With respect, does anyone miss DBD from 2017? It was so unbalanced I know....but it was so fun! I miss driftking Billy and the stupid broken instaheals. Game used to be so chaotic! lol0 comments 61 views last activity

Now that all but 1 gen regression perk has been destroyed.I think the new meta it's going to be corrupt,DMS, deadlock and jolt for m1 killers. Maybe even eruption it's probably the second best regression perk now.17 comments 311 views last activity

Alright yall, the proposed changes have finally broken me. I've been playing DBD for quite a few years now and have always been able to find some way to make it fun or enjoyable. In the past I've mostly run altruism/healing builds with We're Gonna Live Forever being probably one of my favorites. My enjoyment of the game started going downhill around when the big perk change happened. I feel li11 comments 271 views last activity

Just like with a lot of others, these changes are not gonna be good. I see a lot of killers complain about the nerfs but trust me when I say y’all won’t notice it cause survivors won’t be doing gens while we are waiting to be healed. If the game is gonna hold killers hands this bad the game won’t be enjoyable for them (hence Tofu getting off killer more and more.) The gens progress had a nerf to1 comments 61 views last activity

After seeing these changes for Add ons, I am SOOOO confused. I feel like you have no clue what the community is asking for, and what people truly feel needs adjustments. So you reworked some add ons, great, however they are add ons that no one uses, and you didn't really make them more appealing, not to mention, why only 1?? why not many? This is a midchapter, this should be HUGE with changes3 comments 51 views last activity

Okay, I got it, you wanted to remove special interactions with flashlights. It didn't happen a lot against Nurse, sure, but still, this removes one of the few tools against the strongest killer in the game. Unlike Wraith, the Nurse's lightburn wasn't a problem. And the Hag is being buffed against flashlights... but nerfed against anyone without a flashli5 comments 311 views last activity

When I first started playing DBD, The Wraith was my least favorite killer to go against. Mainly because of these 3 reasons: 1) The Wraith would uncloak while he's body blocking the pallet or window that's closest to me. 2) He'd hit me with sloppy butcher and then leave. 3) I'd be left with no way to heal myself. This was unfun and annoying. Now if the new changes on healing and burning the0 comments 51 views last activity

I will only play survivor with friends (because even when we are losing we can still have fun) and killer. Solo queue will be the most miserable thing in my gaming experience. I know for a fact that people will keep bringing Self Care and COH only to spend half the time healing in the corner of the map or looking for a totem to boon. I know that nobody cares, but this is a forum and people can41 comments 1,301 views last activity

If the Circle of Healing self-heal Nerf goes through, I can’t see a reason to choose it over We’ll Make It since you heal your teammates twice as fast with it. As oppose to 50% faster with CoH. My only issue with this is half the player base won’t hold still and let me heal them as soon as I unhook them. 😒5 comments 301 views last activity

I get the feeling all they do is stare at a spreadsheet, see the pick rates for perks and nerf the top ones. They dont consider why theyre top. Its a stupid way to try balance the game too. You dont want A B C picked as much, so you nerf them. So everyone starts using D E F because those perks were slightly below ABC, then because theyre the most picked DEF get nerfed. Its a never ending cyc3 comments 121 views last activity

Dark Theory, nuked COH and Exponential would barely be strong enough to justify the perk slot if they were map wide. Only Shadow Step might need a nerf but that’s an easy one. Just make it so it only hides auras while injured and only hides scratches while healthy instead of hiding both all the time. Pretty sure there are still only four Boons if there’s a fifth one its so bad I can’t remember15 comments 351 views last activity

So, Circle of Healing has been holding back other boons from being good, and now that it won't allow you to self-care, how about extending the boon range to being global? A few tweaks may be needed for this to happen. For example, nerfed CoH will reveal auras of players inside the area of effect of the boon. How about removing it and just apply a +50% faster altruistic healing for everyone as2 comments 91 views last activity

Currently on live it takes 24 seconds to heal yourself with CoH (16 with a medkit with no speed buffs) without any other healing speed buffs. If base kit self-healing speed is going to increase from 16 to 24 seconds. That means it would take 36 seconds to heal yourself with CoH. If it takes that long to self heal I can’t see a reason to remove self-heal from the perk. This basically makes it a we4 comments 91 views last activity

The secret? I’m not toxic. I don’t tbag, aggressively Head On, or blind like my life depends on it. I highly suspect most of you who deal with this engage in these or similar tactics. You think it is part of the game? Sure but these things are not fun to deal with as Killer. You know what else is not fun? Being camped and tunneled. They are also part of the game.4 comments 101 views last activity

I recently played a match in the reworked Mother's Dwelling, and I noticed there were more safe loops than before. And by that I mean loops there are long and safe from both sides, leaving little to no room for mindgames, where the only option is often to just run it until the pallet is dropped and break it, free extra time for the survivor. To make things worse, these loops were quite well conne1 comments 52 views last activity

His add-ons are atrocious enough already and you want to nerf two of his few add-ons that even do anything? Give me a friggin' break. You guys are only nerfing them based on stats because almost all of his other add-ons don't do anything thanks to you. This is a ridiculous change that shows how out of touch you have become recently. Giving Billy a few good add-on reworks would have been THE EASI0 comments 21 views last activity

While us who mainly level up to get perks still have to do 50 manual bloodwebs due to this: It’s really annoying that there’s no free choice - why not let it be up to the players whether they want to familiarize themselves with it first? Or maybe set a level limit: im lvl 90, i really dont need to learn items. All items can be googled as well.6 comments 81 views last activity

