  • Sometimes, when the game is promising to be to sweaty, I'll just don't bother the survivors and let them do their M1-generator-repair simulator for 4min. Interestingly enough (not really), a lot will be bored enough to keep looking for you. So maybe holding M1 for 4min wasn't what survivors as a whole wanted? Who could have guessed.

  • As a killercyou sorta have one choice to make at the start of the game: do I tunnel one of the first survivors that I encounter out of the game, hard, or do I meekly accept getting humiliated and played by the nose?

It really sucks, but the only good games I had of late were the ones were I tunneled one player out and then the game slowed down considerably because it became a 3v1. Survivors have become so efficient with their gen time that you probably have to play hard and tunnel hard about 3/4 of the time. And when you do, you get super salty comments about how horrible a person you are and that your babykiller skills don't count as a true victory.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Because they are adding "new content" without fixing major issues in existing game. They try to show they still care about the game and still support it, when in reality it's not exactly like this, to say the least.

But yeah, just throwing "you are incorrect" without any further elaboration definitely makes any criticism futile.

Remember when last Halloween we got a short chapter, some scary looking hooks and gens and pumpkins lying around and people were like "for real, thats all for the Halloween even? As a horrorgame this is a shame!!!!11". Same principle should adhere, right? You can't please them all, someone will always twist whatever you do around and try to use it against you. Thats why the devs shrug and just move on.

  • I am stoked! It will be the first time that I am there right from the beginning of a new tome and I actually toyed with the idea of investing some time into pig, so now I got even more of an incentive to do so.

  • @Heartbound said:

This would make a good chase theme for the Pig. I was originally going to post this as a joke but the more I think about it...it's perfect.

I think if they release that cosmetic where you can see the Pig's face, and if she's pretty, that's going to be a popular skin.

"Most people are so ungreatful to be alive, but not you, not anymore. Make your choice: Boop the snout ... or die."

  • Well, that one is easy: Pyramid Head (the chunky version though)

  • @Trickstom said:

After watching the trailer for the next Tome, I wonder why Pig still doesn't have a unique theme song. Most licensed killers that came before the Demogorgon and after Myers (Bubba, Freddy, Pig and GhostFace) did not receive a menu/chase theme (excluding the GF that received a menu theme at least).

She received buffs and nerfs during her long time in this game and now, she will have her own Tome. She deserves it.

Btw, I'm still hopeful that the Devs will put 'Hello Zepp' when Pig's traps activates, like the video below.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2IYpJQL01M&ab_channel=LukeR

And seeing that Tobin Bell (aka Jigsaw) voiced the trailer for the Tome, I really hope that one day he will have some in-game voices just like Pinhead, for example: "I wanna play a game" (Trap activate), "Most people are so ungrateful to be alive, but not you, not any more...." (Removing the trap) and "Game over" (Dying by a trap).

OMG that was intense! I was on the edge of my seat for the whole time!

  • Hey there, I am hijacking this thread a bit ^^

While I can't help OP with their stats, here is my google doc of my collected killer stats. I noted down most of my matches, but omitted the ones where I just memed or farmed to get some hard achievment done, like the "Chainsaw two survivors within 30s of each other" for Billy. In rare cases I forgot to take notes or rage clicked after a bad game on the leave game button, so my stats would be slightly winning sided, but this rage-quits can't be more then 5-8, I would say.

  • Awwww ... now I feel truly aweful for making such a bad attempt at a joke and pulling your leg :< I had quite some spirit games in the last couple of days and soon my post should be approved and magically appear in this thread.

  • @QwQw said:

If I still played the game, I might pick up Spirit.

I feel like not many people play her because she arguably has one of the most unique play styles in the game, and (despite what salty survivors would have you believe), she is actually pretty hard to learn.

No. She is actually braindead to play and anyone with half a brain cell turned on can 4K constantly with her, because she is so OP.

  • @GannTM said:

Spirit is a great killer that is fun for both sides. So why doesn’t anyone play her? Like I said, she’s fun, fair, and has interesting add ons that change up the way she plays. Her kill rate and pick rate has dropped significantly in this most recent killer stats chart which is saddening to see.

I guess I kind of do understand why people don’t play her anymore, it’s because of the nerf that barely impacted anything except the stand still mind game. It’s been 3 months since that nerf hit live and I still am doing fine with her.

I had to post this because I don’t think I’ve seen Spirit as survivor in like a month and that’s not ok.

