I mean they're glowing white. i think that should be enough.
-
But mooooooooom I wanted to escaaaaaaaape!
-
Maybe don't be in a corner cowering all game then.
-
I mean, welcome to a new chapter release for an insanely popular franchise.
-
1: Stop complaining about hitting endgame when you have an endgame perks on.
2. Don't go for every chase that comes your way. If you chase for around 20 seconds without hitting the survivor, consider dropping it and patrol gens.
3. If you're on the last gen and they're very close together, DON'T CHASE SURVIVORS OUTSIDE OF THE 3 GEN.
4. And yes, I do have to mention this because of your killer choice, Facecamping sucks and is inefficient, don't do it. You'll miss out on pressure you could be exerting elsewhere.
-
Honestly I'd say Pyramid Head. He's one of the few killers that still get countered by W keying away XD
-
I mean you can when you load up into the lobby
-
I wanna play Oni more but I have NO investment into him and I am in no position to start with RE coming around the corner.
At least I can appreciate Kazan as a character tho~
-
So slugging for the 4k? This isn't new and it never left.
-
I mean if they're all gathering SO CLOSE that you can't even get them to another hook, then they aren't anywhere close to a gen or even a dull totem at that.
They're just wasting time or just BEGGING to bleed out.
-
The thana need will definitely sooth the survivors who keep DCing against legion and plague right?
Right?
-
You literally tell the killer if you have MoM. They can ignore you and you either have to chase them to use the perk or deactivate it by doing... Really anything.
For a perk that was already meh, it is definitely a nerf.
-
As survivor, I purposefully run to the other side of a map if a gen is done on one end. That is IF I can get to a gen without getting caught of course, but that's by the by.
My usual method to avoid a 3 gen is Gen on one side, Gen on the other, Gen in the MIDDLE Take 1, Gen in Middle Take 2 (if Take 1 didnt work), and finish the last gen.

It can cause seizures though
If they're susceptible to seizures, I dont think they would be playing a game full of flashing lights and quick movement.
-
Well with more slowdown comes more need to speed the gens up.
I don't mind that it's become more popular because... It was ALWAYS popular. It was always meta.
-
I mean of a killer is camping at 5 gens then... Do the gens.
-
@Jago said:
No. There's too much hackers.
I didnt realize I was hacking when I got a down as Legion, but okay.
-
So don't disble them because of game breaking bugs...
Disable them because you're having a hard time.
Sure pal.

I ran it while doing a gen challenge and it felt like very few people at my MMR use aura perks anymore. There was maybe 1 lethal and a few BBQs, I'd say about 70% of my games it sat at 3 stacks and never moved.
I experience that a bit too, but ey I dont mind. The games it DOES come in handy, OH BOY it comes in handy.
Hell even if it doesnt do anything at least you can say "Well, they dont see mee at least"
-
DC'ers can rot for all I care.
I don't care if this is a Rank 1 5000 Hour Legacy Nurse woth the best addons and have their DPI set to 4 billion and headset at 500% volume, YOU'RE PLAYING THIS 30 SECOND MATCH WITH US. NOW SIT DOWN, SHUT UP, AND HOLD M1 ON THE GEN UNTIL SHE COMES AND SHOVES HER WHOLE ARM IN YOUR EYE SOCKET.

@Carth said:
Distortion is amazing and works great for countering killer builds that just have one aura reveal perk(think just running BBQ, or just running I'm all ears, or any of the killer addon's that reveal survivor auras). It really only fails at it's goal if the killer brings multiple aura info perks which is an extremely rare build.
I've seen a few of those, specifically on a Legion with BBQ and Stylish sunglasses. But because the meter goes up when you're in their TR, you can kinda treat it like a Spine Chill. Needless to say I never got caught XD

It needed a nerf, it was way too strong. It's the only way killers can track you! Without grunts of pain, survivors vanish. It was really unfair and one-sided.
I wouldn't say that. If you're a Trapper MAYBE but you just have no chase anyway.
Play someone like Legion or any killer with any kind of tracking, one shots, speed generally and Iron Will isn't, well, WASN'T much of a problem.
Now, it's just useless. More often then not, you're gonna be exhausted before you even take a hit, making Iron Will deactivate COMPLETELY.
-
Here's a better suggestion!
Double the DC punishment instead!
-
Dredge usually hits the nail on the head for me.

What point would that be?
It's only been one patch and you're saying the game sucks "NOW".

