Patch notes: "Addendum Added matchmaking improvements." Doesn't seem improved to me. Seems reallly broken. Playing survivor. Rank 9. The GhostFace exposed effect was okay on him, because it let you know you were being stalked. It serves no point if Myers gets to T3 on the other side of the map and I get the notification and freak out because it could be me that he's stalking... like really... there was no need for that change, it's not QoL. A simple idea for prestiging could increase the perks that show up by one tier if possible. This will shorten the grind to max prestige and increase the reasons to prestiging. It is literally insane what the devs expect red rank survivors to do each map to get a pip. i did 2 gens, got 5 saves, 2 totems, hatch, and ran escaped chases from the killer. 25k points and still a black pip. It seems that if a game doesn't go on for 20+ minutes it's impossible to pip at red ranks. Am i supposed to do all 5 gens/totems, get 6 saves, open both gates and escape by hatch????? I think that it would be nice to not automatically make grabbed survivor injured if they were healthy. I think you don't start bleeding when you just get grabbed by someone, right? It also would add more risk for killers - if grabbed survivor escapes the killer's grasp, they stay healthy. So if a killer grabs someone, he must hook them to injure them. Just an idea I had in a match earlier. What if lit totems required skill checks? Just about everything else does. Edit: I figure lit totems should have a bit of risk involved when cleansing them. Why are we always getting the same perks (looking at you Calm Spirit) on the shrine week after week? Can't you put into your "randomizer" that perks cannot repeat for like oh.. I rarely use addons on Ghost Face since his basekit is fine to me, but times when i equip Driver's License, I feel like that it doesn't do as advertised, since I still get revealed at a great distance by a survivor. So as it stands survivors can either do gens, cleanse totems, or run from killer, or heal other survivors. My idea would be for each generator there is a circuit board. The circuit board is an option, not necessary to work on a gen. But a side objective before a gen is complete. My only issue with playing killer is depipping when you go against a REALLY crazy team on coms. It don't always equal a loss but sometimes that can be frustrating :/ other then that I only ever reached rank 1 with killer....and never survivor. What can I do to get good at both? I just played a game where I was about to 4k. I chased down a Laurie and when I got her into the dying state the game disconnected me. I lost all those potential points and it's so frustrating wasting my time doing well at high ranks only to get disconnected. Anyone else who seems to keep deranking most games? I was rank 4, starting doing matches and I've seemed to have gone down to 5 now. I do an average of 2 gens solo in each game, and unhook 3- 4 times if I've not been killed before then. Even on games where I've been the only survivor (hatch ftw) I still seem to be deranking. So I got banned today after playing a few matches, the ban does lift on August 8th, but the fact I was banned for only ever insulting myself kind of makes me question if the devs want absolutely ZERO negativity in their game, if I can't even insult myself. Why are survivors still able to fast vault / running vault for example the main building window in rancid abattoir from "wrong" side and the window in the corner at jungle gyms from outside although there is a wall there that is supposed to prevent that from happening? Yep it's another one of these threads. Well, what if there was a perk that lengthened the end game a bit more? As soon as the exit gates are powered it cuts out the power and adds 1 more gen to be completed to power the gates a final time Don't worry, that's tier 3 of the perk. I had Self-Care and a Healing Kit that I found yet I still couldn't heal the entire match. The prompts would not appear. I had BT, yet after I unhooked a survivor, I saw the Wraith hit her only once and she was downed. We got the exit gates opened and when I was past the line, the escape didn't kick in. I always wanted Nurse to have much more reliable add-on because no matter what I used... range and speed add-ons were just too good and overshadowed anything else by a large margin.
