Do you even read what I put? DC and afk is bannable so what killer supposed to do if they not having fun? Hook themselves? You have yet to offer anything that can be helpful to anyone you only try ######### on valid options
Killers shouldn't be so bad then. The Devs need to buff them. That's my solution. Not put a stupid "quit" button in the game for killers. Thats such a stupid suggestion I still dont see how you think that is good

You make lie though my friend you say I say killer goes into match expecting to quit you try twist to your narrative when what I say is killer if stops having fun in match they should not be held hostage in game. Dc and afk bannable so killer is hostage unable to play anything else until survivor choose to end the game.
You offer nothing good to this you just try give post negative when I try give good healthy solution which benefits both side the other person offer good when he say killer should be able to open gates at any time but even that could be abuse but still more than you offer to my post my friend please understand I do not want go against you have stupid arguments I want you understand
######### are you even talking about? DCing is bankable for a reason and now you just want another way to do it? That's insane and I really dont get how you dont understand this. Your "solution" is not a healthy option for the game and it is outright ridiculous to want killers to have a legal DC option

It's stupid that people may not be having fun and want to play something else? You make no sense my friend seem very negative if you some pro good for you but others casual play game to have fun and relax if they not have fun they shouldn't be hostage of game
That's absurd. Why even play if you're just gonna quit? Survivors have long queue times and they dont want the game to last half as long just because they're doing good
-
First that's just stupid. On R6 its dumb as well and only quitters use the Surrender button.
Second, the fact that you even have that idea shows how unbalanced this game is
-
It takes a long time for you to die this way. Your other teammates will be done with many gens by the time you die.
-
Yea that is camping but what's the problem?

No body plays the game because it's boring, at least in my experience. The different versions of Jason all play roughly the same IIRC, which makes for incredibly stale gameplay.
I had alot of fun with it when it first came out and lobbies were somewhat quick to find. Also all my friends had it so It was really fun. The main thing i hated was never being able to play killer by choice

I had a killer last night who complained that I used Kindred and Spinechill
Wow a killer that complained? It's usually the other way around
-
Why do you people insist on complaining about everything?
-
It can be frustrating but it's still fun. If you want to play a super frustrating game try For Honor. That game has brought me so close to throwing my controller so many times.
-
PSA!!! KILLERS ARE MEANT TO BE THE POWER ROLE AND FOR THAT TO HAPPEN THEY STILL NEED MANY MORE BUFFS! IF KILLERS WERE MORE ENJOYABLE TO PLAY, GAME HEALTH WOULD BE MUCH BETTER. SURVIVOR EXCLUSIVE PLAYERS NEED TO PUT ASIDE THEIR IGNORANCE AND SELFISHNESS AND TRY PLAYING KILLER ONCE IN A WHILE.
That is all, please proceed.
-
I disagree. Many times players leave for unacceptable reasons amd the killer should be rewarded for making them rage
-

I swear if I get camped and survivors just crouch nearby not doing gens I might give the killer what he wants and die on the hook for an early 3v1.
Waving hands indicates he is near me, if I look like a flappy bird I have plenty of time on my first hook... Go do gens!!!
Whaatt?! I've always used waving hands to signal that nobody was coming to save me

i think behavior could release a DBD pro-version for players with 500 or even 1000 hours as their target. New source of revenue, new maps, addresses the game being completely different for new players versus veterans. Maybe ditch the stealth areas like Yamaoka and focus on chase mechanics and 50/50 tiles. Maybe put a few strong tiles in the corners of the maps where gens can’t spawn.
That sounds terrible. Why would you suggest taking away stealth when it is such a unique and fun part of the game.
-
Yes alot of complaints about the new ruin but I actually dont think its too bad with good map pressure. Especially while using Sloppy Butcher. Either they heal and then gens regress or they are 1 hit
-
Very nice indeed. I just played a game of wraith as well, rank 3, ps4 and 4 kills so that's kinda a coincidence. Anyways one of the best feelings in my opinion is hitting multiple people with Bubbas chainsaw at the same time

