I wouldn't really care for this chapter, but it seems to me that it'll be Friday The 13th.

I said before that only F13, FNAF and Alien seem big enough to be the event chapter now. Anything else will surely be a massive down grade.

And Bioshock; lets not forget the pipedream of Bioshock. Gosh, Big Daddy Killer with a meaty drill and some obession mechanic that let you switch over to red lights and an awesome Rupture map in all its rotten glory. Jack or Booker would be some nice survivors, too. Elizabeth would be cute as heck, but I wouldn't want to see her dimensional powers diminished to a "Boon: Supply Crate", even though I could somehow see it.

Another fun idea could be "Boon: Alternative Timeline" which would make breakable walls and dropped/broken pallets phase back and forth between their two states or going even wilder and switch around the variable setups of the map within the Boons area constantly.

This post actually hurts my heart to hear you say you're leaving the forums and it hurts me even more because I just read your reply to my comment in your Nemesis post and I feel like I was part of the problem. I want you to know, my intention was not to hurt you at all and I only had good intentions with my comment. I just phrased it so so badly that it came off as an insult and an attack instead of helpful. I personally feel like @Akumakaji has done a much better job in this post then I did. I hope you can see this as an apology and I hope you can accept it whether or not I was part of the problem.

If you still choose to leave the forums, I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you, mate! I appreciate that and am trying my best to make the best out of the situation at hand. Maybe we can work something out and help @douggie123 here together?

  • But Mag has The Pig mask, right? So we all know that Meg is evil and will eventually fall to The Entity. I believe this is her origin story.

    B. Approach the woman. But I also somewhat absent-mindedly stroke my right wrist and freeze ... whats that odd shape under my sweater? Is that ... a spring knive?!?

  • I don't know, I read a lot that killers have problems with this maps, yet I am doing exeptional well on the Eiry. Yes, it feels big and there are some good loops that flow into each other, but its also bright as day and you have this long, straight sightlines, that make it quite hard to for survivors to stay really hidden. You can also spot Crows from half the map away and can literally see from the long sides to the other side, as the map is that narrow.

People also say that the main building is that strong, but I somehow catch a lot of survivors, there. The whole upstair region has just one pallet, and once thats gone survivors without balanced landing are dead meat. On the wall next to the basement stairs is a breakable wall that should go down asap, and will help a lot with chases along that side of the main building.

So all in all I don't get it why this map is considered to be so massively favoring survivors?

Which killer and perks? I only did 1/5 I think when I was super new.

I got one with Doctor, one with Wraith and one with Demogorgon.

I think I used whatever I got at my hand, but it was something like "Whispers", "Sloppy Butcher" and "NOED". You really need to know your game, as your perks most definitely won't carry you, only giving you a small edge.

My biggest surprise was the merciless victory with the Demogorgon, I barely got 3 general perks with him and used a yellow NOED, yellow Relentless and green Sloppy Butcher. I am not sure if you can use Demogorgons own perks. In the Demogorgons description you can't see his teachables, but instead have some text stating that his perks have moved into the general usage pool. But when you look at the individual perks description (Jolt, for example) it still reads "Rare Demogorgon perk". Using his perks would help a lot with this challenge, but I am too sissy to try them out, sweat to get a merciless victory and then not getting the achievment ^^

But you know what? I will try it out tomorrow and equip Fearmonger, Jolt and Whisper and see if this will satisfy the Tools of the Trade requirements.

  • For real. I rewatched the whole series in preparation for season 4 and to get into the mindset of the Demogorgon, and it most definitely is an excelent series. It got its flaws, like every show, but its a lot of fun.

People could have asked me what happened instead of negative comments. I don't always write good stuff but most of my comments on the other posts forums I try my hardest to be positive. My learning difficulties are miles long in in extensivity. Cos I got them severely. I don't mess with people I'm not a vindictive person. Sorry if it sounds like that but it's not the case

Okay, you convinced me that you aren't trolling. So why not try one more time? The next time you wanna rant, think about it and write at least 3 paragraphes, each 2-5 sentences long. In the last paragraph try to reflect on why your opposition behaved in such a despicable and unfun way and try to think of a solution. Lets see how the people of the forums will react to that.

