Yes it would, killer walked back, it's like a normal pallet stun.
If they walk back, the don't get the stun
The thing is, I did the drop action when they were in the pallet, it refused to drop till they left it. You can only activate the drop while the killer is standing within the stun zone, so this should not be possible

That shouldnt work like that tho? Power struggle should still have let me escape, otherwise whats the point?

Aaaaaand what exactly happened?
Power struggle triggered but only after the killer had walked away and didnt save me, even tho the pallet dropped.

We all got different taste ^^
A killer trial function wouldn't be a bad idea actually :)
We used to have this; the splinters.
They got rid of those.
-
Aura shows are used for prolonged tracking/info through awareness. Notifications are use for when it's truly passive info.
-
Killers can only basic attack with a survivor on his shoulder. If he was doing damage, then mad grit was triggering.
-
Killer main here. This is actually kind of good, even if there was better ways. Killer's work on a time basis; how much time they have vs how much the survivors have. With this they will take longer to heal, which not only refunds time back to killers (Especially those with very little time waste in the first place) but also gives a larger window to interupt the action, wasting more survivor time.

It should be the other way around for both, you get off of the gen AFTER the skill check is done.

I think you'll find it's not that controversial of an opinion these days that reworked ruin is stronger than old ruin
Old ruin was better in terms of reliability (Barring it being a hex). It would always slow down survivors as long as it was up
New ruin depends on aggressive killers, so killers like trapper, hag, and Demogorgon suffered while ones like nurse, legion, and Shape benefited.

I can see you haven't that much time in this game yet. It will be better when you learn the maps and know how to control your desired areas better as the trapper. Trapper is difficult.
Better luck in the next one :)
I've had a lot of time in the game; my trapper isnt very levelled cause I've focused my BP into getting perks for my mains. The issue was I was stuck in a massive map with distanced gens and they kept snapping my traps no matter where I hid them.

Iridescent Button functions as a weird psuedo-stealth, if they don't have line of sight on you, they can't tell how far away you are and you can ambush them while in Frenzy.
In terms of stealth perks, they're not actually super effective on Legion since of how badly they affect Legion's tracking. The ones that would be most effective, in my opinion, would be Trail of Torment (since the undetectable goes away when you deal damage, allowing you to use Frenzy as normal) and Dark Devotion, as you'll only be basic attacking your obsession when you're downing them (don't m1 healthy people as Legion while Frenzy is charged, lol), so you can slug and take advantage of the undetectable that way.
Don't run perks like Hex: Plaything or Hysteria on them without double detection range addons, otherwise your Frenzy will be far less effective.

I'm hoping to go for a completely silent approach rather than "He's in frenzy" plus I dont like how it expands to the whole map. Sure it's good info, but I wanna know who I can stab rn instead of doing am arathon across the map only to run out while meg jumps a window.

I have my own means around that (mainly the 2 addons, but certain perks I'm running too)

Always remember the times when this was said to be THE next OP and meta and bully surv perk.
It's a luck perk, but the kind where when it triggers, it can be more game changing than Decisive. It's just many aren't willing to run the risk.
-
@Marigoria said:
It used to decrease while running before and it wasn't great. You could just keep chasing the same survivor and they would go down without you even having to hit them.
The decrease isnt like old deep wound. It'd be an amount of time where it'd be easier to just try and hit the survivor rather than run them to death; and chasing as such to run them to death would most likely just waste the killers time, so in doing so the survivor will still waste killer's time. It's more an "overtime" thing were 2-3 chases with a survivor ignoring it could cause them to collapse. Time's would need to be worked out, but effectively the survivor can sacrifice time for security, or security for time. Both sides interact with it.

Have you tried waiting 12 seconds and then hitting the survivor?
This.
Also bt just becomes a troll perk then. Im chillin in solo queue, first hook after i looped the killer, hes on his rounds, you run up to save me as he returns. Now im in a horrible position, on death hook, because of a perk i had no control over.

@FreshCoal said:
Either make decisive strike basekit or something because the amount of killers that just turbo-tunnel and follow you for 12 seconds after an unhook for a free kill is getting on my nerve. Just played a game where the same teammate farmed me twice and I went from a 1 and a half minute chase for the first hook only to have the killer get the second and third hook stage after 30 seconds. WE NEED BUILT IN ANTI-TUNNEL.
The issue isnt a need for built in DS, thatd make it worse. The reason its so common is because its one of the only things a killer van do to realistically get even a tie against survivors with half a braincell to share between them. Im certainly not the guy to ask how to fix it, but this def isnt it.

