TRASH! All BHVR knows how to do is NERF. BUFF, and bring new cosmetics into the game. Does nothing about actually FIXING THE GAME. So happy that 90% of my friends have quit this game, I'm heading there too. I doubt anything is going to change in the near future but will def come back if new game mechanics are implemented, if tunneling, camping, slugging, gen rush are not an issue anymore. 1. Logically, healing yourself should always take longer than another person healing you. By nerfing ALL healing speeds and not just medkit heals, nothing changes in terms of players approach - killer just gets more time overall. A coordinated team is still better off running 4 medkits rather than bringing a healing build. I would suggest that altruistic healing speeds remain 16s, so that there a0 comments 61 views last activity

I put my elbow out because cuddles from him usually involve lots of rubbing his face against mine. I can't see when he does that. And I didn't want to blow a skill check or accidentally body block a teammate. So I raised my arm, pointing my elbow out, again and again, gently deterring him. And then I kept playing DBD. And he died last night. I found him in my bedroom, on the floor, next to my10 comments 131 views last activity

Medkits and Circle of Healing have been way too strong for way too long. The changes you all have made to these components seem very positive for the game's health. However, I'm not too sure about these heal speed changes. I think it would be incredibly fair if only self-healing took 24 seconds with altruistic healing speeds left unchanged. However, as it is now, with both methods of healing req0 comments 151 views last activity

I did the math really quickly - if I'm not wrong, healing speeds being a default of 24 seconds would mean that Self-Care heals you from 0 to 100% healed in 96/80/69 seconds roughly. That seems like an execcisve amount of time to be healing! It's my hope that this perk will have it's healing speed increased with these new balance changes? I noticed it was absent from the patch notes, which is why3 comments 61 views last activity

Bloodweb changes - super great congrats speeds it up, you can choose your favorite add-ons and then speed up the rest, great Visual terror radius - super great as well only thing I cant think that might not be great is giving a visual effect to sounds that arent super obvious like onryo "lullaby" but for huntress for example sure Map reworks - like the philosofy, specially giving openings4 comments 41 views last activity

Survivors cry that killers are too strong, killers cry that survivors are too strong, nerfs of survivors and killers perks stop crying and changins this game, learn how to play why will dead hard be nerfed again? dead hard is a strong perk but killers can wait for it, just think a little and don't cry and nerf him if you nerf a dead hard, people will stop using it, then they will find ano2 comments 51 views last activity

In what universe would you run this over Call of Brine? 30 seconds for an additional 5%? I don’t think stacking them’s worth it anymore either when you’d get 110-155 as it now takes 10 seconds for it to get to default speed meaning you’d probably be better off with just CoB, and even after 30, it’s still only 155 for 30 seconds. Not happy with this one. Overcharge only got value when the gen was5 comments 101 views last activity

So, seems a lot of the mid chapter perk changes are a bit contentious, I think some are deserved but others are just.... weird. It seems that behaviors policy to "balancing perks" is either kneecapping it with a pipe wrench or taking it out behind the fractured cowshed and putting it down. Honestly don't think that's very healthy for the game, especially as it just forces changes rather than enco0 comments 21 views last activity

There's only one issue - Mangled. After these nerfs it should be like 20% instead of 25% not to make it too opressive.1 comments 51 views last activity

Unfortunately I don't see the new changes being done as positive. For One I am going to find the view of the heart distracting unless it's optional. That change alone will stop me from playing the game altogether. Devs need to stop trying to people please. Whenever something is complained about they instantly adhere to. The complaining will never end. There will always be something else for peopl5 comments 101 views last activity

So, this update is a lot for both survivors and killers. So what, should someone expect? Survivors: If you weren't. It's the best time to switch to Lithe and SB. Create distance from killers and play safely pre dropping pallets and delay the killer as much as possible Items- Bring Toolboxes and Med-kits. Not much changed here, but with the new healing numbers, this two items are more valuable0 comments 41 views last activity

Nerfing Hillbilly's best add-ons (nerf overall), Nerfing again Pinky Finger on Clown (instadown add-on) but ignoring the most OP add-ons on Shape??? (insta kill add-ons) and keeping still one of the most OP add-ons on Blight??!! I don't why you want to nerf weaker Killers but you keep some other OP stuff that are way more talked about and complained.7 comments 81 views last activity

Yes, healing was an issue, but I think there's better ways to address it. 24 seconds is too much, specially because people are gonna use sloppy more often. People are gonna simply ignore healing and stick to gens with resilience, sprint burts and adrenaline. Circle of healing and DH were killed... again. Why leave people without options to heal when you know SoloQ is hell? SoloQ was buffed with0 comments 21 views last activity