  • I got my third Merciless rating while using the most crappy builds. I got to play more sweaty, even though some smol remnant of humanity in me is screaming in agony. It hopefully will be all over soon, but will it be worth it, in the end? There are a lot of achievments that under 1.5% of the playerbase got, so why try so hard and thereby let The Entity get a foothold in my soul? But oh, its showing me such beautiful sights, such sweet survivor screams. Caming is relaxing and soothing the mind, isn`t it? Isnt this something that humans do? But why do I still know that its wrong?

There are smaller posts that get more positive comments than mine. So please explain how it's going to change

I don't have another example right now, besides your Nemesis post from just a short while ago. It was very short and very accusating. What should anyone make of that post of yours, besides giving you some snarky or snide responses? You didn't give any insight on what exactly happened in your matches, but just gave a blanked accusation at all Nemesis players (and sorta killers in general).

This is a prime example of how NOT to get any sympathy of the killer population. At best you will be ignored, at medium get a sarcastic response, at the most probably getting laughed at.

But really, anyone should be at least that much in touch with the human side, so I don't honestly know if this is part of your learning difficulty, or if you are just trolling and playing with my altruism, trying to help you. I gave you some advice, why not try to act on it, instead of looking for further excuses why everyone else is bad and trying to hurt you?

Never gonna happen. I have learning difficulties and never learn and it's something I cannot stop. Half the time I come to the forums to release anger sometimes but to be heckled and more or laughed at then that's beyond a joke. Nothing I have ever said in this forum has been able to spawn a positive discussion. A lot of people are too much in their own ways on these forums to be positive.

I am sad to hear that, but for real: thats quite some attitude. I (just some random dude on the internet, but still ^^) gave you some pretty solid tips, like writing longer and more engaging posts, but you seem to want nothing to hear about it. I still stand by my words: try it out and write a longer paragraph that goes beyong "hur dur this bad, every XYZ-Players are jerks!!11" and see for yourself if you will only reap negative results, or if something changes.

I bet that even you, no matter your learning difficulties, can do better and change for the better. :)

If you and your SWF team has just crushed a killer's hopes and dreams, stunned them with every pallet, and cleansed their totems are the very start of the match, don't sit together at the exit gates and stare at the killer/teabag/emote/heal/etc. Just. Leave. Plain and simple. You earned your escape, well done, but there's no need to rub it in someone's face that they didn't preform well.

When I preform very well against survivors, I feel bad for them, and consciously avoid tunneling, camping, even something giving survivors extra chances by just downing them, but letting their teammates heal them.

There just seems to be this consistency in the community that killers who dominate survivors go out of their way to be nice in ways that they can, but when survivors dominate killers they can't wait to hit crouch 4000x times, or stare at you like a group of meerkats. It just leaves a bad taste, and sometimes really infuriates me as killer. You're also not doing your fellow survivors any favours in my next game where I'm going in with the mindset that all survivors are trolls, and decide that I'm not going to do the aforementioned nice things that I could do as killer.

I understand that the whole David vs. Goliath situation makes a survivor win feel that much more accomplished, but I don't think I'd have to read a history book to know that David didn't teabag Goliath when he killed him.

This issue has been especially prevalent in the recent Bloodrush event, in that a lot of people seem to be sweating. As I said, I try to extend the game any way I can, like downing and leaving a survivor to be healed, so that we can all get a nice share of BP together. Yet, survivors tend to forget this and prefer to taunt killers to their wit's end, despite having just dominate the trial against them.

Bottom line, grow up. We're sick of your s***

    Very well put.

I have said it a few times, and I will say it again: Killers are the more altruistic factions of the two. The altruism between the factions is the only real and pure altruism, because you get no in-game reward for it, but quite on the contrary, even reduce your actual reward for the round.

If a killer totally dominates and crushes the survivors, it is quite often, sometimes even expected, that the killer shows some pity and gives the last one the hatch, at least if thes did't play like total douches all game.