@StarLost said:
So, as I'm finally creeping up on the big 300 (hours played, probably 225 or so of those on killer), I frequently see survivors do things that I just...don't understand.
Maybe you can help me.
- When I'm chasing you, you seem to love running up somewhere high then dropping down. Unless you have BL, this usually guarantees me an easy hit. Why not just keep running me?
- Why do you insist on running around and around a rock rather than just holding 'W' and heading for a loop? It's not like you are slowing me down.
- Why do you always insist on getting into lockers right in front of me? Unless you've got Head On or DS, I don't get it.
- What is it with you and trying to flashlight me when I'm chasing someone else? It's not going to work and now I know you are there. Wait until I pick them up and it'll sometimes work.
- Also, why do you insist on blinding me after a pallet stun? It's BM as hell, and now you've both lost time and have a killer gunning for you.
- Why do you always insist on playing grab-ass with me when I'm going to hook someone? If you'd given me a second and stayed out of sight, I'd have walked away. Now you've given me a free hit when you tried to bodyblock me, and I'll probably catch you almost immediately once I've hooked your chum.
- Why is it that you insist on DCing or suiciding the first time I hook you? You'll get no BP, probably a penalty and you've just totally screwed over the other 3 of you.
- When I knock you down and chase someone, you always crawl off to Narnia then berate me in postgame for slugging when I can't find you. If you wanted me to pick you up, why not stay in the open?
- I get why you teabag me when you get an easy 4 out (and I sincerely hope your cat widdles into your PSU while you sleep) but why do you insist on teabagging and flashing me after you drop the pallet? Maybe 3 times in 4, I'll catch you almost immediately.
- Why do you give me a hard time about running addons when you're rocking a souped up toolbox or medkit?
- Killers dont lose momentum from dropping, wheras survivors do. They hope that because of this, they'll go less distance than you will and you'll overshoot while trying to swing.
- It can depend on your killer. Running straight against ranged killers (or speedsters) is a death sentence, so using a rock will slow them down more. Also sometimes killers can get stuck on rocks a little.
- They're attempting to dodge an attack they believe is coming. That, and a locker grab wastes more time and reduces the effectiveness of slugging.
- Get your attention, or perhaps blind you and make you lose your target.
- Some people do it right, using it to more or less vanish from the killer's radar. Many do it cause they dont know ######### they're meant to be doing.
- Same as 5, Some people know how to do it right, others its just "I saw a pro player do this so it must work"
- Salt
- Its very possible they didn't move far at all and their audio bugged so you couldn't hear them. To them, you just kept walking around them for seemingly no reason.
- Refer to 5/6. It's a bit different though, the people who actually use it as a tactic are doing so to get you to keep chasing them and lead you further away from others.
- Entitlement

in the Archives her lore is like that. But in the base game it's just a widow driven insane by working at an asylum, which I'd say falls under OP's reasoning
IIRC Nurse's Mori is painless because she doesn't want to sacrifice them, and tries to kill them as painlessly as possible to let them escape the torture for a bit longer.

@luvcraft said:
With her goofy "setting up and firing giant blue crow heads" power, she feels and looks more like a League of Legends character than any sort of "horror movie killer".
And the fact that it takes three different button presses to setup and fire a crow head at someone, and unless you get a lucky straight shot your reward for doing so is that you get to see where they are until they take a few seconds to shake off the crows? With this after Pinhead's chains it feels like killer powers are getting more and more complicated and less and less effective.
My gut reaction is that she's trash tier, but I might change my mind after seeing how she performs outside of PTB. It's hard to gauge killers in PTB with MMR turned off, and I can't tell if a killer is just bad, or if it's the fact that all the survivors are red ranks.
The crows can damage if they hit within short range and not through a wall
Edit: Just realized im wrong. Once they're marked by a crow, then subsequent ones at close range will damage

PH's perks are all pretty bad, and that's AFTER they were all buffed.
But OP's probably right. Deathslinger's perks are dogfood. So many requirements, restrictions, limits, and all in service of some extremely minor, very short-term aura reading (which is useless to Deathslinger, now that he's been nerfed out of being able to actually sneak up on survivors).
Pinhead or Pyramidhead?

We've made good strides recently with changes to Wraith and Deathslinger, making them more fun to face. It got me thinking about other killers with problematic gameplay and what we could potentially do to remedy them.
Any suggestions?
I know he's not B tier but I think Trapper could use some tweaking. I don't find him to be OP by any means, however it's simply not fun getting caught in traps that are hard to see, and constantly keeping a look out for traps in general is tedious. This is exacerbated by his recent buffs, and perhaps we should start looking into ways of making him more fun
Please dont change trapper. He's actually fun now. Not good, but fun.

Just snuff bones /s
Killer main, this is actually the play. Most survivors will tend to hang around it for one reason or another, so you often follow someone there (or find it by accident) you can snuff it out in like 2 seconds. It takes 16 to set back up, and thats 16s less generator time, plus whatever they need to find totems. Let them keep booning totems, it's buying me slowdown.
-

It should only activate on last gen completed, not exit gates powered (cannot activate from hatch close)
"It should only activate on last gen completed, not exit gates powered (cannot activate from hatch close)"
I'm fine with this actually. The other bit annoys me. Sometimes a game's long simply because the survivors make it so.

Killers go for swings for 2 reasons
- Grabbing is erratic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, and every now and then you get stuck in place for 5 minutes
- You might try and run before getting in grabbing range, so they lunge to get you quicker
-
I believe its
Killers: Trapper, Wraith, Nurse, Huntress, Hillbilly
Survivors: Dwight, Claudette, Jake, Meg
-
NOED's balanced rn, especially with boons capable of blocking it as well as making totems more looked for.
-
You havent met 4 cheated flashlight using high MMR survivors (which have reverse boosted to near minimum MMR, since I havent played for a while) on an open map using every second chance perk there was while also having hacked Borrowed time.

@Triforcer said:
...and knock 8m off the current TR of every killer. That will globally address the "hold W" meta without tinkering with individual killers. It is absolutely ridiculous that you can tack 35 seconds onto every chase by simply running away at the first hint of a heartbeat.
A better idea might be to give killers a "Terror cooldown" where the longer they arent in a chase, the smaller their terror radius becomes, forcing survivors to pay more attention when the killer has been missing for a bit.
