What do you platform do you play on because I would like to play against you right now. Anyone who plays clown gets an average of 1-2 kills per match.

The clown is not op. It is so easy to dodge his bottles. He can still get looped.

Wrong, clown is op in the right hands, as it should be.

Yeah and today in a beautiful green sky when I played DbD I wrecked people by flying with the clown putting jack in the boxes everywhere scaring the living ######### out of people

I'm sorry you don't know how to play with the clown.

I'm sorry you just play 50% of the game

I don't, i play both killer and survivor, try again.
If you played more as a killer you would know that the clown is not as bad as you think.

So now you know what I think?

I just stated and mads it clearl isn't even slightly opened, he's mid tier in my tier list but nothing special

Your mind reads are pretty weak, try again

You are just guessing mate, can you provide some real proof?

    Wat
    Wait what??
Please tell me what you smoke, it must be really good. I have no idea what are you talking about

Mmh i see, u dont understand.
The clown is mid tier due to your skills.
I'm not saying i'm good with the clown, but i've seen clowns keeping the map pressure as good as a billy.
@Blueberry has over 2K hours and despite the fact that we usually disagree he will tell you that the clown is a good killer as well.

I havn't really read most these arguments people are having here but I would indeed say the clown is quite strong and highly underestimated by most people. However, no where near "OP" as the OP of the thread seems to think. He has some glaring weaknesses.

Anyway you keep saying a free escape I balanced and advocate for that even when the devs themselves felt bad after seeing how abusable that perk is

Actually yeah, legit played games today where i dont even run crutch perks, first thing that happened, i got tunneled to death and off hook, i couldnt even play at all, and why was that? i spawned next to a hex ruin, started cleansing it, so the killer tunneled me and even camped so i wouldnt cleanse it, and that is a "valid" strategy on every killer main eyes, yet if it happened to you as survivor and u stand legit no chance, because you dont expect to get farmed and tunneled you would be just as tired of that bs like me and many other survivors who run ds and adrenaline for those 2 reasons.

    @Blueberry

True i should give a try to rank 1 killer, at least on my pov, i still see more 4/4 matches where the killer gets every kill on rank 1, than survivors escaping honestly, i played as killer main before 2.1.0 and it was damn hard, best rank i got was 12 and i didnt even know how to play, right now, running perkless on some killers for dailies, i got up to rank 7 just doing dailies, if u can easly get to that and probably even more, id say the game is most likely balanced, sure rank 1 might be harder, but you have almost 16 ranks, from 20 to 6 or 7, which will be beyond easy... Rank 1 is meant to be hard for both sides, id say balanced is if the killer can get a good amount of points and 2-3 kills. but getting 4/4 every single game as you guys want, if that day ever happens ill just uninstall the game, there will be no point playing a class called SURVIVOR if you will never SURVIVE...

Rank 7 is very different from playing rank 1. Basing this off other ranks isn't giving accurate information. A low rank idiot will use DS and still go down, a rank 1 is reaching a pallet or window in time. Basing a decision on whether something is too good or not is accurately read by someone using it correctly and to it's full potential, not from a survivor just playing stupid (ie lower ranks). Freddy absolutely destroys lower ranks, does this mean he is strong? No, they just play dumb at low ranks. That's my point. No one here has ever said "getting 4/4 every single game as you guys want" can we let this die already? This isn't what any of us are asking for whatsoever.

  • @G4rr3tt said:
You main spirit, with more than 2400 hours, and you are complaining about ds? you played as killer before 2.1.0 and you still think it's unbalanced? k im done, sorry for bothering lol..

You should use this moment as a chance to reflect on your opinions and that maybe if someone with that much more experience than me thinks that then maybe I could be wrong. As others have said, thinking DS is broken isn't something debatable, even the devs themselves have agreed it's broken which is why they are changing it and no, that's not just with swf. Also you really should play killer at rank 1 and you would understand more what we are talking about. Seeing this from just a perspective of playing survivor doesn't give you a real viewpoint of balance.

  • @G4rr3tt said:
Man, what killer do you even main, and how long you even played this game lmao..

I main Spirit and I've got almost 2,400 hours over the last almost 3 years.

    And you?

  • I like all of them except a few.

Sole Survivor with " gain the ability to open the exit gates without needing to complete all of the generators." is a little much. Just the other effects are fine and balanced.

