It's surprising that it's an unpopular opinion, because it's a very easy map to do long chases on if you know where pallets are. 15-20 completely safe pallets on that map.
I actually just remembered the underneath the stairs pallets and the drop down ones (there’s also the upstairs around the corner ones, but I don’t find those always completely safe). So 15-20 safe pallets might be that range.

My thoughts:
- Please use paragraphs next time. The large, compacted piece of writing hurt my eyes 👁.
- I’d rather see a complete rework to Ruin and a slight nerf to gen speeds (nothing major) and/or decent nerf to toolboxes.
- I want map reworks to come into play where each side has a fair chance at winning, which Ruin wouldn’t have a fair place, (IMO. I don’t think Ruin is needed now, especially on fair maps, but on more survivor sided maps it can be extremely difficult and stressful. Reworking maps to be fair makes Ruin not needed and probably too strong. It would basically be a crutch.) thus, Ruin is reworked.

It isn't, though.
All the loops and safe pallets don't change the fact that the generator RNG is way too likely to result in an easy 3 or even 4-Gen setup, which has always been the main reason the map is killer-sided. Even BL being super strong on the map didn't stop it from having one of the lowest escape rates.
Hmm weird. I haven’t really experienced that myself. Especially with coordinated groups (whether I’m a killer or survivor).
-
Can’t go wrong with any of them tbh.

If you think this is even remotely balanced, you're a biased survivor main.
I actually play way more killer than I do survivor. As for the video, Tru3 was basically playing a zero perk pig against a 3or4man SWF. One DC and he killed another (head pop albeit). The one thing to notice on DBD are their stupid god loops, which exist on many maps. That’s the one thing that needs fixing for better balance, like I mentioned in one of my earlier posts.

"People just complain too much and can never fault themselves as a reason why they’ve lost a game."
That's rich considering killers keep getting nerfed due to survivors complaining constantly over losing a single match.
I meant people in general. I’m not talking ‘Killer vs Survivor’.

Then why does every patch nerf killer further into the ground despite already under-performing?
You’re just lying to yourself if you really believe that.
Over the past year and a half or so, a lot of killers has received some sort of buff or was already strong.
Trapper, Wraith, Hag, Freddy were all killers that received buffs (or rework for Freddy). Trapper and Hag had their add ons reworked (for the better) and had speed increased to their traps (distance also for Hag). Wraith also got a great add on rework and great buff to his Basekit. And of course Freddy not too long ago had his complete rework that has made him real strong (And they rightfully nerfed forever Freddy, which was deserved). Now Doctor is up next.
In terms of nerfs for killers, it hasn’t really impacted them at all. Spirit and Nurse are still ridiculously strong. Yet, they’re definitely more balanced.
How ever you feel about Legion is debatable, but I personally don’t see a difference and do just fine with them.
I think the Oni change is a bit controversial, but he still can do quite well in my experience playing with him.
I always have success with each and every killer at rank 1 and see most of them in a good spot. All I would like to see soon is some map reworks.

I find the game pretty balanced (with a couple hiccups) for the most part, when playing both roles.
Sometimes it can be more frustrating to play Killer, but that's the nature of the role I suppose :) Try and have fun!

This one is hilarious! good joke.
Sorry you lose sometimes and think your life as a DBD player is over. People just complain too much and can never fault themselves as a reason why they’ve lost a game. Think what you want, but DBD continues to become more and more balanced as it updates.
-
Game is pretty close to being balance quite honestly.
-
Freddy because I miss old Freddy ):
-
Well, I got yelled at for using lightborn..
Even though I didn’t actually use it.
-
It would be a great addition to the game honestly.
-
I play both pretty evenly at rank one. Killer is 100% more stressful, and quite frankly it isn’t very close.

And rude players such as yourself is what makes this game toxic. I'm almost to the point of where I don't enjoy the game anymore and will move on to another game. I'm a high rank survivor btw so I know what I'm doing. Yes let's buff every killer but nerf everyone that's a survivor. SMH.
Don’t be so sensitive just because someone doesn’t agree with you. He wasn’t rude at all.
-
I prefer discordance (Tier 1) over surveillance personally.
-
I went ahead and nabbed joeys and tapps.
-
Iron Maiden should make all survivors exposed for the rest of the game.
I like the ideas! I definitely was thinking the same idea for Unnerving, Overwhelming, etc.

Honestly, 0. But since this is not available, I go for 1, because I think Huntress needs it, because she has the worst Map Pressure.
You don’t think Clown needs it?
-
100% for both. Doesn’t matter the killer.

@GrannyonAcid said:
Brutal Strength doesn't need a buff. If a perk is a common killer perk that's used it's probably in a good spot or OP. I don't think there's very many OP killer perks. But I feel like Brutal is in a fine spot as it is.
I disagree. I thinks it need a slight buff.