What's up with nerfing literally every gen regression perk in existence? Is some dev at BHBR always gets 3 genned when they play survivor?? Gens are very problematic even with unskillful players so they added an auto HUD pilot to increase gen efficiency even more. Therefore, the logical solution is to nerf all gen regression perks to aggravate the problem even more. Yeah dead hard nerf is coo8 comments 351 views last activity

While it does bring about a plethora of changes some good, like major perk nerfs and map changes. The stronger killers just got stronger, the weaker killers are still weak, healing got absolutely demolished, they nerfed Billy’s engravings because they felt like it. And many of the killer changes and perk changes are inconsequential. And once again after good progress a wedge was put between low0 comments 41 views last activity

I came here to say this. This is a very long time. Don't you think? The perk needs some adjustments since the base healing time will be slower. Don't even think about combining it with slowdowns4 comments 81 views last activity

I won't go over every single one, just the ones that I feel warrant the most discussion. Dead Hard- While I'm not sad to see this perk eat a big nerf, I question the wisdom of having yet another perk that encourages tunneling. The most effective way to counter this perk now is to hard tunnel the first person you hook out of the game, never chase anyone else until they're dead. No not that other one, Alert. The gen kicking meta heralded the truly golden age of Alert, I could see where the Killer was just about all the time and I could see which gens were primed for Eruption. With no need to kick gens any more Alert falls back to its niche position of slightly useful on pallet heavy maps. Goodbye my old friend I shall miss you2 comments 101 views last activity

advantages of CoH and Med kits (I can heal myself up, I don't need anyone) after the nerf of the med kits and kill of CoH they will almost only become half life, in the solo q you almost never get healed up and when it comes to that then they only notice it very slowly, meanwhile in a swf "come on shack let's heal up" more efficient heal in the swf, solo q even more miserable :D nice bhvr, i'm no28 comments 721 views last activity

Currently, the default speed at which survivors can altruistically heal themselves is 1 C/s (16s -> 24s). Alternatively, they can run Self-care to fully heal themselves by independent means at 0.35 C/s (46s -> 68.5s). Botany Knowledge increases those numbers by 50%, meaning survivors can heal eachother at 1.5 C/s (10.7s -> 16s) or heal yourself at 0.5 C/s (30.5s -> 46s). Expired Batteries is a Skull Merchant Ultra Rare add on that starts each survivor with a claw trap, but they only last for 40 percent battery charge before expiring. That’s it. That’s all it does. Let’s talk some numbers. For each survivor trackable via your tracker, either by claw trap of drone, the SM gets a percentage boost in her movement speed, by a factor of 3%, 5%, 6%, and 7%. This discussion is now void as with these new changes, Legion will be brought up to at least B-tier thanks to the healing nerfs. The reason why this was boring was because it was during a time where mend was tied to when you were in chase only. Now that we've come to the point for many years that it was tied to stopping when mending or running, I think it's time we bring that part of Legio10 comments 172 views last activity

We tested this out a few times and could only replicate it if we were in second phase of the shock treatment with the Doctor. If you fail a merciless storm skill check it will instantly regress the gen. Each time we tried this we got it anywhere from 10%-25% progression on the gen. We tried a few other killers and couldn't replicate it but having a gen 90% done and missing one skill check to caus0 comments 101 views last activity

DH gets nerfed. The only sad part of the patch is that, without nerfing prove thyself and only nerfing killer slowdown perks, genrush will become meta as 90% of survs can't keep the killer in chase for more than 20 seconds. I'm glad, though, that DH has finally been nerfed. It may be the start of a series of patches that finally bring dbd back to its former glory Now all that's left is to fix17 comments 471 views last activity

BHVR, are you okay? What is going on? Blight is the 2nd strongest killer in the game. Most of his addons are great, very strong. Some of them are very unfair. Yet it's been 2+ years and you still haven't dealt with those addons. Blight is also very popular due to these reasons. The Hillbilly has been in such a poor state. What are you doing, you bastards? Am I supposed to relearn new perks every month now? There must be some stability in the game. So, to the claims: 1) between killing a perk and turning it into the best perk in the game, there is a subtle (FAT LIKE YOUR M...) position where the perk would work and not be meta-forming. In general, fighting the meta is a little pointless. Gamers are alway0 comments 31 views last activity

Devs please fix the map. It's one of the most insufferable and impossible maps if killer brings it. Just slap your favorite build and enjoy your free win. The only time you can do anything about it is if killer did not expect it. Even in this case - you just have to pray you didn't get one of many killers that hard-counter this map - like nurse or nemesis. Instead of making the map reasonable,30 comments 301 views last activity

Unless if you're an absolute FPS God at aiming or understand his anti-loop capabilities, Trickster is still a hard killer to play as. He's TOO hard to play to be honest. His difficulty will lead to people camping with him more often than they should. Trust me.0 comments 11 views last activity

I'll keep this short. The changes to Medkits and CoH are great. But changing the base healing to 24 seconds is far, far too drastic. I think you should keep it at 16 seconds, and instead give Medkits a self healing speed of 65%. That way, Medkits will heal you in 24.5 seconds, but normal heals will take 16 seconds like before. Also, Self Care would take 68 seconds with these changes. 85 seconds2 comments 111 views last activity

Well, since we are going to have to perk patch in a few weeks, i thought i would share my personal opinion by ranking all the perks in each role. For context, i think that until B tier the perk is ok or decent. Everything below either has better options, weak or might actually hurt you. None of the tiers are ordered. Wonder how things will change in the next update.36 comments 1,274 views last activity

Please add some mesures to the skull merchants power for people who suffer from motion sickness and migraines. I can’t even play a match against her without becoming nauseous from all the moving and flashing lights, textures, and especially the moving dots on screen.