Monstrous Shrine just seems kinda random effects thrown on because nothing else was thought of. 60 seconds of mangled when you hook them isn't much at all and blindness while you're on the hook down there is pretty irrelevant affecting almost nothing.

Left Behind doesn't need any buffs at all. Left Behind only SEEMS weak because the hatch in its current form is completely broken and makes doing any gens at that point irrelevant. If the hatch wasn't such a free escape for doing nothing then all of the sudden that perk starts to look quite a lot better.

  • @Master said:
Honestly, even if he has all traps available at the start, that still doesnt make him viable.

He needs a complete rework, just like freddy. The introduction of SWF has hurt him so much.....

So you are getting 3 kill games and you are complaining? lol you know a victory is not escaping, or killing all 4 survivors, a victory is having a good amount of points and piping in some cases, if you are getting 3 kills and 1 escapes thru the hatch then dont complain man.. You are pretty much saying that even with ds ur killing more than half the team, idk what's your point then

Firstly, whether someone kills 4 or kills 0 is completely and utterly irrelevant about whether DS is an issue or not.

Second, Enduring is not a counter for DS, they still get to a loop or window.

Third, Spirit Fury is getting you 1 hit after you've been looped multiple times around 2 pallets. This is assuming no exhaustion perk, him having another DS as well, or the fact that now you have to get the second hit...which means another 2 pallets worth of loops..also baring no windows.

Even with those perks, he's still lost a lot of gens in that time...for 1 hook...also assuming no body blocks or flashlights. That one hook got him 1/12 of his objectives completed while it got the survivors almost 50% of theirs done.

A final note as well. Points/Pips is not winning, that was what the devs did with rank up changes to brainwash you into thinking you actually won when you lost so everyone can be happy instead of actually buffing the killers to where they should be. A killer that didn't kill, didn't win.

Wat?? after you hit ds you still have exhaustion dude, it only goes to 0 when you are hooked, and when you are running it doesnt go down, so u can legit use an exhaustion perk once per chase, and killers are way faster than survivors now even when you have the sprint burst buff they still catch up, and yes ds is relevant to kills, because if it were a perk that's making every single survivor escape due to a let's say, THIRD chance, after getting hooked twice, well i would understand what you say, but i mean even if they all run ds, 3 of them have to wigle to 35%, and there are hooks right next to each other, there are legit more hooks than pallets, when i dont have the obsession i never hit ds cus i get hooked before the skill check, with that being said if only 1 survivor escapes and thru the hatch, you did a good job man, u got 3 kills, they didnt finish every gen, and sometimes u even get the survivor with ds hoooked as well, they just escape but they been hooked before, so u can even get a 4 stack bbq n chili for extra bloodpoints..

All this ds crying is just baby crying at this point, "OH GOD 1 SURVIVOR ESCAPE THRU THE HATCH, I LOST CUS I DIDNT GET A 4K, THIS GAME IS BAD PLS BUFF KILLER" stop being a clown god

So much nonsense here where to begin.

Exhaustion doesn't matter, you still have plenty of time to reach a pallet or window. 35% wiggle means almost nothing whatsoever. The likelihood of getting downed 3 times where you were too close to a hook to use it not a single time is extremely low and highly unlikely. "if it were a perk that's making every single survivor escape" this is not what we are saying. We are saying it's giving a 4th life for free in a game where the killer is already vastly behind on time. The reason whether they got 4 or 0 kills isn't relevant to whether DS is a problem or not is because many survivors just play bad. Killing 4 stupid people doesn't mean the perk isn't too strong, it just means you had 4 stupid people. By your logic of "if only 1 survivor escapes and thru the hatch, you did a good job man, u got 3 kills" if all 4 of you are at the open exit gate the killer should just get to instantly mori one of you because HEY 3 of you escaped, you did good! Oh that would feel like you were cheated and didn't earn it because you were gonna escape? Welcome to the hatch and the standards you just placed. This terrible logic of yours further shown by a stupid comment like "OH GOD 1 SURVIVOR ESCAPE THRU THE HATCH, I LOST CUS I DIDNT GET A 4K" which isn't what we are saying whatsoever if you understood.

If you played killer regularly at rank 1 your opinions would be very different.

  • Even after his update he honestly is still so, so far behind. He should start with 3 traps on him at base, all traps start on the map already armed, if an injured survivor hits a trap it should be a down, more traps on the map in general and the ultra-rare to make traps re arm themselves after some time should be thrown onto Hangmans Trick for him to use.