I can't say I approve, but I can say I see how this would be fun. I do approve of you giving one the hatch after you experimented.... holy crap you were BEING THE DOCTOR!

@TunnelVision Wrong, because he admits to choosing to reapply the effect if they succeeded the checks.
That is holding the game hostage. The doctor gets nothing out of standing over you spraying insanity for no other reason but to stop you from being able to play. The survivors can literally do nothing but those skill checks over and over again because he is reapplying the effect if they succeed. That is the definition of 'holding the game hostage'.
They all made to tier 3 no more than 3 times. Most of the game I didn’t use my shock therapy since I had low terror radius with my add ons in punishment mode.
-
You did really well, considering what you went up against.

I wish unnerving presence stacked on a extra 5 or 8% regression I like using it with huntress lullaby
Could be a nice change. Would have synergy with other perks.

@Mat_Sella said:
My thing is, Unnerving Prescence makes it super easy to land Great skill checks...why did they not make it so the Great Skill Check Success Zone was also decreased?
That would be a great change to make. It doesn’t makes sense why they would do that.

I would honestly say none of them need ruin because against really good survivors ruin is pretty pointless and you'd be better off with a different perk. I've had a few 6-7 minute games with ruin still up as killer and survivor both.
You don't see it too often but against those groups you're just better off using something else.
If were talking standard players then I'd say they all could benefit from it but Billy, Spirit, Nurse, and Freddy are all good enough where it's hardly necessary.
Ruin is going to waste time. Even if it’s only a little bit. It makes a difference. Especially for killers like Clown and Leatherface that don’t get any pressure at all other than chasing 1 survivor at a time. If the other 3 are doing gens early on, how is a killer like that going to win? Remember, we’re taking into account that the survivors are optimal and rarely make any mistakes. Your 6-7 minute game with Ruin up would’ve turned into a 3-4 minute game without Ruin. You have to take that into account.
-
i love the mind breaker change. It actually has some use.
I think ‘Cruel Limits’ needs to be changed back to ‘Cruel Confinement’ (: And are we talking all vaults? On the entire map? At first this seems a bit too strong. Not on all maps though. I do like it.
The surge Idea is interesting. I’d very much like to test that out in game.

Imagining it, the creepy and weird design (my opinion. I just can’t see it being funny or whatever it’s suppose to bring off) and my brain tells me straight no. I might have a fear of humans dressed in animal suits D:

To give you some back ground and insight of this character:
George Markley was an honest, hardworking blacksmith, until a man named Nathan wrongfully accused George of theft, and threatened to banish him from the town they lived in. Knowing he was innocent, George stood up to Nathan and refused to move, causing Nathan and his gang to one day beat George's wife and children to death.
George attacking Nathan and his gang.
Enraged, George tracked down Nathan and his friends, and brutally beat them to death with his sledgehammer. When the town discovered what George had done, they dragged him back to his shop where they tied him to a tree and drove railroad spikes into his body with his own sledgehammer, slowly killing him.
Then, as a finishing touch, they cut off George's hand, and fixed George's sledgehammer in its place.
With this, I feel like I chose wisely!
-
Haven’t seen it, but I voted for Hammer. Cool name.
-
Reasonable tier list 👍🏿 If I could make one change, it would be to lower Ghostface and raise Hag.

@PistolTimb said:
All trapper's traps should start off sabo'd until a gen is done. This killer is too broken normally .
I’d say at least until two or three gens are done. If it’s only one gen, the trapper is given too much time to place previous sabo’d traps, which don’t have counterplay.
-
Frames do seem lowered for sure.

I like it!

I believe the hag needs a serious buff. I feel, playing as her, getting bullied by survivors all the time! I think she has more potential with her traps. I feel she should have a combination of the spirit's power and the demogorgon. Set down a trap, go and stand on the trap, then being able to burrow through the ground like a mole granting her an additional speed bonus. Of course, the traps still go off, but there should be an add-on like that. I mean she is of mud so why couldn't she? Does anyone agree she needs a buff?
No, Hag is very strong and one of the best killers in the game. She’s an Area Of Control killer or AOC. She excels at pressure in general, anti loop and late game. If you’re straying away from a certain area that you’ve put traps in, (which should be in an area where you’re protecting generators -NOT RIGHT BY THEM-, typically between 3-5, chaining loops and routes, etc.) you will lose if they’re competent survivors. She has a lot of very good perk combinations, and isn’t very add on dependent. I can go into more depth if you like. Or, you can check out one of my older posts about her.

Sounds and looks great. Adams needs all he can get! And this is a good one!
