I once played against full p3 claudette team on the game, almost killed myself.
Who needs p3 claudettes when you can buy camouflage from the store? Seriously, full brown outfit, works in any long grass that's enough to cover you, or a dark/brick wall
-
Scuse me, invisible claudette coming through.

Insidious basement leatherface.
...Sorry.

@FogNoob @DBDbuildsYT those wont work; the bloodweb regenerates with any abandoned perks from the last bloodweb. You'll just get 4-5 perks regenerating over and over until you grab it.

so why all these people who repeat endlessly "not nerf ghostface"? it is not a killer strong, so it would not even make sense nerf, indeed, with the changes that have been there has only reached the threshold of "decent" (in my opinion) but we are far from a killer who can do something in rank high, so I don't understand all these concerns
It's a thing for the devs to nerf a killer after launch

I was really off set by Myers' stun noise sound, in the movie he would just breath violently, not release a loud "ARRRGGGH!" He is not getting shot in the eyes, stabbed, ran over, blah blah blah, it's just a pallet, Myers.
A grunt would be good, something that says "I felt that pallet, doesn't mean I'm gonna let it ######### stop me."

Nurses calling:You're loud as ######### healing anyway.
B&C: Soft countered by lockers, pretty much hard countered by how far a survivor can get before you can reach them.
Blood Warden: Doesn't break stealth, just stalls the game and actually encourages going back to stealth mode
Deerstalker: This only finds downed survivors, and is way more useful for finding them so they don't bleed out and waste your time forever.
Discordance: Promotes individuality, you'll learn they have it and make sure there's not 2+ people on a gen.
Hex: TOTH: A defense perk. This is to pull you out of stealth and expose you to possibly remove a kllers perk. It's a Risk/Reward.
I'm All Ears: Like BBQ, they're usually too far away for it to be useful And who quickvaults out of the terror radius anyway?
Infectious Fright: A defense against flashlight saves most of the time, and more discourages working together.
Iron Maiden: A true stealth killer, but can be outplayed easily once you know it's there.
Rancor: Triggers 5 times, and it's a notification. Try getting that to pop when you need it.
Spies from the Shadows: Well you aint exactly being stealthy if you're scaring crows, this is just a noob perk for those who don't pay attention. A good killer can track you by crows alone sometimes.
Stridor: Requires you to be very near a survivor to have any effectiveness.
Surveillance: A patrol tool more then a stealth killer. Tap the gen and run, see what happens. At most you'll only have 1 survivor who has to break stealth to keep the killer unaware.
Territorial Imperative: An area control perk for the basement, it's more for guarding then breaking stealth
Tinkerer: Triggered by survivors, and it's main bonus, the terror radius, is useless on low mobility killers, and high mobility killers are loud af
Thrilling Tremors: Most of the time is wasted when you pick someone up, and survivors will adapt and rather wait for the block then be detected.
Whispers: The most ineffective perk I've ever seen to find a survivor. Only works for new killers who haven't found any better detection perks.
-
Agreed. Ghostface is the killer we've been waiting for, someone viable at higher ranks, and in the right hands is a very powerful stealth killer. We'll have our "Run like #########" girl and our "Where the ######### is he" boy.

Eh they'd be fine.
Please, feel free to play killer and challenge every pallet. See how much fun you have. @NoxiousOnnyyxx

@Laggyhag123 think of it as 2 lines, normal time being straight, and the entities time being all wrigglylike. The entity can attach it's time to any point of time in normal time. So it could be breakfast time on the 9th of february in the entity's realm, but it can pass through to before mankind if it so wished.

Lose more time. Probably would slow tunneling down somewhat.

Slow tunnelling, and slow legitimate cases. This is a nerf that killers cannot afford
-
@Sairek hell, it doesn't even do much of a good job at that, you can change a lot of files, but as long as you're careful and don't screw with any of the core files EAC can not give a #########.
What EAC does give a ######### about is LightingService.exe causing security violations. A system program. I can't play until I shut it down. And shutdown.exe. I shutdown my PC with DbD open and it cries a river of tears about security violations.
In any case, I'd like an answer to this.
-
MLGA?
-
I'd just be happy to get red glowy eyes for the killers.
-
Some people rather addons that boost the base kit rather then change it completely. I like it how it is.

@Maj33y said:
It depends on what map you're playing .. like the Treatment theater , The Game are Survivor favored
While other maps like the coal tower and the one with big tree in the middle are killer favored and have one side with 0 pallets
say that to leatherface @Maj33y , he's bloody awesome on those maps. And that tree loop is horrible for any non-warping killer.
-
Make hearable distance 1.3x flashlight blind distance and then sure, cause the only tool a killer gets when blinded is listening for either grunts of pain or footsteps.
-
You can always execute grabs, it just seems healthy survivors executing a fast vault have an insanely strict window to grab.
-
Tier 0: 16s
Tier 1: 16.6s
Tier 2: 17.3
Tier 3: 17.9

Hag is hilarious. She can have literally all survivors down in a minute and I got messaged "thanks for the most boring game ever," wasn't boring for me so IDGAF!
Once I was playing leatherface, it was endgame, i had a horrible game, but had someone in the basement. Happened to be passing by as they saved him, rushed down the stairs...
Let me say it was a party. 4 downs in half a second.
-
@MandyTalk What do you think would be the correct thing to do in this scenario? Would this be bannable?
-
The only issue with the changes being discussed here about it not freezing when slugged is that if this goes live, killers will just let you bleed out.
-
Im not reading this thread, but I think the average survival rate is around 40%. Only 2 killers have worthwhile traversal power without addons, and the gates are very rarely so close.