    LINE_P2022125_031813.jpg

Here are my stats of the games I played with Spirit so far; please enjoy. She is fun, but I really hate how IW, a totally meta perk, hard counters her kit.

  • @AngyKiller said:

Good luck trying to 12 hook with 5 minute gen speeds and the Survivors whopping 16 second-chance perks.

The MMR should drop eventually to levels, where rather new players won't know what they are doing, so that OP should be able to get a meaningful experience.

  • Another major trick for versing a killer with Pain Resonance, this one is for free from me as a killer main:

Don't trade like a mindless Lemming! For real! This might sound like a joke, but it somehow is a real problem. Every third or forth game or so I get a situation where the survivors Naruto run for the hooked person and trade places and I can reuse and reuse the Pain Resonance hook over and over again, often to the extent that Pain Resonance won't even proc anymore. It's fun and somewhat satisfying, but also so frigging dumb. You peeps will just get Pain Res nerfed to having a 30s cool down or something unfun like that, so maybe just start to not throw yourself at the hook the killer took risks to get to.

It doesn't really matter what the people in this thread think. BHVR doesn't care; they have announced facecamping will be addressed and that is that. So it's in the works; and I guarantee Bubba will be hit by it because when you think "facecamping" there is basically only 1 character that comes to mind.

The fact Bubba is braindead easy to play, and gets guaranteed kills is a problem that hopefully will be resolved. Going against a camping Bubba is literally the most boring thing there is in DBD and I will be happy to see it gone. Oh? My teammate went down in the first 30 seconds? Well I guess I just lose and hold M1 in the meantime until I get around to dying. The sooner it's gone the better lol.

And im a hardcore killer main and even I recognize how terribly designed it is. You basically only play it to grief.

Whenever you read words like "braindead" or "guaranteed xyz", you know that you are ankle deep in BS.

I would guarantee that your braindead post stems from getting rekt and facecamped and now you throw around this kind of narrative. Bubba has one problem: his kit makes him expertly suited to facecamp, which is a shame, since he is actually pretty well designed and fun to play.

But braindead? If you are brandead and don't want to facecamp, then he ain't that easy, bro. It takes some skill to navigate the maps and different loops without hitting anything. And while Bamboozle can mitigate some of his greatest weaknesses, you still have to pick your fights.

Braindead. How I hate that word. Its mostly used by people to describe their most hated aspect of the oppositions kit.

"DH is so braindead. Just press a button and gain a third health state". Guess what? If you are a bad survivor, DH won't carry you. You need to have a feeling for the flow of the game, when the killer might swing and an eye for the area. The best applications of DH are the unexpected ones that make clever use of the i-frames, distance, unexpected direction change and a vault behind you instead of in front. This takes some skill and is far from the braindead use that some killers attest to survivors.

But same goes for such "braindead" aspects of the game like Bubbas chainsaw, Spirit anf Blight power or Pinheads Engineers fang. All this options are strong, but you still need game sense and experience with your chosen killer. Nothing is just plug and play. Try for yourself how "braindead" Nurse or Bubba play. Also, don't just let 2 or 3 games be your deciding factor. Killer have different MMR. When you start a new killer, you usually crush nearly every game, till the game acknowledges that you know howcto plqy said killer and pairs you off with actually skilled survivors.

  • The truth was like a blood-red crack through my brain. Chili recipes and BBQ statistics floating in the air, glimpsed out of the corner of my eye. My eyes? Someone else eyes. I used some smart faces eyes for some time. Things looked good, made sense. I found some quiet and serenity, her smart whispers explaining the world to me and which plants to pick to enhance even my World's best Chili.

But in my sleep angry voices called out and I felt then reach out for Smarts, yanked and pulled at her, till she ripped lose and I fell into my old, ponderous self. The World closed to me once again and all the clever words drifted away, like smoke in the wind. Smoke, like Barbecue.

A new voice rose up in my mind, a dark voice, a bitter and angry voice. It scared me, so I gave in to its urges. This voice had a face, too. A strong face, the face of an athlete. But her eyes were an endless, bottomless, timelrss void. Its eyes knew a time beyond time. I don't understand this things, this concepts. It scares me even more. I wish Smarts could explain it to me, she would find the right words. But I comply, just to make her stop whispering in my ears. Athleteface, the Fogwhisperer, the voice of the Entity.

