  • Legit the one thing I'd want to mod the game for, if on;y i could.

  • Could have been a duo freeing eachother

  • Survivor cakes are surprisingly rare, could be that.

  • Depending on angle and timing, it is entirely possible to make it look like they hoped in it when they just ran around it.

  • Spirit. Her power doesnt require quick aiming and turning, which console sucks at

  • No ones gonna see this cause its so far in, but perhaps it should be reworked to provide no speed boost/dash, but rather a small period of invulnerability that, if it successfully causes the killer to whiff, makes the miss cooldown longer. This removes the DH for distance, rewards for dodging better, and allows a useless perk (unrelenting) to actually have a use in counterplay.

  • Noed has counterplay, do bones. Even if you dont completely clean them all you know where it isnt now.

I guess you could have that perspective but when you play a killer slower than usual and they spread the last 3 gens out its hard. But the issue now is survivor will now run in a straight line and you can't compete

And the answer to this stupid strat is the all mighty Shift W. I have had to deal with multiple killers 3 genning from the second the game loads in multiple times today and it isn't difficult if the rest of your team does the same.

See the killer or hear the terror rad? Shift W to an empty part of the map. If he gives chase then you just won the game for your team GG

It only works on really really clueless solo players.

Fair, hold w has broken it a bit.

  • DH to dodge a hit? Perfectly fine, the distance is a reward.

DH for distance? Dumb as ######### and completely brain dead.

Other games allow it. At some point it becomes apparent that it is BHVR’s fault it doesn’t exist. That point was quite awhile ago.

Basically BHVR would rather not allow people to progress from console to PC and vice versa because they want us to have to rebuy DLC and most importantly cosmetics. Same reason why they will release a DLC with little to no testing on console and then pull part of that DLC yet still sell it right now at full price.

Again, theres little testing on console because console makers have extremely stupid policies for testing; the devs cant make a ptb for console and it takes 2 weeks for patches to be verified. Feel free to yell at bhvr for pc bugs, but console devs are at fault when it comes to console.

And its entirely up to sony. As it is the only reason any game on ps is able to do cross anything is cause bethesda threatened to pull games from the ps if they werent allowed crossplay for a card game of all things. Sony is still very selective about it.

  • @kisfenkin said:

Another multi-platform game just announced that they are providing the ability to play with your PSN account on PC/iOS/Android, Genshin Impact.

At this point the excuse that SONY won't allow it is completely wrong. They will allow it, obviously. So get it done, please, BHVR!

Sony is hard to work with and i would not be surprised in any capacity if they just say no anyway. One of the few things you cant really blame bhvr for.

  • Surprisingly, this should be considered normal. A lot if killers forget that 2 gens done means 2 gens less to patrol, especially if its 2 next to eachother. The very act of those gens popping means passive pressure increase. All you need to do now is pressure gens you want to keep, and kick people off the others now and then. Treat every killer a bit like trapper. The more gens done, the smaller your territory, the less you need to defend. You just need to identify where the best territory is and guide survivors away from it to force a 3/4 gen.

I actually suggest avoiding corrupt unless your killer needs prep time or you need to find a survivor Immediately, as it may push survivors to do gens that split the map in two.

  • hawkins is the one map i can rule as any killer, even trapper, and its not like i practice on it.

  • Cause teletubbies arent scary. Moatly.

  • Im sorry to say they wont do anything because they expect you to just buy a new account instead. Itd be a cold day in hell before they reinstate an account (even those that could prove their innocence like me).

It did say on my ban report that EAC banned me. But What the Hell? I'm a Streamer. And as a rule of a Streamer, You are not allowed to use any cheats or any exploitations. I just hope they could review my account, Cause this is the game that gives life to my stream. Given I've learned to play All Killers and grind this game for 5 Years. I can't believe it, I'm Shocked of such actions taken on me when I didn't use any mod, bugs, glitch or hax that could give me an advantage, I even got losses and my streams proves it.

Theyll take two weeks to scratch their ass before blaming bhvr or just say "we refuse to help because our technology is infallible"

  • The devs wont do anything, neither will EAC. I got banned for no reason 3 years ago and they both accused the other of banning me over and over until they both said they "dont give a #########, im banned, ######### off" (not exact words, but it was more or less their meaning)

Cool concept but I think it needs to be simplified, for example make a base power and give an effect each tier rather than a different power each tier, I think each tier should make feral frenzy stronger and building enough tokens should give legion strong effects

    Base power

Feral Frenzy, Move faster, 5.2m/s, fatigue 4 seconds, duration 10 seconds, recovery 20 seconds

At 0 tokens you have no terror radius, upon reaching 1 or more token your terror radius returns to you

4 tokens, Frank, you now move at 5.6m/s in feral frenzy, and feral frenzy has a longer duration (15 seconds)

8 tokens, Suzie, you now can activate feral frenzy mid recovery however chaining the frenzy when activated mid power recover massively reduces its duration -7.5 seconds, you can also recharge it fully by attacking a survivor with a basic attack

