I really like the ability. I assume his terror radius would be 32m. Maybe need to clarify what curses they will be. I don't know how strong he is, hard to know.
Eye For Death I was about to say op it was until I saw the ability to recover from dying state. I would say the range is still a bit big in my opinion but cool idea. Maybe max 48 metres just because it would be too strong with Insta down killers.
Hex: Hunter's Plaything needs a bit of clarity because I believe if you hit a survivor it ends the chase. Would be very strong on Legion though I think. I also think the obsession should be chosen after the first token is gained, so they know the totem is active.
Damnation wouldn't be fair. Coupled with Remember Me it would be horrible, potentially 60 seconds. What actions would this affect? If healing then it'd be horrible with clowns healing perk. Personally would like it changed.Savior's Dream is really strong if repairs are included. If all 4 survivors run this perk it'd be too strong. Even if 2 survivors run this perk its too strong.Save or Be Saved is too strong. No need for borrowed time I believe. I would hate having this used against me.Salvation again all depends on if it affects repairs. I also feel it has to many similar things to your other perk. Having 2 perks that affect healing and other actions is a bit much.I am a survivor main by the way so I hope you understand that even as a survivor I could see how strong some perks are. I hope my feedback was helpful. Good work on the idea. -
I don't think they would have the time to work on something like this. They wouldn't be able to create enough stuff for it. I think we already get shards as our reward for playing the game enough, being able to buy chapters and skins without using our own money. If we are paying £7.99 for a new chapter every 3 months and more money for a deadpass, people would be upset.
I'd like the idea of a better reward system in dbd where you could maybe unlock perks, cosmetics and gestures but I don't think with how it is set up that it would work. A lot of things would need changed for this to work and I'd rather see them focus more time on other important things in the game. -
Have the option to turn on cross platform. PlayStation need to listen to their fan base and allow cross platform on all games.
Unfortunately cross platform is out of the devs hands but if the time ever comes and they can do cross platform then I'd like it to be optional. -
The other issue is that the devs won't add a killer that isn't human or at least act human. I think the 4 hits and mori would be broken. It would encourage tunnelling and if you were found at the beginning then you may as well just give up. Also 4 hits, how would that be shown on the UI? How long would healing take? How would phanatraphobia work?Darmuka said:@CashelP14 said:
As cool as this sounds I think the ability has a flaw. Having to take one extra hit to down someone doesn't sound great. What happens after 2 hits, deep wound? If so it would be too similar to Legion with the pallet vaulting.Perk 1 would only work well with Dying Light. I don't see why you would use this otherwise.
Perk 2 sounds like it could be good but they wouldn't add it. There is too many issues with how this would affect certain killers.
Perk 3 needs clarified on how long the exposed status lasts for? Also the killer would need to get a notification to say if survivors have been exposed.
Ty for the comment-
The passive part of the ability, were because I thought that the killer would become too powerful, since it involved both a speed boost and aura reading, on such a great range, and it would be very difficult to escape it.
I didn't think that there should be more to it than, the killer just had to attack 1 more time, than usual.Originaly I thought that the killer should hit survivors 4 times, to down them, and then kill them on the spot instead of hooking them, because it is feral beast and doesn't uderstand hooks. But I thought it would be too powerful.
I would like to hear your thoughts on that.Perhaps the passive should be scrapped all together. But I'm not sure if that would make things worse or better.
I must admit, that I'm not too clever when it comes to perks.
All I can say is that, the exposed effect on the 3rd one, is just to discourage body blockers, and should only be active when 3 survivors are close to each others, and near the killer at the same time.
I think most perk ideas have already been created. It's very hard to think of new perks because people dont like the idea of copying their ideas if you take one of theirs.
Look at what perks will help your killer with their ability. Is your killer better at early game kills or late game and then think of perks which help that idea.
I have a killer idea posted called The Scientist. Take a look at how my perks help my killer with his ability because he is a long game killer. If you give me a comment on that discussion about how you feel my idea is that would really help me as well. If you give me feedback on my chapter, on my discussion I can help with your perks if you want. -

I'm not sure how strong the ability is. How far would it go and how quick would you throw it? I'm asking because I'm trying to compare it to huntress with her hatchets.
Unseen Potential sounds cool but I can't be sure till you say how long the exposed effect will last for. Also you need to say what happens at tiers 1,2 and 3. Maybe it lasts 10/20/30 seconds.
Arsonist isn't strong by itself but could be very strong with Enduring and Spirit Fury. Pretty cool idea
Adrenaline Rush I don't personally like and I feel it's too similar to the Arsonist perk. Also putting them together for an 7% increase would be too strong in my opinion. Might need to rework this one.
