Yep, the point of the post was personal experience(s). Which I clearly stated.

You make it sound as if having a frustrating day as a solo survivor is an anomaly. Pretty par for the course.
Literally said I personally don’t get frustrated often. I know it’s often frustrating for others.

Should come out January 7th.

I was playing some killer matches today, and I was pleasently surprised to get a good amount of actual meme-teams. People that genuily ######### around with their friends even on red ranks. I am happy to even give hatch versus those survivors.
Sounds really nice. Usually it’s just sweats who try to gen rush as fast as possible.

Meanwhile i'm trying to do the Dark Senses challenge and every game there's BM and potato teammates. Post game its a rank 16-20 killers and 3 rank 19-20 survivor teammates regardless of my rank. My new years resolution might be to just be done with this nonsense.
I was pretty fortunate with the dark sense challenge. Ironically, I had a good teammate that game who ran the killer around the whole match while I just worked on my objective. The killer (Doctor) turned out to be a rank 10 with one perk. That perk was overwhelming presence at tier 1... feels bad for him.

I think this is very reasonable.

Hell yeah!! Hag forever!!! OUR QUEEN WILL RISE!

It's mostly a preference. I play Hag so a lot of loops and safe spaces against most killers can be made unsafe with a well thought out trap. So having varied perk builds due to a wider variety of viable perks sounds more fun to face rather than a map rework.
There are overall issues that the maps have and I think the rng nature of them should be removed and replaced with different static versions of the same map. Scott Jund had a video about maps which I thought was pretty accurate.
Yeah okay, I get where you’re coming from. Though from personal experience, I’ve found there to be a lot of underrated perks that have definitely shown their viability. But agree, there are many perks that need looking at.

I agree, but it's a funny coincidence nonetheless.
I agree about the speediness of changes, but I would rather see perks changed before maps.
Perks before maps?? How come?

You don't need to get out of your way to get Corrupt Purge. Just keep infecting them and go to a closer pool when you have someone on the hook, so they must go for the safe while you have Corrupt Purge.
Well it also depends when and how often they cleanse, but yeah I agree.

Too weak even on her, survivors will just power through it. Plus, I started to see more survivors cleansing agaisnt Plague even in red ranks, so Thana really lost its value even on her.
I’ve seen it as well. The smarter ones will cleanse at a pool furthest away from the Plague, making her waste as much time as possible to collect it.
-
You should go check out @NMCKE post on a buff to Amanda. It’s very well thought out.
-
From what I’ve seen, wait times are so long at red ranks for survivors because there’s not enough red rank killers. That results in a lot of purple rank killers getting matched up with red rank survivors.
As for builds, I’ll offer some perks I like for all four of those killers you mentioned:
Hag (MY LOVE): Save The Best For Last is by far my favorite perk on her. For such a snowball effective killer, this works so well.
Corrupt Intervention is very nice of course as it gives Hag the time she needs to set up, but I don’t think it’s necessary the more you play Hag.
These other perks are also good on Hag:
Infectious Fright (Oh my, I’m in early testing with this and I think this could be absolute GREATNESS when paired with M&A!), Monitor & Abuse, Sloppy Butcher, Dark Devotion, I’m All Ears, Nurses Calling, Surge. I didn’t include Hexes for the fact that Hag doesn’t need them, but they are there if you feel like you need them.
I personally think you should try some of these perk combinations for yourself and see which fits your play style!
Add ons don’t matter a ton, but most are good.
I play the other three as well, but I haven’t done as much testing, unlike Hag who I have every perk for. I’ll share my builds anyways.
Trapper: STBFL, Pop Goes The Weasel, Sloppy Butcher and I’m All Ears. Any Trapper Bag Add on with either one of the Setting tools, or Tar Bottle.
You might want to switch out Sloppy or I’m All Ears for Corrupt or Ruin. I also use BBQ sometimes for the points. Discordance is also very nice.
Huntress: BBQ, Nurses, Agitation and Discordance. Wind up Add ons, Oak Haft, Extra Hatchets and the Exhaustion Add ons are all good.
You might want to use Ruin instead of Agitation or BBQ, as I personally switch it up at times. I want to eventually try I’m All Ears on her, could be nice. You might enjoy Shadow born on her, as it can be nice for the hatchets. Whispers is quite nice in its own right. Brutal Strength is nice as well!
Plague: Ruin, Pop Goes The Weasel, Thanaphobia and BBQ. The wind up speed for Vile Purge is really good, as are The effectiveness ones. Corruption increased timer is fine if they cleanse. The rest of the add ons are okay.
I haven’t tested a lot on Plague. As with most killers, Discordance is very good (Tier 1!). Nemesis/Play with your Food combo seems good on her, but I haven’t personally tested it out myself. Infectious Fright is good for corruption.
Hope I was at least somewhat of a help!

