Yes thank you. This has happened a lot lately to me and it's extremely annoying. Vaulting was good after the momentum change around Christmas but it seems to be broken now. I could literally upload 3/4 photos on this

Just to let you know, moris and op add-ons are still a thing because insta-heals and genrush are still a thing...
Instaheals give people 1 maybe 2 extra hits. Moris can happen after only 2 or 3 hits if you dont have an instadown ability. Add-ons can mori without even being hooked, down in one hit and be in general OP like prayer beads and Frank's mix tape.
Gen rush usually involves survivors not healing, so down in one hit if you can find them. Noed is a great counter, even discordance is good against this. People complained about self care then it got nerfed, then the gen rush meta became a thing as a result of this.
Ruin is needed but if you play good enough you should get 1 or 2 kills before endgame and noed kicks in. I went from rank 10 to 2 playing only as plague and exit doors were only activated on maybe 3/4 occasions but by that point I already killed 2 people.

Seeing the leatherface with low points I'd say it was a kinda campy tunnely match. Prolly why
Just have to look at the bronze chaser category to realise the problem. Any killer who complains about the pip system isn't playing killer right.

game is survivor favoured and also the devs are survivor bias, always have been, sadly, always will be.
What? When over the last year there have been more changes to improve killer than survivor. When the hit box for killer is ridiculous. When killers can bring moris and OP add-ons and destroy a team.
I am rank 2 killer and rank 3 survivor and I cant agree that the devs are survivor bias.
Even MoM which i was running every game i swapped out because I only got using it 1 in every 10 games.

Yup. That's pretty much what I'm writing here in the threads for quite some time. :) Glad to see that more people agree. ☺️
Cheers mate. I never really thought about until I had those 3 games. In one game I did i think 2 gens, 2 saves, 2 flashlight saves, looped the killer and escaped so i dont understand how i black piped.
I also have had problems recently where one sad soul in particular just tunnels me with instasaw everygame I get with them. So I either die or depip which isn't right.
I dont want this applied to killer because killer is in a perfect place at the minute.
-
A bloodborne chapter but that will never happen. Needs to be a fix to the hit boxes, whether that will happen with dedicated servers or not.
-
Only if everything is random, including killer and survivor. All perks are unlocked for all characters.
I don't care what it is just as long as something new is added. After a year and a half the game begins to become "dull".
-
can we get a nerf to moris, iri heads, infinite evil within 3, spirit's purple addons, instasaw, omegablink, extra blink addons, and just delete legion entirely.
You make a very good point. How many games get destroyed because killer brings an ebony mori and just goes for the person off the hook. Infinite evil within 3 is op and same with spirits add-ons. Luckily on console we dont get omegablink that often. MoM isn't good when legion brings Frank's mixtape and just kills any survivor he chooses to tunnel.
The only thing I will say is I am not bothered by iridescent head from huntress. It lowers her hatchets a lot and you need the other add-on to make it work. I personally never get bothered by this compared to the other ones.
Ebony moris should be after hooking a survivor twice. Myers honestly shouldn't have an infinite tier 3 (this is coming from a Myers main for a long time). Legion with franks mix tape should just be removed. Prayer beads should have the phrasing sound lowered to 8m or make footsteps louder maybe.
Either way you made a very good point and even though as a survivor main I have fun with MoM I can agree its op. It should give borrowed time status I feel but everyone has their own opinion.

Rule #1 in DBD: If it exists, SWFs will abuse it one way or another.
To be fair this applies to killer as well. How many people played wraith when there was the sloppy butcher bug. I remember lagging out of like 1 in every 3 games because of bad it was.
Or pig also dropping people at the exit door to kill them with traps. Disconnecting so survivors get no points also. Lag switching as well.
But when it comes to this perk it is op. I'm shocked it didn't give the borrowed time status instead of just ignoring the hit.
-
Killers just have to wait 60 seconds after an unhook to avoid ds. No tunnel, no problem.
Go for the unhooker, not the unhookee. Played a lot of killer games since the plagues release and I haven't had a problem with ds at all.
-
Just don't tunnel the survivor off the hook, that should be easy for some. You won't ever have to worry about it.

@CashelP14 That’s the point.... We don’t need all these new chapters. Fixing bugs should be priority over everything.
Honestly I'd love to believe that they will be holding off just to fix bugs but that's not happening. The game has been out a few years now and it still has so many problems.