Blending In is very interesting. You need to confirm how close a survivor needs to be for it to work. Think about would you want them to be the same range as Bond or less? Otherwise I think the idea would be alright.
Emergency care seems too similar to autodidact. By the time the 3 health states have been completed you would also have done a few skills checks wirh autodidact. The only difference is Emergency care doesn't start off slow and also will lose tokens after a skill check.
Peace and Quiet doesn't sound strong personally. You haven't said how long the time lasts for and that makes a big difference. Does it cause exhaustion?
Hope I was a help, tried to give the best feedback I could. When it comes to the perks you need to think "would I use this in my perk build". Also please add to all token perks when you lose the tokens, like the way you lose Save The Best For Last. Really cool idea with the teleporting weapon and I could see some good mind game moments but you might want to change the thing you throw for teleporting. It doesn't make much sense how you can teleport to a combat knife. -
They said it was for all platforms!! Great work dbd, hopefully the trailer for the new killer and just general trailer showing all the killers gets the game a bunch of new players. Cant wait!!
-
Personally I don't understand the power. You said when he uses his scythe to hook someone it consumes all the tokens. Then later said it gives max tokens?
Necrophobia seems like a buffed phanatraphobia. If coupled together then it's too op. Personally think this perk needs reworked.
Traitor seems ok but all the other survivors shouldn't be given broken or hemorrhage when they are full health. Broken could be given after the obsession is sacrificed but not before.
Frenzy of Rage is ok I could see some people using it in weird perk builds.
All trumps on hand is good but it can't be in the game because I think it makes the teachable perk of tapps a bit worthless. I prefer it to tapps perk but they won't add it.
Never along is don't like personally. I'd basically get it to 8 Tokens and deliberately not pallet drop a killer to save the tokens. At 7 tokens is it just faster movement speed or repair speed?
Hand at the heart wouldn't be fair to the killer. If someone is good at looping the killer people will just keep taking their hits to keep them going. The killer should be shown the aura of the injured survivor for 3 seconds to make it fair. Personally I think there is a better version of this idea where survivors dash in front of an injured survivor to protect them. -
Yea the mori was a no brainer in my opinion. It is just so perfect for his character. The thing Gehrman is he is desperate to escape the moon presence and doesn't know what the entity can do. Some killers are tortured into doing the entity biding so he could be the same, but I think it's better if he's tricked into it.
Thanks for your feedback, what do you think about the perks? And what rank do you play at because this would help me understand how these perks work at different ranks. -
Well I'll consider making it an obsession perk thanks. Also I'd love Locked Down to be added eventually, would make hex totems worth running. So many cool perk builds could be made using it.
-
This is a totem version of surveillance and I don't think I've seen anyone use that perk since January. You have to look at your perks and be honest, would you run them? Would you use this over thrill of the hunt when it offers the slower cleansing speed as well as notifications when hex totems are touched.
-
Thanks for your feedback, i got all the trophies in bloodborne and I know it is unlikely to happen since it's a ps4 exclusive game but I love the game.
I understand your concerns with Insight, it for me is a perk to bridge the gap between what swf and solo players know. When I play swf we basically can find out what perks a Killer is using, such as B&C or Nurses Calling. That's why I don't see it being so strong when in a swf lobby but I understand where your coming from. I was going to make it an obsession perk where if you weren't the obsession you could only see survivors within 12/24/36 metres of you so that could be an option. -
I really like the idea of Lock Picker, I think it is a bit strong but still pretty interesting. I think it should be 5/4/3 tremendously difficult skill checks to be fair to the killer. I don't think it should affect the reverse bear trap but like someone else said it should maybe decrease the search time of jigsaw boxes maybe.
Salvage is pretty strong in my opinion. As a survivor main I think it would make life a lot easier for me. If someone has a reverse bear trap on their head a land I choose not to finish my gen, it wouldn't matter if the killer kicks it I could still get 50% back. In SWF lobbies it would be abused a lot I think.
Under Pressure I think should decrease the frequency of bleeding personally. It is a better no mither but people who run no mither are trying to challenge themselves. I could see this perk being added.
Padlock is just funny lol I think it would annoying for some but it gives the killer a choice. Sit outside the locker or just leave them. I think only being able to use it once is a good idea but maybe you should choose when to use it, rather than the killer choosing by attempting to open the locker.
Personally don't like Bail Out. I see it making hatch escapes too easy and encouraging people to camp the hatch rather than save another survivor.
