I thought it was taking a hit when the killer is chasing someone else and you get hit (whether it's actual protection or not).

I wasn't disagreeing with you buddy. Look who I was replying to, it wasn't you.
Sorry, just seemed like you had moved on to feedback for me at that point. @weirdkid5
-----
I also want to say, the Last Chance status only applies once they are used, and is not a nerf to the perks themselves, but rather the ability to chain them.
Also, for clarification, last chance counts down even in a chase, so if you keep the killer chasing you it can be used again in the same chase and the like.
-
@TreemanXD Perhaps only triggers the second chance if the heal is used, or if in a chase. I was thinking about adding that to it's description, but decided to get feedback first on the base of it.
-
Chucky can't be added for multiple reasons, the most important being licenses, balance (since he's so short he's completely hidden in grass) and he has no ability really.
-
@weirdkid5 Killers already do have that energy; they have the hex system. and unlike the system I've proposed here, Totems have continuous perks that are permanently disabled once the totem is broken. The survivor has no such system except the exhaustion system, which is used for dodge perks way, way more then second chance perks.
-
No, actually @Paladin_Goo. I want those in. As someone who plays both sides equally, I know what the pains of both survivors and killers are. Pain for a killer is not being able to touch someone because they have all these perks stack as a survivor, and it promotes perk abuse and not skill.
It'd also give Vigil an actual use, allowing others to recover their second chance perks quicker, and allowing Vigil to be more viable, while giving the killer more control over a chase, and since these perks no longer just chain together it promotes survivors trying to keep their perks as long as possible, so that they can keep going longer instead of abusing it till they either get away or the killer just gives up.
-

cough only survivor perks mentioned cough
Killer's equivalent to second chance perks already have a system; hex totems. And those permanently disable the perks, so if anything survivors still have a step up compared to killers @Paladin_Goo

and why do we really need the feature where the match gets cancelled? Did we REALLY need that? Now people are using it to troll.
Seen that like 3 times TOTAL. Then today alone about 3.
Yes. 3 man games meant not only an already snowballing game for the killer, but missing emblem points on both sides

Daddy Myers is the scariest thing in this game.
Legion and the vommy mommy are the least scary. Barney the dinosaur is scarier than Legion.
You haven't seen insidious legion, ######### he can be scary.
-
As someone who plays both sides, a Claudette wearing full brown. I've done this and lost killers in chases by crouching at random
-
Nurse is easiest simply because her power is pure reading and nothing else.
Hardest is Myers, mainly because I play stealth and he just uses stalk to find me.
-
You do realize that being able to see what the killer is absolutely breaks the game? What about Myers? Pig? Hag? Ghostface? You're immediately on high alert.
-
I have no problems vsing nurse. I can't loop for #########, but I can hide in a fully lit white 3m by 3m room with nothing in it.
-
Bbq and myc are both very good on spirit, surveillance is too.

This and blood warden would spell death for the survivors almost every time.
You'd have to hook a survivor though for that, and blood warden is a death sentence in most cases anyway.

Buff the numbers to 10-15-20, then we're talking.
At tier 3 the endgame collapse would only last 24 seconds
@[Deleted User] said:
at this status. it shouldn't be a hex perk.
if the numbers got changed to 8/12/16. then it may has a chance to be a hex perk.
this would last 43 seconds.

This was intended and kinda needed. It’s currently too loud on the live server, you can’t hear anything over the sound of it.
I liked it being nearly mute. I knew i was chasing someone, but I could pay attention more to my environment and if anyone's trying to stealth around me while i chase someone.
-
Don't go game > bloodweb > game > bloodweb. Have a few games in a row, then spend, you feel a lot better and like you're making a dent in the bloodweb getting to BBQ by buying most or even entire bloodwebs out in a single swoop compared to buying 2-5 items only.

If you manage to get 2-3 hooks while someone's DS is still active then you're already doing good and shouldn't be bothered by getting stunned with it.
I hate you for making this point, but, well, you got a point.
-
Let's be frank: rank 20's aren't useful for anything. My opinion is that the tutorial didn't help them.
I got to rank 11 and I still don't know how to loop, I just stealth everywhere and lose killers midchase by crouching at random in grass or next to crates.

That's ok I had a Legion somehow run across from the gap between the stair ledge and the one with the generator on that map.
This is possible with precise swing timing im pretty sure, like how the killer can swing around the hay bales on the tractor thing. I can't tell you how many time's I've surprised a survivor and killed them because they didn't know it's possible for a killer to hit them there without going from the bottom or the window.
-
With 2 gens left, you can complete it extremely fast already, especially if you have the items for it. And the killer will either kick hatch or guard it, it's too dangerous to leave open and unguarded.
@Pitchumi said:

Considering how fast the hatch may be found by the killer, the last survivor will not take the risk to spend this amount of time repairing generators instead of getting to an exit gate/the hatch, even more if there's more than one generator to do (considering the distance to reach between theses too...). Insta-pop allows some mind-game as the generators may be used for a different purpose (decoying/baiting) or giving more chances to escape when entering the exit gates powered + hatch situation.