I mean, bbq and chili can be punished by having survivors hiding in lockers? here let me give you an ez tip, run iron maiden, gives you a free exposed effect on whoever who runs into a locker and their location for 4 seconds, they "nerfed" to give a buff, tho i dont see the "nerf" was needed honestly, but it's not much of a change thinking about the new perk that's getting introduced so... say what again?

    I love guys like you.
When someone complains about a built-in mechanic being to strong, you just say "simply run perk X".
When we talk about DS, simply run "unnerving enduring, makes DS useless".
When we talk about pallets/loops, simply run enduring spirity fury and bamboozle.
Gens geting finished below 3 minutes? Simply run op ruin

You do realize that killers only have 4 perk slots to fight against the 16 perk slots of the survivors AND the built in design "features"

    ^^^^ This. Seriously. +1

we only have 4 perk slots yet we're given super situational perks to counter more problems that are useless perks the rest the time. Meanwhile survivors don't even needs perks to counter a lot of things and even then the perks are just good in general and not highly situational like most killer ones. It's already 16 perks against 4 and even the 4 we do have are almost all taken by "required" perks just to be functional.

    No timelimit on this?
If that would anything for a killer, that would be a perk instead f a free mechanic.
    More training wheels for survivor.

Yes, works on ALL aura reading. Freddy, BBQ, Wraith all seeing, Michael mirror, all of it.

And yeah ridiculous. If it was for killer it would've been a perk and definitely not free. 7 counters to BBQ wasn't enough and indirectly nerfing the other things was just...because. Killers needed nerfs right?

So multiple ultra rare add ons -some even with build in drawbacks already- get a severe nerf.
And BBQ gets an idiotproof counter that you do not need a brain for to use.
If that would had been a perk, I would be fine, but survivor get all their counter for free.
And it doesn't even have a timelimit. facepalm

    I see it this way.
Want to hide from BBQ? Fine, I will assume taht you are swarming the hook.

Seems like the devs forgot the reason why they introduced BBQ, but maybe they also believe that the new punishment for camping is enough

Basically. People complain about BBQ when there are plenty of counters. This change is going to backfire hard on them. I always leave hook for the BBQ person. If this change makes it so I don't see anyone I'm gonna assume they're all around the hook and not leave. This discourages me from playing a way that's more fun for all. Not a healthy change.

  • Here's how we buff distortion and handle the locker aura reading change in one.

Bake the locker aura reading into the new Distortion survivor perk as a passive on it and if they use the locker to block an aura reading it won't consume one of their tokens. At least this would make it so it would cost them a perk slot if they really hated aura perks, abilities, etc. Now those 3 tokens will only be needed when you get caught out and weren't expecting it but you can reliably use the locker.

  • Pretty easily claudette, her camo is honestly broken. You can get away with so much on her that you would never get away with on another survivor. Her clothes need to be brighter to compensate.

  • Especially #1. We already have way too many killers that are too addon-dependent. We need him functioning well even without using addons.

  • Spreading his pressure is just not happening against competent rank 1 survivors on the larger maps. The larger maps are just too big to where his speed isn't enough. We're not talking about strong or weak maps for him, we're talking non functional maps because their size.

  • @powerbats said:

Those aren't the people we're talking about. We're talking about the ones that would have actually left if they saw someone.

But how many wouldn't leave though if the survivor saw one of the following killers especially if the killer was say Blily, Nurse, Spirit and the map was small. They were close enough to just run in below the BBQ aura.

You're told just move around for 4 seconds or change direction, 2 seconds have elapsed and the Billy/Nurse is already on your rear end chasing you.

Also if you saw someone in the distance and 1 person was the one you just hooked you're not leaving the hook. You'll continue to do what you've been doing which is patrol around there since you know someones close,.

If several gens are done well that's less gens to hide behind meaning there's people close so of course you'll patrol around the hooked person. The only way you'd go charging off in the distance for someone is if there were multiple people on the hook and or everyone was in the distance.

The only other reason you'd go charging off instead of checking in case you didn't see anyone was because of you were running either MYC and or DH.

I don't think the counters for BBQ not being good enough is even a debatable topic. They are quite reasonable, even against the high mobility killers.

I always leave the hook and go for the BBQ target if it shows, almost always. Only reason I wouldn't is if it didn't show a single person or I literally saw a survivor or scratch marks by the hooked person.

I'm not sure what you're trying to debate here.

    Here's the real problem...

