  • You deserve what you tolerate. First it was the 10th Anniversary, then Chaos Shuffle, now Lights Out. 2v8 will be next and I hope it won't surprise you, because it shouldn't. Killer queues are still long. Your complaints here mean nothing, I've seen what you'll queue for. The killer beatings will continue until queue times improve.

  • Free Windows of Opportunity, 60 seconds base-kit OTR, +20% repair speed across the board, and the maps are actually BRIGHTER THAN NORMAL QUEUE

    KILLER SIDED EVENT

  • This argument appears to be built to downplay the severity of gen perk nerfs to create a narrative that the nerfs weren't really all that bad and that they should be nerfed more. I guess the game will never be easy enough for some people.

  • Nowhere to Hide is getting its 24m range back and instead the aura read is being locked to the kicked gen rather than the killer. This will prevent killers like Blight from getting excess value from it, it does not affect how the other killers will use it.

The only Issue I have seen mentioned about STB that I see as a legit issue is hook shuffling using multiple STB. (eg adam on 2 hooks meg takes 1 then you hook meg and she's at 2 then claud comes unhook then david comes unhook and everyone is on 1 hook) I have suggested not letting someone who has STB before to be STB but in return STB can be used for both your hook states.

Other then that perk is perfectly fine imo.

Fully agreed with this. The perk is only a problem if its used in a chain like that. Other than that, powerful effect with significant risk, high risk, high reward, seems fine to me otherwise.

  • You people have told killers for years to just "break the pallet" Are you ready for some of your own medicine?

Just break the totem. How does it taste? That's what I thought.

  • BHVR has been caught lying to our faces several times in the past. I don't look at their "statistics", I look at their reputation, which is demonstrably untrustworthy.

That being said, body blocking with OTR or base-kit anti-tunnel? That's a tunnelin'

Using said OTR then hopping into a locker to force the DS? That's a tunnelin'

Following me around while injured trying for flashlight saves while making no effort to stay concealed? That's a tunnelin'

Not every hard tunnel falls out of the sky. Sometimes you asked for it.

  • You know what would make Chaos Shuffle amazing? If certain perks and addons weren't absolute hot garbage for no good reason, like No Mither or Padded Jaws.

  • You're supposed to lose. That's why they added those trash meme addons back into the mix, BHVR wants there to be a high chance your power just doesn't work. Padded Jaws, Speed Limiter, the list goes on, and since they're Brown rarity, they appear much more often than higher rarity addons.

When the only winning move is not to play, that's what you do. Play something else, come back in a few months, if things haven't changed for the better, find another game to play. Rinse, repeat.

  • I got Padded Jaws 3 times in a row on the first day of Chaos Shuffle. I logged off and haven't touched this dumpster fire since. BHVR tore that mask off 2 years ago, but now they're burning it and laughing at us.

  • They aren't playing the game, they're making the game miserable for you, thats why.

  • It would be nice if categories didn't cap out at 10k and instead the base score just capped at 40k.

  • You see, survivors found it boring that killers got good stuff in Chaos Shuffle when they had about a 0.5% chance of getting poopy No Mither, so now your killers have about a 5% chance (some are higher, like Nurse it's more like 20%) to get a trash meme addon that cripples you. Survivors find that more fun.

As for the Light's Out changes, well, if you look at perk usage rates, over 34% of all Survivors use Windows, because looking for windows and pallets with your eyes and pre-planning your next move when the killer comes is boring. Lights Out is unfair without yellow.

  • The Deliverance nerf is not a surprise. HOW they nerfed it, is a head scratcher.

  • I feel like this stream is just a hint of whats to come. I am no longer excited for 2027.

  • They're too busy making changes no one asked for.

  • You could keep it at 66% and chop the perk into several pieces.

  • Sure why not. Let's give survivors a 4 second exit gate.

  • I wouldn't be so excited if I were you. BHVR's definition of 'nerf' is both NUCLEAR WEAPON and Microscopic tweak.

  • I've been dealing with pallet density by playing killers who aren't bothered by it. Nurse, pallet eater Legion, Stealth Billy. Survivors have been asking for years for BHVR to address the deadzones that sometimes appear on maps, and Killers have been asking for years for the maps to be more fair.