The altruism that flows from the survivors towards the killer is much, much rarer, though, and in my 400h+ I only encountered 4 seperate instances of Survivor-Killer-Altruism.

    1) First one was Oni on Haddonfield. I had a few bad matches, and then playing Haddonfield literally broke me for the night. So after three or four gens flying bye with survivors just occasionally flitting over the street, I just gave up and stood there on the street. After a minute or so survivors noticed and cautiously approached me. I even turned to look at them, but didnt't give chase, why bother? But then one after another they all gived me their items and lay them in front of me. After that I chased them a bit around, and we even had a little turn-around dance in front of the exit gate. We then waved each other good bye and I felt much better.

    2) My second one was very impactful for me and on Gas Heaven. The survivors totally dominated and crushed me, and even though I purposefully didn't go for the unhooked survivors, t-bagging and clickety clicking was my only reward. Until the exit gates opened and a Claudette, who I spared earlier, apporached me. She would then walk over to a hook and wave at me, giving me my very first mercy hook. I was so touched and we are now steam friends.

    3) The third was on one of the Forest maps. After getting crushed and run circled around by the survivors, and bad mannered by a few, I just gave up. A Nancy noticed, and took a long look at me, before she zoomed off. When the exit gates opened the Nancy returned, with her SWF Jeff in tow, and both of them game me a mercy sacrifice. They wouldn't move to the exit gate, even after two hooks I motioned over there.

    4) The last one was on Grim Pantry. I had a bad day and nothing was going my way, even though it wasn't the survivors fault. Just when the last gen popped I finally downed a Feng, actually my very first down that trial. And while she lay there in front of me, I thought "Ah well, everyone played really good this match, but now we will have this ugly camping for that one kill and they will probably still all escape. F-that" and so I picked her up and hauled her over to the exit gate, where I dropped her down and opened the gate myself.

The other survivors kinda panicked and run away in all directions... all save on Jeff, who had a certain divine quality, with his long hair and serene face. He approached me without fear and looked me in the eye. He then healed the Feng and walked over to a hook, giving me a mercy hook. Some of the other survivors unhooked him, but he wouldn't budge and stubornly give me a mercy sacrifice. What a man!

So the altruism towards killers exists, but its very rare and I am sure that a lot of survivor players wouldn't even think about it in their wildest dreams, its just that alien a concept to most. But every single one of this instanced burned itself into my mind and left a lasting impression, helping in mending the rift between survivors and me, the killer. I am much more inclinded to give a mercy hatch now, and even let two survivors escape, when I totally dominated the round. A bit less vitriol would do us all good.

Quite literally yes. Thats Red Rank Killer meta right now.

    Lovely :<

  • I'm sad to hear that :<

If the negativity is pulling you down, then yes, its the best to move on.

But I commented to you on your recent Nemesis rant, and I got to say that your opening comment didn't leave much open to discussion, going in depth or banter back and forth.

You can't expect to get awesome replies to a one line rant, so please don't take this criticism too harshly: maybe you should work on your communication skills or if that's not tube problem, at least write a paragraph or two, each consisting of 2-5 sentences. THIS would give your posts some meat to dig in, otherwise its no surprise that a lot of people don't give it a lot of thought and effort, because you apparently didn't either.

But in the end I would love to see you succeed and get better at all of this: not just playing, killing and surviving, but also the communicative aspect and spawn interesting discussions.

This seems like an over the top type of thing that people would love, that would be a simple addition. Instead of the mori angle you'd get the actual angle from the POV of the camera, all the players could then view it in the post game chat and download it if they wanted.

Face camping at 5 gens, fair enough that would get frustrating

but given the current state of killer you can’t get mad at someone for tunnelling, not with CoH, lightning fast gens, DH pretty much being base kit and all the other second chance perks

it’s sad but it seems like playing nice in this game is a thing of the past, you try playing killer and 2 hooking everyone before killing anyone. You’ll be greeted to a 4 man escape and a cheeky tea bag/ clicky click at the exit gate pretty much every game

unfortunately tunnelling is the most efficient way to play killer, and often times necessary if you want to secure at least one kill before the final gen pops

For real :( I normally try to play by the book, but after two very sweaty groups with subpar return for my burned BPS I said "f-it!" and tunneled the first player I met out of the game. Hard. Even though there was a very good other player in the survivors team, who tried her best with flashlights, bodyblocking and buying time for sabotages, the match became that much more manageable, and I therefore chilled, then all the other matches I had that day.

