As it stands, rank reset is a meme. The original intentions of letting players that took a break come back and refresh their skills at lower levels are noble, but not being realized. Right now rank reset does a host of things. But none of them are inviting for returning players. Firstly: It's frustrating players. Hi all, I just wanted to ask whats up with this games matching system. I am a rank 9 killer, I have about 180 hours or so. When I play this game I almost always see SWF group with huge rank difference (Ex. rank 2 with rank 18). SWF group is already a huge advantage towards the survivors, but I have to play with survivors way out of my league too. How is this any fair to the killer? Can we have more of an incentive to become rank 1? Even if you get to rank 1, your progress is reset and you have no “bragging rights” or anything to show for it. An in game cosmetic or in game medal or stat ticker that shows other people how many times you’ve been rank one. I don't know if it has something to do with recent matchmaking changes, but I literally cannot even start a game right now. It is not even a balance problem, but just a huge disappointment that makes me seriously think about quitting the game after thousands of hrs of play. Last match I had a Nurse that camped from afar with a fully charged blink ready, and since I found a flashlight I tried to burn her and give a chance for someone else to do the save. For some reason, though, I got a blind (even if I wasn't aiming at the head and I wasn't in front of her) and just wasted my flashlight in the attempt. Trapper- Honestly, I don't think Trapper has many stereotypes aside from they're always the most likely to have noed lol. Like seriously, shut up about it. The devs have already said that it is in a position that they are comfortable and don't plan on changing it anytime soon. Think about it this way. Yes NOED is a crutch perk, but it gives weaker and new killers a much better chance at having a good experience. Hey just wanted to hear from others if they have this same situation and if it can somehow be fixed in the future. Was trying to find a match today with 1 friend for 45 minutes, we find a match and within 5 seconds they quit. This went on for the 45 minutes and we found 10 matches and everytime the killer left in lobby. I just don't understand why we had a key and that's it. Their goal was to make it less powerful in 4 man swf, its unuseable in solo play with the change, but...in swf? Huge buff! As a rank 18 killer myself who has been playing against full teams of rank 2 for the past 6 consecutive games, I must say I find it really enjoyable to be put in circumstances under which I could never possibly win. I did learn a few things though - I understand why people think camping is absolutely acceptable, and so is tunneling - because there is no possible way of winning. Even if they aren't changing the perk, I think a slight adjustment to it would make survivors less frustrated. The worst feeling is being downed instantly without expecting it; since Rancor, Haunting Ground, and Devour Hope tell you when you're exposed, the same should apply to NOED. This is likely to be a very unpopular idea, so let me emphasize that it’s just that, a idea, and nothing more. I suggest we allow for often suggested 5 perk slots..... I must have dodged something like 20 lobbies now trying to find even just 1 killer with ping less than 150. Not a single one had less than that. It was fine earlier i was getting green ping killers but now there is nothing. Not to mention i keep getting survivors from all over Europe. I have been grinding out perks with Legion for a few days now and have a build I like and is working for me. Perks Sloppy Butcher (worked with frenzy and work on hit perks are especially good with Legion since you can generally always get a hit off.) Just got the Adept Doctor achievement. Going to get adept achievements first since they’re the easiest tbh. As a survivor (in a lore sort of way) you should NOT want a killer obsessed with you. That's why I think the obsession status should have small debuffs/buffs that apply only to them. Something such as item rates being consumed 10-25% faster due to the "fear of being caught" at the expense of perhaps a slight vigil effect.. obviously values could be tweaked around this, the main point is an obsessi7 comments 162 views last activity