Seems to me like it would take a simple boolean value that states whether true or false if the Survivor is hooked.
It isn't difficult lol
@[Deleted User] said:
The other possibility is that they're having trouble coding a detection difference and know they won't get it done in time, so now it's "not a glitch and intended to prevent camping". The game is notorious for spaghetti code.
The game has a state system. "Healthy, injured, dying, hooked, sacrificed, dead, disconnected." Just check the state and apply off that.
-
Toxicity is when you do something to piss off someone else or ruin it for them.Teabagging is toxic; they could be using that time to run, but they're sitting there taunting you instead to piss you off and make you play tilted.
Cheating is when you break the game in some way to piss off the opponent or win the game. Toxicity is when you use the games mechanics to piss off the opponent. Looping isn't toxic, Stealthing isn't toxic. I'd say slugging is toxic if you don't try finish the kills and just let them bleed out. Camping can be too if you're doing it just to piss him off (facecamping is always toxic since it's better to patrol the immediate area instead, but this is self punishing most of the time since everyone else will just do gens.)

Entity was confirmed female for years mate.
-
I want you to think about this from the Entity's view.
"My killers are about to feed me. Let's give the survivors a ######### gun."
Many killer's already spend like 30% of the game eating pallets, needing Nurse to pull the knife out of our backs, and going temporarily blind. We don't need more stuns.

I grab unhookers mid animation all the time. Literally did it a few minutes ago. What are you on about?
Brush up on your facts, ASAP
Also, it is NOT under any circumstance too strong, unless you tunnel off hook. There's other survivors you could go after. You know, the one who just unhooked them, or the one doing the gen (if we're talking about time here). It is not too strong. Period.
@mcNuggets Start up a KYF with 3 friends, then get your friends to hook the other survivor. Pull them off hook, and you'll see a progress bar. That's your time window to be grabbed. Once it's full, you'll complete the channel and can't be grabbed
-
-I usually hook and go for another one, but if survivors made me stay near hook long enough so next stage of sacrifice is withing 10s I will stay there to not waste those 50s i already commited. It is just efficient.
-if survivor went for reckless save and got grabbed of hook i will just drop him on the ground and i will not leave easly. You just created situation where i control 2 survivors who can't do anything and others are very likely to be here aswell for sneaky save. Don't be that guy, just wait till killer leaves.
Big yes to these 2 points. If you run me back to a survivor who's about to move phase, I'll sit there for a few seconds just to confirm the phase. And if you're gonna just sit there and stare at me I'll just stand there too. I've had a game where 2 people were waiting for me to move to rush the guy but I knew they were there and just waited till their friend died. They got toxic af (as expected), I shut them up by saying "Shouldn't have given me a reason to defend my catch."
-
Ithink GF will actually be good in the right hands now that catching a frame of him doesn't end his ability.
-
I'm fine with this, downing or hooking any other survivor after 5 seconds have passed off the hook removes 10 seconds. The 5 second buffer is so make your choice or other exposed effects downing your saviour don't screw with it.
-
I don't think he should be banned. The survivors had a chance at doinggens, they had a chance at escape. A survivor getting into an unreachable area or killer bodyblocking basement (which, yes, i know, it's fixed) is a true hostage situation, but this guy played the game with a strategy, and a stupidly effective one. It needs to be fixed, but he shouldn't be banned for playing the game.

I main Legion but I started playing after the nerf so I have never experienced how they were before. FF is underwhelming for me, I sometimes only use it 2 or 3 times a match because it's so easily countered, a pallet, or a locker (jump in a locker, if Legion ends FF to get you out you have 4 sceonds of fatigue to get away, more than enough). If I had Thanataphobia I would Frenzy more but that's not unlocked yet.
I like the chases Legion gets into all the time and it's fun when someone forgets to mend and they fall over a minute two later.
I love Legion's look and story so I persist with them. My other Killer is Trapper so I seem to like mid-power Killers.
You can grab a survivor out of a locker in FF you know? @shalo

I'm with Judgement here. I don't even play survivor and I can just bypass Ruin Entirely.