    Killer hooks survivor
Looks around with BBQ, sees no auras

Killer: "Oh my, no auras. That must mean there's not 1, not 2, but 3 survivors nearby!!! Oh man, I'm gonna have to stay here and catch them!!"

    Camps survivor out of game

    Cue postgame salt

Like I get the idea of being able to block auras, but bbq helped the killer find his next target. It gave him a clear direction to encourage getting him away from the hook. Plus the maps are huge and survivors can be hard to find. Aura reading perks were a great way to speed up the game, especially against immersed p3 claudettes.

We can only hope that Distortion doesn't become meta. I really think it's going to get a lot of use though.

@Wolf74 I wouldn't be as fussed if they nerfed decisive but after all this time and they still haven't touched it despite everyone knowing its the most broken perk in the game.

Edit: you know I really think they're going to have to get rid of the 40m range on bbq, otherwise killers might accidentally camp due to assuming survivors were nearby.

    ^^^This.

This perk is literally just going to make more killers camp when BBQ shows nothing. It encouraged much healthier and enjoyable game play for all and now that's gonna be gone.

You mean because of this change killers that hard camped, soft camped or patrol camped because BBQ didn't show them anyone are suddenly going to play the same way because of the change?

Those aren't the people we're talking about. We're talking about the ones that would have actually left if they saw someone.

A good idea is to use Rancor instead of BBQ&C

Yeah but did you get a hook from all of that? Probably not because you have to wait for them to mess up (forgetting to mend) or win a 110% M1 chase.

You're gonna do a lot, but not actually get anything from it because then you're gonna get looped as a hag with no power. Let's not forget you aren't even getting time wasted while they heal either, because why heal? He can't down you in Feral Frenzy and at base he's getting looped all day.

Normally by that time i am a little late getting there so i go after the unhooked injured survivor.

Isn't that the smart thing to do? go after the injured survivor that takes 1 hit and shorter chase rather then the other survivor that needs two hits and a prolonged chase? If i end up going after the survivor that needs two hits, the unhooked survivor can just get healed then its back to a long chase and 2 hits again.

I noticed someone said just grab them off or hit them when they are trying to pull the other survivor off, but correct me if im wrong the only real killers that can do that consistently is the nurse or billy (maybe spirit) with their extreme movement? with the other killers you would sorta have to patrol the hook, then get called a camper.

It's easy to do, low effort, and knocks players out of the game quickly. It is not fun to be on the receiving end, and it is not something the game wishes to encourage. You're basically chasing around a person that's Exposed past the first hook, and you'll always know where they are (by the hook)/when to chase them (when they are unhooked). It's smart unless the person is using Borrowed Time.

The easiest ways to combat this change is to walk away from the hook (MYC, BBQC, Devour Hope), use TR lowering perks (M&A or Insidious), use a stealth killer power, or facecamp. People who complain are just people who camp, like how they complained about every camping nerf.

Every killer can grab survivors off from unhooking. The best killer to do this is the Doctor. The worst is Freddy.

" it is not something the game wishes to encourage" this is just fake news.

The devs have said otherwise on stream and they do encourage it as a style of game play.

This sounds like something else I know called looping, yet all the survivors do that. There's a lot of hypocrisy is saying these things about tunneling/camping.

The new killer is literally anti-tunneling. Borrowed Time discourages camping and tunneling. The Chase Emblem discourages camping. Please stop saying fake news. lol

Which is why looping got nerfed like three times.

You really should watch the dev streams, you are wrong about a lot.

The new killer is "supposed" to be anti-tunneling, the reality is different right now however. BT encourages bad saves and wasn't put because the devs didn't want camping or tunneling, it was because enough baby survivors whined about it so they caved. Their stance on the subject hasn't changed, by their own words.

Nerfing looping dooesn't mean the devs discourage it, just that it's too strong.

  • People aren't playing him incorrectly because they don't understand how he works or what you're actually supposed to be doing with him. They are playing him incorrectly because the way he's intended to be played (how you described) isn't currently viable with how weak he is. You're more incentivized to tunnel the one dude out currently.

How was BBQ nerfed? Or are you just referring to the new perk working as a sort of counter for aura reading?

  • You're interpreting this all wrong. The problem isn't that Left Behind needs buffs, it's that the hatch is completely in the survivors favor so that there's no reason you would ever even want to do the gens. Fix the hatch and all the sudden this perk looks a lot better.

I would totally agree with your comment...if the game was f2p.