So is this the armes race conclusion? Tunnel one player out asap, just so that you can have a "normal" game afterwards? This would still sour the mood for the other survivors and possible mine, too.

Is there any posts I put which anybody gonna put a positive comment to or is it just all negative

The tone and complexity and in depth of your post didn't warrant much to take it seriously or give you an expansive response.

  • @dugman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2753059#Comment_2753059

Actually I’m the opposite, if I realize a survivor is probably a strong runner who likes to get to strong tiles I’ll try and switch to a weaker survivor instead and save the strong one for later after I get a kill or two. It’s much more efficient to pressure a strong runner once you take out their support.

THIS. Some survivors, who know how to loop extremely well, take on the role of the "designated harasser", as I call them. They will try to get the killers attention and waste as much of their time as possible. Bonus points if they directly run to you from the start and flashlight clickety click at you with a macro. The best way to deal with them is to just ignore them. Chances are that getting looped was their entire game-plan and they might hover around, trying to get your attention or be ready to flashlight save when you focus on and down someone else. If they can't shift gears, this already makes the game much more easy for you, as only two other survivors will be doing gens.

The other game I had a Claudette who was exectly like this and who tried so hard to get my attention. I didn't tunnel or camp that game, but I purosefully ignored her all game, besides the few interactions at an unhooking event, but even there I never followed her. Eventually I got everyone else hooked and chased her through the empty wasteland and eventually cornered her, getting a 4K. She was surprisingly nice and we talked a bit in the endgame chat. She told me that she exclusively plays survivor and actually wants to get chased, as thats the most fun part for her, while I countered that I noticed her skill and eagerness to get chases right away and suspected her to be about 3x as good as I am.

We exchanged a few more tips and went out seperate ways, but that was one of the nicest interactions I ever had in the after game chat. Back to OPs problem: both, the Power Moves and the Tools of the Trade achievments are a pain in the butt to get. Not because of the exercise itself, which is already hard enough, but because the current toxicity in the game. I am trying to get Tools of the Trade myself right now (and even started a thread talking about my experiences in a humorous way), and it really made me play the hardest, sweatiest and uncoolest I ever did. Without any of my favorite perks I have to rely on tunneling and singeling out the weak link, and that for at least 5 crushing victories :V not cool. It makes me feel really bad some times, but what ya gonna do? Power Moves at least lets you play the game and teaches you a lot about the fundamentals of the game, without relying on any crutches at all, but its often quite disheartening to play quite well all game, only to get sacrificed by a disgruntled killer at the last gen.

  • @ChurchofPig said:

I honestly really love this post. It does take playing both sides to truly understand what each side goes through and why they make the arguments and complaints that they do. I think playing both sides does also help with understanding where the balance of this game lies. I'm glad to see that when you decided to come back you decided to give the other side you don't generally play a shot. Not everyone does what you did and they really should.

Perspective really helps. I started playing some survivor games every day, even though I am a totally killer main, and it opened my eyes to some of the survivor problems.

I took lots of notes during my last games, and the most popular survivor perks are (to no surprise) DH and BT. DH needs some more tooling, as its way too versatile and easily utilized, compared to the other exhaustion perks, while I wouldn't mind if a minor version of BT was basekit for survivors, because getting tunneld off the hook, with no chance whatsoever to do anything against it, feels truly aweful. Offensive use of BT (bodyblocking, sandbagging) shouldn't be possible as basekit, though, and probably shouldn't be possible at all.

  • @Nickeleye said:

Instead of rework, maybe just have it limited to twice a game.

Get a token every time you repair a gen. Each token let's you DH once. That would still make it better then Coup de grace since you can't chose not to activate it.

  • When I leveled up my Pyramid Head I had a blast during P0-P2. But once I got to P3 I wouldn't get ANY of the perks I loved to use on him.

