  • Hello everyone, as we all love to crunsh data, here is my Milestone progression. I haven't played too much DBD this last month, with Expedition 33 dropping and the Illumante attack on Earth on Helldivers, but still enough to nearly fill out my 100 completed trials, and I figured that the 99/100 trials was the best spot to take a screenshot, as at 100/10

  • For real - I don't really know how I ended up in this situation exactly, but lets say, that I am a little bit miffed! Pfff…

  • For real, had a match with Clown earlier tonight and my main plan was to equip Surge and get that 8 damaged gens tome challenge done in a jiffy. Well, RNG brought us to Eiry and the game lasted 8:30min with 3 hooks. Those survivors were cracked and out for blood! But 8:30min … oof, should a Clown match be that short? Well, the next match brought us to the Yamaoka family estate and even though th

  • No, for real, why shouldn't we make Slug Races at the exit gate into a full on feature? I don't know, if a slugged survivor arrives at the Exit gate, they can interact with it and get "ready". Once all survivors either crossed the line running or entered ready state, the EGC stops and the killer can then "Start" the race by swinging once inside the exit gate area. The survivors get skill checks w

  • Hello everyone, I know that we have a Bug Report section, but its nearly a week already, so I just want to test the waters here. Since Monday I can't play DBD due to EAC glitching and crashing my PCs explorer. When I start DBD, after the splashwindow showcasing Soma and Dracula from the new rift finishs loading, nothing happens. I have waited for up to 15min. During this time the PC works mostl

  • Lets get straight to the point: I played quite some time with Machine Learning after the recent buff and it was a lot of fun, because it brought something new to the playing area. Lets face it: this buff was not a buff, but an essential necessity! Before the perk was so unbelievable cumbersome to use, with the two kicks and you really needed to double plan which gen you actually wanted to kick.

  • I just want to talk about the cutest thing that I probably ever experienced in the game. A couple of days ago I had a streak of REALLY tough games, it was basically SWF death squad into SWF seal team 6 into SWF bully squad into SWF death squad again and I was feeling really unhinged. The next game MMR fluked completely or threw me a bone, I don't know, but the survivors were no prepared for all

  • Hello everyone, during my boring nightshift I was once again hit by mad genius and want to share my newist idea with you all. What if we got a new perk class called Augmentation perks? This alone do nothing, but they augment other perks in the loadout and enhance them with new effects; a bit like Leathal Pursuer or Eyes of Belmont by giving aura reading +2s. The first one I came up with (and wh

  • I love playing Pig with Amandas Letter. I think its so much fun to see where the survivors are, plan your approach an then zooooooom in and hopefully peel a clueless survivor off of a gen. But my slim stocks of Amandas Letters are getting thinner and thinner so I had an idea: why not make this playstyle part of her general playstyle? It would give her so many interesting new options and a cool

  • Lets face it, some nerfs to some perks are a product of their time and the meta in which they lived, and sometimes the game changes so much, that the original situation that warranted this changes no longer exists, making this changes no longer feasable. Sloppy Butcher feels like such a perk: in todays meta it feels like it serves no purpose anymore and it feels like it exists in a limbo, where

  • Hello everyone. Yeah, I am talking about every killers favorite Scourge Hook, because it is one of the last truly effective gen regression perks left. In the past PainRes could be really nutty when the killer got favored by RNG and got a Scourge Hook right in the middle of the map, easily accessible and the survivors decided to trade hooks. Back then the regression was "just 15%", but it was

  • Yeah, I know, this has been a hot topic for ever. I am firmly in the boat that map offerings are used 97% of the time to gain a rather sizable and unfair advantage on the killer, either by the survivors knowing pretty well that they will be going to a survivor sided map, or even finetuning their builds specifically for that upcoming match and map. The smallest number of players use map offerings

  • Yeah, we are now living in the age of this time-limited modes with big, phat mutators, be it little Oni or lightsout. The PTB with the Sudden Death Mori and unlimited Unbreakable for survivors was a desaster and the base game would break under its stress, BUT it would be perfect for a time-limited mode! You already got all the code for this, people know what to expect. It isnt balanaced, but tha

  • Just a short feedback to some old ideas: every single time some survivor uses their SINGLE USE Unbreakable, it basically ALWAYS changes the course of the game dramatically, most often even taking a sure win and throwing it under the table. One. Singleuse. Unbreakable. To this day I can't fathom that we had an actual PTB entertaining the idea of giving unlimited Unbreakables to survivors, regard

