It definitely needs a buff. Also it's a really fun perk to play against when killers have it

I'll starting sending you videos in the future than. Because we have gotten way more salt about killers losing pips because we died on first hook. Because at least if we waited until the end of the game, they could keep their rank. Because if all four survivors die on first hook, the killer depips.
In short, lots of killers have gotten salty over it.
Well personally I dont care about pipping. Rank is so screwed and you dont even get anything from it.

It sounds like you slugged without knowing where hatch or the 4th survivor was. Which even though is a legal tactic, it's considered a scummy tactic by most sane people. It's not skill getting you a 4k, it's not even luck, you are using a tactic that basically ensures a 4k you might have not gotten.
I honestly don't care if you do this, when me and my friends encounter players like this we just mark them down, and die on first hook if we ever get them again. And if you feel like it's fair to slug and search for an unknown 4th player because it's something the game allows you to do, guess what, the game also allows you to die on first hook.
To be honest, I do love when My Friends and I get a killer who slugged for a 4k again and we all Die on first hook, that sweet sweet try hard sweat complaining about de-pipping. lol
I dont care if you die on first hook and I dont think any killer would. That just helps the killer win

I'm sorry but DCing is not cheating in any way either especially with the inconsistent DC ban and loss of points and pip (if they even care for it of course) . Taking the game for hostage and dragging it out for to long is by far more cheat worthy . A survivor won't just leave his ass on the ground waiting for the killer to either look for the other survivor or hatch. Unbreakable is quite literally the only perk that helps out survivors when being slug in the 2v1. To be clear I have no problem in general with slugging, I sometimes do slug, but never to drag the game out expecting the survivor to say: Understandable continue on searching for my only hope on actually doing a thing. To each their own honestly the same way you think I have a bad character, it the same way I think about you when you typed that survivors should just accept being slugged in the 2v1 situation.
DCing for hatch is cheating. It's not an intended action of the game. You need to reconsider your beliefs

From somebody who absolutely hates getting slugged at the last two survivors. You are basically taking the game for hostage to get a cheap 4K IMO (especially solo Queque) . There is only one survivor perk that works extremely well against slugging and that is Unbreakable which is by itself a completely situational perk. So I think it's fine for a survivor the DC to get hatch. Especially if the game just takes longer than it should have. At least the DC ban penalty is here to help you a bit against that cheese. If the killer cheeses to win I don't see why a survivor can't.
That logic is so utterly fuckked up. The killer is not cheating in any way unlike the survivor. Slugging is completely acceptable and part of the game. It's not a cheap 4k at all. At that point the killer earned it and the survivors lost and should man up and take the loss. Shows your bad character loud and clear

it would be sooo much coincidance 🤣
Was it not you?

If you play fair, they'll let you get the 4K, if you're a scummy killer, well, DC is worth more than bloodpoints in that match.
Not really a good excuse to cheat

the living teammate was a Meg with white clothes?
because I think it was me 😅
Nooo way 😂 it was a white Meg. Was on ps4, downed survivor was a Kate, Haddonfield, and I was playing Huntress

Nice 😂

Actually seems to be a group of the killer's worst nightmare.
Meg - Sprint Burst, Adrenaline
Jake - Saboteur (After this patch, might be nerfed.), Calm Spirit
David - Dead Hard
Bill - Borrowed Time, Unbreakable
Dwight - Prove Thyself
If only Laurie was in that lobby too.
Very true

Many havent had ancestors from Africa in centuries. Other races dont say Asian-American, Russian-American etc. Just saying

Hes not from Africa tho just America I'm quite sure

Yeah, I think both Phillip (Wraith) and Herman (Doctor) are African-American. So is Lisa (Hag) I believe. I haven’t checked up on the wiki or discussions about Killers’ origins recently though.
Pretty sure they are just American, not African

Hes great if you know how to use him. Throw on Inisidous, Iron Grasp, and Agitation and you have a really good camping kit that will work against alot of survivors
-
Keys should disappear if you dont use them within 3 minutes. I dont understand how it's fair for survivors to have a key the whole match
-
Hitboxes are fine stop complaining

Why are people requesting this?

The reason here being, at least for me, because I like to put bloodpoints back into the characters I get them from. If I play freddy for an hour, then I want to put an hours worth of bloodpoints into freddy to get my add ons back. If not, then I've just lost my entire collection of drawings and ropes, leaving me with blocks, forever freddy, or nothing.
Plus, playing killer for an hour is something you do if you're below rank 13 or if you're a masochist.
Or just dont use addons or offerings when grinding bp. That's what I do. Then you didnt use any items and therefore dont need to put that bp into the character you were using. Boom simple solution.
-
Who cares? First off not many killers use Franklin's and if they did its prolly cuz the lobby was full of keys and annoying items. Second, lets say you lost a green toolbox with a couple decent addons to Franklin's one game. No big deal it's so easy to replace and this is the risk of bringing items. You are not guaranteed to escape and keep said item
-
Every multiplayer game is super grindy. That's why I almost exclusively play DBD. Just dont have time to play every game and try to level up and unlock stuff in each. That's why I dont like this new battlepass trend

XD fr tho. Bugs me how some people only play survivor

I think way more killers than you think would consistently mori as fast as possible.
Just look at Deathgarden, no matter the incentive for hunters to not instantly execute it was probably the most complained about thing in the game. No matter the balance moris (and since it seems obligatory to mention when talking about them, the same goes for keys) can be incredibly anti-fun.
I would definetly mori whenever I felt like it. Getting kills any way possible is a win imo. There is no purpose to rank up anyways so I'd just depip and not even care as long as I win (kill people)
-
Why dont you play killer for an hour and farm bp? Then use it all on your survivors.