So I get back to my work. The repetitious act of hunting, of whacking then with the cattle hammer, of revving my beloved Chainsaw and get close, oh so close to them. Let them know fear, if only to drive my own fear away for another short while. Chili! I must cook chili. The World's very best even though I am missing some herbs, but that's ok, I got plenty of meat. Athleteface mocks me again. She reminds me of days of the past. My older brother taking me with him on a trip. We camped at the lake. Simpler times. Didn't I like camping, Leaderface, a timid, yet stern face suggests. He always has the best of ideas. Yes, I like camping. There is no lake in the desert, though. But I know a place that's just as cool and damp and cold as these simpler times at the river. Yes, Leaderface insinuates, bring them to the basement. Everyone will have a jolly good time. Everyone will get hooked and won't want to ever leave.

You will have to bring them all here, or it will get pretty ugly for you. You might get hurt. Your family might get hurt, whispers Survivorface. You know what needs to be done, in order to survive, right?

Survivorface. He has a kind look on his face, but his eyes, his aweful, empty eyes. Smarts would have known a clever response, but I don't. My mind is slow to react and sluggish. A slug? Somehow I smile at this. Slugs are even slower, and easy to squash. Smarts would like them to, and had a funny story about them. I'll make those survivors some big Slugs and go camping with them. Smarts would have loved that. So I grabbed my Chainsaw and went hunting.

And all the while Athleteface, Leaderface and Survivorface laughed The Entities cruel and heartless laughter, for tonight Hope went to the slaughter.

  • But lets run with this scenario: if this would hold true and survivors could not be slugged, camped, proxi-camped, tunneled, while killers could be no longer blinded, bodyblocked, pallet slammed or hook sabotaged, what would be left of the game? Would every complainer be happy then when the game only consists of doing gens and running around circles?

It really seems like people like to use the argument that a certain killer needs almost 0 skill or brain power when they don't like going against them.

To be fair, Legion's power really isn't hard to pull off though. But I don't see how Pinhead's Engineer's Fang is worse than that? Because with Pinhead you actually have to hit your chains, which isn't that easy to do.

You feel like a Big Brain Legion player, though, when you manage to do the last Legion tome challenge, ie hitting survivors 5 times with one use of Feral Franzy. Oh yeah!

  • @SOULWARRIOR71K said:

I see a lot of threads about nerfing camping and giving solo queue more information so they are closer to swfs, but I rarely see what people are willing to give killers in return. I'd love to hear your ideas (with the exception of just buffing ghostface/legion - not trying to hear that at all lol).

30s Corrupt Intervention basekit so that survivors don't jump on the first gen they see and have two pop by the time that you down the first survivor, if everything goes to plan.

Also, besides gens, this effect also protects all totems in the first 30s of the game. It aint much but might let you milk them a little bit before they get blessed.

  • While the chainhunt event is charging up the box isn't revealed to the survivors unless they are around the right part of the map, ie 24m. Thats still a big radius, but some player has to go into the general direction. If everyone is doing gens or looping around the same general vicinity, no one will find the cube till the chainhunt starts.

I think a fair nerf to Bubba would be, once you use your chainsaw, add a cooldown of 20 seconds before Bubba can revv it up again.

Are you mad? 20s? In todays meta that's half a gen that you can do nothing, but watch pesky survivors dance circles around you.

Sadly Bubbas kit works exceptionally well to facecamp, but if you don't do that, he is a pretty awesome killer that puts the fear back in survivors.

Nowadays survivors don't fear any killer anymore, have so many second chance perks that some don't know where to put them and disrespect the killer whenever possible. All this cute shenanigans don't work against Bubba, for when you joke around, you risk going down asap and unglamorous. Bubba is what all Killers should be: a menace that's dangerous to be around and whoms attention you wanna evade as much as possible, not someone whom you seek out to play around with and torment till you are bored and finish your 5th gen casually.

And because of this they hate him, for they want this last reminder of the fear of old gone. Gone and forgotten. But Bubba only smiles, revves and saws and you better stop complaining and start running.

  • @CrashMADDS13 said:

Eh, cool idea but not very feasible. I don't think AI legion members is the way to go.

I think they just need to balance frenzy to be both useful in the first injury, and still capable of downing, but in a non-oppressive and unfair way.

I'm sure there's a way to do it, maybe his speed is back to 115 while chasing an injured survivor, but maintains vaulting ability?

Let him down in frenzy if two/ three survivors are in deep wounds?