Do you understand the RBT changes? It might be hard to understand because I'm not the best at putting thoughts into words. 😂
I was a little lost on the passive part and it actually does lol.
-
Hard between these four:
-
American Dragon, Kim Possible and The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody are the top 3. I also loved ‘That’s so Raven’, Wizards of Waverley Place and Phil of the Future. Hannah Montana was a guilty pleasure of mine. Good luck Charlie was also very enjoyable.
-
“Ambushing an occupied survivor will automatically grab them” Why isn’t this a thing already?! I love it.
-
But totems never spawn in the basement? So survivors would know not to cleanse it. Plus I don’t think it could be designed that way to have the hooks spawn mid game.

Yeah she’s a camper. Never met one who doesn’t camp and go all out to protect her hexes. It’s a great killer for a camper because they can hide behind just playing as she is designed, but in reality she appeals to the campiest of campers.
You can’t dispute any of what I said because it’s all true.

@Karaage said:
My first thought was that it is a situational perk. Like when the Survivors are super committing to the last Generator so that they can do a clutch play with Adrenaline, this perk would counter it. But since this perk would change game's objective from doing 5 Generators to doing 5.5 Generators, maybe it would be strong enough to use it more commonly? Maybe you could buff it slightly, like let's say, when last generator is completed it's repair progression is brought down like You said, but also all other generators are brought down to 0? That would be
evilinteresting experience for survivors.That’s a bit too evil xD but thanks for your feedback!
-
It’s not even close IMO.

Yep 100%.

Maybe make it so she can’t place traps within a certain radius of a hooked person. I mean the hag is nothing more than a long range camper.
I definitely disagree. She’s so much more than a “long range camper”. Shes one of the best snowball killers in the game if not, THE best. She’s the best defensive killer in the game, great at anti loop, great with pressure as a whole, has great perk synergy, has a high skill cap, isn’t add on dependent....

I second this.
-
Best perk in the game without the bloodpoints?? Lol no.
-
Same thing happened to me. Please nerf him!
-
It doesn’t exist, it’s an idea. I’d see it being somewhat as a time saver, and a decent chase perk. I could see it being used around unsafe loops , T/L walls, (seldom) Jungle gyms. People might use it if they don’t want to break a certain safe pallet, though that would probably be ineffective as you’d probably need to break it anyways and couldn’t get a second hit.
There’s a lot of perks that don’t get love in the game as of right now. It could be a possibility that this wouldn’t either. Tis why I’m open to criticism (:
EDIT: Grammar.

Or... maybe no one is identified as any sexuality? And anyone can decide who a certain person is, so there isn’t any controversy (as in, people disagreeing about a cannon -if it were to happen- characters sexuality, which this game doesn’t need). I see a lot of people shipping certain characters and telling stories about their sexuality, whether it’s straight, gay, lesbian, etc. People use their imagination and they’re free to think what they want, which is what it should be.
I’m not sure why you bring up these, “same sex” perk ideas? If the devs were to create a cannon gay survivor, it would only be their backstory, not their perks. Luckily for everyone, I’m pretty sure no one has a cannon sexuality as a survivor.

I wouldn’t say any specific words, but one thing I actually despise are trends. Trends are what make this world a POS (one of). I guess that can include using certain words or memes.
-
I personally love Hag, even before she was buffed. I think a lot of people don’t like the strategic part of hag as they just want to go out there and hunt survivors.
-
Any movie that isn’t Christmas themed.
-
I still want a shadow killer.

At this point you are doint the same as consider the vaults on the edge of macmillan and autohaven maps as loops
You’ve made this conversation pointless and quite frankly I’m thinking you’re no longer taking it serious (bringing up the corner vaults on Macmillan stating they’re loops as if I was talking about the frozen meat room being a loop which I clearly wasn’t. I was saying it was a vault because you said there wasn’t any. ), so allow me to end it by saying “The Game” Map is quite balanced and can be either slightly killer or survivor sided depending on the killer. I don’t think vaults are going to matter when there’s like 25 pallets on the map, it includes the meat grinder fall, the best T/L wall in the game.
-
Stop saying Ace you sick people! Obvious choice is Laurie and Legion. Even if Legion is already gone.