I'm mostly a killer main and in almost some of my killer matches i end up going against toxic survivors or survivors who constantly tea bag, try to blind me with their flashlights, or say extremely hateful things in endgame chat, it gets on my nerves sometimes to the point where i just view myself as a bad killer player if every generator gets done, survivors escape and i either get one kill or no kills at all and i sometimes get pretty tilted in endgame chat and my anger takes over, how do i honestly stop taking this game so seriously because my mindset is constantly just "I HAVE TO WIN, IF I DON'T WIN, I'M JUST A BAD KILLER MAIN AND I SHOULD JUST UNINSTALL AND THIS GAME IS JUST FULL OF TOXIC SURVIVORS!"

Understand that BHVR is a company, and companies need to make money to survive. Also understand that survivor mains will ALWAYS have more money than killers. When you realize this, you realize DBD is not a game anyone should take seriously for any reason. If anyone disagrees, all I have to say to you is 9.2.0.

Killers are not getting Franklin's giving survivors WoO while holding the candle is fair it's a high risk high reward item for them. If they want to see the map they themselves become easy to see by the killer.

The devs really need to disable Ghost Face and Meyers for this mode as well as they basically have sight hacks which I feel was the most frustrating part of lights out.

They should also ban Legion because they can see survivors with killer instinct. Also they should ban trapper because his traps are impossible to see in this mode. Also they should ban Wraith because it's so dark I can't see his shimmering even when he's close because it's dark

Also they should ban Sadako because her phasing will be impossible to see in the dark and it's unfair. Also they should ban Dredge, because what would Midnight do? Make it so dark we can't see anything? Also they should ban Bubba and Billy because it's unfair that they can just walk up on us with no terror radius and insta down us.

Also they should ban Cenobite because finding the box in the dark would be impossible.

Oh please. First of all, you're idea is terrible. No one is using overcome. Second, of all. I wouldn't care if survivors were getting on demand elusive. It's not "on demand", but we can get to that later. Because unlike you I actually use my eyes to track survivors. You rely on the bright orange marks on the ground and that's why you think elusive is this super overpowered status effect that wins chases.

Indoor maps. Tall walls. You assume my perspective is killer, I used it that way as survivor. Open mouth, insert foot. Also good luck using "your eyes" to track survivors through walls without those bright orange marks.

Only time I didn't get away from the killer was when I was out in the open and impossible to line of sight them. Once again, I'm sorry you didn't know how to use it before it was too late.

  • If you really want the 4k, slug for it. Hatch is fine as is. However, I would like to address slugging for the 4k by letting the downed survivor Abandon if they're slugged for, say, 30 seconds while 2 survivors are dead.

  • If you recorded the gameplay BHVR has a support e-mail you can send it to. I think… Also naming and shaming is usually against the rules, I'd probably leave that part out on the forums, but put it in the report e-mail.

  • Pebble reworked to: Grenade

While in the killer's terror radius and not in chase for 60 seconds, enter a locker to obtain Grenade. Use Action Button 1 to throw, if detonation occurs within 3 meters of the killer, they die, and respawn after 30 seconds in the Basement.

  • Wraith has been getting alot of bangers lately. The Masquerade, The Jester, now Sobek. Wish I played him more, but I don't.

  • Google says you need to buy the YooTooz figurine to get the code for the charm.

Can't confirm, I checked out the YooTooz page, and the Jason figurine is on pre-order status, and while the page does mention DBD, it does not mention the charm.

  • I'm not exactly happy or enthusiastic about so many recolors being on the Premium track.

  • I dare someone to check and see if it's just a visual bug.

  • Old CE + Overcome. The chase is over. I'm sorry you didn't know how to use it to make it busted, but it was fun while it lasted. The current version could use another pass, but if you see nothing wrong with on-demand Elusive in a chase, you're delusional.

  • BHVR doesn't really have a reason to do anything. Player numbers are higher than ever, queue times for both sides are acceptable. There's no reason to even drop balance patches apparently, because that's how well the game is currently doing.

You can enjoy low tier killers, you just shouldn't expect to win.

Comparing Boons and Hexes is also very wrong. You cannot compare those just because both are shiny Totems. Boons are way weaker than Hexes. Boons take time to setup. Boons are snuffed out immediatly, Hexes need time to cleanse. Those are just three glaring differences.

