  • It's because of his design I think, non viable killers usually will have to play scummy to get the same effect as higher tier killers.
Wraith isn't that strong of a killer even after his buff and his power does suggest camping since he's only truly invisible when standing still.

If he was completely invisible when walking im sure not many people would be camping since he'd have some map pressure but that would probably make him OP.

  • It's situational so I'd say no.

  • I'd like some new Meta perks to change things up. Hoping for no Hex perks.

What I really want though is a new Killer with a Unique design and Power that's fun to use but also viable, Wishful thinking i know.

  • Leatherface runs like an old woman carrying her purse.

I'd love a weeping angel! but a creeping killer like this I dont know if they would work. The Chase and looping is the biggest part of the game.
It'd be a nice change of pace but I don't know how it could work effectively against a survivor not to mention a SWF which one person could just keep looking and keeping the killer in place while others do gens.

Maybe the killer player has 4 statues.
And he can control this statues.
The killer player could create a vision plan.

Having multiple statues and controlling them would be cool, maybe the ability to place and teleport to each statue like hag with traps but the angels statues are permanently placed until replaced, 4 total on the map?

    Deranking is intended game mechanic.

I mean technically yes, but purposely deranking to face newer and less skilled killers/survivors isn't which is another reason for the huge amount of DCs.

    I was joking.

Oh  I assumed but I can never tell sarcasm online haha

  • Probably very high.

It's crazy how relaxed the Devs are with stuff like this. Just look at Deranking...

DC against legions i not a ban problem... because i play more often againts other killers.... just DC when legions appears. Its ok and healthy°

It's not Healthy  If everyone were to DC against what they didn't like then there would never be a full game. Should Killers DC if they get an unfun SWF or If someone has DS?

  • Nope, No news as of yet.

I Assume it'll be PTB Next week and a teaser sometime in the next few days but who knows

  • Placing the totem or relighting a dull totem wouldn't be too bad, I'd like that but Spawn points also have a very long way to go.

  • Hopefully those that DC get banned.
There's this whole thing about DCing against legions, spread even further by big streamers of this game. They say it's because survivors don't find him fun to face and he has no counter....

Could you imagine if a huge portion of killers were to DC everytime they saw DS for those same reasons, There would be uproar.

  • I hate this aspect to the game but I guess killers need more than offerings and perks in their bloodwebs. I'd love to have a build and not have to worry about running out of add ons, I Just wish they added more rare add ons to killers bloodwebs when they gave survivors higher rarity items in chests.

  • It'd make the perk a lot more viable, The Change wouldn't be too drastic but would make the perk worthwhile.

  • I don't blame them for hiding, There's so many people screaming at the top of their lungs about problems in the game. But at the same time i think a bit of transparency from the Devs on whats being worked on and how would help put so many people at ease.

  • Could be many reasons why a killer slugs.

It can be using the survivor as bait, which will work well for killers like Nurse.
It helps slow the game down, with how fast gens are being completed I honestly expect to see it more.
With the new hook system wiggle DS and wiggling free are more likely, if there's no hook nearby.
Or you could simply be using DS and the killer doesn't want to deal with it.

It's an feature of the game, Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean it's trolling or exploiting.

  • I don't think perks are toxic, well apart from DS. but i will agree the toxicity has gotten worse the amount of taunting in game and the horrible things said in post game has just gone up.

  • Because when I do there's someone on top of it already, It's working more as a find the first survivor perk then effecting gens for me

Spirit is strong but she's still behind Nurse and Hillbilly.

Spirit in good hands is great but Nurse in the right hands just dominates completely. Hillbilly on the other hand doesn't take much skill and is still strong.

Hillbilly takes skill comparative to the skill of the survivors he’s against
if you think he takes no skill it’s because you have no skill

No need to be hostile, I said he doesn't take much skill as in comparatively to spirit or nurse. He's a lot easier to play.

  • It'd make them a lot more reliable, as it is unless I'm running spies which I never do, I don't really even acknowledge the crows.