They have the ability to essentially move around the map at very high speeds while invisible and not being able to hit survivors, but not teleport. Honestly though, that's my main turnoff from those games because it looks really broken, so I'd hate to see it in DBD. Plus those games are both kind of terrible so I wouldn't like to see the devs take anything from them except for maybe Jason if they can get the rights.
F13 is only terrible because nobody plays it and the studio crashed and cant touch the game anymore
-
I would advise atleast always having a high level killer that you're good with. Personally when I finish leveling a killer up to P3 I drop another million bloodpoints into them so that I have a load of items and offerings. I also play alot of the time using only grey addons or none at all so i really dont use up my stuff very quickly. Definetly level up Bubba to get BBQ amd Chili because you'll be getting roughly 50k bp a game. That's the nice thing about killers, they get alot of bp

I was just thinking this the other day. Killers in this game feel like Scooby Doo monsters because of how trash they are. Come on BHVR, Killer is supposed to be the power role
-
It's not fair

Whys everyone saying Clown? Hes a solid killer to play and hard to go up against. Definetly in a good spot imo. Although I wont decline a buff to any killer at this point

Sure
-
I think the main problem is that the game is essentially having an identity crisis. Is it a competitive game or a casual game? This question was even in the new survey which I noticed. Personally I enjoy the game alot more when I go into it with a casual mindset. Many times I get sweaty and try to get 4ks and then just find myself getting frustrated. Other games have multiple game modes to accommodate competitive and casual players but DBD cannot do this because queues would become way to long. How they fix this problem I do not know.
-
I dont think that's a good idea. They should just stick to horror icons
-
Killers you face. See who is the most and least common

No reason to have ebony mori in the game or at least, make it only useable after the second hook. Bad killers tend to tunnel, to use their mori. I have just too often encountered such people.
If they're bad then why are you worried?

This would just make queue times longer; they are already terribly long

Hello everyone, first time I'm actually posting on here. Have always read many posts from you guys over the past year. I'm a survivor main on the PS4, only ever done like 16 killer games as playing killer sends me sleepy.
On the rage topic I can understand everyones frustration for survivor and killer, just kills the game. Hate when a random team mate gets first found and before being hooked just quits, I'm like you for real 😥 even if I get destroyed or tunnelled I still will never quit just accept bad game and move on. Im always in red ranks and currently rank 2, only tend to play when friends online now. Majority of survivors including many red ranks are terrible. Let you go in struggle first hook or just play for them selves. I always run borrowed time and save others always and many times I will die getting my friends out the game or even randoms I don't know. Just wish survivors had abit more patience when it comes to unhooking I always get survivor safely away and got borrowed time as back up.
I just play to have fun ☺️ I enjoy team play and that most important to me.
Also regarding people quitting since Devs brought in penalties for people quiting early. Why are killers all a sudden quiting just before game ends. Past week every 10 games it happens 4-5 times. Never used to happen it's frustrating 😥
I am the same way. I never kill myself unless it will help my teammate get hatch and I never ever quit. Also as killer, no matter how bad I want to I will not quit because i know how annoying it is for survivors

Theyre not gonna give killers movement speed buffs or anything like that, ESPECIALLY for 3 man squads. The idea of the killer thats chasing you being faster because one of your teammates brought in 2 of his rank 20 friends comes to mind, lol. They're not gonna alienate a random anymore than they already are.
Speed was an example. They need to do something
-
@TheEntity03 said:
What exactly did they do to make you be that mad? I had terrible teammates that doesn't even try to save you and when they do the killer is right behind them. ☹
They stuck around at the end acting like they were gonna save me but didnt cuz I was down. I was on hatch and if they left I could've escaped. Then the claudette just snuck around the map while the other trash teammate got downed AND picked up on the opposite side of the map. Then the claudette still didnt pick me up and I bled out. That's how long this whole thing went on I bled out on the ground. And I'm not gonna mention the earlier parts of the game. Also, this is in RED RANKS!!
-
My favorite killer is Leatherface because his chainsaw is good for camping
-
Not a bad idea but I think that would mess with alot of people groups and may not be as fun. Another idea is to give the killer a buff when in a 3 to 4 man swf. Maybe faster movement speed, 2 less pallets in the map etc.
-
Why tf would that be bannable? Seriously use your brain
-
It's the industry not this game specifically. Look at the new COD. The skin packs are anywhere from $10 to $20 for 1 single outfit or whatever. Its ######### ridiculous, I only buy DBD skins cuz of how much I play and to support BHVR.

