Bonus: what, in the other role, deserves a buff?
For survivors I think toolboxes and keys need nerfs/reworks. For instance the total repair speed increase should be capped at around 10% and toolboxes and add ons should focus on other things, like noise reduction, increasing great skill check reward and size, and soft counters to perks like Surveillance and Discordance. The purple key should only allow one person to escape and both keys should need to be channeled to unlock the hatch (time could be reduced with add ons).
For killers, I think Leatherface should be better at more things than camping and needs an add on rework. Trapper should carry 2-3 traps by default. And perks like Monstrous Shrine, Mindbreaker, Unrelenting etc need buffs or reworks. For instance, Unrelenting could be made so with each successful hit with your basic attack you get a token and after acquiring 3-4 tokens, your next missed attack has a 65-70-75% reduction in cooldown.
I think survivors have upper hand on coms, and borrowed time can be a pain. That being said most survivor perks are to counter toxic killer behavior like tunneling a camping.
Killers need speed and lunge nerfs. Possibly more pallets added to the game. I’d nerf all one hit down mechanics and add ons for sure. Thanks for the post.

Literally one of the worst experiences of my life I was playing spirit on nurses map (they offered a map offering) I was downing people pretty fast and I was trying to “pressure gens” but they just kept pushing out gens I couldn’t do anything and on top of that they loved to tbag I mean the devs really need to do something about gens and gen time it’s ridiculous at how fast they can go against a good team and it’s really starting to push me off of killer it’s just a horrible experience and I’m at the point where I just dread playing killer
You should stop. Just play survivor or a different game for a bit.

All killers equally, really. Plague is a big one that gets a lot of DC's.
Doc isn't even close to OP. When *literally everyone* in your thread complaining about him told you it was because you needed to get better, they were right. Especially when there's a perk that counters his power entirely making him just an M1 killer.
Can you upload a vid of you as survivor going against doc, so we can learn to be as awesome as you?

waow
Imagine a survivor main complaining about something when they have the easiest role in the game.
Imagine sitting on a forum all day just to flock to survivor posts to say how bad a player they are and how easy game is for survivors. Yeah, pathetic huh? Git gud

All killers should have the same mobility. It's impossible to balance a game where killers are as different as Pig vs Billy. Billy can travel the map in seconds, 1 shot down and instantly travel the map again, no cooldown. Pig without whispers+m&a has to crouch through the map to be able to stealth someone. Did you choose the wrong way? You just lost 2 gens, congrats.
IMO the balance problem isn't gen repair time, it's all about killers mobility. This is why Billy, Freddy and Spirit are the best killers in this game, they can travel the map and end chases fast.
What do you guys think?
I agree. They need to give them all the same speed so survivors know what to expect. You change their speeds, lunge range, and throw in one hit down chainsaws and it’s just too obnoxious. Lunge ranges should be nerfed I think. Good post.

They need to make it so your timer (struggle) stops ticking down when killer is within a certain distance. Not a crazy distance but enough to monitor face camping and give everyone a chance to be rescued and play the game. That way they can camp all day, but you won’t die until they leave. It would end face camping as we know it.

Ok that was funny.

For me:
-Spirit Fury, it's complete BS (and boring to counter by throwing pallets like a rank 20) and it makes trash killers who can't loop actually feel like they're good at the game.
-Sprint Burst. It's freaking annoying to go or sneak to a survivor only to have him sprint to a window or a pallet. It requires 0 skill and the reward is too much and it can't really be countered (though rarely I have countered it by predicting where they'd sprint to). Also I noticed that bad survivors tend to use sprint and good ones tend to use Dead Hard. Dead Hard on the other hand, requires some skill to use and it can be countered by predicting it, it's balanced.
What are your least favourites perks to go against?
Noed for killer and slippery meat for survivor.

