724#Comment_2680724
Yeah. Break chase to stomp the totem or the survivor gets infinite dead hard. God help you if there's a few of them up on your map.
If you use Sprint Burst or Dead Hard you'd need to loop around a Boon totem for 80 seconds for that perk to recover. So infinite dead hard is extremely extremely unlikely since you use it late into the chase. Plus you must stay near the totem.
-
It's annoying yes but they can change anything. You need to duck Deathslinger or Huntress shots by crouching sometimes, and these can be at exit gates.
It only takes no more than 15 seconds to push them all out the gate so just do that. Is it annoying? Absolutely. Is there anything you can really do about it? No.
Same thing as a killer hitting you on the hook. You can't do anything about it unfortunately. The times where you get 1 hooked at the end as the last survivor left gives the killer plenty of time to hit you, nod and stand behind the hook when you die so you are forced to stare at them nodding.
-
Bloodborne
-
Damn you self care! Even killers are starting to hate you!
-
I would really like to run it with plaything. Haven't got Pinhead though so I can't..
-
If your getting 4 flashlight users, your lucky.
- Not a med-kit or toolbox.
- Easy to bait survivors.
- Usually don't sit on the gens the whole game.
- Sometimes just want to mess around. Won't even try to win.
- Countered by plenty of perks.
Honestly the only thing bad about them is the survivor holding them t-bagging and clicking.
-
I think some people might say they aren't swf if the killer tries to blame their loss on vs'ing a swf.
I've played in a 2 man swf where the killer gave up after 1 gen was done and both his totems were gone. Whoever he was chasing also didn't get hit either. My pc friend after the game said he was complaining if your "playing against a 4 man swf you may as well just sit in a corner since it's impossible to win". We were a 2 man but he was adamant we were a 4 man.
My point is that in scenarios like this 4 mans might just say they aren't in a team, just so the killer won't just blame their loss on "swf op".

That I could see working. But Boons could probably be buffed back to 28 meters or even 32 meters to help compensate
They could but I don't think it's necessary tbh.
-
I think it should have tokens. You lose a token each time you light a totem. Only give each survivor 2 tokens.

Why not both?
The two are tied together, maps are too much for how fast gens are and vice versa.
One or the other needs to be changed to match.
If gen speeds are the problem then we should increase the time it takes to complete them. Which is a terrible idea.
The weakest part of the game is solo q. Increasing gen speeds just hurts them even more, without balancing the top level of play. If gen speeds are changed then gen perks will also need looked at.
Decreasing the map size or giving them better mobility to traverse the map will help a lot, without killing solo q.

NOED is by far the most overrated perk in the whole game imo. The fact people think it’s OP is so mind boggling. Actually I know why, survivors constantly feed the killer altruism at the end game which is their fault. The perk relies so much on survivors being greedy and if survivors play smart, it could get you 1 kill at best.
Still though it's one kill. I think any perk that virtually guarantees one kill should be S tier. At best it can end in a 4k.
-
Generator speed isn't the problem. Maps size + lack of mobility is the problem.
-
If these are in order I'd be surprised so I'm going to assume not.
I really don't know how NOED isn't a S tier perk. It can single handily get you free kills at the end of the game. I don't like the perk but I don't think you can put it anywhere near B tier. Also personally don't agree with Discordance being S tier.
I also feel like Spine Chill needs to be S tier. The fact it basically destroys stealth, counters plenty of perks and gives increased vaulting speed means it has to be S tier.
-
You can't

I don't have a single one of those old map offerings and I was dumb enough to lose my last Splinter :(
Unlucky lad lol I think I have some splinter on my Myers. I gave him max perks without prestiging so I'm pretty sure he still has them.
My Meg I'm pretty sure is either on page 7 or about to be of the offerings screen lol
-
I have quite a lot of these on my Meg. Every few months if I'm trying to impress someone I'll just use one lol
-
You shouldn't be matched with good players this quick after playing the new killer. Sorry for the tough games.
Your games were bad but that doesn't mean she isn't viable vs a swf. Your still learning her so that makes a massive difference.
Put it this way. I can't say Nurse isn't viable vs swf even on my tenth game playing as her. You need to master them before you can say those things.
-
Unfortunately that's this game.
Before Circle Of Healing survivors haven't gotten a real meta perk, without being nerfed since Dead Hard. Survivor meta will forever stay roughly the same tbh.
Killers meta right now is actually quite exciting since they have a lot of perks that are meta. Most meta killer perks don't get touched which make the meta more diverse.
-
Well I can't log on right now so I don't think I'll get any rewards unfortunately..
-
I remember when I first saw it I was shocked people were worried about it. To me it didn't seem that great.
-
I'm not going to enjoy this perk. If it's still 30% I think this just is another perk that hurts solo q, the weakest part of this game. I'm happy it's not dead anymore but I'm really not sure this perk was a good idea in the first place.
-
@VikingDragonXii said:
There's a easy fix to all this......
1. Make Maps smaller. By making the maps smaller the killer will not be wasting as much "travel time" getting to the other side of the map where the survivors spawn.
2. Out of Chase speed boost. When not in a chase all killers have a increased speed allowing them to move across the maps quicker allowing them to keep map pressure up. It doesn't have to be anything major. Once you get into a chase you move back down to the killers normal movement speed. Once chase is lost it will take 10 secs for OOC speed to come back.
Or
3. Increase the distance required to start a chase.
The problem with 2 is that killers will just do the Legion + Old Nemesis perk tactic. They will look down for as much as they can to avoid getting into chase.
To the OP I personally think it's pointless having bloodlust 2 and 3 now. I think if your getting value out of currently then your not playing killer correctly.

Yeah, at this point I think it would be easier to just choose basekit, so it doesn't get out of hand...
I would like Whispers and just buff overall basic regression.
Personally I think they should just either make maps smaller or add a form of mobility.