We have to be reasonable with the devs, they won't be able to magically add something new like AI legions or a clone/disguise mechanic. They need to fix frenzy into something good

Or how about this: while in frenzy you chase with 130% speed, and the survivors that you put in Deep Wound can move at 115% as long as you frenzy, till mended.

This way you can frenzy after the unwounded survivors as usual and have normal chases with the Deepwounded survivors, who can also experience the exhilarating frenzied speed.

As I stated prior. They would move around the map. As well, move like zombies and walk. They can NOT feral so no deep wounds except by the player. They would only give a killer instinct.

Or how about this: the first hit wounds you, the second hit gives you a deep wound, but they can't ever down you with their attacks, unless you let the Deepwound timer run out. This way they would be similar to the Zombies, yet different.

  • @GannTM said:

And I will never run it again, same thing I felt after running Alc Ring for the first time. My oh my was that game so unfun because of how easy it felt. This add on makes no sense whatsoever. I think I must go and play perkless Clown to make up from that.

Nah, that's just the low Cenobite MMR that you start with. Play (and win with) him a few times, and then it won't be that easy to hit survivors anymore.

The Engineers fang is very strong, because you can damage healthy survivors basically everywhere, on different floors, behind loops etc, but your manhandling potential is pretty much neutered.

And Pinheads power is problematic at the best of times. I had a match were I pretty much hit all my shots, but still gained nearly no ground, because you need to stand still in order to cast you chain.

So to call this add on "brain dead if you have the slightest clue about what you are doing" is a bit of a hyperbole.

  • There is a big section under the feedback part of the forum. Maybe give it a try?

  • All said already: people coming home from work and having some spare time play SWF with their mates, so survivor cue time increase to up to 10min. With Killers you will get 15s cues in the evening, most of the time, allowing you easily to dodge sus lobbies, of you so chose.

During the day survivor cues are much, much shorter and often nearly instantly, because the situation is flipped and a good portion of the 50/50 players play a few killer matches for dailies and tome challenges while non of their working friends are online.

So I play survivors during the day and killers at the evening / night and have the best of und cue times. Even though I am getting fed up with certain aspects of the Killer gameplay more and more.

  • New Killer: The Bloodletter

When he shanks you, you bleed out 20s faster for each hook state you got and each 20s slugged progress your hook progression by one state.

That would be fun, right? RIGHT?!

  • I wish every killer had some secondary objective/slow down, like Pinhead, to make he different experiences versing then more unique and to have something to do besides gen rushing.

This stuff could either debuff the killer, if done, or give the survivors an edge against strong killers. I don't know, sabotage the Blights alchemist tables around the map to have him use his syringe more often, destroy the Huntresses childhood memorabilia from her mother to anger her and give her shaky aim or destroy the crow nests of the Artist to give her longer cooldowns or something.

Stuff like this. Not one of my ideas is balanced or though through, this is pure brainstorming. But I love how Pinheads cube changes up the game.

  • Yeah. When I play as survivor (about 20-33% if my game time) I might try to hide and get into favorable positions, as long as other survivors are alive and kicking, but once everyone is slugged I crawl out and towards a well frequented hook, camping under it. I see no "deviance" or "honor" in grieving the killer and wasting everyone's time in the process.

Sure, you could always crawl around and look for the hatch, and I have managed to do so a few times, and there might be the clutch moment we're someone with unbreakable gets up and heals everyone in a jiffy, but this rare moments aren't worth wasting 2+ min just to spite the better player of the match. Just hook me and let us all play another round.

Matches like this are getting tiring. They see it's a Spirit and don't even try. Seriously, why queue up for survivor if you're just going to straight up ruin the fun for everyone? It's not even like my perk setup and add ons are that strong. Is it really worth DCing against Pentimento, or even a gimmicky add on like Senko Hanabi?

I love Spirit and would like to enjoy her without dealing with people like this. Please stop this madness!

Props to Ace for staying as I gave him the hatch.

BTW, as I promised in that other spirit thread of you, I played about 5 matches with her yesterday. I am not good, I mostly suck, but I can see the appeal. The survivors were probably laughing their assos off as all of their counter spirit tactics worked ^_- But we will see.

I have had a killer do this to me exactly once (Note: I started playing in Feb 2020 so the time of The Hatch Standoff I hear so much about was something I never experienced). It was a Bubba and I had two gens left to do but alas, he found the Hatch first. Then...he decided to just sit on it.