But if you mean that the Killer should have to spend 14 seconds to set up their Hex-Totem and Survivors can snuff them out instantly, but the Killer can rekindle them… Go for it.

Wow. 14 whole seconds. Infinitely replacable on any totem of their choice. Survivors sure have it rough!

You're totally right btw about hexes being so much stronger than boons, like how they can be permanently cleansed before the killer gets any value out of them, and boons are super weak, like why even bring them? Like that one that gives you unbreakable! Man, why does that perk even exist, its so weak!

  • In the past two weeks, I've reported 5 people who told me to uninstall myself. Haven't seen any results yet, maybe that team is on vacation.

  • I just want the right to choose which totems hold my hex perks. Doesn't seem fair to me Survivors can choose which totem to boon, but Killer is forced to have their 1 Hex perk on the totem sitting on the hill, visible from space.

Then again, fairness to killers has never been a priority, so I won't hold my breath.

  • Even if this theory was true, and BHVR was just lazy, I don't care. GIMME THE MOD TOOLS

  • The only logical reason anyone would be against this is because they are entitled toxic manchildren who want to force their opponent into a humiliation ritual after beating them. BHVR could very easily add a basic killer bot, it's endgame, no one cares, and if you do, you're just exposing yourself.

  • I just want HUNK to have his RE9 lines and a custom neck snap mori for his current skin.

  • 2700 or so on Legion. It's super easy to hit 40k BP every game on Legion, so I'm min/maxing the BP cakes can give.

  • Play enough killer to reach high MMR. You'll know when you get there. Play a killer below A-tier, let me know when things change. If the game still "feels balanced", you not there yet.

i am not obligated to intentionally throw the game in the hope it makes my opponent potentially enjoy it more

According to the number of downvotes you got, the majority clearly expect you to do that.

  • BHVR has proven they can program Priority Queues with the Play While You Wait system. Why not create Low Priority Queues for ragequitters? That way, all the ragequitters can play with other ragequitters and if they want to get out of LPQ, they have to stick around and complete games.

    What about:

Damaging survivor gives 3 tokens up to 30. Spent all tokens to reduce generator by 1 % per each token and block it for 1s for each token.

Would have to be a basic-attack. My Legion would LOVE that version of the perk, survivors would not.

  • I understand the sentiment of seeing 7 Ghouls in a row. I WISH I could banish him from my lobbies for a month, but no type of ban system will work. It would only cause more problems than it solves.

  • Why do survivors want more free information on the killer's perks? While we're at it, how about we let the killer know before picking up a survivor if they have DS? It sounds just as fair.

  • I didn't know July had 5 weeks.

  • BHVR should hire MrTatorHead from youtube. The guy makes in-depth looping tutorials, and if new players checked out atleast one of these videos, they would get a much better understanding of the game.

My personal opinion is that killers need a "per killer" MMR in addition to that. Each killer is unique enough that it takes some practice to get used to their individual powers, etc.

It's why so many killers tend to get stuck on a "main" or only really play 3-4 killers and only dabble with the others. Once your killer MMR is at a certain level, there's no real opportunity to learn at all.

Survivors don't really need that, since each survivor is essentially identical with a tiny amount of variance. It's really just "what skin do you want to run or what do you want to look like in game".

If you're trying to learn a brand new killer power, the bots in custom game really aren't a bad alternative.

  • I'll make you a deal. I'd agree to giving survivors an Abandon option if they are in the dying state for more than 60 seconds while 1 other survivor remains alive and on their feet, if killers get to Abandon the moment the EGC begins and no survivor is hooked or dying.

You can even replace the killer with a generic bare-bones chase + M1 bot. It's the end of the match, who's gonna care? The bully squads that want to force someone to watch them leave? Who gives a **** what they think anyway?

  • I'd rather add things to change up gameplay rather than punish a side for performing well. I won't go into it here, but suffice it to say, I'm waiting for those modding tools BHVR promised us with bated breath, because I've got ideas.

  • I don't tunnel out of the box, but if you body block with your base-kit BT, or OTR, or some other perk, you automatically forfeit any right to cry about tunneling in post-game chat, you asked for it. Off-hook Endurance is meant to punish tunneling, but if you decide to use it to body block and expect no consequences, you have just given me permission to tunnel you out.