You can loop the red room if the pallet is there. Sometimes it's not and it's just a dead tile. Though still good for juking because you can hide your blood, even if the killer has Bloodhound.
Idk.. if the survivor even gets one loop off (max) they’re getting hit regardless unless they have a (really) good use of DH. Maybe in a situation where the killer spots the survivor further away and engages at a decent distance that would allow the survivor to pull that off? Maybe. It is good to hide your blood though for sure! Better have Iron will to go with it.

That t wall is normal size and it is the only one. The frozen room is not really loopable because of the meat.
No it’s definitely enlarged or at least better in some sort of way than a normal T/L wall. Didn’t say the meat locker one is loopable, just saying it is a vault. Don’t forget the meat grinder vault and the vault above the bathroom with the security cameras.
-
@DepressedClownMain said:
Well, the map has no vault locations, and while the pallets seems safe you don't loop them because they are often a long that requires you to drop them instantly, which leads to an arguement whether or not these pallets are safe. Also, totem spawns in this map are pretty good, and this map helps big TR and Stealth killers at the same time because of the million line of sight blockers or the constant terror radius that you dont know is in your floor. And, some popular perks here are greatly boosted on the killers side, like spine chill that is always on and nurses calling that is always on range. I think these reasons make it a killer sided map
Does have that enlarged T/L wall, jungle gym window and the frozen meat room window. I disagree with the pallets. There’s only the red room you can’t really loop and the two corner ones. I agree stealth killers are good, but that by itself doesn’t make the map a killer sided one in general. I talked about totem spots being good already in my OP. I think there’s a lot of good perks for both sides to be used on this map.
-
I feel like there’s always room to improve with each killer. Especially when a new update/chapter comes. It terms of who I feel best with, I’ll go with Hag, Spirit and Wraith.

but a few pallets wont make a difference, if a survivor dced in the loading before match cancellations you would spawn with one less gen to do, and this helped me alot during that time
Rarely do I see a DC early in a match. It’s most likely going to happen late game, where it’s a close match. With a gen or two left, the killer would get cheated out of a win.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
Before they gutted Balanced Landing, yes. It was definitely a survivor map.
Now... maybe. There are a lot of safe pallets but for a lot of killers this map is really strong. Really the only killers that are disadvantaged on Game are Trapper and Billy.
I’d argue the most the killers you didn’t mention aren’t at a disadvantage OR advantage on this map. It’s actually quite nice.
-
No, neither should. A full gen worth of progress in a literal blink of an eye can be detrimental as a killer. Maybe reset of a couple pallets, but that at most.
-
@MegMain98 said:
It’s strong for survivors if they are conservative with pallets and get generators done fast. Once the pallets are gone the whole map is a dead zone. There is almost no vaults on the map so there is nothing keeping survivors safe besides the unmindgamable safe pallets.
Luckily for survivors the map is full of safe pallets that the killer HAS to break and the pallets seem endless so rarely do they run out of pallets before all the generators pop.
The map is definitely favored toward survivors because most of the pallets are safe. If they just throw down pallets and go through them quickly then the match will quickly turn into the killer’s favor.
And even then, they don’t have to be THAT conservative. And at high ranks, rarely do you see someone waste pallets and a high rate unless it’s a low rank SWF. But yeah, I do agree.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
Why is it a huge disadvantage for the survivor team when somebody dc's at death hook??
This could be easily abused: "I'm dead anyway - here mates, get a free gen!"
It would also be a "counter" to the 3-gen-scenario where the survs would only have to sacrifice one of them to solve their problem.
Pretty much this.
@TheLegendDyl4n1 said:
I think a way to help survivors who feel at a loss if the first person who gets downed DC's or if they are tunnelled they DC, is to have whenever a survivor DC's make it to where a random generator that is at 0% progression to completed, now if all Generators have been tapped or worked on then have the lowest progressed Generator be completed immediately. This would be great AFTER the new DC penalties are introduced, so it stops people from DCing if they are on death hook or something similar.
this just helps so that after they are introduced and about after a week of people realizing they cant rage quit or be punished, then this can be implemented as well to help the times where your at a huge disadvantage due to a survivor DCing.
Thoughts?
Also the killer shouldn’t be punished because of another’s action IMO.