Knockout + Deerstalker. I don't do it all that often cause I know it's not fun to be slugged... but it is an entertaining combo to run and watch the survivors running around trying to find where their teammate went down. Knockout is fully countered by SWF though, like so many other things, which makes having fun with it a little hard at times.
Do this on Lery's, I at least get so lost on this map as survivor.
-
I like it, though it does need a nerf.
-
It's obvious OP is a troll who is probably a toxic survivor main, but I'm putting my 2cents in as one of the least toxic people in the DbD community.
I've had more issues with individual survivors lagging, and because of it teleporting ahead like an automatic dead hard every 2 seconds, then I have had with laggy killers (my issue with killers is usually how they miss someone who crouches midchase in the open and somehow lose me.)

A reminder that he is bugged on the other, his stealth is not intended to break instantly.
No, but the stealth break is 1 second normally. You can still spin your camera to get him, just slower.

I'm excited for the archive as well, but at the same time the battle pass-like model has me worried, because I'm not sure how they're gonna do it, and every game with a battle pass generally has things VERY time sensitive so they can make you pay for higher progress. Things like that have driven me away from games.
@se05239 said:
I am mostly looking forward the Archive and the map reworks but like, they said that there'll be two map reworks PER YEAR and the Archive is being dragged down with a Battle Pass.. So eh, I dunno.
The Archives and the battlepass thing are 2 seperate things. Archives have thier own DLC packs from the battlepass, and can be bought at any time. The battlepass is purely cosmetics and not lore or the like.

On that note the entity states that it chooses its killers because they are dangerous and they would willingly kill. It would make scense for someone that blew up a mine to trap hundreds of people to starve to death, crushed someone in a car and pulled their spine out, brutally beat their parents to death and slaughter farm animals, kill 50 insane patiants and staff members, killed his sisters friends, eat people, is actually purely insane and beat test subjects with a mettle stick and bash someone's skull open to have electrodes on his brain, kills because they need to provide "food" for the family, killed a bunch of teens literally in their sleep, hunted travelers and even German soldiers for food, and kill his father and others to collect disembodied fingers. When I think of dangerous I do not think of a girl that got killed along with her mother that I dont even think got revenge of her father, 4 small teens with knives that killed an unsuspecting janitor, or a girl trying to save her city by becoming high preastis then walking out of the city to save her people from the plague. Guys have ur motive be dangerous killers again someone like jason where hes big scary and actually would kill u if he had the chance. That's dangerous
You forgot nurse. She doesn't even want to be there. Hell, her power tortures her to use, but it's either punish herself or the entity will.
-
@AshleyWB Yeah, they're like mini challenges which give tidbits like lore and cosmetics, and works like the bloodweb (except to take a node you need to do it's respective challenge.)
This also just gave me a question about the lore, and a blue bloodweb... possible 2nd entity/outside source confirmed?
-
I only get coldwind as shape. We're up to 44 coldwinds in a row
*cries in corner*

Why MoM is OP (In it's current state): Killer has no idea you're running it, provides a free hit, no way to counter it, downside is ignorable since it's used endgame. How it's obtained is getting hit, which gives the survivor a speed boost, rewards you for playing bad (which is unfair to NOED too, since NOED can be disabled and countered, while MoM can't.)
Why spirit fury isn't OP: Require's spending time for 2 pallet breaks per activation, still stunned for some time, require's taking the stun, can be avoided once it's know by throwing the pallet earlier (at most they will get on hot because of it in SWF games), optimal use requires 2 perks (Spirit + Enduring)
-
Hatch closing takes priority, and the killer can block hatch by standing right on it (very fun as wraith to do this then kick hatch when the survivor goes for it).
However, latency comes into play too
-
I think its clear and safe to say that the majority of the community is a killer community.
Killers: NOED, Rancor
Survivors: Dead Hard, MoM, Adrenaline, Sprint burst, Balanced Landing
Add to that the new killer's power is controlled by survivors, and how MoM was always used at the end of the game, when not needed, this game panders more to survivors then killer still. 3 protection hit's are easy to achieve, I tested it in publicmatches myself, so I don't know what people are complaining about.
And you want to talk glitches? There was a glitch that made the game need less then 5 gens, as well as more survivors joining a game then should be normal. Survivors still have extremely safe loops, usually stacked in a line, and the only building dedicated to the killer, the killers shack, is one of the best looping points of the game. 75% of the time hits come from mindgaming your opponent, not any self-error in their judgement.
And you can't say I'm baised, I play both sides equally, if not survivor more, and I still don't like how biased it can be to survivors. when a character can break chase by turning a corner then crouching, or how a survivor can keep a killer in a chase for 2 minutes jut because 4 pallets right next to eachother have no danger to looping them as long as you aren't stupid.

It fits the theme, so why not? I'd love playing survivor more if small easter eggs like this existed. Maybe killer too in some cases.