Mirror Image should show your aura as well. This would make the perk fairer and would give the killer a choice.
You put a lot of effort into this and I think you've done a really good job. Love the perk designs btw, wish I had your talent lol -
The power seems very interesting. I think having a killer who gains tokens and can choose what to do with them is a really good idea.
Unforgiving is ok but I don't think it is great. It would also encourage camping a bit I think.
False sense I'm not sure how it works. Can your terror radius not be heard outside of 16m of the generator? If so then when you run this with Monitor and Abuse it would be way to strong.
Judgement I don't think is that strong at all. I don't understand why people would use it. Bitter Murmur shows auras for 10 seconds when the gates are powered and the exhausted status is only 30 seconds with this perk. If someone is doing an end game build I'd still pick NOED, Blood Warden, Remember Me and Bitter Murmur ahead of this. If exhausted was changed to hindered and the time increased that would be more useful.
Sorry if this seems negative, I tried to give you the best feedback I could. -
Pressured to me seems a bit strong. It completely ruins a doctor with Distressing build and also makes stake out pointless.
Lookout is way to strong. You would never lose in a pallet loop scenario if you can see the killers aura for 18 seconds, even the cooldown doesn't help this. The aura time would need to be massively decreased.
Escape Artist seems like a rework of Wake Up. I don't see the point of Wake Up when this perk is in the game. The hatch range would need decreased though to maybe 12/24/36 to be fair to the killer or have it be an obsession perk where once you see it, you both see it since the killer has no perk at the minute to find the hatch. This perk could work with some slight changes.
Avenge I don't see much need to run. No one really uses dying light anyway. It would maybe work for Remember Me but not for other obsession perks like Save The Best For Last, Play With Your Food or Rancor.
I'm giving this from the perspective of someone who is a survivor main at rank 1. Hope this feedback helped, tried to see it from a Killer's perspective as well -
Since he can travel between lockers maybe he could hide in them as well? If so then when a survivor opens a locker the killer is in he grabs them and pulls them into the locker with him. They are then both teleported to one of the basement lockers where the killer now has the survivor on their shoulder.
Love the idea of using lockers btw. Would make lockers have more of a purpose and the jumpscares would be brilliant. Problem is how many lockers are their per map? Some have more than others -
I think the perks let you down. Martial art just makes brutal strength useless and coupled with enduring and spirit fury is too op.
Deduction is basically Predator so there is no point in adding it.
Justice would be too op, it would need to be lowered to 1% up to 3 stacks and have it that when a survivor is downed you lose your stack.
Sorry but Justice with the suggested change is the only perk that could work. -
Maybe once the killer gets in a chase with you they can see the auras of survivors performing actions inside of a 32m range.
I like the idea of a cowardly survivor and I think you've done well making this survivor not easy for survivors to farm with killers. -
Dreamnomad gave a very detailed feedback on the killer perks and I agree with most of it. I think Broken Bonds could have the cooldown removed and it would be better.
I'll give my feedback on the survivor perks.
I don't understand how Scream would work. Can you give a reason to use it in game? And what would happen if your not the obsession.
Dissuade works well with the other perk you added called waver. I think this perk would do well if your at the shack looping the killer.
Waver I like the sound of, I think if this is would be good for someone who is good at looping the killer for a long time during the game. The only issue I have with it is that a killer tunnels injured survivors normally so you'd rarely have a full stack.
I personally think that there perks have their place in the game but if I were to use them I would use waver and dissuade together, not separate. Also brilliant work on the art designs for the chapter, they are well thought out.
I have a few survivor perks ideas of my own so could you go over to there and take a look at them and give me feedback as well. -
Fast n'Faster seems quite interesting and could be added. I think Durable is too dependant on someone using mangled so I wouldn't run it. I think Cursed Dance sounds good but I'm not sure how it would work in game, seems a bit op. I don't think they would add a perk like Hemophobia since they have a lot of healing perks. Quickest I'm not sure about, isn't it like Vigil?
I have my own survivor and killer perk list so if you could take a look and give me feedback I'd appreciate it -
You could have it so when you "break" an item it becomes faulty. When this item is used after 15/10/5 seconds of using the item you hurt yourself which injures you and breaks the item completely. Same idea applies to the chest.
-
Yea it would work similar to obsession but instead of having a link between a survivor and killer, there is a link between 2 survivors. I couldn't think of a better name than friend so any suggestion would be good. I think it adds something different to the game and would be nice to see something new. Thanks for the feedback.
-
Like the idea but I don't know if it would work when multiple people might run this perk and how it would affect noed. What do you think about my potential perk ideas?