  • That's the saddest part of it all, nobody has to be toxic but DBD has such a high amount of toxic players. :unamused:

  • I was tempted once but I realized It's waaaay too much of a grind for just a cosmetic.

  • Spirit is strong but she's still behind Nurse and Hillbilly.
Spirit in good hands is great but Nurse in the right hands just dominates completely. Hillbilly on the other hand doesn't take much skill and is still strong.

  • Because It's the only way to get a 4k thanks to the hatch, Blame the hatch mechanic not the killer.

Personally I don't have the time to slug for a 4k and I'll just let the survivor get the hatch since there's nothing a killer can do really when it comes to hatch. But there are people who are against the hatch with good reason and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • Showing SWF, It's something that's been asked for countless times but just wont happen. Devs don't want SWF to be shown in case a Killer dodges. (even if swf is unbalanced) Just look at The new Lobby system coming were all 4 survivors load in at the same time every time.

  • I mean it's buff solo or nerf SWF and we all know SWF will never be nerfed so I'm all for this. It changes the game completely but let's not pretend that SWF hasn't already done that.

The only problem would be how to buff all killers to a level were they can put up a fair fight against Survivors sharing information like this, It'd have to be a huge buff.

  • BBQ is not OP
It was Powerful before but never OP, Now not so much with all the counters they added to it. Just get in range, hide behind a gen, run in a direction and fake where your going or simply get in a locker. Hell there's even an aura blocking perk.

It used to discourage camping but now as someone who uses BBQ I can tell you with all the counters, there's times were nobody shows on BBQ so i have to assume the worst and think they're all going for the save so I'm forced to patrol the hook.

Now imagine if there was no BBQ at all, It'd be stupid to walk off to a gen that might or might not be being worked on and give a free safe unhook.

  • I mean even Fog Whisperers will Derank with no penalties so Obviously the Devs don't mind it. Sucks for the newer players who are playing against people with 1k+ hours, If they face these kinds of people constantly you bet they're not going to want to play the game for much longer.

  • Agreed, It already sucks that if you swing and don't get the grab you don't get the hit either even tho the survivors scream, then you have to hit again only to have BT Proc every time since the person with BT will always try and take the hit.

  • @xChrisx said:
Every 6 week we get a new version for the game, the ptb is going to be this tuesday and then later 2 weeks as always we get the update in live version. Its weird the fact we still dont know nothing

Exactly, It's strange we know little to nothing. Makes me think they're going to push PTB to the 26th, Hope I'm wrong.

  • I wouldnt mind another hint, but looks like they're just going to wait until a reveal before PTB.

So far We have the fact that the Killer is the Oldest in the past by a long shot and this teaser:

  • I like your ideas, Especially the one about Pallets in the dream world. I feel like Freddy would be able to manipulate the dream world like the films and mess with the survivors. Pallets might be too similar to the Doc but phantom Gens that disappear when you interact with them would be cool since survivors look for gens to wake themselves up a lot of the time.

Out of all things Idk why killers complain about bloodpoints you guys get a ton points and if everyone leaves you at least get quitter bonus. If a killer dashboards than you get nothing as a survivor

    Don't you get 5k if killer DC's?

  • I don't think making ruin base kit is a good idea, The Problem is the difference in objective times for killer and survivor.
Killers have to Chase, down and hook each survivor multiple times which can take a very long time depending on the situation, Survivors on the other hand have to complete 5 gens and open the gates, all which can be done in a matter of minutes and is pretty straight forward but again situational. Reworking survivor objective times to match killers times is the solution.

  • I don't have legion but from what I hear it's a great Perk for them, Let's them get closer to survivors so there's less of the power gauge used when trying to hit someone. Also helps them in chases I believe since the mend meter will go down sooner if you leave the chase to switch targets.