@CashelP14 The roadmap is over. There won’t any more new killers for awhile. However, The devs releasing Ash caught me by surprise. They could’ve waited to release him later on though and just fixed bugs first.
What will they do then if they aren't working on a new chapter? Fix bugs lol
-
Oh yea I forgot about dedicated servers. They said every 3 months and always release on a Tuesday. I thought the last chapter would be out on the 12th of march but was off by a week.
They usually tease the killer 3 weeks before as well on a Thursday.
-
That they actually read the forums.

I've played probably more than 50 games as her and I can agree she needs a very slight buff, but nothing major.
Problems:
1. Over reliant on add-ons. I use green charge speed increase and effectiveness add-ons and they are needed for her.
2. Not enough brutality points. If you break survivors and down them you'll not get above 3000 points unless you farm the survivors.
3. Survivors don't use fountains. Personally I don't mind this because it's an easy one hit down but gens can go extremely fast.
4. Too slow while holding purge. I understand this when using corrupt purge but with vile purge it should be different.
5. If survivors aren't broken the sickness doesn't spread instantly. I might be wrong but I think if you save a sick survivor from the hook or interact with them you may not get sick if they aren't broken.
Solutions:
She should get double brutality points per hit. When holding corrupt purge she should be 110% speed but 115% with vile purge. Survivors should instantly become sick when interacting with another sick survivor, broken or not. Maybe have gen speed decreased by 5% while fully broken.
-
How often has anyone been affected by all their totems being destroyed before the end of the game. I honestly don't remember the last time I've run noed and all the totems have been destroyed.
They nerfed healing which is why survivors hardly use self care anymore. And with sloppy butcher it makes this even worse. They may not heal each other but if your good in chases you should end your chases extremely quick.
If you play well enough and even if your gen rushed you should at least kill 2 people with noed.
If you want to slow down gens run ruin, corrupt intervention, thanatraphobia or discordance and noed (just in case).
How much more do survivors need to be nerfed before killers are happy?

It seems weak to me.
Granted, that weakness only stems from almost no one using Sabo effectively.
Lullaby just shouldn't be a Hex Perk.
Maybe raise the amount of Tokens needed to make the noise disappear, but it doesn't need to be a Hex.
Yea it isn't strong because of the fact no one sabo really. But if you saw a full team of toolboxes then at least this perk may be more useful than what it was.
I don't know how it'd work if it wasn't a hex perk. It works well once a token has been earned but the problem I have with it is that it can be destroyed before even being used.
Maybe have it that once the hex is destroyed then you can't gain anymore tokens but you don't lose the tokens you've earned.
-
So is hangmans trick ok? I think so far it's the only perk alongside huntress lullaby that no one has said about changing.

Thing is, many ppl are leaving the game because this game is going WAY to tryhard right now. Solo and imperfect survivors get absolutely #########, literally 90% of the killer roster is worthless against anybody worth his salt in looping.
We don't need more perks that break r1 even more while doing jackshit for lowranks.
Yea the game is way to try hard. That's why nerfing meta perks does nothing but create new meta perks. This list was to hopefully make people think of trying something new.

Third Seal would be OP against solo players who wouldn't be able to get rid of it and they already have a hard enough time. SWF would completely destroy you despite it.
I would have no problem making Hex totems only light once their purpose requirement was met.
Yea I wasnt sure how to buff Third Seal. How can a blindness perk effect a SWF team? Can't really buff the perk without increasing the gap between SWF and solo players. I just wanted to make it last longer than it currently does.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
This Is Not Happening should just get a buff to the size of the skill check to make it more of a counter to Ruin. I think increasing the gain from greats wouldn't really make it that useful.
Beast Of Prey should give 100% BP in Hunting at all tiers.
I was thinking of buffing it more but killer mains would go mad. Ruin doesn't last long as it is so people wouldn't be happy.
-
Yea it's very bad but it is good for new players who aren't great at the game. I find it hard to buff because it could quite easily become really strong

Great suggestions!
I feel like Monstrous Shrine and Territorial Imperative should be combined.
The *new* Territorial Imperative would be "Any time a Survivor begins to cleanse a totem, their aura is revealed for 3/4/5 seconds."
It'd have great synergy for Huntress Lullaby since it's a Huntress perk. But clearly it would be great for any Hex.
Yea Territorial imperative needs changed but your suggestion is a weaker thrill of the hunt.
I'd personally remove monstrous shrine and combine it with territorial imperative. The new territorial would be the two perks combined.

Where's Boil Over? lol
I see some people use it which is why I didn't add it here. It isn't great to be fair at high ranks but it may be good with the new flip flop perk if the killer slugs a bit first.