It'll be fixed after sounds. See what I did there?
@BadMrFrosty They... uh... they fixed sounds in the next update.

To clear things up (since I started this entire argument apparently)
This is what I refer to as a "lost cause" game. 2 survivors left, 3 gens within easy chase distance, and no key present in the trial. When your teammate is camping hatch. You either DC, let killer kill you, or hope to appeal to any honour code the killer may have and punish the hatch camper for stalling out the game and AFKing. In a case like this, I don't believe it's bannable, as it's the last option you have left.
-
It's fine as is. It's only problem is it can punish killers for when the survivor is the only one found after unhooking, or they did a stupid and accidentally blocked a hit.
-
At least the joke had spirit.
-
@Tensor said:
So, what options do you want survivors to have then? None? You're just after the easy 4 kill each match
After personal experimentation (and mmuch salt) I have concluded that you just need leatherface, insidious, and a basement for easy 4ks.
-
They can get a buff when I'm not being blinded when they shine it in my ear.
-
No. This means you have to pay attention to who you're hitting.
-
Queues are definately longer. Before it'd take like 3 mins from pressing look for game, now it can tak up to 5 minutes, and in the off case I can never find a 4th survivor, ending up with a bugged lobby.
-
@StarMoral said:
I would say 40-60 seconds is well enough time to run somewhere, heal up, and figure out your next coarse of action if the killer comes back. Thankfully the perk stays if the timer runs out.
I've had times when I've hooked someone else who was stupid, downed some random survivor (i don't pay attention to who I've hooked or not hooked) and get DSed
-
A smart killer will actively bodyblock now to get hits.
Or in my case go on a chainsaw spree down the stairs faster then a nurse can blink
-
A good idea for this is to rat out your 'friend' to end the game. If you spot them straight camping hatch then try get killer's attention but not run and use the "come here" emote and lead them to the other survivor. Be careful when doing this though, they may be holding a key and attempting to act as a beacon for you to come over, and in some cases may be trying to be a savior, waiting for you to move away from the 3 gen to catch your attention.
-
I think something that boosts this is the basement. When anyone is down there, the grass above moves as well
-

I heard that you can purchase with shards if you buy it with real money you get and exclusive skin 1 that its the white skin that you can see in the ptb hes skin was made by devs but the mask its licensed so its not a fully licensed
No, the clothes are for if you buy the DLC instead of the standalone killer I believe
-
I burn it, you earn it. That's how it works IMO.

Because killer mains would cry endless rivers of salt if he was nerfed. These are the people who will consider the game balanced when they get a 4k every game.This isn't true. I play billy now and then and get maybe a 2k

They are increasing pallets actually, but they are limiting safe pallets

@IMhereRUN said:
Ok, true that. It’s not a victory for them, it’s an admission of defeat, but still there’s no way I should’ve been able to close that on her.
This is another fail condition. Killer found the hatch and got there in time. Last chance is the gates. I'd be fine with survivor jumping in being priority if we can do hatch grabs again.
-
@IMhereRUN said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/527597#Comment_527597
Survivor won the hatch, but couldn’t capitalize because of latency. A bit unfair for that poor survivor...how you missing this??
@IMhereRUN that's incorrect, you haven't won the hatch. You've lost the game, the hatch is your second chance at getting out and keeping your items and living.
-
People always say that consone players are bad at nurse, and sometimes huntress.
1, Wrong subforum
2, Comparing a console nurse to a PC player nurse is impossible. People who learn nurse on PC can end games before a gen is done easy. Console players can't reach that standard due to not having full control over how fast you turn.
-
@Visionmaker said:
I think if someone finds a key in a chest (the first time), there should be a game-wide notification. That way the killer and solo survivors are able to adapt to the situation.
Other than that, I see no reason to change anything. You have the option to prepare for one in the lobby.
This becomes a situation of being aware. See a survivor running with a key? Get rid of them asap, preferably in the basement.
-
Wait, does bamboozle block it for killer too?
-
@Kiskashi said:

Agreed, and it pays off a lot more than camping the hatch while others are struggling to survive. As killer I sometimes take extra pleasure in ignoring the person actually doing gens and trying to survive and finding the hatch camper first in those last 2 survivor situations.
Does it count if I hunt out hatch then try rescue the other guy (but am willing to abandon them if it means my death)? xd
-
The killers in this game have no reason to talk, only to kill. The Plague gets that because she's (presumably) saying a prayer to the "gods" (entity in this case).

I've been vocal that adrenaline should be a token based perk. It should be something that's earned, but don't take functionality away from it.
And stop calling it a strawman - that argument is proven null and void by threads like this. People asked for DS to be nerfed, it was. Borrowed time, it was. It just doesn't stop. When it stops, I'll stop throwing that hypothetical future out there.
@Paladin_Goo again, it's not a nerf to the perks, but the ability to chain them together and make it nearly impossible for a killer to down a survivor when they are chained.
-
@CitrusCyanide That's not true. The entity's realm doesn't have a linear time alongside normal time. Nurse is the confirmed first killer to ever serve the entity. The entity has the capability of snatching a killer from 1960, then BC, then 1920.