I did one gen and still he camped. So I found the gen in the middle of the map out of range of the hatch but had the strongest loop spot (the one with the tree in the middle, a pallet on one end of the long I and a window on the other end). I finished the gen, which finally got him to come after me but for reasons I still don't really get, he didn't close the hatch still. Once he committed to come after me, I lithe'd through the window, bolted right to the hatch and yeeted myself out.

No idea what that killer was thinking but who am I to judge their strategy?

Maybe he was a wholesome Bubba and wanted to give you free object points :) Or he wanted to give you an opportunity to get the Left 4 Dead achievment. Awwww, what a nice guy.

  • I like the idea. A lot !

Dinosaurs are cool :D The actual mechanics and numbers can be tweaked and whatever, but the idea is pretty solid and I think the quotes you chose and perk ideas are all pretty spot on.

I like the survivors version of "Leathal Pursuer" and clever girl would make anyone doing one of the fidly tasks look over their shoulder constantly. The timer is short, but you only need one swipe of your claws from the shadow.

  • @Rivyn said:

I still just don't understand why the allow boons to be relit indefinitely. That is the biggest issue with them, as there is no 'high risk, high reward' for using them. Tweak all the numbers you want, but at the end of the day, when you can have boons up all match, spread across four survivors, it isn't going to mean much.

If I recall correctly it got something to do with the "give survivors another objective besides doing gens" thing. They fear that things are good now, and survivors spend a good amount of time blessing and doing totems that could be spend on just popping some gens faster and if Boons could be destroyed that the perk would see less and less play. Some players also stated exactly that, something along the lines of "lol no! If boons could be destroyed this could leave me with only three perks midgame. I wouldnt play boons then!", which is quite the double standard, as even rather tame Hex perks have had this "high risk, high reward" mentality attached to themselves for years and everyone knows about it.

The other (in my view rather weak) argument is something like this: "boons are balanced arount this concept. Please stop to compare boons to hexes. Both might coincidently use totems as their vehicle, but besides the mechanics are totally different and they don't have ANYTHING similar about each other, so stop making this comparison and say that they should be destroyable". I mean, in my pov you need to be rather blind, most likely intentionally in order to honestly believe that. Boons are very clearly designed as "Hexes for survivors", yet they play at a much more forgiving and watered down rule set.

Lastly people like to say "Yeah, fine! But then let the killers having to light their Hexes up, wasting 12s for each!!!11". This mostly comes from survivor players who have no idea how tight time management for killers is. In a 1v4 the 1 person cant just AFK out for so long, this would be tandamount to handling the game to the survivors.

Right now Boons are very strong and put a lot of stress and pressure on the shoulders of the already stressed and pressured killer role in a way that just feels a bit too frustrating. And the bandaid BHVR slapped on it didn't even stop the bleeding, yet alone help the thing heal.

Soul guard is so underrated... It is actually the main reason I run iron grasp/agitation. I respect it THAT much. But yeah, I get why people dodge them. I just don't bother because of what OP said, you just backfill into another one and I do not have the patience for that myself. I came from Overwatch to dodge long queues, I am basically allergic to them to the point where I didn't even want to do my survivor daily at all into being a survivor main during the day. I am that committed to the cause. I hate survivor mains with ever fiber of my being and even I have become one... I have no morals.

Its kinda the same for me: for the longest time I would always reroll survivor dailies, but now I started to do actual survivor games during the day, and I am even enjoying it! Madness...

But the difference between me and most other survivors is, that I don't BM the killer, unless they are total douches, and I even gave a few mercy hooks when the survivor team was totally dominating and crushing the killer.

But I am still bored by the fact that survivors are basically just skins once you reach level 40 with them. This is so much wasted potential and they should give them more identity.

Back to topic: I dodge twitch groups sometimes, too, but about 50/50 I give the challenge a go. A lot of twitch swf groups are totally sweat and bully squads, but sometimes its just the different gaming perspective. I had a twitch SWF group once that run circles around me and gave me an extra hard time, so that the game wasn't very fun for me. I later looked up that stream and they were actually pretty nice people and didn't badmouth me at all or something. I just had the misfortune to chose the two competent members of the team for my chases, while the two others were scared shirtless everytime they got so much as a whiff of my terror radius. So the mean sweat squad could be just some normal dudes, killing a few hours.

I do it to keep your attention on me and not the other survivors who might suck at looping. Nothing like a slugfest when the killer finds out that the rest suck at the game lol.