  • There, I said it. Well, maybe not in its fully glitched form, but find a way to implement it, its just too funny. Maybe the Oroboros worms weigh the survivors down and bind them, so that they neetly bend backwards. Truth be told, it doesn't take much for us to suspend disbeliebe, if that means that we can skate around the maps of the realms with style and rizz. Also, Wesker should hand out kewl

  • Yeah, its kinda in the titel. In the past I sometimes would slug the last two survivors, when they went down in deadzones and try to coax them to crawl towards a hook or bleed out. A surprisingly large number opted to crawl into a comp corner, just to spite me. Well, I had at least three games yesterday, where I was already on the verge to do so, but when I looked around, the nearest hook had re

  • Titel says it all. A Darth Vader legendary skin for Pyramid Head might just work. He shouldn't be dragging his lightsaber through the mud, but in a casual backhand downward hold. The M2 could be a force shockwave or throwing the saber.

  • Hello everyone, in one of the other threads we talked about Distortion, Lightborn and some other stuff. Distortion these days gets a lot of flak by killers who got all their aura reading perks countered by one perk, and often Distortion users are very immersive and not very helpful to their team. The one fact thats odd about Distortion is constantly recharging while in the killers terror radius

  • Hello everyone. So, Left Behind is a very selfish perk, it shows the aura of the hatch, giving you a legs up in the desparate race for the hatch, but this perk activating also means that everyone else is dead. The perk has a bad reputation, because certain survivors try to escape through hatch in order to get their tome challenges done and in doing so they sandbag and sabotage their team. So he

  • Hello everyone, yeah, like the titel says it: why is Hex: Two can play actually a hex perk? Its condition is that if the killer gets stunned or blinded 4/3/2 times, one totem lights up and becomes this Hex. While it is lid a survivor who blinds the killer becomes blinded themselves for 1.5s Its a very fun perk to use, but its effect is also very weak and not worth the opportunity cost of it ge

  • While killers are in a pretty good spot at the moment, toxic behaviour of the other side will always be a way to curb the excitement and fun of the game. Every killer beyond their 3rd game know the painful conondrum of waiting for the egc timer to fill up, or face the survivors waiting at the exit gate, twerking at you, giving you a light show and rubbing it in that you failed to hook and kill th

  • Hello everyone, Just some food for thoughts. Maybe this is the Scott Jund effect, but these past couple of games a lot of survivors ads giving up on purpose against even the slightest of controversial killers, ie I had this effect with Knight, Skull Merchant and, of course, Chunky. People also seem to feel the impact the MFT stranglehold being broken and trash loops being trash again and not

  • Hello everyone. Well, since bots are in the game we all have had out moments with them, some hillarious, some furstrating, some just insane. But its apparent that bots are very, very predictable and often very frustrating for both sides. They mostly value their own life and wellbeing over flesh and blood survivors, miss half a dozen skill checks in a row, fast vault random windows and hide in a

  • Please BHVR, this is an honest plead. Just stop the endless cycle of sweating and double punishment for being matched with a superiour opponent and do away with this antiquated mechanic. Double the pips needed to pip up, but make it so that you can only de-pip by DCing and the game will be much more fun for everyone. I gurantee it. And you will probably see less camping and tunneling, then any

  • Hello everyone, and yeah, I am serious. I know that it is an unpopular opinion, but splitting up on gens is way too efficient these days with all the ways the killers repertoire has been shrunk and dumbed down. We lost hook grabs, facecamping and face with survivor basekit BT. All in all this is okay, I support this kind of change, but at least for me, I am reaching my limits, tbh. Over half o

  • Hello everyone! Today I uploaded a whole bunch of matches to Nightlight, I was really lazy in doing so in the last couple of month. My stats are slightly biased, as I mostly play killers, and when I play survivors I tend to not record every match, as I want to click "next game" when I die early. Also, sometimes when I get stomped as a killer I sometimes just click "next", instead of getting red

  • Titel says it all. In theory Ghostface should be something like Myers with individual stalk and unlimited stalking juice, but in practis I can't get anything done, without survivors knocking me out of stealth, like literally. It doesn't matter if I stalk them around a corner from 5 or 20m away, they invariable look at me and knock me out of stealth. Part of this must be lack of experience with

  • Hello everyone, well, this is just a quick fix, but certain maps make reading auras very, very hard due to the basic color scheme of the map, most prominently Borgo, the Cornfield maps or the Eyrie. The gens or survivors auras bleed into the suroundings and can very easily be missed. So, one very easy fix: just give all the red auras a black border, just like they do with subtitles. This way ev