@Advorsus said:
I think the huge consensus is.... They don't. Most people don't think killers need any more nerfs. What's more important to point out, a lot of survivors who actually have experience have expressed their opinion that killers are either balanced or under powered right now. But none seem to be actually overpowered. And as someone who also plays both sides, I've never felt like a lost a game as survivor because the killer was just too strong. Usually it's because I made a mistake, or a few mistakes.
But I have a question for the one who posted this. You've made multiple posts trying to call people to rise up and say that killers or a specific killer is overpowered. Yet no one actually agrees with you. So what are you trying to accomplish? Are you just looking for attention? Or are you trying to find other players who are just as bad at the game as you are? You're like that one person who starts a slow clap and nobody else starts clapping lol
Well obviously killers will say none. No one cares what they think. I’m talking to those who play both and to survivors. Thanks though and god bless.

I was on that Crotus map with that building in the middle. I found a survivor, downed and hooked, the chase wasn’t too long.
I go off to find other survivors. Hooked survivor gets rescued so I go back to down them, after another chase, again not short but not being looped for days, I down them again. Put them on the hook.
4 gens done. 2 hooks total. Ridiculous.
This was with a new build running CI and whispers.
I am trying to avoid using hexes, ie Ruin and NOED.
I don’t know how to play anymore. High rank Killer on console is the absolute worst experience.
Cuz you went back to tunnel person off hook instead of patrolling gens.

Is this another anti-killer post from you again? You're always complaining about killers and how they need nerfed. Doc is in a very good position now. Just because a killer beats you doesn't mean they are OP or "annoying". Unless annoying is when you get outplayed/lose. Doc still has plenty of counters but he completely counters stealth play. If static blast is a problem for you then use a locker or Calm Spirit for safety. His ability to shut down loops is phenomenal. So waiting for him at a loop isn't a good idea. I don't know if you play killer or what rank survivor you are but playing both sides can give you much needed perception on how things look from both sides.

About halfway done now.
When i play killer i see the same numbers. I get a lot of 3 and 4ks with hardly any 0's and the odd 1 in there.
Funny. The killer mains keep crying about how hard and unfair the game is but all data shows otherwise. Even the streamers who complain do so while getting 4ks on stream, it’s stupid funny.

Red rank potatoes: There are tons of players in red ranks while they shouldnt becuz of SWF they dont learn the ropes just get carried so hard.Emblem system fault too..
Matchmaking:If there is a rank 2 and 3 lvl 20 you get a red rank so basically killer fun get ruined. I suppose those rank 2 doesnt get fun by being easy prey.
Gen rush and comms: No need to say that 2-3 gens done in 2 mins is not funny.
Tryharding/toxic play/camping/tunneling: All becuz of the gen rush it make killers play sweaty and dirty also as survivors doesnt have fun BHVR proceed with nerfs till one day game die cuz no one wanna be bullied.
Make casual and ranked play and you will see health of the game increased.
Yeah play with friends is fun but you killing the game. Where will be the fun when game is gone?
There’d be no players. Playing solo sucks most the time and the majority of survivors today are swf on some degree.

To be perfectly honest, once I started interacting with the facebook groups is when I noticed just how one sided the community is. I got kicked from three groups just for making memes that mocked survivors and their toxic habits. That really just confirmed for me that the community was survivor heavy and more toxic than described. I still have a picture that complied with the "no names in screenshots" rules that got denied because apparently there were names despite me blatantly cropping themnout. That's when I knew survivor mains ran the entire Dbd community.
I had some good times but no where near enough to keep me playing the game. I got to rank 13 survivor in less than a day, another point of contention. I was winning match after match after match as a survivor with little to no perks. It's when it dawned on me that killers are truly at every disadvantage within the game. Looping came quick to me, pallets were abundant when I needed them, skill checks were mundane and nearly consistent. I knew that once I had some teachable perks under my belt that the game would be a cake walk. I had another "a-ha!" Moment when I had that thought. So many survivors able to blind me so long, narrowly escape a lunge, bring themselves up from a dying state, and any number of crazy abilities that did nothing but frustrate me as a killer. Survivors inherently, even without perks, can absolutely run the table on even a red rank killer.
I could list for days why this is the abject truth, but instead I'll have survivor mains retort with any number of insults, challenges, and overall cognitive dissonance regarding their upper niche within the community. To those that feel the need to be toxic in the responses to this post, denying established fact.
I'm just going to delete the game and wait until a week after ragnarok for the devs to finally balance what's broken.
So you don’t play yet frequent the forums and Facebook pages? Weird