Buff killers so people actually want to play them. Game is so survivor-sided that, despite only needing 1/5 people to play killers, thereis still a shortage of killers. Why? Because SWF with voice chat bully the crap out of killers and make it nearly impossible to win without a mori. You get teabagged and taunted all the time and if you dare to get 1 kill you will get toxic messages from survivors. Obviously this makes the experience for the killer not enjoyable to say the least.
Also: survivors can make tons of mistakes and escape. If a killer makes 1 mistake against a coordinated team it's game over for him.
Buff killers and your queue times will go down.
As a killer I have no queue times. When I press ready I instantly get a lobby with 4 people. Usually a much better rank than me too, making my game experience as a killer even worse. This is on PS4
This is basically every matchup for me as killer on PS4, a 4-man SWF group with much better ranks:
I agree escaping for survivors needs to be a rarer occurrence based on survivors playing really well instead of the current easy loop and gen rush method. Although the game is pretty well balanced when the survivors are all solo. There needs to be a buff for killers when there are 3 or 4 swf survivors in the lobby. Maybe like 2 less pallets on the map or permanent +.1 m/s movement speed for the duration of the match or something to balance things out.

@Waffleyumboy said:
Easy fix: Charge time for opening hatch with key, hatch then closes immediately and egc doesn't activate. Moris activate only after all 4 survivors have been hooked or that survivor is on death hook. Where's my cookie!?
Thatd make moris next to useless. One survivor could just run an immersive build and mess up your whole operation

The devs confirmed that the killers wait in their respective maps until the next set of survivors come in. Leatherface just hangs out in the Grim Pantry I guess, since that map was added with him and the cannibalism relation... but for Ghostface I have no clue. Maybe he can wander because in his lore he went from one place to another to conduct his killings.
The devs also said that killers know of each other and some could even have small rivalries or respect for each other. Makes me wonder if this is only for the ones that have shared 'realms' like the Plague and Huntress in the Red Forest or Leatherface and Hag in Backwater Swamp, or if they have occasionally met outside of them or even in each others realms somehow.
As for eating and sleeping, I don't know if the Entity can suppress those needs or not, but it could easily use them to its advantage, like starving the Hag and Demogorgon to make them more ravenous
@Raven014 said:

I believe that's been explained by the realms. I think they just reside in their realms until the next trial. (Legion on Ormond, Wraith on Autohaven, Nurse on Crotus Prenn, etc.)
But what about the Alchemist injecting them? In the Alchemist lore video he injected the Trapper and that wasnt in a trial. So if the Trapper was just waiting in his map, the Alchemist wouldnt be able to chain him up and do that
-
I'd like some info on what everyone does between trials out in the Entity's realm. Do killers have their own shacks and places of rest or do they just stumble around in the forest until the next trial? Do they have areas to interact and torture survivors or do they only meet in trials? Do killers and survivors eat or sleep? I just wanna know more about the entitys world because from the alchemists story we know it's more than just trials.
-
For survivors I've always thought they were just different versions of themselves. Like if they survive the trial they go back into the Fog wearing whatever they had on until the next trial and so on. If they die then the next trial they will be wearing something else from another part of their lives with no recollection of the last trial. As far as charms go I think they pick them themselves. For example I have the flower charm on Claudette because she is a botanist and likely would have found one of those flowers when she wasnt in the trial but in the forest of the entity's realm. As for killers I think they choose what they want to wear and have multiple outfits that the entity provided or they were allowed to create them or bring them with them from the real world. Then I think they need to maintain them and wash them patch them etc. Perhaps for some outfits like the withering blight ones, after the initial injection from the alchemist the entity helps cure them and remove the effects but then also reinjects them at certain times when it wants. I also think that killers can use their own choice of charms