I know. And thats why I 98% of the time outright ignore the feisty clicker. Bonus points if they follow you around and desperately try to get your attention, thereby doing no gens. They might interfere with a pickup here and there, but thats still better then having them doing gens. Sometimes you get honest to god salt from these survivors who got the feeling that not chasing them is somehow toxic

The devs have said previously they want to discourage actual facecamping but haven’t found a solution they like. They don’t think tunneling someone right off a hook is unsportsmanlike or anything like that but they do probably want to incentivize spreading out the downs a bit so all the players stay in the game as long as possible.

Maybe some basekit gen slowdown, 1% per hook, could do the trick.

  • Actually, if you couldn't use it to bodyblock, then I wouldn't mind a basekit BT at all. Getting tunneled off the hock without any chance at all, like at least trying a vault or a loop, really feels aweful. But as always, you can't have nice things without someone trying to exploit it. The original idea behind BT is that you can savely get away from an unsave unhooking. But todays reality is that survivors are ultra bolt and brazen with their unsave unhooks, knowing that the unhooked survivor can bodyblock and cover for the other one, thereby minimisizing the risk to super low levels.

I really hope that they figure something out, buuut we will see.

  • So remind me again, what happens if you dont have any system in place, at all? Everyone gets mixed in with everyone else, even 3k+ hours and baby players, right? But are there that many high end players? I know that the game is 6ys old by now and has a big playerbase (some would say it had), but are there that many thousands of hour players in relation to mid- and low-level players?

In what way couldn't you pick the survivor up? Was there never any prompt to pick up? Did you open the locker instead of picking up? Did you try turning your back to the locker when picking up?

Yeah, there never was even a prompt to pick them up. Sadly I forgot to make pictures of that. I mean I had several minutes time to try it out, but I walked all around, looked in all different directions and orientations and never once did the pick up promt appear. All I could do was open and close the locker repeatedly.

That the survivor jumped into that locker repreatedly and tried to get my attention might indicate that they knew about this bug or somehow had means to provoce this situation.

Solo queue can't counter it efficiently due to lack of communication.

Yeah, but in solo Q you can just chose to be the dedicated totem buster and BAM instand better experience.

  • It is, but it is also a crutch for a lot of people. There is a high skill ceiling for DH, but even low tier players can get a lot of use out of it, prolong chases that should have ended much sooner and get out of really sticky situations from which they shouldn't have recovered.

  • @gilgamer said:

Because it's not fun to play against and it's not even that powerful of a perk, it's just a low skill crutch similar to self care, not good but a lot of people use it cause it feels good to use when you are first starting out.

Just like DH, this is a never ending circle.

One could hope, never completed almost any of the archive challenges that involved grabs because of it.

Become a friendly killer for one match and farm with the survivors, then just grab them off gens and let them wiggle out again. Rinse, repeat.

    Oh god. Flashbacks.

I had one team that literally had 2 people 99 hooks and 2 stack gens to 99 them. The second I downed someone and headed towards a hook: Broken. Next hook: Broken. Next hook: Broken. Wriggle free.

They would lead any chase towards 99 hooks so I had no choice but to watch the 3 closest hooks drop every time I downed someone.

After it happened four times; I'm ashamed to admit that I ragequit. It was clear they were going to just milk my misery instead of trying to win, and could pop gens the second it looked like they were going to lose. I lacked the skill to counter it and I was not going to suffer for an hour for them to have something to get their jollies off on. 😕

Oof. And naive, innocent me pondered for a moment how you might 99 a hook in order to kill a survivor the instant he went there. They sounds like hell. I find it already stressing and oppressive when a survivor runs to tune hook In heading to amd couches, but at least that puts them in harms way and they aren't doing any gens im that time.

Normally I don't mind that, as I think "you cant hate everything, just because it's out of your comfort zone and a little bit different from the usual gameplay loop" (btw, does this sound familiar? "Nerf Spirit, my usual tricks don't work". "Nerf tombstone Myers, my usual tricks don't work" etc. Differences, even when sometimes aggregating, keep the game fresh, that's why I think DH as the supreme be all-end all exhaustion perk needs to change), but every now and then you have that one game, where this one survivor has an uncanny knack for always being there, sabotaging your every hook, and dayum does it rile me up :D

But all in all sabotaging is fine and needs a lot of skill, finesse and situational awareness to pull off.
