What are you talking about? He isn't getting nerfed, buffed actually.

The short stun wasn’t the issue with old legion lol
It was one of the issues of old Legion when both Fatigue add-ons were combined.
-
With tier III and probably tier II yes, with BT tier I probably not if the Killer is patient.

Base charge speed is fine, wanna instasaw? You're 110%
If the add-on was like old insta-saw then I think the trade-off would be fine, but currently it isn't even close to the old insta-saw.
-
It would probably depend on what would these add-ons do, but overall I don't have any issues with more Obsession add-ons being added to the game.
-
I like the new activation condition (cleansing a Totem), but I don't like the new effects, they seem too powerful.
-
The Pig has powers of ungodly beasts.

So wait im confused... he moves slower while uncloaking but the lunge is the same? Because the lunge always scaled based on how fast he moved while cloaked.
It should be like you described, and if not then it's bugged probably.
I didn't notice a difference in the post-uncloak speed boost tho, it's just the uncloaking move speed that feels really slow and weak now.
-
@AChaoticKiller said:
NO, ELABORATE.
please tell me they didn't change his uncloak lunge or it it's at least a bug.
They didn't, but the Uncloaking movement speed was hit hard, I can tell.
-
I would say The Wraith (pre 4.6.0) and The Trapper, they both suck without add-ons
-
I'm more excited for the Blight and Wraith changes tbh.
-
Who was ever outraged about looping? Probably the first time I'm hearing this tbh.
-
Buff the Trapper finally, the only changes he got recently were the ability to reset Traps and better RNG.
I hope they do more with him, like they did with Wraith, not in small chunks every few years.
-
It's easy to say "Just remove them lol", but there aren't easy ways of handling these issues without changing the whole hook mechanic, which this game is build around.
-
I think Legion would be a must for 2v8 mode, since they would just find and injure everybody easily and the second Killer would finish the job.
I would say Legion + Blight / Huntress would be really good together.
-
It's actually really sad, because if you take only the perks that are useful, you would be down to around 50.

While I think this is specifically just a meme I do wonder
Why did they specifically pick legion out of all the killers that have fatigues/cooldowns and so on
🤔
And why isn't there a trace of the blinding tunnel vision? 🤔
(Probably so the tweet isn't just a black screen, but I can hope)
-
This perk will be most likely used with Agitation, Mad Grit and Iron Grasp for memes, I cannot see it in an actuall game tbh.
-
Since the Gideon Meat Plant changes that added more god pallets and ######### breakable walls I really fear those now.
This next mid-chapter should be Demo's turn, which I cannot wait for, I hope they don't break him tho.
-
Forced Penance gives you 300 Bloodpoints when it activates.
-
Perks like Zanshin Tactics, Windows of Opportunity and Visionary shouldn't have a cooldown, it's annoying and these perks aren't powerful enough to deserve one.

Next step should be to make it a hex perk with a cooldown.
And a basic attack requirement.
-
I get pretty nervous when I see neon Neas in the lobby.
-
It probably is a basic attack because she cannot do normal basic attacks like any other Killer can do due to her base movement speed, also the blink attack acts like a normal basic attack with a slightly lowered duration.
As for Blight he cannot turn freely, which doesn't act like a normal basic attack.

Where is this from?? Ive seen this somewhere.
It's from Pan's Labyrinth.
-
If we don't count add-ons and perks, I would say Deathslinger, I like chases, but he just removes them most of the time.
If we count add-ons and perks then Freddy, I don't enjoy 30 minute games.

Better cleanse that hex then 🤣
This perk would be so unfair, there is a reson why movement speed perks are so hard to come by and have so much requirements. Also you could combine this with Beast of Prey for basically unlimited stealth and with Undying for longer duration.
-
Rewind sounds cool on paper, but in game it would be a wasted perk slot , Survivors would notice that their progress is going down so they will just stop doing Gens for a few seconds, also 48 meters is quite a lot for it to activate.
Try to find me also sounds interesting, but without LoS blockers I don't see it working ever, especially if it activates only in a chase.
-
Probably for consistency, you cannot use any other item while downed.
-
The only Fast Food Restaurants from these I have been in are McDonald's and KFC, so the poll turned into a 50/50 choice, and I must say I like KFC more than McDonalds.
-
I wonder what happened, do you remember the abysmal state that Ghostface was in his own PTB? It took one week when the PTB was still playable to basically completely rework him, new sound effects, addons and more! Now they don't even fix the bugs from the PTB...
-
No, you will not lose anything, just reinstall Steam, login to your account that you played Dead by Daylight on, install it and that's it. :)
-
What about reworking it? So it would do at least something without add-ons.