Mostly on Skull Merchant and Knight, it's broken, it can make a 3gen an impossible task, you might as well ask the killer to kill you and move on to the next match. And before I get a lot of "3gens are survivor's fault" comments, on solo Q you can't coordinate a 3gen, it just happens. So you could even say the kick gen meta makes solo Q EVEN WORSE than it is. It also DOESN'T reward the killer fo4 comments 81 views last activity

Like why BHVR? Hillbillys only viable addons were Death and doom engravings, with lopro chains and punctured muffler as honorable mention…that’s it….. Double engravings took quite a bit of mechanical skill and rewarded those who developed that skill to curve with engravings over time and were arguably the most fun to go against playing survivor. What is the reasoning behind this change for the mi5 comments 522 views last activity

All of these changes seem like massive wins, overall! A few points of concern: I think the medkit and CoH nerfs are pretty fantastic! I think the differences between the tiers of medkits are so little that it makes them practically all the same, which is quite boring, but maybe also not a bad thing since getting any rarity of medkits from bloodwebs is so easy now. I do however think that the1 comments 31 views last activity

Is it just me, or are Billy's changes one of the worst decisions BHVR made in a long time? This literally increases his camping capabilities while nerfing his chase power and map mobility. Wasn't the overheat introduced to limit his camping ability in the first place? And yet, they make such a dumb decision. This is the exact opposite of should have happened. More overheat when camping, less ov3 comments 41 views last activity

While I would love to create a post about the amazing perk, Deja Vu, this is sadly not what this actually is. Sorry People who have been playing DBD for years pretty much have an idea of how the games will go from here because we've been here before. Bunch of changes in this mid-chapter, many of them great, a few beyond questionable. Regardless, considering I'm always right at calling these things (bold claim, Cotton), this is the next meta after the gen-kicking NPC'ing of the last few months: Hit'n'run and facecamp with Deadlock. Rest of the loadout depends on killer power, but something that applies mangled (Sloppy or add-on), Corrupt, ST3 comments 121 views last activity

This is ridiculous. First time gating outfits, now you're forcing people to spend a minimum of 5 dollars on a single cosmetic piece that is time-gated. You are attempting to force players more and more to buy things under pressure. You have a monopoly on this genre of game, it's the single most played in its genre on the planet; going out of your way to15 comments 271 views last activity

Hey I main hag. I see she is getting a nerf by allowing survivors to sweep away her traps. How long exactly will it take for them to sweep away? I already can have a match completely destroyed for me if I have ONE survivor following me with a flashlight and not letting me set up a web. Or if ONE survivor is following their teammate that is getting chased and burning the trap I just placed to shut0 comments 41 views last activity

the new healing changes is just gonna make it so much worse now, it'll only be a trap perk for newer players. at least revert it back to 32 seconds or something.0 comments 11 views last activity

Update: This can be closed. After discussing this on the forums, I turned up the bass on my headphones, and I can hear the heartbeat over the generator noises now. I probably need newer headphones or something, but the visual terror radius is good for terror radius noises. I am having issues hear the farthest away Huntress lullaby noises over generator noises, but who knows, maybe that will g0 comments 21 views last activity

Changing the speed given from engravings is not the correct way to change Hillbilly. Billy is one of the least played killers in the whole game with only a few dedicated players committed to him, myself being one of them. Most of already dwindling Billy mains left once skybilly was removed, but I am telling you now, if these changes go through there will be little to no Billy players left. How about bring back old DH for distance, but it activates only after you get unhooked, that will deicentivise tunneling A LOT. It can be used 3 times and it will disable after you performing an action like DS/OTR etc. Wanna hear your thougths.3 comments 61 views last activity

Those patch notes for the mid-chapter actually look exceptional. Huge breath of fresh air after the disasters that were Forged in Fog and Tools of Torment. Genkick meta is officially dead, COH/DH/Medkit meta is dead. This is very exciting, I can't wait to see how this affect the game. I also like the Pain Res changes; incentivizes spreading hooks instead of tunneling. Only thing I'm worried about0 comments 11 views last activity

So many threads complaining about this recently. And it mystifies me, I'm no killer main for sure, but not a surv main either. I play both rolls roughly equally. For a start it isn't easy to hit, you can force a trigger by running at killer but it only works against players who M1 at the earliest possible second. Killer is the easiest roll by a longshot. I've been playing dbd for a little over 3 years now and I never had the problem of not wanting to open dbd... Let me be frank, I LOVE this game and I was still excited for the new chapter despite the obvious flaws it has. The game was never perfect and nor do I think it will ever be, but that's no issue, at least not for me. Even though back then the game was a lot more chaotic and in some placed1 comments 61 views last activity

BHVR is going all out with the nerf hammer in this upcoming (for some things, thank god), but HillBilly doesn't deserve that, at least if you're going to nuke these add-ons, at least give HillBilly some speed to help him at those newly added cursed curves. Or if you don't like to give him a flat movement speed buff, do something like for the first 1.5 seconds his chainsaw sprint is 30% faster or1 comments 11 views last activity