  • No your not a bad killer for running Ruin. It's an essential perk with how bad Gen Times are, Not that it even lasts the first minute of the game anyway

  • Sabo wouldn't have irritated me before the hook changes but since the change if I can't get to a Hook because of sabo it can be very annoying, especially if the person has wiggle DS.

Just put yourself in the killers shoes, Can you blame the killer for trying to get you out of the game quickly if your saboing all the hooks?

Hitboxes are BS at times for both, Survivors can be turning a corner and get hit with a hatchet while a killer can swing and the hit doesn't register because the survivors spinning in a circle, It's ridiculous

But I do find it funny when I watch a streamer and they go crazy because they got hit trough a window, while standing on the other side of it. Like the killer can just extend their arm and hit you trough a window, There's no invisible wall there

It's also ridiculous when survivors avoid a hit with Dead Hard despite colliding a wall or any other obstacle.

Yeah Dead hard can look very questionable at times, Especially when they zoom trough your weapon . It's because the survivors model while using dead hard looses it's physicality so it wont be effected by anything, Traps and weapons included.

  • Yeah sadly that noise notification is part of the game, anything done about that would effect overall gameplay just to deal with an annoyance. They would just do the same with lockers anyhow.

  • Hitboxes are BS at times for both, Survivors can be turning a corner and get hit with a hatchet while a killer can swing and the hit doesn't register because the survivors spinning in a circle, It's ridiculous

  • I think Hag is the shortest killer we're going to get, I know freddy is shorter but her hunching makes the camera lower.

Can you imagine a gremlin, chucky or leprechaun on a corn or swamp map, you wouldn't be able to see anything. Not to mention Vaulting, lockers grabbing and hooking would probably look very strange. The only way a short killer could work is if it had third person view like survivors.

I love this map, Mainly because of the rain and trees. I hate that it hardly ever shows up. It's not that bad compared to the corn maps and swamp which seem to have higher probability of getting, at least for me.

Rain ? I never noticed rain in shelter woods, mothers dwelling is the only map with rain or not

    well #########
I'm an idiot i got them mixed up

  • NOED is not as big of a deal as people make it out to be, and yes you should cleanse the totems, It takes 14 seconds to cleanse a totem.
Totems are supposed to be a secondary objective, Most people gloss over them if they see a dull totem and then complain if they see NOED pop up at the end, It's completely counterable. Dull totems become pointless if NOED Doesn't exist.

The whole point of NOED Being so strong is it's an easy counter. DS on the other hand is even more broken but has no counter in the game.

  • Yeah most totem spawns arn't well hidden at all, They've been improved by an added object beside some to 'hide' them but still they're incredibly easy to find especially if the you remember spawn points.

Hex Totems are kind of pointless at higher ranks apart from Haunted grounds and NOED.

  • It's not that bad compared to the corn maps but I suppose it needs to go both ways for killer and survivors, some more in favor of the other side.

    Some hint:

It will be a non viable killer that will be demolished by SWF

If it's a non Viable killer I swear they're doing it to test us all

Non Viable Killers are Counter productive, and a complete Waste. I seriously wonder what goes trough their minds when willingly making a weaker killer.

  • I'm dying to find out, I want to get excited but there's nothing to go on yet. Hopefully they release pics of the killer and map like they did for legion.

  • I generally see it mostly with Leatherfaces, I think because he has the potential to down multiple survivors in one hit so that makes camping, especially in the basement appealing to players who play like that.

Wraith on the other hand, That's his power. He goes completely invisible when standing still, Camping around a Hex totem or Hook is kind of built into him otherwise there's no real point of him ever needing to stand still and use that part of his power.

  • Sadly the more familiar you get with the game the less scary it becomes. The only way to scare people who are familiar with the game is Jump scares and the only killers that can really get a scare is a good Nurse, Prayer bead spirit, Myers and Maybe Hag.
I'd love a new killer that actually feels powerful and has potential for Jump scares.
I'd run prayer bead spirit all the time just for the jump scares but sadly those add ons never appear in my bloodweb