I didn't get the first of my usual perks once I finished my 6th bloodweb beyond lvl 50. It was beyond ridiculous.

  • When Legion actives the power give us 3 other members with Nemesis-Zombie AI, 130% speed and deep wound appliance.

Nah, I love it. It adds to the thrill, that is all they have, and you can take it easily. But your all out of gum.

Oh awesome. A Duke Nukem reference. Haven't heared one of those in ages.

Never bring a party streamer, Akuma. They aren't worth it. Survivor pudding only. Those streamers should rot in your inventory, never to see the light of day. Only in your most desperate moment should you even consider forfeiting your dignity and help the survivor mains as collateral damage to your own greed.

But. But. But... I want to break this never ending circle of hate and toxicity. Somehow. Anyhow. The survivors can see that I brought the party streamers in the pre-match screen, right? So they should take note and play a game were everyone walks home with their pockets overflowing with BP. But oh harsh reality, why you taste like ash?

  • For real. I tried to make a change by playing chill and be bringing bloody party streamers for everyone to enjoy, but the number of Sweat Squads is too damn high.

  • I think this is how things should actually be working, tbh. Making it a future Hex would make it one of this specialized perks that hardly ever see usage or this idea that people throw around with the exit doors.

"Let's make a perk that's like Ruin, but for exit doors!" sounds okay-ish in concept, but would you actually equip a perk just for this effect? Instead of running anything else? I know that I wouldn't, and same about a Hex that let's other hexes override Boons, if a boon were the only available totem on the map .

  • I really love Pinheads style, he just oozes power and control... two things you have to work really hard for to wrestle from the players.

His build in slowdown is pretty cool, but his active power is really weird. I don't know, I had this one game om Disturbed Ward were I pretty much nailed every single skill shot I went for, but it felt like I barely got any payoff for it. Like you gain maybe 1/2 a second on a survivor, and that's when things are rather perfect, they can't immediately break half the chains on the environment and you don't walk through them yourself.

And if you miss your skill shot, well, then the survivor can pretty much traverse half the map. I really don't get this power... the scouting part is pretty cool and sees quite some use on indoor maps, but the fact that the casting slows you down and the execution actually has you to stop dead in your step is so baffling.

I would love so see the chains autoaim themselves, once you threw the spawn out, so that you don't lose that much distance on a survivor. Or maybe make a hit much more detrimental, I dunno, chain the survivor really in place and they have to solve a yellow rune in order to get free, but I know that that would be unpopular with the survivors.

And half the add-ons are pretty useless, increasing max chain reach or turning speed, which you nearly never should fumble with. Its really a frustrating situation as I really love Pinheads concept, but his execution feels so clunky and half-finished and his building blocks just don't add up.

  • Last week I had a day were I had 6(!) Haddonfields as killer. Not back to back, but still, it was crushing seeing that map over and over and over and OVER again!

But most of the time I get a healthy mix. The few times when I got the same map back to back therefor stick out that much more, but it happens.

  • My first game for today I wanted to set a counterpoint to all your sad stories.

So I got my Cenobite loaded up with a - 9s chain hunt build, threw in some bloody streamers and went on it as chill as possible.

Got the Eiry map, got 10 hooks and 3K, before the first kill I let them recover the downed survivor once. Chased one on a strong tile set till the next hunt set in.

Went out with 120k BP and I think pretty much everyone maxed out or was close to.

  • Besides BBQ for obvious grind reasons, I totally dig the new scourge hook:PR. This perk is my liberator and gave me so much breathing room against oppressive survivors.

When I'm lucky and get a quick, early down, I often can interrupt the first gen and jump right in there. I might not prevent it to pop 20s later, but I often find two more survivors and chase one, while the other returns to the gen and the forth goes for the save.

Sometimes RNG deals you some bad hooks, but this is a risk that I gladly work with. It's 10% less then Pop, but you get it automatically applied to the best gen and often hear some nice screams, giving you an instant new objective.