It's because for every 1 killer queuing up you need 4 survivors. The devs don't want too many people playing as killer just to do archive challenges. Which would screw up queue times for everybody.
Yea if there was a sufficient amount of killers right now. But there isnt there is a deficit. If 20% of survivor mains started playing killer, queues would be so much better
-
Wait what happened when you sabotaged trappers stuff? I didnt even know that was a thing until like 2 weeks ago and I never did it
-
Keys need a hatch animation but Moris are fine as is

How about we appreciate having a diverse collection of indoor and outside maps?

That is what happens when games are no longer made to be purely fun or entertaining, but are now made to make players feel so invested in a game that it doesn't matter how little fun they are having, they still do not quit, because they feel too invested to quit.
Thats why single player games are generally the way to go. You buy the game for a set price, play the game until completion, have fun doing so, and move on. There are no cosmetics to buy, no real money ingame purchases, and no battlepass. I have realized this recently. I still have alot of fun in DBD and certain other multiplayer games but when I do finally lose interest I will likely stay away from future multiplayer games. There is too much grind and it takes too much time.
-
As someone that plays killer a majority of the time, I really didnt see a problem with sabo before. I'd just drop the survivor and start slugging everyone. Plus like you said, if survivors are saboing then they aren't doing gens. Also it was pretty rare that survivors would even be trying to sabo hooks
-
Just dont go to exit gates or run up and hit them and they'll scurry away

Actually it won't lol survivors que already take long. But that's due to the rank system. None the less they're not tanked to the ground. I've played both sides. It's easy to end a match in 2 min just by slugging ppl with a one shot mech.
And while yes ppl can use lights and disarm traps, they still don't need infinite amounts. While someone can use a light to removed 6x of her traps, she can still "soft camp" still making it nearly impossible to save anyone. Not everyone likes to carry a flash light. Not to mention if you're the only survivor alive. 9/10 I see trappers patrolling and leaving traps in front of the door handle. If you disarm the trap he will approach. Since the doors are so close to one another and he can hear when it goes off. Making it unfair chance for a survivor to escape.
I personally never carry anything in any match. I prefer looking into chests and I'm usually in stealth mode anyways. So I'm talking more so for the general. Sorry if some killer main get too hurt and wanna whine instead of actually having a civil discussion.
Nah survivor queues would get even longer if less people played killer

Post your purchase receipts on the forums or wheevrer to continue getting your complaint out to the devs

I might be crazy, but I think I've noticed something that could give some credibility to the werewolf theory for chapter 15.
So it seems like there's a pale blue light source present in the menu, which c o u l d be moonlight, hinting at a werewolf Killer. I noticed it on the Nurse first, as it turns her skirt noticeably blue. It's visible on other Killers too, but its easier to see on white surfaces (e.g. Nurse, Demogorgon).
Does anyone see this as well?
I'll be sure to take a look when I get on tonight
-
Flashlights can be countered easily. They even lead to getting multiple downs because they will keep coming close when you go to pick up their teammate

I'd be really careful with the "in 3 days see you thing" that can be considered a threat of violence in the States... Anyway..
Yeah I gotta side with community members here. that this is happening at a rapid rate. I see it more and more where I could activate a stopwatch and time it out within the first 20 seconds of the game starting the match and somehow the killer's heartbeat is heard within the 5 meter radius nearly right away, looking forward and seeing it happen.
The one match I played. I spawned, nearly infront of a killer. thankfully that person was AFK the whole match due to spilling something on their keyboard, (sad for them) but either way it needs to be addressed. Since the penalties are strict like this.
I've also noticed that people still DC and that the que times are even longer. I'd leave it at 3 minutes and look into Debugging before we become serious about penalties like this.
Respectfully this is something that should have been addressed back in March of last year. I dont know if this system is doing some sort of rank Handicap to account for the time it takes the system to do something. But yes, players are rage quitting like this person did due to the fact that
Killers are spawning, literally. Right infront of one another.
Respectfully,
-InnCognito.
"Threat of violence in the States"??? What the ######### are you on about?
-
You're the teammate everyone despises
-
Yea let's nerf killers, even bad killers like Bubba even more into the ground! Then our survivor queues will take even longer because more killer players will drop off!! Sounds like a great idea
-
First game with DC bans I played and my game froze. I waited and it unfroz after about 20 seconds and then kicked me from the game and gave me a DC penalty

Except every object in the damn game has an invisible hitbox that goes up to the sky so you randomly hit them, fall immediately to the game and stun yourself.
Yea but you can go in between objects

I wouldn't say it's an insane change since you'll probably still have to pick up and reset traps that have shifted after they've trapped a survivor.
Resetting a trap that's been disarmed will save time in some situations.
It's good, but it's not "insane".
You know what, I actually forgot that they did shift after catching someone. That kinda dumbs down the buff

If your ping to their server is more than 150 ms as per dev stream, this is gonna be a problem.
I have played games where up to 325 ms made no difference, (Fighter Ace on the old MSN Gaming Zone) for example
But this is one of a few games i have played so far that actually makes use of really low ping. I was sitting anywhere from 30 to 90ms. I dont COD or do FPS's where low ping is also a must. There are games where ping is not such a big deal and others where it is.
Pings show up low but I've still been experiencing more lag than before dedicated servers