@DexyIV said:
I really like the idea of buffing sub-par perks to increase perk diversity. Some feedback I have on ones I don't really agree with:
Monstrous Shrine: The problem with this perk are the effects in general. Combining the two useless effects won't really do much for it. It needs a full rework.
TTS: The changes would just increase the gap between solo and SWF survivor. Uncounterable blindness that doesn't allow aura perks would make solo survivor dreadful, and have little effect on SWF. Blindness needs to be able to be countered in some way because of this.
Open Handed: Having it not affect your teammates is honestly a huge nerf. The perk itself has some good uses already when combined with Kindred where your teammates can see the killer when they're 24m away from you. This perk is fine the way it is, it's just super niche.
Autodidact: I think the perk is fine as is, it just needs to have another perk that increases skill check chances instead. Loading that effect onto the perk makes it a bit too easy to hit those 5 stacks I think, especially when that percentage you suggested will be slingshotting skillchecks at you every other second or so at a 75% increased rate.
I think the rest are good though, especially No One Left Behind.
I tried to change autodidact to 10/15/20% but wouldn't allow me to edit it for some reason. I'll try it again tomorrow
When it comes to monstrous shrine though I think it actually now can work properly as a basement build. Most basement builds include iron grasp, agitation, mad grit and either of the Territorial or Monstrous. It won't be strong by any means but at least it can actually be used in a build of some sort.
-
To be fair it is pretty useless at the minute, don't remember the last time I've faced a killer who got 3 tokens on it. Same with lullaby, they get destroyed before anything happens to it.
-
@yes said:
I had an idea for Monstrous Shrine.
Monstrous Shine:
Each time a survivor enters the basement at least 28m away, The Entity blocks the entrance of the basement for 30/35/40 seconds and the survivors inside will not be able to leave until the duration has ended. If a survivor unhooks another survivor within the basement, the rescuer becomes injured but cannot be put into the Dying state. Any survivor that enters the basement will have their location revealed for 3 seconds. You are able to enter and exit the basement while it is blocked.
This is to prevent anyone from exiting freely if you are across the map by the time they get the save. I feel like this would be balanced, as survivors can heal by the time you get back to the basement. By blocking the basement, the Entity blocks the sides of it as well (like in the shack, you can enter the basement 2 ways. The Entity blocks both of the ways you can get out).
Sorry but no lol being trapped in the basement for 40 seconds would make me dc. I'd stop playing this game if it was buffed that much.
Just imagine a leatherface or hillbilly with this perk and you'd realise how extremely strong it is.

@artist said:
if everyone escapes and you happened to get more than 4k altruism, it'd be nice if I still got those extra points even if i passed the cap with no one left behind, i also just assumed up the ante would still affect all players. and I guess overwhelming can do what u suggested, hiding how many charges from the user would be kind of annoying tho.
Yea I know what you mean but I look at it the same as distressing and bbq. You cant have 2 perks giving points post trial otherwise it's be way too many. So one works during the trial and the other works after.
It wont allow me to change autodidact btw
-
@brokedownpalace I want the hex totem perks too last at least till they are useful. I would lower it to 1 token being earned if it still seemed too powerful but we wouldn't know for certain unless they tested it. Fixed Open-Handed to only affect the survivor using the perk.
@artist think third seal only counters solo players anyway. Up the ante only affects the survivor using the perk so they would need to leave it late for the perk to be worth something. I wanted streetwise and overwhelming to actually be counters for each other rather than them both basically do nothing. Pharmacy fair enough lol For NOLB people don't often get full altruism points so there is where this perk comes in. Sort of pointless if you can get all the saves but how often does that happen.
@Delfador I actually meant 75% of the current number. But if your right it's way too powerful so I'll change it now.

Love alot of your suggestions..
I am 100% up for a meta shake up.. The game has needed it for quite a while.. Something needs to be done to keep the game fresh..
Sadly the devs have chosen to buff alot of the most used perks which only reinforced the meta.. All imo
Yea they have also nerfed a lot of survivor meta perks as well. I think buffing perks like these would maybe not instantly change the meta but make these perks for viable for using.
Didn't include Vigil or Insidious because they both are not worth being in the game. Wanted to add Left Behind but it cant really be changed.
-
Rotten fields but I don't hate any maps as killer because some are better for certain killers than others.
For survivor I despise shelter woods. Honestly rather have ruin and noed on the game or lerys than play on shelter woods.