Often survivors will wisen up to your favorite Scourge Hook and I have seen all three free survivors swarming it, bodyblocking and sabotaging; if this happens I laugh because no one is doing anything really productive and I just use a normal hook.

My other goto perk is M&A. Its just a QoL perk for me that will mess with many survivors flight response and allows you to catch the greedy ones off guard at their gens.

And tinkerer is also never a bad choice and I love he instant stealth opportunities you get with it. Its best witj Bubba and jumping between two gen jokies with your chainsaw reeving. Ahhhh, that's life.

That one ended up being relatively easy. It sucks because I do feel a little bad but all you have to do is wait for a hook bomber and let them get the unhook...

Unless it is one of those tricked out event flashlights.

I once had a extremely good survivor, who looped like a young God and sported a fancy event medkit. Franklin lead to his demise, because he wouldn't want to lose it and several times looped back to try to pick it up.

Eventually this got the better of him, and with him hooked, the team crumbled.

He would try again to get the box back, but I anticipated it and this was his last mistake.

  • Congratulations. I dread the one we're you got to infect two survivors with one upheaval of Vommy Mommy... two times... in one trial :V Maybe I could find a farm group during the blood hunt. Hmm

  • I originally had tried to Adept him while I was in Iri1 and dayum was that frustrating.

I got several matches were I ROCKED it, but for the double pip I was always missing one sliver of hunt or deviousness. I had 3 iri medals and a gold one, but that wasn't enough.

Three times the achievement eluded me until I said "pffff" and waited for the rank reset, were I got it in no time.

His teachables aren't that bad, they ain't the best, that's true, but Trail of Torment is a lot of fun and allows some sneaky generator grabs because no one heared you coming.

Deathbound can work a bit like a reversed Infectious Fright and show you were to find the next survivors, especially when they feel save.

The Forced Penance is probably his weakest perk, it will occasionally activate after hook trades, but even when it works its effect ain't amazing.

  • Best boi Demogorgon!

I hope you got him. He is a lot of fun to play, nearly everyone says that he is like the perfectly balanced killer and it doesn't make sense to gut him, right? Right?!

  • And while we are at it, make the different characters more then just like skins, once their teachables are unlocked.

Either make everyones first perk slot be automatically using one of their original perks (just throwing around ideas, and I know that this is pretty harsh) or give everyone a passive that either strengthens their core perk or is in line with their lore and character, thereby maybe even encourage to break out of the 6 perks meta.

  • Oh my... I was looking forward to grind a bit when I got home from work in about 4h. Let's see how thinks work themselves out by then. Last time I got a lot of very profitable games, even with scary Killers like Trapper. I placed 5 padded bear traps in a row in the middle of the swamp map and the survivors fell for all of them. After that I ate a few pallets for fun.

  • Interesting. I would have thought that 90%+ would say DH, as most DS baits are kinda obvious and don't hurt you a lot, as that survivor didn't do anything productive, while a well places DH can ruin 1min of chase.

I suspect ya'll to be survivor mains posing as killer mains!!!11 eleven

She’s too rare in my survivor games. It’s such a shame because she’s an incredibly fun killer that is fair to play against and is a strong killer. Why is she getting close to Billy’s level of rarity despite still being strong and fun?

And she is also best waifu. Juat saying.

  • "We noticed that Pigs charge attack was over performing and have reduced the speed from 6.9m/s to 5.0m/s, giving everyone involved a more fair chance."

  • I remember that one time when I tried basement party Trapper with the add on that let's you step over your own traps and the big sack and then trapped the shack with all 8 traps an all possible exits.

Then I just hauled everyone down there and no one could escape. The salt in the end game chat was something else.

What that challenge is highlighting is that camping, tunnelling and slugging aren't just unfun strategies, they're also really hard to deal with on average.

For all the talk on the forums about the game being survivor sided, if the killers decide to play to the absolute most they can, with no regard for how fun the game is, the game suddenly swings in the complete opposite direction. It doesn't say much about balance other than the one thing that Otz said when he presented the results of this experiment: The game is sweaty-sided. Those who play purely for the win with no regard for enjoyment of themselves or others are generally favoured.