These are honestly not terrible changes, even if they were a bit much and you only used some it would be nice.
Here is the thing though, devs are just going to again say that his kill rate is pretty close to even and so they think he is fine, and have no plans to change him further at this time. That is what has been said every time he's come up before.
(This was a bit ago though, before the incident where all of the remaining devs here dipped from the forums and decided to no longer communicate with the playerbase anymore)
I think they don't want to break them again, Legion is a very unstable Killer in terms of balance, if you buff them too much they could create problems they would need to care about.
Also when you mentioned it, I miss the Dev communication.
-
For Killers you could try The Legion or The Doctor, they both basically eliminate stealth.
As for Perks, I would suggest Whispers or Stridor, those pesky Blendettes will have their day ruined by any of these two perks.
Whispers gives you an idea where a Survivor is and where you should be, if it lights up you know somebody is near you.
Stridor is there just to counter Iron Will, which most stealthy Survivors use.

FF lowers FPS on Console, so it's easy to miss.
Make it takes 50% of the remaining bar, then if you miss again it cancels it.
That sounds like a console port issue than a core issue with the Legion to be honest.
But that idea also sounds nice, it would basically allow you to miss once if the game decides to aim at a rock.
-
I think this is not the way of nerfing Gen speeds, that would be a real slug for Survivors, 80 seconds is already pretty boring, just imagine 240 seconds of holding m1 on one Generator, pain...
They should actually decrease the Gen speeds, but add secondary objective that would increase the match time in a interesting way, I really like the idea of fuel tanks for Generators scattered around the map and you need to fill Generators with it to decrease the repair speed, other wise you would repair at much slower pace.
-
Removing the power gauge penalty for basic attacks is great! It doesn't really make sense with the current Legion.
I think the 100% power gauge penalty for missing an attack or getting stunned should stay, Feral Frenzy doesn't really have a counter, so I think if a Survivor pulls of something that makes you miss or stuns you, you should get punished for that.
I don't really like the idea of Feral Frenzy being lethal, the Legion should get rewarded for chaining hits, but I think this isn't it.
You actually made a perfect reward, chaining hits gives you smaller Fatigue, that's a great idea! But it should get a cap, at 2 seconds it should stop decreasing.
-
I must say, I really like the drawing.

What if someone chooses 5 hex perks with one of them being Haunted Grounds?
Also, if this were to ever happen, just make it at level 50, needing it to be P3 50 makes it a huge grind.
I guess that one Haunted Grounds totem just wouldn't spawn.
-
These are valid playstyles, but that doesn't mean they are fun for any side, immersed Survivors are pain and can make a 10 minute game take 40 minutes. Camping is just boring for both sides, as the Killer you stand near the hooked Survivor and if the Survivors are smart they will just slam Gens, the Killer got that one kill, but at what cost? There is basically no interaction between any side. (Other than the Killer staring at the hooked Survivor)

Here is a clip from McLean (The game developer) where he's talking about it:

-
I don't see it as a bad Perk, sometimes it's really useful, but most of the time it's just a time waster.
-
Ranking is pretty easy I would say.
Rank just means how much you play the game, not how good you are most of the times, so you can find stealthy Blendettes that do nothing the whole in Red Ranks, and that's tragic.
Also some people are just cry babies and DC for basically anything, or they just needed to leave due to something happening outside of the game.
-
Yes please!
-
That hurts to look at.

True, but the Sprint Burst lasts 3 seconds. You can chain the charges of the chainsaw for much longer than 3 seconds.
it's around ~6 seconds if you time your m2 presses correctly.