Go play killer? I played both sides. It isn't fun for me anymore. The game sucks now.
You just proved his point, you numpty.
-
The raunchier the name, the more worried you gotta be.
-
Get real. You aint droppin this game. You're too addicted.
And if ya do, then we at least have less one doomsday sayer.
-
The grind is weird for survivors. You have to get the survivor you want to level to Prestige 1 (so technically level 51) but you get all their perks on every survivor at level 1.
It's worth it if you level someone like Meg where ALL her perks are amazing, but if you level someone like Jake it's not worth it at all. Especially if you only play one survivor, which most people do.
At least with killers, of they have bad perks they can make up for it in gameplay (Oni for example) or if they have poor gameplay but they have amazing perks (my precious Sadako).
The grind decreasedefonitely benefits killers more. That's for sure.
-
Laughable that they took a useless perk and somehow made it worse.
But then again, look at Self-Care
-
Short answer. No.
Long Answer. No. Stop reading the forums.
-
As a certified Gen and Heal Jockie, I'm havin a blast!
-
Desaster.
DESASTER.
TWICE.
-
Bro, stop being a weenie and run Distortion.
-
Been playing a lot more survivor. Idk why, but it's been pretty fun tbh

After the game is set in motion, meaning you are hooked, then aftercare always gets you value. Even if you are hooked you are guaranteed to have one link of aftercare running (on the survivor that saves you from the hook).
Bond is good, but the range is limited and only works for you. Using open handed may increase its range, but you are most likely better off running another perk in its place and it still only works for you.
I think aftercare is very underrated, and that it is worth running.
Right now I run it with Kindred AND Empathic Connection. My teammates come to me if they're injured or I go to them to unhook them, and I always get some sort of value from just one altruistic action.
Tho I would be such a happy boy if it also worked with Co-Op actions in general.
-
I mean regardless if it's multiplicitive or additive, Streetwise would be good to pair with Botany if you're using medkits to heal.
-
Let's be real, killers, survivors, 50/50 players, Dead Hard got massively gutted. And I myself wouldn't completely hate if it got buffed to .75.
IF. AND ONLY IF. The crummy dab animation stays.
-
I honesetly never go against Blights, a Nurse every now and then, and WHERE DID ALL THE HUNTRESSES GO!?
Apart from them, I see a lot more Tricksters for some reason, Spirits and Legions are pretty common for me, Plague has been popping up more, and I'm not mad, I see a ton of Billy's in lower ranks, shudders Bubba.
Nemesis is pretty common, Pyramid heads every now and then, I see a lot of the good licenced killers (please buff my Sadako PLEASE)
Apart from hardly anyone touching Hag and Artist, I think we have a pretty good killer spread rn.
-
This sounds like such a humble brag and I swear it isn't, but I was getting 4k's at 4 or 5 gens consistantly before the update happened.
-
*cut to ugly Quentin*
*cut to tiny face Nancy*
At least they got the killers down... Kinda...
*cut to maskless Pig*

The only person I've called a killer main here is OP because they explicity stated that they were in fact a killer main.
Really? Hm. You seem like the type to talk like that.
-
Both need Addon nerfs really. Their base kit power is just, by nature, insanely strong.
Think about how many nerfs they had to give Spirit and STILL she is an insanely good killer in the right hands.
Keep their High Skill Cieling and even their high skill floor, but take some of the power and stackability out of their addons

I understand this is his power but the power should make further things darker, not everything. Sometimes I cant even see pallets near me lol.
Bro that's the fun of it. How long has it been since DbD was actually scary?
My heart starts thumping when It's Nightfall, especially if there arr lockers nearby. I look around even more than I already do cause the guy could literally be anywhere. And thatsense of ease when you 100% know he's on someone else.
I may be a bit boased after playing Dredge myself, but going against Dredge is a blast for me.

I think long term it will actually make stronger players. Its gonna force ppl to learn how to run tiles better, prioritize finding teammates when healing or working on gens, and make players think more about what theyre doing in general. In the end, they will be better players and that means we'll have more reliable teammates.
As with most other ppl here, i've always played off-meta soloQ builds, so my experience has mostly been the same as before. Really hopin to see more ppl runnin info perks once they realize how strong they can be.
I must be lucky in SoloQ cause it's not too rare for me to have like one or too godlike loopers while me and the mates do gens. If I can have more of those, I will legit throw together a full gen build and just go to town while they run the killer.

"I am a main killer so i will not lie, i might be kinda based"
Can killer mains stop giving their unwarranted opinions on an issue affecting SURVIVORS.
We're telling you solo queue is in a bad spot and you're responding with "Well actually as a killer here's all the reasons it's not."
Do you not realise how biased this is?
obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction; in particular, prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.
You call really anyone who has an opposing view a "Killer Main" so
-
Whatever you want man, like I said don't expect anyone to actually listen to you.
"Having a Conversation" is code for "I wanted to complain".

If Suiciding on Hook and DCing is increasing, this is a symptom of poor game health. In fact, this is probably the biggest red flag there is for a game.
"Let me ruin the game even more be leaving my teammates to rot"
Yeah, the other survivors arent gonna blame the killer for the DC, they're gonna blame you.

I agree with giving benefits of moving survivors. No matter how many perks they add or basekit additions to prevent tunneling people will still do it as currently it's the strongest way to slow down the game
Unfortunately I agree. I definitely made use of it plenty of times when a survivor didn't have DS.
But even then I never specifically go for one person. If ya onky go for one, all the others are unpressured.
Right now a meta just needs to settle in, like I can gaurentee if AND WHEN Off the Record becomes widely known as the best Survivor perk, killers will be forced to spread out their focus a bit. And BAD killers will have a very very tough time.

"Sorry baby Nea, you did your darndest and were able to survive last, but a rando forum poster said I can't inflate 'the numbers'. See you in the spider void!"