I think the best takeaway from this would be that the game needs some overhauling to reduce the power of the most powerful strats on both sides. It can't just be survivors that give up power here, the experiment shows that something must be done about the most powerful killer strategies.

In the case that your claim is true (and it doesn't sound too Unreasonable) this challenge also highlights the facts that nearly no killer uses this tactics in all it combined glory, at least all the time, be that because the community desided that its more or less scummy or they don't feel indifferent about draining all the survivors fun out of the game just for the sake of winning.

Yes, sweat wins, and this probably goes both ways. Maybe the meta take away of this experiment could be that regularly more survivors use every tactic and tool available to them to sweat it, because this game rewards this behavior? I don't know, but you read it so much here, on reddit, on Discord, practically everywhere, this feeling that killer players are somewhat punished for playing good by been thrown into the meat grinder of sweaty game after sweaty game, all day, every day, and that it's burning killers out.

This kind of threads sadly all too quickly devolve into "we vs them" mud matches, and even I, with my hopefully measured response, probably made a few more accusations then needed, because I am biased.

I like your conclusion, though: both sides how very strong and aweful tactics and tools at their disposal if they go full "sweat mode", and this should be looked at and de-toothed somehow, so that killers can play the game without getting all sweaty just for thinking of the next match and survivors an play 3 games in the row without being face camped and/or tunneled out of the game 1min into the match.

  • By now I can't differentiate between sarcasm, honest disgust, memeing or shading. I think I'm outa here, it's for the best.

  • The Backfill problem will improve, once we attract more players to the game or convince the disgruntled old cast to return. Just you wait.

  • One idea that I found really charming was this: with every Prestige level perks start to appear on your blood web one level higher. This way prestige would give you a tangible advantage, besides the vague "you gey better blood webs", one.

Lol, on a total tangent one of my favorite abilities from a superhero roleplaying game was the Vanishing Teleport. The way it works is you can teleport instantly anywhere you want provided that nobody is watching you at that moment and you could hypothetically get to that point through physical movement. It's basically Batman's trick where Commissioner Gordon is talking to Batman, turns away for a moment, and when he turns back Batman has vanished. 😄

I have to admit, if someone ever figured out a way to do this in a video game on some character, I'd use that in a heartbeat. Such a cool ability!

In Legend of the Five Rings (L5R), a samurai themed RPG, in the 1st edition there were some crazy stuff that only the monks could pull off.

One fun power of the Air elemental monks was you could teleport anywhere were another person could observe you vanish behind an object and then appear anywhere in their line of sight.

So you could walk behind a box and appear on the my battlements of a castle... or as a smol dot on the mountain waaaay behind.

The year is 2035. Men and women have fallen into the hands of Behavior Interactive. Microtransactions and Pay to Win survivors/killers to turn the competitive scene into an indulgence for the people who love to crush all their hopes against whoever they play, but they were foolish which led to their ultimate defeat. They have spent all their money to feed their hunger and bitter hatred. Their money on exaggerated benefits and technicolor dreamcoat to shine brighter than a lighthouse, a beacon to show how fantastic you really are.

For the time that mankind has lived, they too are prey to the machine. They are the oil for the gears, to lubricate between the moving parts. The monopoly must continue. You must buy our finest and most delicate NTF killers and survivors until you become manure, no, not for the soil but your enriched mineral oil, your body itself fuels the fire we so desperately need. The monopoly must continue. We want YOU to buy our products. The monopoly must continue.

For such a long fictional text (which I normally enjoy), this one feld a bit too try-hard and underwhelming. Please try again, I know that you can do better! :>

Why isn't there an option to put a dot in the middle of my screen so I don't have to play 5 games of huntress before I'm warmed up to actually play

Theres more ranged killers than ever, its time to stop being different for dumb reasons.

It's 2022. Why isn't there an option to save like, I, don't know, 5-10 loadouts and name them like you want, for example "totem hunter", "botanic healer", "god looper", "BBQ and chill", "anti-sweat", "5 Hex Totems" etc.?

For real! For such a build and perk-depend game it feels so backwards NOT to have at least three loadouts per side.