I wouldn't say physical strength is redundant. It's a legitimate threat.
I feel the same way regarding Julie and Suzie: not convincing, not threatening. No real power or physically imposing presence. Take away their little knives...what have we got? The Hag looks legitimately terrifying and would could jump on you and rip your throat out. Not to mention she is a supernatural creature who has a teleportation power.
Hoffman is much more than a 'big dude'. Many regard him as the ultimate antagonist in the Saw franchise. He's in a prominent position in society and lives an extraordinary double life. Amanda is remembered as the first revealed apprentice to Jigsaw and her scene introduced the iconic reverse bear trap. The bear trap is iconic. Not Amanda.
Yes, Hoffman was trapped in the reverse bear trap...and he also felt the grisly effect which resulted in a part of his face ripped open. He used his intelligence to overcome a seemingly inescapable trap and survived. He also used the reverse bear trap later to kill Jill. Using the RBT to kill Jigsaw's wife? I would say that's an extremely important part of the overall franchise.
Regarding the quality of the films, that's all down to the opinion of the viewer. I enjoyed all the Saw films and Hoffman is my favourite character.
But at the end of the day, Amanda is in and Hoffman is not. And he's not going to be.
Perfectly stated 👌

Lol well hope you dont look at my thread then xD

LOL I knew somebody was gonna comment this xD. Believe it or not camping has a learning curve and you have to be smart about it. I dont sit in front of hooks revving my chainsaw. You have to know where to hide, if the survivors are swf so you can make changes to your ambush, what routes the survivors will take, how quickly you can get back to the hook, when to time a grab if it comes to that, how to pressure gens and remain close to hooks if your presence is known, how to best utilize your killers ability to prevent escape, what addons and perks to use, when to leave camping behind, know where the holes in floors and walls are to peak through and see the basement entrance, how to deny active BT after an unhook, and I am surely missing some other aspects of it.

I'm tired of being slugged 4 times a match. Frankly No Mither is probably his counter at this point. I haven't been M1'd by an Oni lately and he slugs so much. I guess its fun if you're the killer. I don't particularly enjoy crawling on the ground for 5 minutes so guess I'm gonna play a different game until people stop playing Oni or the playstyle changes from slugging. I'm also a little perturbed that blood orbs don't expire and slugs drop them so Oni can proximity camp a slug wait for that survivor to get picked up go into his power one shot the heal and slug again. Its just not fun. Its not fun at all.
Ok bye!

Honestly camping is annoying but I can live with it most of the time.
However, the one killer that generally makes me salty when he camps is LF and its because:
1) My teammates keep coming to save me after realising he's camping (survivor fault)
2) I die on hook and there's almost nothing anyone can do about it
3) My SWF (if I'm playing SWF) has to wait while I play the rest of the game/vice versa
Number 3 is my main gripe, as with the other 2 I can just move on with the game, but with 3), we now have to wait. I might also add that there are multiple other reasons people don't like it; for example, that player now loses a pip because you thought it was funny to camp, or maybe they had limited time to play one or 2 games and they ended up playing against that.
It's specifically the ability to down multiple people off of the hook that pi**es people off, because unless the person has BT then both survivors are now downed. With other killers it's less annoying because they can only target either the rescued or the rescuer.
So yeah I can appreciate why people would stop playing the game after running into a camping LF, especially when they probably didn't get to play much of the game except seeing their teammate get chainsawed and then spamming spacebar till they die.
As a final note, LF is one of my favourite killers to go against (2nd to Demogorgon and closely followed by Huntress), before it's assumed that I'm here to hate on him. I just think he either needs a complete rework, or he needs a nerf to his chainsaw straight after someone is unhooked (perhaps temporary BT for the rescued?), and a buff everywhere else.
It's not unfun for everyone tho. Like I said I enjoy playing and playing against campers. And the argument against a depip is easily torn down. Survivors can bring keys, insta heals, and brand new pets which zoom them outta the game and result in killers depips. It goes both ways that's part of the game. And to top it all off, what is the point of reaching a high rank? Absolutely nothing

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/111244/why-i-camp
The only way I can see camping working is by either waiting for an ambush as GF or Pig, or in the basement as insidious Leatherface. The second though is completely countered if they have coms because the guy on the hook is like <<hey guys he is camping me here, don't come, do gens>> and then by the time he is dead like 3 gens pop. The reason we don't camp is not because we care about survivor's feelings but because we know it straight up doesn't work when people know what they are doing. The fact that you believe it does work in red ranks means you are either lying or being a contrarian.
Nope it does work. You have to know how to do it right. For example, if I suspect they are swf I will find a hiding location where I can see basement entry and wait there instead of down by the hooks