12 tokens, Joey, After hitting your first survivor in feral frenzy you can press the active ability button to "drop on" (teleport to) the furthest injured survivor (not while they are near a hooked survivor) dropping on them causes you to fatigue, fatigue duration is reduced by 1 second

16 tokens, Julie, your basic attacks also inflict deep wounds, increase your movement speed by 2% for each survivor in deep wounds, 1% for every survivor that's injured (only one or the other not both on each survivor) and increase deep wound mend time by 1 second for each survivor in deep wounds

20 tokens, Legion, you can spend a token to vault pallets and windows in feral frenzy speed (while not in feral frenzy), each time you do this remove a token if you drop to 16 tokens remove this effect until you reach 20 tokens again

now its a more additive and building wall of text instead of 4-5 changes per tier

Yeah. This was meant to be more descriptive rather than the actual description

What are the rules when a killer wiggles his body to get you to wiggle off, are you not supposed to run to the other survivor if it's just two of you left?

Had a 3 man swf call me names and toxic, cause I thought the killer was letting myself and the other survivor go since he was having me wiggle off and we only had one gen left, so I went to go pick her up so we could finish the gen but she DC'd as I was going over to her,

Before running in her direction, I stood next to the killer waiting for him to just slug me again, but he nodded his head so I assumed that was the go ahead?

Anyway they said they were all reporting me for working with the killer even though that wasn't what I was trying to do. After she d'c'd he let me go through the hatch. Did I do something wrong here?

No, the other survivors are just #########. Farming is allowed (I think) but teaming (where you deliberately lead the killer to survivors and whatnot) isnt.

    Break safe pallets

Great, now they just gained 30 seconds of distance and you just lost 3 gens. What's next?

Drop chase and go on another survivor

Great, now the one you just dropped chase with hops on a gen, and the next one you run into does the same thing, now you lost 2 gens before you land a hit. What's next?

    Push them on the deadzone

Game doesn't last long enough for that to happen. Literally 1 hold w, and 1 pallet break in the first chase = 3 gens lost. What's next?

3 gens lost is normal, but those last 2 are whats important.

  • @BenihimeWrath said:

They couldn't do this, for multiple reasons. Mostly for balance purposes. Could you imagine a huntress with monitor and abuse/infectious fright with a standard 40 meter terror radius? (32 base + 8 from M&A). Furthermore, you may want to check if after the match to see if trickster is also running M&A because trickster's base terror radius is only 24m, minus the 8 while not being in chase, thats only 16m. He'll basically be on top of you before you notice, which sounds like what is happening to me.

Hes talking about how the killers play music instead of a tr, such as the doctors eerie radius. He wants the option to not use custom TR and just use the standard heartbeat. He doesnt wanr to touch the lullabies

  • Self care. Still havent left it lmao, though i have learned to only use it only when its faster than looking for a heal or no objective is available.

  • They seem to be incredibly rare for survivors; it seems its any anniversary item and cakes arent guarenteed

ok but actually, this is quite intriguing. "Vampires who live among us and draw their powers from another dimension." this kinda suggests that the entity has acolytes outside of the realm and there are people aware of it outside of the realm. It's entirely possible that the next original killer is a vampire.

This is more or less already proven. I remember there was an entry stating an entire universe knew about and served the entity, and that Felix's parents actively fought it along with another anti-entity cult.

  • Too lazy to watch, but here's a few tips:

    1. Don't hesitate to abandon a chase if you feel you're getting nowhere. If you do feel you're getting nowhere with a survivor, try to avoid chases with them. That doesn't mean don't pressure them, just dont enter a chase expecting to down them, and try to just keep them away from objectives. Eventually you'll find the one not good in a chase, and work from there. Eventually the team will unravel and eventually it becomes a situation where no matter how good they are, they have to eventually go down.
    2. try not to break pallets where you can feasibly quickly hit someone on either side. These pallets are called "unsafe" and are so because no matter what choice a survivor makes, it's 50/50 they'll get hit (more skewed to your side depending on how you play it though.
    3. If you do need to break a pallet, try either faking it (they may run off giving you time and distance) or zoning them (moving in such a way before breaking it so they move away from safety and either they either lose distance or run to a dead area of the map)
    4. Don't be afraid to slug if you don't have time. A down survivor still needs help from another survivor, so thats 2 survivors occupied. Chase one and that's 3 occupied, so only 1 can do gens, and if you do well or get lucky, you could both chase and threaten their gen, making all 4 survivors busy. This can save you a fair amount of time, as thats all the killer is, trying to slow, and eventually stop, the clock.
    5. Snowball. Even a single survivors death can cause a ######### 0k to become a 4k, it's that impactful. Taking the earlier example, a slugged/hooked survivor, a rescuer, and the chased. Now, however, theres no dwight on gens. The clock has stopped (and may be going backwards if the gens are regressing), A second survivors death is almost a guaranteed death sentence.
  • If you are about to vault a window but the slinger has LOS, he will most likely take the shot. Don't vault, dodge to the side instead, he fires, then vault.