The game's only like 15 bucks

Its 20 bucks...which means it's not f2p. Plus you cant unlock licensed characters by playing the game. Some of these characters happen to have the best perks as well. Sure you can get these perks from the shrine but there's grind and some weekly rng crap that seems to rotate more bad perks then good. You see stuff like this all the time in f2p games.

Still way cheaper then most games and it goes on sale for even less than that quite frequently. Also, most the best perks are all on NON licenced killers. There's literally only maybe 1 really good perk between all the licenced ones and it's not even "meta" arguably. If there wasn't rng with the shrine no one would bother wasting money, that's kind of the entire point. Compared to most games I think they are more than generous.

  • I think it's less that RUIN needs buffs and more that totems just in general need fixing.

Also on that note though, we just need time extending perks like RUIN to be less mandatory. Too many perks just feel required to function at a normal level rather than getting to actually choose what you feel like using.

  • It's just confirmed to be this week, no one knows when. Like others have said, my guess would be tomorrow as well. It gives them a little time to look at reactions to it before they stream thursdays.

  • Firstly, can you stop making more than one forum post on this topic, it's spam.

I would've just let this post die but you went and tagged us all in it again.

Your idea is just as bad as the first time I read it. You are getting so many posts that don't take you seriously because your idea is so, so, so out of touch with reality in how an actual match in this game goes. I cannot imagine how you could see this as a good idea unless you're playing at rank 20 or something and you just started playing the game a week ago.

The game is already heavily enough in favor of survivors and that pallet repairing feature would completely break the game. You would have infinite loops everywhere. Even with the current pallets we have NOT regenerating, you can loop a killer for 5 gens and STILL have pallets left and you are wanting to even make those regenerate?!

That is why people aren't taking you seriously, because it's just THAT bad of an idea and would be terrible for the game for the reason I provided.

Btw hooks regenerating for killers how you want is basically meaningless and irrelevant in most cases. Almost never has a hook being already used up or sabo'd in this current build caused killers an issue which is also the reason no one runs Hangmans Trick. The chest change isn't needed, survivors already collect way more items and addons than killers do, which is a lot. Totem change would just waste way too much of the killers time in a game where the killer ALREADY doesn't have even near enough time to begin with and is one of the games core issues.

Also can you stop with the trying to sound sophisticated with word dribble and big word usage to make yourself look like the victim in this and that people are attacking you without listening to your idea. People are listening, it's just a bad idea. Just because people disagree with you doesn't mean they don't understand it or are simply wanting to attack you. This type of wording just makes it come across as pompous and doesn't make the idea any more intelligent no matter how fancy you try and make it look.

The company has to make money, if it was that easily acquired hardly anyone would waste their money. I think you should feel lucky they even allowed you to get most those things with play time, they didn't have to do that. This feels very entitled to me.

I would totally agree with your comment...if the game was f2p.

The game's only like 15 bucks

  • So this isn't supposed to be a troll post...just wow

  • I don't think anyone ever said it wasn't effective or not fun to use. While totally counterable, I do still think it's a crutch. Use whatever though.

It's not exactly that unusual of an ability to think of, it wouldn't surprise me if more people had as well. That's also the only thing similar.

I don't think what I have is bare bones even remotely. Perks have nothing to do with the killer or survivor concept. Perks are used by all killers and survivors, they aren't unique to one. They are pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of chapter design as they wouldn't even need to be linked to the chapter to be brought in.

When you get too specific you are limiting the developers design space in implementing your idea. This is to give them ideas, not make it for them.

devs can just ignore numbers and keep concept and come up with their own balanced numbers though they aren't forced to use your numbers, better to have something that can ignored then nothing at all IMO

perks are like the lore/identity of a killer and the hardest part to do, you gotta theme out the perks and makes them transferable over to all killers, i personally find making the perks the funniest part to do

If they're dumping the numbers you give out then I don't think they have a point being put in the first place. A description to get the idea across seems good to me.