Try Calm Spirit and drop pallets early instead of waiting at them; you wouldn't have to complain on the forums then.
You’re comparing 3 second perks that have massive cool downs to a killer main power? I just want to make sure I’m understanding because the stupidity on this forum is outta this world.
Fun idea, stop camping hooks and tunneling off hook and ds won’t be an issue for you ;)

If this game just dies. Let all this nerd rage leave your system. It's clear the majority aren't mature enough or care enough to just be nice or do different things. This game is worse than when I tried CS:GO after playing 1.6>CS:Source for years. Communities make and break a game. Even if this game sucks but the community was great? It would be tolerable. But when their game isn't in a great position and the community is even worse? You're literally just killing the game.
A house divided cannot stand, and we have more division than people coming together. We have more hate and saltiness than empathy and love. Many people play games as an outlet for their pain and to just try and escape and forget about it if only for a few moments. But what happens when the game you enjoy now becomes an addition and maybe even a catalyst?
If you want the game to survive, I'd advise you to find ways to ban toxic players. (Maybe Killers get speed buffs vs Survivors who are teabagging and if they teabag at the gates they depip. Make the punishment harsh.) And to find out what the biggest problems of the game are and throw all of your resources into that and not other add-ons or cosmetics or storyline. None of that will matter if the player base is leaving.
I play on the PS4. I don't nerd rage, I value my peace and do what I can to stay at peace. I don't play much survivor but when I do, I tell people up front I suck at skill checks and they should go to a different gen if they see me on one. Haha. I've been face camped, tunneled etc. I'm ok with it. It can be hard to win with 4* survivors, and if I know one person has one hook left, one more hit vs someone who's had 1 hook and healthy? I'll tunnel that last survivor to increase my chances of winning. (3 survivors left.) It's like an RPG game. You have all four of your characters on your side focus on one so that you can down the enemies quicker. Rather than you using all four to 1on1.
Sorry for being all over. I liked the game but also uninstalled (still watch online and see where the game is in forums) because it's the community that's hard to handle. I've got enough mental health issues, I don't need other players telling me to kill myself and to go buy razors and make friends with them. No one needs that rage/hatred/toxicity in their life.
It’s fun to rile up the nerds but games still fun most the time. I play with two buddies and I always look forward to it. One sucks though and gets us killed most the time.

So with everyone on the rampage with the ruin nerf, forums ablaze and all that fun stuff, I've been trying to keep out of it a little bit and just, see what happens.
But honestly... Playing a killer isn't fun anymore. Unless I'm playing like a #########, running mori, proxy camping and overall being 'toxic', it's literally a game of 'if I make one mistake, I lose.'
That is the reality of the state of the game. If you make one solid mistake as the killer, you have lost the game. For some killers that are really strong - this isn't the case, they may have good endgame bounceback potential, and it may also depend on your perks. But unless you're preparing for failure chances are that's not the case.
If you choose to chase a survivor that just so happens to be higher than your skill level and you lose a chase or get ran on some of the much stronger loops in the game? You're going to see gen after gen pop and by the time you've hooked one person the game is over unless you're running something like NOED.
The skill level to do well as a killer is SO much more intense than that to do well as a survivor. You have to be incredibly conscious of what pallets have been dropped, who's where on the map at all times, what loops to win and how to run them to win them.
As survivor, you have to have a vague knowledge of how to run and mindgame those loops but at the same time... All you have to do is waste the killers time and gens are going to get flown through.
The game isn't fun as a survivor.
The game isn't fun as a killer.
The game isn't fun, anymore.
I think the devs are trying but it’s hard to balance a game like this one. That being said, they do need to step it up and really fix the current issues before any more chapters or dlcs. Gen times, map sizes, hit boxes, wait times in lobby, and ranking. Those should all be top priority!!!

- Insidious Ebony mori Camping Bubba. Happened in 3 games yesterday