  • Hello everyone. So, one of my favorite niche and underused perks is Aftercare. It provides some really nice, constant info and really gives everyone a tangible efficiency boost during the lated parts of the trial, when you got a really good idea what's going on ... until you get hit and it gets all taken away in one fell swing of the blade/club/claw. And here lies the double crux of the perk:

  • This is my regular reminder to abandon the de-pipping mechanic. For a really long time now grades serve no real purpose, not even bragging rights. In theory they only measure some kind of activity in the game and award active players with up to 2million BP per month, but they are still gated behind a grueling grind and some of the most frustrating and salt inducing mechanics in the game. My solu

  • Here is something fun that I am working at at the moment. I wanna catch them all! So far I got Meg, Claudette, Quentin (thats a rare one!), Kate, David, Yui (the newest edition), Leon, Mikaela and Thalita. I got a couple more run through by Pyramid Chads sword, but I eventually settled with the pose of him holding the survivors high up in the sky. You ca

  • Hello my friends, the second Haddie master challenge on the 4th tome page got changed to "Stun or blind the killer 4 times. Complete this in a single trial." This might sound daunting at first, especially if your killers tend to respect paletts and not fall for the classic stuns (and the killswitched Flashlights don't allow for easy blinds after a stun, but theoretically you should equip one for

  • Hello, well, there are a lot of these, even though decidedly less then the ones calling for killswitching her. So while musing about the whole Skull Merchant issue, I came up with an idea. I think the concept of the stationary drones that expose survivors isn't a very exciting one. Besides the obvious problem, ie that it lends itself to 3-gening, its also quite rare to actually expose survivors

  • I don't know what it is, in theory you should only slow down a bit more after missing, but lately survivors dodge nearly all my tail attacks, if they aren't animationlocked in a vault or climb, they just move deftly to the side and avoid the tail, no problem at all. It no longer feels any different then Nemesis tentacle or Huntresses hatchets, with the caveat that they can relatively easily can

  • Hello everyone! The titel already spoiled it, but rest assured, its not some big beef I am cooking here. • Hello everyone, I don't want to make a big wave, but yesterday, when soloQ-ing, I got thrown as obvious backfill into a group of three survivors who had all already readied up. We were thrown into RPD and encountered a Nemesis; I am not the best survivor, as I am more of a killer main with probably a 70/30 split in favor of killer, but most of the time I can at least pull my weight. Well, I got

  • Woah, woah, woah, lower that pitchfork and hear me out, its really not that bad. Pain Resonance was an instant killer favorite since its inception, because it allowed quick gen regression on the fly, no need to stop and kick a gen, do some good regression while doing your normal objective. It was slightly held in check by virtue of being a scourge hook and thus RNG dependant, but overall it was

  • Map offerings are the bane of this games existence. Sure, maybe 2% use them, just because they want to see some specific map, but 98+% do so, because they got a specific plan, and of this its 95% survivors, either sending the killer to Borgo, Garden of Joy or the Game, or to the McMillan estates, because they got a tormentor build. So, three solutions: 1) remove them 2) invert them, ie burnin

  • Hello everyone, so, right now there is a lot of buzz and talk about Sadako. Many comment that the changes went in a really good direction and give her a much bigger presence on the trial ... but she also suffers a lot from some of the changes, namely the way the cursed tapes are no longer cursed, but actually lucky charms and talismans. You can't give her too much of a leg up or she will end up

  • Hello everyone, well, I guess that we can all agree, that Boons and Hexes are in a pretty rough spot right now. The tagline for Hexes, "high risk, high reward" aged like old milk and no matter of additional totem spots will really fix the game knowledge, thats now established in the community and most totems will be casually found within 1min of the game starting, barely giving any value to the

Many players express the utter frustration of being one pip away fr

With the whombo combo of Nemesis+GameAfoot I actually managed to kill 3 obsessions in one game, but I bet it wasn't much fun for the survivors, because it involved some tunneling and in the later stages slugging till the obsession died and then making the last survivor the obsessio

  • Hello everyone, I have a fun killer perk idea that kinda evokes the feeling of adrenalin, ie adding some more fun and zest at the cusp of winning. Malicious Comeback: When the last gen gets repaired, one previous repaired gen springs back to 50% and all gens that are currently being worked at jump down to 50% if they have been repaired higher then this. The idea is to play with one less perk