100%. She's so amazingly well designed, but in-game she's easily the worst killer in the game which is sad. I love her cosmetics, I love her map, Red Forest especially. I like playing as her, but the frustration you feel from seeing puke just go through people. Hit, but not actually do damage. Having a ton of people sick, then suddenly full health as your gens pop. I really hope they at least address the grind/core soon.
I don't want to have to sweat every game. I want to give people a fun time, but I just can't if I want any kind of chance at pipping, or getting points.
She's mid tier, definitely not the worst killer in the game. Add-ons are needdd for her at higher ranks but even at that most killers need them.
I'm getting constant 4K games with everyone being 3 hooked. Ruin is needed definitely and corrupt intervention helps at the beginning but I think she's better than people are wanting to give her credit for.
-
I nearly always max out the points in the Deviousness category (being sick one) especially if you get the 4K. The real problem is in the Brutality category. I have gotten multiple 4K games as Plague with all survivors being 3 hooked and I have gotten max 3500 BP in that category.
If you want more sick points just break people before you down them and be sick on everything. Also corrupt purge gives a load of points so use it when you can.
In terms of buffing her increase the movement speed again or just increase the effectiveness of the sickness so you don't need to rely on the add-ons. I nearly always use the green charge speed and green effectiveness add-ons.
-
I've used it a lot since the change and it has become useless because even tunnelling killers just slug to run down the timer. I think being the obsession at the beginning of the game should be removed but I still think if you hit decisive you should become the obsession.
I liked the idea of decisive being changed because it was too strong and an anti tunnelling perk would be good. Decisive was meant to be changed to stop tunnelling but I don't think it currently is doing that at the minute. I haven't been able to test the stun time because I've been plugged the whole time

That one and Courage's origin episode are my two favourites.
I honestly believe my fear of spiders started from that show. They both are very good and the "naughty" guy is hilarious.
Also honourable mention to Xiolin Showdown. I feel it was unfairly forgotten and it was an amazing show.

I think it's only worth getting p3 on licensed killers. My pig is p3 and Myers will be soon I hope. Survivors aren't worth prestiging unless it's going to be your main.

I assume you're annoyed when people complain about a dlc, but it's not always like that. There are many successful dlc's -spirit, clown, hag etc.
I think what he means is everyone complains when a new killer comes out. The spirit is a good example because when she was released people were complaining she was weak and should be able to see the blood as part of her base power. I don't remember a killer coming out where everyone agrees they are good, bad, boring or indifferent.

There should be a perk to help with hatch situations. NOED is a perk which is used if you expect an endgame scenario. There should be a perk which is to prepare for a hatch scenario.
A perk idea I thought of was to block the hatch for 40/50/60 seconds after it is activated. The survivors aura will also be shown for 3 seconds once the hatch activates.
This would give killers time to catch and kill the survivor while also making the survivor earn the escape.
-
Cons of survivor dc:
3 survivors vs 1 Killer
Killer gets less points but also has an easier game
Give survivors hatch
Cons of Killer dc:
Survivors may lose BP earned in that game
Survivors sometimes lose their item
Waste of offerings
If I'm missing any let me know and I'll add them.
-
Better question is what is a better licensed chapter to get? Don't say scream because that seems to be the most obvious.
Personally I knew of Evil Dead but haven't watched any of them. Wouldn't say it's cheap though
-
If you play her right (which is too break them and down them) then you get basically no brutality points. I don't remember how many points corrupt purge gives
-
Yea I'm shocked they are adding a perk that avoids hits but it at least has a good counter where your aura is shown at a decent distance.
I'm annoyed because I wrote down that Flip-Flip perk idea on my phone and didn't create a chapter for it yet..
As I said at the time I think there will be an uproar from killers if this perk is added

Bu removing, you mean being completely scrapped or maybe applying it as base?
Other than the ones mentioned:
- Buffed: Vigil (up the values a bit, like up to 50%, at least for yourself).
- Nerfed: MAYBE Borrowed Time. Move it back to Endurance status effect instead of Deep Wounds. Not because its OP, but I liked the idea of it being a timer that forced you to heal or find someone else before going down. (I also liked the black and white VFX more).
- Removed: While Monstrous Shrine is the best option, to avoid repetition, I would remove both Play with your Food and Dying Light. PWYF is just #########, and Dying Light promotes gameplay I avoid.
A lot of people want vigil buffed, and a lot want monstrous shrine removed. It's quite cool seeing everyone's different view point on this. The perks I had in mind for this question haven't even been mentioned yet lol
-
I might be wrong about this but they normally release new chapters on a Tuesday so I have been expecting it to release today for the last month.
They are releasing a new killer every 3 months and Legion was released mid December (I think the 12th in UK) so this new killer was going to be either the 12th or 19th of March. They took that long to announce the ptb that I moved my original guess from the 12th to 19th.
Wonder how many changes they'll make to her.