While lore is very important, the lore attached with the perks isn't affecting the killers core gameplay so I don't see it as being that much relevant or needed, definitely not "bare bones" when withholding that. If you just enjoy doing that good, I just don't think it's as important for the core concept of the chapter to deem it incomplete without.

i mean the main part of the killer is traveling to lockers..

yea what you have is bare bones concept, not even any perks

i like to specify ideas and if they aren't balanced people can tell then if its OP, guess we take a different approach

  • It includes more than just breaking pallets, that's why it's less. That said, I think both perks are garbage. Fire Up just needs higher numbers and Brutal Strength needs to make the gen degress even faster.

its RNG though Where the lockers spawn and if they are part of any relevant loop, RNG killers like Freddy and the pig usually aren't fun

its pretty hard to judge if the power is balanced how close do they have to be get pulled in? define what nearby means

reason i mention it is I just posted it from Reddit to here today and now it looks i copied you based on post dates.. yea the concept could work

I don't think the idea you linked looks anything like my idea at all.

The whole point of this is to give ideas, not LITERALLY give an exact yard radius that the feature will have. It can simply have a dark/smoky aura emanating from each locker to give killers or survivors its reach.

Locker spawns are hardly an RNG feature to even bother mentioning. There are much higher RNG elements in the game than those would bring in. It's also not at all the same kind of RNG as your examples. You aren't looking for a chance to wake up or hope there's a key in t he box you're doing. You can literally see the lockers from afar and go there or not. This is apples and oranges.

i posted a killer like this on Reddit like 3 days before you posted this

    https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/9tfk7u/the_pharaoh_a_full_dead_by_daylight_killer_concept/

even if it wasn't copied which is possible its very similar people will just not run in front of lockers making your power useless

also unlimited locker range on locker travel is OP need a limit on it or there needs to a red addon for it to be possible

Well first, I don't use reddit so no I hadn't seen yours before. However, I don't think your idea and mine look even remotely similar anyway.

Lockers are quite numerous, especially near loops. Them staying away from the lockers as you say benefits him anyway as they don't have a loop to run to so the power is very much useful.

As I mentioned in the description of his power, the locker travel would have a limit and I already said there could be a red addon to lesson or remove that limit. I also already mentioned it having a cd and even possibly giving notifications to survivors every time he does use it.

  • They said they were "looking into it" maybe a year ago. It's been overdue for a very, very long time and been asked of them already many, many times. We continue to wait.

  • The company has to make money, if it was that easily acquired hardly anyone would waste their money. I think you should feel lucky they even allowed you to get most those things with play time, they didn't have to do that. This feels very entitled to me.

  • The maps just need to have an equal chance of being selected rather than what we have now, which is where the more versions of a map exist the higher chances it has.

  • They said next week, my guess is Tuesday. I doubt they'd wait till Thursdays stream.

All of the hallowed blight teasers are for the next chapters killer/survivor, not this one. That's also the victorian era one.

    huh? Im confused

Those teasers were for the chapter after this December one, not this one. The chapter that was teased at during the hallowed blight event was also said to be the oldest chapter they'd done yet. People have speculated at that older time period being victorian based on the released skins.

Where did they say that the teasers werent for this chapter? the oldest chapter they will do is Chapter 11 im talking about 10 and the hallowed blight cutscenese were never considered "teasers" but I am considering them as clues.

It was in a stream, can't remember which one

  • They really need to balance out the occurrence. They have it where the maps with more versions are adding more chances for it.

Higher crouch viewpoint, get rid of the stupid sound at the beginning of her ambush, combat straps by default and put Rule Set #2 in her base kit. That's all she needs.

    Agree completely.

Not a required change, but not showing the RBT timer to survivors but instead letting Amanda see it would also be a nice touch and add a little psychological terror to boot.

Also, why does her letter reduce her trap numbers? It's good, but not that good that it deserves to have a negative side effect.

    It's pretty easy.

Take the plants from the blighted event, turn them into gas tanks or whatever that you have to work on like the plants and the vial is a gas meter you have to fill. You have to apply a full gas meter to a gen to activate it and allow it to start being worked on. So, in other words each gen will need to be filled with gas before it can be worked on.

    Boom.

How is a radiant fetch quest going to solve radiant quest? I don't think adding more steps to the gens is the way to go about making the game more interesting. Adding an alternative goal or generally something like that is a better option than adding walking back and forth

The point is to add more steps to slow things down without just adding time to gens. An alternate goal doesn't add time, it simply gives a different option. Options are nice, but time is the issue.

While I get what you're saying, I could give the EXACT same argument for multiple things the survivors have.

We're not talking about multiple things, we're talking about one thing: Offerings. There is no offering for Survivors that matches the impact a Killer's Mori offering has on a game.

    Offering = 1 use
    Non offerings = multiple/unlimited uses

Is the offering really the issue? I don't think so

1 … 238 239 240 241 242 … 255