I think survivors should have something similar ro scratch marks but not quite the same. It makes sense for the killer to see them because hunting is their specialty. So give survivors some other clue as to whether or not another survivor is in the area.

Scratch marks are altering of the entity's realm left by movement in the lore. It could make sense for survivors to see other's scratch marks. Fixated allows one to see their own because they're (and I'm just making lore reasons why) in tune with their own interaction with the entity. Being a survivor would allow you to tune in to the markings others make. When you negate your own marks its because you're taking care not to influence the trial around you. A killer sees all the markings because the entity lets them, and all killers are human so can sense them easier in the first place; even demo who, since he has no eyes yet can see, has some other mechanism for sensing the marks.

Thinking about it, scratch marks have no real in lore reasoning on what they are. For all we know they're the visual representation of sensing a trail. They're not literal scratch marks, they're more of a feeling (which the predator perk is meant to tune, meaning sensing the marks, or at least sensing them better, is teachable) that someone has passed through here. It could be possible to perhaps teach a survivor how to do so, though since any interaction between the teacher (killer) and the student (survivor) ends in bloodshed it wouldn't normally happen unless the entity let it.

Fixated could work mixing the two, giving knowledge on how to read scratch marks, but only your own since you are in tune with how you do so.

No, I'm not interesting at parties.

  • I've got 1 cake. 40 bloodwebs, 1 cake.

    *cries*

  • Your normal killer is a street car. Slow, but easier to control.

Nurse is an F1 car. Incredibly hard to maintain control, but if you can she will outperform all the others.

Ok I thought it was just me I only got one hook grab ever since the re update and I thought it was because of my timing was off also is it just me or is survivors tanking through hits when unhooking more often as in they don't get wounded

You hit the hooked survivor. If you can just move a little and aim for the unhookers back

  • any thoughts?

  • They cant tell if you're console or not; freezes for PC player just look like stupid plays and the like

  • This is like saying that because the developers of call of duty say snipers are acceptable you should be able to play only on games where snipers are disabled.

For the last week(ish) I’ve noticed something weird about the many Legions I’ve been against.

    None of them use FF.

    Not even once.

And they’re not new players judging from their cosmetics. And in the post match I can see they’re either green or purple ranks.

    Its so strange.

I may have accidentally caused an uptake in stealth legions. Maybe.

We've all had the situations as survivor wher we get unhooked. Only to find that our savior has vanished into thin air, leaving us injured as you hear the heartbeat grow louder.

We've also been on the other end of the spectrum, where we pull a move so smooth brained that it puts us back on th hook.

Point is that it's not always the killer being a dick that causes the tunneling. Sometimes our teammates leave the killer no better option, or we put ourselves back on the hook with a bad decision.

Yes it sucks to be on the receiving end, but sometimes it just happens.

Ive been accused of tunnelling before when the survivor went out of their way to get in my way. Like what?

Yeah I tell him to go for good skill checks 😉

Maybe we could try one match SWF and one where he is solo, and see which he likes best.

Which comes my next issue, I don't wanna "boost" him 😶

wym by boost? As I said, rank 20-3 means nothing in terms of skill; all the hard players are at 1-2.

    • Leading a chase to a gen being worked on.

Most likely an accident, a survivor can rarely keep track of every other survivor without SWF

    • Or back to, or nearby, a hooked survivor. (or a slugged survivor).

Sometimes just happenstance, they went for save the same time the killer came back.

    • Survivors quite literally doing nothing. NOTHING!!! Yes, I can see you with my Bond and Open Handed. I understand a little idle play while you figure out what’s going on, or when it’s safe to do something, but DO SOMETHING!!!

    Ye this sucks lmao

    • Players that fast vault, or sprint into lockers, or sabo hooks nearby for no goddamn good reason other than to be a troll.

    Valid

    • Survivors rescued from a basement hook that then HEAL IN THE BASEMENT!!! Healing at a hook can be fine sometimes, BUT NOT IN THE BASEMENT YOU MORON!!!

Very situational. If you know the killer isn't nearby (especially chasing across the map) then this is usually done to save time; since the killer obviously wont give up a chase for it.

Is it the best idea to throw a new player into the deep end? I don't want to be a burden on the other two survivors.

Also they still miss skill checks frequently 🤣

Surprisingly, yes, as long as you're not rank 1/2 difficulty doesnt really change.

And tell him not to go for great checks yet, they're not worth it.

I still find this whole lullaby thing so strange. Why does he have it in the first place? Why does it sound so similar to his normal TR?

Huntress, Freddy, even Deathslinger have distinct cues. Why is Trickster's so vague?

Ranged killers have lullabies and such to warn you that they're in range, even if they're not particularly close yet; except freddy who just has it to replace his TR when asleep.

  • Let him play with your rank, just stick near him and guide him.

  • It's not "deliberate" as more like just how the two mechanics interact. I've used this to bait flashlight survivors into free hits over a pallets so many times.

  • Their cosmetics also get reset. Not lost, just back to default/

  • BHVR has said that once the lawsuit ends they will happily invite Jason in if the license holder allows it.
